Years Later (Naruto RP) (started and accepting)

After Arashi caught up with Daichi he slowed slightly so that they where both moving at the same pace. "Yeah, rasengan should work, give it a try." Arashi answered Kinata over the radio. "But only do it one time, if that's not enough then just sit back and wait for us. We don't want you wasting more chakra than necessary. We should be there in about fifteen or twenty minutes." As Arashi dashed alongside Daichi he realized that Wiz, who was normally a very carefree creature, had a very serious look on his face. He noticed that Daichi looked the same. Arashi opened his mouth to say something, but decided against it.

 

Back at the hideout Ryuji and Kaida where standing next to a large rock, or rather Ryuji was slumped against the side of the rock and Kaida was siting on top of it. From a distance the two siblings looked more like clones than two separate people, even up close the noticeable differences is limited to those that separate there genders. Being that they where siblings they had a tendency to argue about almost everything, like right now. "Thanks to you always taking to long getting dressed we weren't able to go with the others to get the kid yesterday." Ryuji commented, making Kaida's face turn red. "You're the one who ....." Kaida's coment was cut short when she heard the blast coming from the entrance of the hideout. "What was that?" Both siblings said at the same time.

[Auralady]

"That was a shinobi from the Village Hidden in the Leafs.", Roya said appearing in one of the many enterence ways. Her eyes were narrowed at the two but still the typicall onyx black in stead of the Sharingan red. "Our friends from the Leaf village have gotten impatient to get the kid back it seems. Lady Kasumi is with the child and she sent me to get the pair of you. We're to ingage the Leaf in battle. One of them, a boy, managed to get past the first barrier and now one of them is trying to get past the second.", the young Uchilia explained.

 

"Fifteen to twenty minutes...right." She eyed the large boulder she managed to damage with her water jutsu. 'We don't want you to waste your chakra...', Kinata recalled her sensei's words. 'Problem is sensei these aren't easy barriers. We might just have to in order to get past them. But Rasengan should do the trick and if not...well...we can worry about that then.', she thought. Kinata performed the single hand sign, "Shadow clone jutsu!" A clone Kinata appeared next to her ina puff of white smoke and started to build the chakra sphere in her palm. When the clone disappered Kinata charged the boulder, "Rasengan!" And plowed the jutsu into the barrier.

"Already?" Kaida jumped off of the rock next to his brother, who was no longer leaning, and stood straight. Ryusei grinned. "Looks like we're gonna be able to participate in round two." They heard another, much louder, blast coming from the entrance. "Stronger attack?" Kaida wondered, although she didn't seem surprised. "I guess we bedder hurry and say hello to our guest." Ryusei cracked his knuckles and both of the twins headed off to the entrance to wait. "Tell Lady Kasumi to hurry up with the kid. If she's serious about this little peace act we're gonna need him to get out of this without somebody dying."

[Auralady]

Kinata was thrown back from the blast when her Rasengan hit. She hoped this time her jutsu managed to get rid of the boulder. 'Darn it. Used a little too much chakra that time. Oh well. Shouldn't be a big problem. Still...I need to be more controlled about how much chakra I use in that jutsu.', Kinata scolded herself panting slightly. When the dust and debris cleared from the air the kunochi grinned, "Gottcha!" The boulder had been blasted away from the enterence. She leaned her back up against the stone wall releieved. "We're in sensei. Boulders gone and so far no retalioation." Now all she had to do was wait for Diachi and Arashi to show up.

 

 

Kasumi was finishing up with the boy. Meanwhile Roya was running through the dark tunnels of underground hideout. She had to come up with a plan and fast.

Ryusei and Kaida arrived close to the entrance just as the second barrier fell to the ground. "Looks like they got past the second barrier, this time with force." Ryusei leaned against a wall. "This is definitely going to be interesting." Kaida sat on the ground and grumbled. "More like a troublesome fight. Why can't we get more easy opponents, I hate working."

Daichi dashed in to the opening in front of the hideout, followed a few seconds later by Arashi. "I just wish getting past the first barrier had been that easy." Daichi remembered using up almost all of his chakra removing the tags for the first barrier. "Okay. Now that that's over with, lets get the rest of this over with." Before he could move forward he heard something off to the side and readied a kunai just as a red haired ninja stepped out of the trees. He lowered his weapon only slightly when he noticed the leaf village forehead protector. There where a lot of ninja in the leaf, Daichi had no clue if he had ever seen this was before, so he didn't want to take any chances of it being a rouge.

Ryusei raised both hands lazily. "I don't suppose saying 'I come in peace' would do any good." He blew a bubble which grew to about the size of his head before popping and being eaten again. "I was coming back from a mission when i heard an explosion. I decided to come check it out."

[Auralady]

Kinata's eyes narrowed thinking her father woud have told the team or their jonin leader. But then again by the sound of it this shinobi was on a different mission then Team Arashi was on. If that was the case then Naruto would not have told the team about this shinobi. Instinctivly her eyes glanced and scanned the area checking for any shinobi that could be this man's teamates. But, to her surprise, she couldn't find any. Again she shrugged this off and let it slide. 'Shinobi are sent on solo missions after all. He was most likely sent on a solo mission too. Not big suspisous matter if that's it.', Kinata thought. So she smiled at Ryusei, "We're trying to recover a survivor from the Rain villlage destruction.", she asked. All the while her muscles tensed in case of a sneak attack though it didn't seem like there was anyone else near by but them.

"Survivor? Rain village destruction?" Ryusei looked inside the cave and noticed a third barrier still blocking the path. Arashi stepped forward "There is a kid inside that is very vital to us. We have to break in to this cave to get him back, but as you can see it's not easy getting through. We would appreciate any help you could give us in saving the child." Of course Ryusei had not even needed asking, he was already thinking about a way to get past the third barrier. "Le's see, I've been chewing on this piece of gum for about two days. So it should have more than enough chakra to rival an A-level jutsu, or higher." He stepped up to the final barrier and places the red piece of gum he had been chewing on to the barrier and calmly stepped away from it. "I would move if I where you. This is gonna make a paper bomb look like a candle." Although Ryusei was exaggerating, it was true that the explosion would be much stronger than a paper bomb. Daichi had not waited for any further explanation and quickly jumped away from the gum. Arashi on the other hand had no idea what was going on, it wasn't until he saw a small flame appear where the gum was that he quickly moved back, barely avoiding the large blast. "I warned you."

Kasumi appeared with the kid in tow and loked at the Leaf troop. "No there was really no need for that you know. You can take the boy back but get in our way and we will not hesitate to kill everyone of you...understand?", Kasumi watched the troop through her mask. Then she gave Inro a slight push forward towrds the Leaf shinobi before disappearing into an ice mirrior and the mirrior melting. Of course the boy didn't need much urging because he ran right to the Leaf shinobi and hid behind Arashi. Kinatawatched Kasumi go for a minute and then turned to the shaking boy even thoug hit wasn;t that bad anymore. "Hey it's ok kid. You're safe now and we can now take you back to the village with us. You'll beafe once we get you there.", Kinata smiled encouraginly to the boy hiding behind her sensei. The boy seemed encouraged by her words and nodded before the shaking stopped even if he was glancing around nervously alert.

"No need?" Arashi thought as the kid hid behind him. "We should have had this kid more than an hour ago." He sighed and turned to the kid. "Sorry little one. If I had been stronger then this never would have happened." He placed his hand on Inro's shoulder. "You didn't get hurt did you?" The collar if his shirt and thrown over kurei's shoulder. "We can have a medical ninja look at him when we get to the leaf village." Ryusei, having been confused about the entire thing, immediately reached for his weapons pouch when he noticed Kurei but he stopped when Arashi held out his hand to stop him. "It's okay, he's with us." Arashi turned his attention back to kurei. "So you're in control again? I thought that only happened when Daichi got angry." At first Kurei seemed to not even hear Arashi as he tried forcing the kid to stop squirming, finally hitting him in the head to shut him up. "Nope. Him getting angry just makes it easier for me to take over. Today I plan to take this for all its worth."

Kinata sighed grinning and turned from her team to glance at Ryusei. "Don't ask. It's a long story but you'll eventually get used to it.", she smiled before looking back to the others. "Yeah he doesn't look hurt so he should be able to make it back to the village ok. Right kid?", she added loking at Inro hiding behind Arashi. The boy only loked back up at her and nodded. Then a sudden thought came to Kinata, "We can stay in the barrier I set up earlier if we arn't heading right for the village sensei. And where's.......?" "Looking for me Kinata?" Roya emerged from the woods panting and loking a little beat up but nothing too serious. "Before you guys got here I tried to escape with the kid. But we got cought by a bunch of rouge shinobi. I've lead them away from here though so they shouldn't give us any more trouble." Roya noticed Ryusei but didn't keep her gaze on him for too long before smiling at the kid behind the jonin.

"Now that this is settled." Arashi grumbled, having been hoping for a rematch with his previous opponent. He reached in to his weapons pouch and pulled out a compass, he always carried it because he never knew how to get from one village to the next without getting lost. "The needle is pointing that way" he pointed. "So lets go." Arashi started walking in the direction the needle had been pointing. Kurei also started walking, but instead of following Arashi he went in a different direction to the left of where Arashi had went. Ryusei stared for a moment. "Should we tell Arashi that the needle isn't pointing towards the leaf village?"

Kinata stood there still with the kid and Ryusei glancing between Kurei and Arashi going in opposite directions. She helped the kid up from the ground and dusted him off surprised that, for all Kurei's superior strength, age and size, the boy was relativly in no different a condition then before. She stood up right again and thought for a minute still watching the two walking away. "You know that might not be a bad idea.", Kinata admitted to Ryusei. Then she ran about two feet away from Ryusei and the boy and called to Arashi. "Arashi sensei I'm pretty sure the village is the other way.", she called after the jonin. Of course a thought did come to her as she called. Kinata never stoped to think that maybe the team leader was going the way he was for a certain reason. But then again with Arashi she could never really tell.

 

Roya crossed her arms and leaned against the side of the hideout enterence quietly. She had a feeling she was going to go insane by the end of this whole thing. But she was heading back to her old home and that was something she looked forward too. Of course she had to remember to keep her Sharingan use from low to none at all or risk being discovered. 'Shouldn't be a large problem. I've improved from the training with Kasumi after all.', she told herself.

"Wrong way? But the needle..." Arashi started turned to Kunata as he pointed to the direction he had been walking. He lowered his hand and stopped talking. "Oh well, I guess you guys are a lot bedder than any compass." He turned around and followed Kurei and the others. Only a few feet away from Arashi there where two figures, a blond, short haired girl with no shoes and her eyes completely closed. Next to her was a larger man with white hair and a black coat, his hands and neck where covered in bandages which appeared to go underneath his clothing. "Do you think he noticed us?" Yokio whispered. Even though he was the leader of the two, he knew that Natsumi's ability to detect lies where far superior to his. "No, I think he's just an idiot."

Kinata fallowed the others looking up at the sky as they walked. "Finally we're headed home tothe village. It feels like forever since we left.", she sighed smiling. Kinata turned to Roya and asked, "So Roya what do you think you're going to do once we get back to the village? It's been awhile since you were sent on your ission to right?" Roya turned and looked at Kinata, "Yeah it has been awhile for me too. As for what I'm going to do when we get back to the village I'm not sure. Probley go to one of the training fields and practice a couple of my jutsus while waiting for the Sixth Hokage to assign me a new team. I've practiced a little bit but not much since leaving.", Roya said.

Ryusei reached in to his weapons pouch and pulled out a small, red, pack of gum, most of which had been crumpled away do to lack of content. "I know exactly what I'm gonna do when i get back." He sighed as he looked in to the pack, there where only three pieces left and this was his last pack of the red, exploding gum. "Man, between bills food and weapons, I barely ever have enough money left over for myself. I can't wait till I get a chance to take the jonin exams, those guys make a lot more money. Isn't that right Arashi-sensei?" He looked over to Arashi only to see that the jonin was sleep walking, a small snot bubble hanging from his nose. "I-is he really a jonin?" In front of the group Kurei smirked slightly. "I think we have all wondered that same question at least a dozen times sence we left on this mission."

[Auralady]

Kinata laughed and looked over at Raidon smiling. "Yeah we pretty much ask ourselves that all the time. But, to be fair, you've never seen Arashi sensei in battle before. I'm sure he became a jonin on skill more then anything else but what are you going to do? No matter how he became a jonin he's is one and he's our sensei." Kinata shrugged and looked back at Roya who was silent. "Hey you ok there Roya?" Roya looked at Kinata when she heared her name and smiled. "Yeah I'm fine Kinata prominse. Just can't be too carefull on a mission right? I'm just staying really alert in case anythng happens. After all, we don't want a repeat of what happened with those rouges or worse right?"

I understand if you guys don't like how I do things." Arashi grunted. "But I really wish you would stop talking about me like I'm not around." Ryusei laughed nervously and tossed a piece of red gum in his mouth. "Sorry 'bout that." He heard a small squeaking noise from behind them, when he turned around he saw Wiz half jumping half gliding with his ears until he landed on top of Inro's head. "Who's this?" Kurei gave Wiz a pat on the head. "I was wondering when you where going to show up. Must have gotten separated earlier when we where avoiding your explosion." The last comment was directed towards Ryusei.

 

Yokio and Natsumi had not moved from there position in the bushes, preferring to wait till the leaf ninja where out of earshot and eyesight before moving. "I take it we're not going to attack." Natsumi whispered. This comment made Yukio chuckled, of course no humor could be heard. "Go ahead, if you think you can stop them. A wielder of one of the mist swords, and three chunin ninja. Of course any one of them could probably give a jonin a run for there money if they are pushed too far." Natsumi face filled with curiosity. "So you don't think you can beat four jonin level ninja? You've done more than that on your own." Yukio eyed the four ninja, Kurei more than the others. "Maybe you're right, maybe not. But for the moment we have no reason to risk our lives in a fight with these ninja. Don't worry, we'll get plenty of other chances.

In an unknown underground laberinth of tunnels under the Hidden Mist Village six people lined the walls of a large torch lit cavern. The people's faces were hidden in shadow but they were still clearly grinning. The Mizukage of the village stood in the center of the cavern, "It wasn't in the catacombs of the Hidden RainVillage and one of the villagers survived the shadow ninja. A youngboy not old enough to be a genin yet by the sounds of it." A dark man's voice rang around the cavern in response, "This boy must be disposed of before he can cause any troubles for us. I've sent Natsumi and Yokio to check on the Leaf shinobi the shadow ninjas reported." A man in a red cloak spoke up, "What!? The six of us could handle the Leaf!" "In a war it is best to first understand your opponent.", a boy in white spoke up calmly. "We can't all be favorites you know!", the man in red retorted looking at the teenager. "Stop it the pair of you. You two are making the group look like a farce.", the youngest member clad in a black cloak hissed causing both her teamates to fall silent right away. "Mizukage set it up with the Village Hidden in the Leafs to have th boy brought here for protection. Mizuri, Aoi and Yonkuro will acompeny Yokio and Natsumi to act as Mist shinobi esscorts that will meet the Leaf and the boy at a half way mark to esscort them the rest of the way to the village.", the dark man's voice spoke again. "Right away.", the Mizukage bowed and left the cavern.

 

Kinata blushed a little, "Sorry sensei.", she rubbed the back of her head. 'Man he has ears like a hawk! I was sure he was out of it!', Kinata thought. She looked over to see the boy giggle as he reached up trying to grab Wiz on his head. "Hey Kinata when we get back to the village will you help me with my lightning jutsus?", Roya asked the chunin leval kunochi. "Lightning jutsus? I never really pegged you for a lightning nature but sure Roya.", smiled Kinata.

In the hideout Ryuji opened his mouth to a loud, long, yawn. He had barely moved on the top of the boulder by the entrance to the cave. "I'm glad that's done and over with. Good thing Lady Kasumi took the kid back before they got past the two barriers." Kaida on the other hand was anything but happy, she was angry. Kaida had been looking forward to a battle, and was currently pacing the entryway shouting, almost tempted to destroy the last two barriers herself and case after the leaf. "She was almost an hour late, she couldn't have waited another twenty minutes? Man I can't believe I got up for this." She glared at Ryuji. "You get a name that means dragon and yet you act more like a sloth. How the hell did that happen." Ryuji closed his eyes as he replied. "Contrary to popular belief, dragons did not go out looking for fights. They where peaceful creatures and only fought when the situation demanded it." Kaida grumbled under her breath, she had grown tired with Ryuji saying that same like every time she commented on his name.

 

Natsumi, with Yokio following behind her, followed the leaf from a distance. While she was staying back far enough to avoid being seen or heard, she was using her special technique to send a constant flow of chakra through the earth and towards the leaf. Thanks to this she could sence where the ninja's where moving as well as feel the vibrations, no mater how small, from when they where talking, allowing her to know most of what was being said. While she was doing this she also had another job on her plate, keeping Yokio in control of his body. Earlier Natsumi had felt a small increase in Yokio's heart rate, which was a sign of him getting angry. The main reason Natsumi had been paired up with Yokio was because, thanks to her special technique, she was the only person that could stop him from losing his temper and transforming in to his alter ego Krad. The leap in her partners heart rate was only small, but her first time out with Yokio had taught her that even a small increase should be treated seriously, this mistake ended up with Yokio being hospitalized, because of Krads chakra, and Natsumi getting in a lot of trouble for not stopping him.

Eventually the Leaf troop came to the front main gates of the Hidden Leaf village. "Finally! We're back!", Kinata yelled and took of through the main villages gates. She passed the two chunin gairds and ran into the village itself. Roya sighed and looked at Arashi, "Does she always act like this sensei?" Though it didn't show Roya was glad to finally return back to the village. She couldn't remember the last time she had been in the village walls. In truth she was just as excited as Kinata was right now. Inro fallowed a bit more tentivly then Roya...and definetly more so then Kinata. He stuck close to Arashi and Roya and glanced around at his surroundings.

"I'm not really sure." Arashi answered. "You can probably tell by our lack of teamwork, but this is our first mission together. I've never seen her reaction after a long mission." After they finally entered the village Ryusei moved straight for the hokage mansion. "Since I was technically on a different mission, I should go ahead and report to the hokage. Hopefully he wont realize it took me a little longer to get back." Daichi stretched out his arms a bit. "I'm gonna go look for bushy brow. I need to practice a technique I've been working on and unfortunately I can't use a tree for this particular technique. I would bet that he would be happy to help with my training." Arashi stuck by the kid and Roya. "Seeing as how we're just going to have to wait if ewe go straight to report our mission, I'm gonna go get some ramen." He smiled down at the kid. "Wanna join?"

Kinata took off right away for the Hokage's. However before going into the office she took off for her room to get cleaned up a bit. After cleaning herself up she walked back down the hall to the offfice. Kinata reminded herself to go meet Roya at the training fields later and knocked on the door. When she heared the familier voice of the Sixth Hokage Kinata entered. She closed the door behind her and smiled as she walked towrds the desk. She looked at Naruto who glanced up at her. "Oh you're finally back Kinata...good. I guess the rest of the team is out in the village then?", Naruto asked her. Kinata nodded, "Arashi sensei said he would be comming to give a report later and we found someone who survived." Naruto looked up right away, "Really?" Kinata nodded again, "A young boy named Inro Naztegahi whose with Arashi sensei now. And Roya too." At first it seemed like Naruto was unsure about something but then grinned, "So you found Roya then too. That's a relief and so is finding this boy. I'll speak to him when Arashi sensei comes to give his report. It's good to have you back." Kinata nodded and headed to the training feilds to help Roya with her lightning jutsus. 'It's good to be back.', she thought as she ran to the fields.

Arashi slipped down the last of a large bowl of ramen and set it back on the table. "More please!" He set the bowl in to a small pile as the ramen girl handed him his third bowl. Arashi looked over to the side and saw that Inro was already finished and waiting for Arashi. "I'll be done after a few more bowls." Arashi used his chopsticks and began slurping down his new bowl of ramen. After finishing three more bowls before he finished and paid. "I thing Ryusei was right. Being a jonin does have its advantages."

 

A little ways away Ryusei was buying ingredients to make more of his red exploding gum. He walked out of the store and headed straight for his home so he could start mixing. The last thing he wanted to do at this point was get sent on another mission and not be prepared, this meant he had to hurry because it took about three days for a full batch to be finished.

 

After searching for a while Daichi finally found Rock lee and was able to convince him to help with the training. They had decided that it would be best to practice in an area where there wouldn't be other ninja, meaning the training ground was out of the question. They had chosen a small area of a forest where Daichi did most of his Tyjutsu training. "The technique I'm training for is a defense based technique, so I need you to attack me. And you can't hold back otherwise it wont work." Lee didn't need any more instructions, he charged at Daichi and started the fight with a powerful kick.
