history: Zu Dong is a very powerfull ancient demon. Very few ninjas know anything about him today. Zu Dong was a bloodthirsty ninja who used a forbbden jutsu to obtain power. After nearly destroying his own village with an army of shadow ninj and rouge ninjas, Zu Dong was defeated by the founder's of each village when they wroked together to seperate his body and soul. His body was locked under lock, key, complecated traps and jutsus in the catacombs deep under the Hidden Rain Village. But later it was moved to the Land of Snow and hidden likewise there when it was discovered his soul was searching for his body. If the body and soul come together again Zu Dong would be stronger then anyone, possibly even a Jinchuriki like Naruto, could imagine or contend with.Zu Dong's army of shadow and rouge ninja has been awakened and the war begins again!!!

 

Shadow Ninja - just like their name inpmlies these are ninjas summoned by Zu Dong that are created from shadows. They are quicker then normal ninjas, do not bleed, are silent, can blend to the shadows and are not effected by genjutsu, taijutsu or normal weapons. Only efected by ninjutsus or chakra-enhanced weapons.

 

Zu Dong's Six Shadows - A group of six shinobi from all over that each specailize in a certain type of chakra nature. They are knonw to be ruthless fighters and highly skilled ninja. They are the: Lead Shadow, Fire Shadow, Earth Shadow, Wind Shadow, Water Shadow and Lightning Shadow.

Kinata walked through the village board. It was a bright and sunny day and everyone was out and about. Shethought about practicing the new move her father had been showing her and shrugged. She turned and headed for the training field. When she got there she stopped and looked around. "What I need is teamates.", she said to herself. At the moment her father was her sensei and she hioped she was put on a squad soon. She noticed the three posts and sighed. Then she kicked off from the ground hard propelling herself into the air. When she was high enough she took out three kunei knives and threw them at her three targets. She landed and grinned satisfied when she heard the sounds of each kunei making it's mark.

Shikoya walked out the front door, brushing her black hair out of her eyes. With a bored sigh she set out to a training ground, since she intended to practise her Jutsus, as they left a lot to be desired. Reachimg the training area, she decided which jutsu to do first. Performing a quick handsign, she called out, "Water Style: Water Dragon!" A dragon made of water shot foward speedily, slamming into the small target post, which fell backwards. With a grin, Shikoya decided to perform another jutsu. "Water Style: Giant Vortex!" She commanded, with a quick handsign. A giant vortex a water appeared, sending droplets of water flying all over the place. It completely obleterated another post. With a smile, Shikoya ended the vortex. "Now for some physical training."

"Pretty good aim." A shadowy voice came from the woods at the training field where Kinata was. The voice was followed by the sound of kunai flying through the air, stabbing in to the back end of the training posts and forcing one of Kinata's kunai out of the wood. The blade of the new kunai was emerging from the wood with wind element chakra surrounding the blade. "Not bad. But then again, I guess throwing three kunai in mid air is harder than throwing one kunai in front of you." Kurai jumped out of the tree's a landed on top of the post which he had hit with his kunai. "Come on Wiz." Daichi reached down and pulled his kunai out of the tree, with a puff of smoke it turned in to a small rabbit like creature. "He's kind of cute..... It's the one thing I hate about him." Kurai said as he watched Wiz jumps around playfully. "If he wasn't so useful for killing people, i probably wouldn't even keep him around.

 

 

(Just to avoid confusion. Kurei is Daichi's dark alter ego. I'm not sure if I described him enough in the app, but he's not evil, just an ass.)

Kinata turned around. She looked at Kurei pretending not to be a little curious, "Thanks but a rabbit for killing people? Unless he transforms into a gaint rabbit or something that's hard to believe." She took out a shurikan and spun it around her finger, "Who are you anyway and what do you want?", she asked calmly. She wanted to keep her distence but then she shrugged an walked over to the posts. She pulled out her kunei and placed them away before leaning up against one of the posts. She looked at the boardering treeline and then sighed, 'Why not?', she thought. Kinata looked back up at Kurai still ontop of the post, "I'm Kinata before you ask me." She stuck the shurikan away again and her eyes drifted back to the surrounding treeline and then the village and back to Kurai again. She had an uneasy feeling.

Shikoya decided she'd trained her jutsus enough. Grabbing a shuriken, she jumped up as if avoiding something, then threw the shuriken with deadly accuracy at the post. It stuck firm. Shikoya smiled. "Great, my aim's improving." She pulled out three shuriken. "Now multi throw." She leapt onto her hands and pushed herself into the air, and threw all three shuriken at the pole, then, ducked and landed. Looking up gasping, she noticed all three shuriken had wedged themselves into the pole, more or less near the place she'd been aiming at. She smiled happily. "Great!" She exclaimed. "If I'm lucky, I'll go up a rank soon."

"Giant rabbit? I'm sure he could pull that off." Kurei placed his hand on Wiz's head. His pointer, middle and ring fingers where between the ears while the thumb and little finger where on ether side of the creatures head. "But I much prefer a more bloody transformation." He squeezed Wiz's head slightly, but not enough to cause any pain. With a cloud of black smoke Wiz turned in to a large black and red sword. The sword looked almost like a wing with a blue eye just above the handle, although the eye was just for decoration, it still manages to spook some people. At the start of the blade the metal made a sort of hook with what looked like a fang on the end of it. "Wiz may be cute and cuddly, but in my hands he can turn in to the most deadly of weapons." He paused for a second and, with another cloud of black smoke, the sword turned n to a basic kunai. "Or, for a slightly less dangerous weapon, he can also turn in to some of the basic ninja gear." He threw the kunai in the air a few feet and, this time with white smoke, turned back in to a rabbit like creature and used its ears to glide on to Kinata's head. "And for some reason he seems to like other people." He zoned out for a few second before realizing Kinata had asked for his name. "My name is Kurei. Don't ask for my last name, because I won't tell you." He didn't bother with anything like 'nice to meed you', it just wasn't the kind of thing he was in to. "It's kind of easy to figure out your name, after all your the Hokage's daughter. I hope you don't let it go to your head girlie."

Kinata laughed when Wiz ended up on on her head but stopped when Kurai had mentioned her being the Hokage's daughter. She glared at him and felt her temper rise sharply, "I Know I'm not the strongest ninja out there and I'm not stupid or shallow enough to think like that! You would think I would love the attention right!? But you are wrong! I hate it! I'm so tierd of people acting wierd around me like they're afraid of me just because of who my dad is! And then Jonins look at me like they expect me to pull off an impossible task! It's maddening! My parents couldn't be some normal Leaf shinobi oh no!" KInata calmed down but continued to glare at Kurai for a moment with all thoughts of the uneasy feeling she had earlier gone. "And if you are tryng to scare me off or something forget it. I'm just not easily intimidated....never have been really.", she added as her breathing steadied more now. 'Man I need to keep my big mouth shut!', she cursed herself silently for losing controll of her temper again.

 

Suddenly a boy who was clearly a Gennin came running over to Kurai and Kinata. He stopped, "Lad..." A warning glare from Kinata silenced the boy, "The Lord Hokage wants to see you right away." HE looked at Kurai, "You to." Then the boy looked at both of them again, "Team Asahi has been assigned it's first mission." The boy took off to search for the remaning member of the new team. Kinata looked at Kurai, "Team Asashi?" 'Great!', she thought sarcastically. She looked at Kurai and then raced back towards the village.

The boy ran to the training field untill he saw the last remaioning member of Team Asashi. He stopped and walked over to the girl, "Shiyoka Faretuyo. The Lord Hokage wants to see you right away. Team Asashi has been given it's first mission." With that the boy tok off back to the village. He had found all three members of the new team and told them that they had been given their first assiment together. The realization of what their first mission was still deturbed him and he silently wished the new team luck.

Kurei stared at Kinata after her rant about hatting the fact that she was the Hokage's daughter. After a few second he let out a short laugh. "I could listen to this all day, it's so funny." After hearing the Genin say what team he was going to be placed in he jumped to the ground and straightened up. "I guess that means were on the same team. After you Lady Kinata." He bowed slightly. When he called Kinata 'Lady' he said it with a mocking tone in his voice, not as a way to act polite. "Wiz!" He called in a commanding voice and Wiz jumped on to Kurei's back and transformed in to a pair of large black wings. "See you later." The black wings started flapping and he rose in to the air. "Oh no." Kurei said calmly when he was about 30 feet in the air. A few seconds later Kurei transformed in to Daichi, which quickly led to Wiz turning back in to his main form and they both fell to the ground. "I really hate it when that happens." Daichi complained as he stood up and rubbed his back where he landed. "Ouch."

Meanwhile Arashi was siting underneath a large waterfall, his legs crossed, his palms together and the handle of his sword was sitting on his lap. Just before the heavy waterfall hit his body it switched directions, almost as if he had an invisible armor on. The reason none of the water was touching him was because Arashi was training his control over his water element, stopping the heavy power of a waterfall from touching him was the perfect way to train. Arashi lifted his hands up and began performing hand seals. "Tiger, Ox, Monkey, Rabbit, Ram, Boar, Ox, Horse, Monkey, Tiger, Dog, Tiger, Snake, Tiger, Ox, Monkey, Rabbit, Bird." A large circle of raging water formed in front of him, but it quickly fell to the ground as Arashi lost his concentration and the waterfall pushed down on his body with enough force to crush a normal person. Arashi immediately grabbed his sword and jumped out of the waterfall. "Damn. I guess my limit is B-rank techniques while doing that." He placed his sword handle in to his weapons pouch and rubbed his hands through his hair to get some of the water out.

Shikoya threw some more shuriken at the post, and even practised pyhiscaal comabat, hitting certain parts of the training post. The marked places were the places she was supposed to hit, the fatal ones. As she practised, a Genin ran up. "Shiyoka Faretuyo. The Lord Hokage wants to see you right away. Team Asashi has been given it's first mission." Shikoya nodded, picked up her shuriken, and walked back to the village. "My first mission..." Shikoya thought excitedly. " Time to put my skills to the test." She entered the village and found her team members, and waited for their assignment.

[Auralady]

Kinata, oblivios to Kurai turning into Daichi, reached the village and stopped next to Shikoya. She looked at the other girl and smiled, "Hi. You must be our other teamate. Finally someone I can talk to without gettig a cheeky answer back." Kinata giggled. "Ahh good you're here.", Naruto walked over and stopped in front of Shikoya and Kinata. He smiled, "Shall we wait for the last team member? I've just sent a Genin to your new sensei so once you're other teamate gets here we'll go inmy (office I guess you could call it?) and I'll tell you about your mission there." Kinata looked around at the villagers walking around the three of them. 'I thought something was up. But what could be so major we were needed right away? It sounded urgent.', Kinata thought to herself. Excitment and worry rampent in her mind. Meanwhile, the boy walked over to Arashi. "Arashi Sensei.", he said, "Your team has been given it's first mission."

"Mission?" Arashi stood up straight and thought for a moment. "Oh, crap." He started to run to the edge of the lake, the entire time making hand seals. "Water dragon jutsu." Just before he reached the edge of the lake a large water dragon emerged from below him and carried him for about 30 feet before falling to the ground, just before the dragon fell Arashi hurled himself forward and dashed off to the mansion. When he finally arrived he jumped in through the window. "Yo. Sorry I'm late." He forced a smile as water fell from his soaking wet hair.

 

After recovering from his fall Daichi jumped to his feet and dusted the dirt off his legs. "Crap. I'm gonna be late." He picked up Wiz, who was still dizzy, and started heading for the Hokage mansion in the center of the village. "Stupid kurei, always running around causing trouble. He's gonna be the death of me one day." He got to the road leading to the mansion where people crowded the streets. "Looks like I'm going topside." He threw Wiz in to the air and then jumped on to the nearest roof and dashed off. As Wiz began falling he transformed in to a small bird and followed after Daichi. After a few minuted he arrived and quickly ran in through the door. "Hey. What's up." He looked around to see that he was the last one to arrive. "Damn." Wiz flew in through the window and did a few loops before transforming back to normal, landing on Daichi's head, and posing. "Show off." Daichi grumbled, but he couldn't help but smile. He grabbed Wiz, held him in his arms and stood up straight. "He's so cute. Sometimes I just can't take my eyes off of him."

Kinata looked at Daichi confused but then shrugged. "Now introductions first. Kinata and Shikoya. Meet your other team member Daichi Kiwa and your sensei Arashi. You'll have more time to get to know eachother on your various missions but now for your first mission.", Naruto's face darkened. "We have just recieved word that the Village Hidden in the Rain was found completely leveled with no sign of a struggle or survivors. Team Arashi's mission is to go to the Rain village and see if you can find out what happened there and why. Also search for and bring back any survivors.", he looked at Kinata, "Your training with Sakura will come in handy here Kinata." Kinata nodded but was clearly annoyed her father brought up her Medical Ninjutsu training, 'Let's keep racking up the points against me dad.' Naruto turned to Arashi, "Arashi. I am sure it is safe to say that, not only is this an A-Rank mission, but we are also dealing with a fairly strong opponent. I'll have a team on stand by in case you need it."

When Naruto introduced him, Daichi smiled wide at his teammates. "Yo! I look forward to working with you all." He listened until Naruto was finished. "I'll do my best. If there is a single person still alive in that village I'll be sure to bring them back, even if it kills me." Of course it didn't take long before his alter ego, kurei, decided to comment on that. "What the hell is wrong with you. always putting your life on the line like that. You've got the common since of a retarded monkey." Daichi then let out a loud yell. "SHUT THE HELL UP YOU ASS HOLE!!" When he calmed down his face turned red with embarrassment because Kurei had been speaking in Daichi's mind, meaning nobody ells heard him, making It sounded like he was yelling at himself.

Arashi stared at Daichi for a moment before replying to Naruto. "Right. If we need any help I'll be sure to send a messenger immediately." He looked back at his team, water still dripping from his face. "Alright people. Let's get a move on."

Kinata looked at Daichi and laughed a little bit at him yelling at himself. She was glad to be getting out of the village for a while without having to go to the training fields. She knew they didn't have to cross anouther village's lands to get to the Hidden Rain village but she ran over the way anyway. It would still take a few days even though her village and the Rain shared a boarder. She was curious as to where Kurai was but she lwas convinced she liked Daichi better. He wasn't cheeky or rude like Kurai and Kinata nearly burst with anticipation. She looked at Arashi, "I think we are ready Arashi Sensei."

[Esplin 9466 Primary]

"All right. First one to the gates has to carry everybody's bags." Arashi said with a smiled and a thumbs up pose. "WHAT!" Daichi quickly jumped out of the window and dashed towards the gates. As soon as Daichi was out of earshot Arashi bust out laughing. "I wonder if he's gonna notice that I said the FIRST person has to carry the bags." He glanced up at Naruto before he forced himself to stop laughing. "Sorry, I couldn't help myself." He leaped out the window and started to the village gates. When he arrived he looked around but didn't see anybody accept the two guards. "What the...." He noticed Daichi walking up the streets with a large grin on his face. When Daichi got close enough he handed his bag to Arashi. "Not as dumb as I look, am I?"

Shikoya followed Daichi and Arashi out the door. "Well, I won't be first." She muttered quietly, following the others. She was tempted to laugh when she saw Daichi trick Arashi into carrying their bags. " Well, he didn't expect that!" Shikoya thought with a laugh. Then her face became serious. " But Naruto said this was an A-Rank mission, yet this our first. I don't doubt the strength of this team, as we are all reasonably strong for Chunin, but seriously, are we ready for an A rank mission so soon?" She wondered.

[Auralady]

Kinata looked at Naruto like she was going to ask him something. Then, thinking against it, she fallowed the others. Not long after she was a few feet away and then walked over. Her mind drifted back to the fact that it was an A-Rank mission. 'Giving an A-Rank mission to a team that just met?', Kinata thought about it. 'Still.', she rememberd what they were told at the Academy, "Every team is choosen for it's strength's and weaknesses.", she whispered. "That means that every team if formed so that each persons weakness is covered by someone else's strength...making the team pretty balenced as far as talent goes.', she remided herself. She looked at the others, 'Could we really have been the best team for this mission based on that? Even for an A-Rank?' She looked out into the boardering trees, "We'll figure out what happened and why. No problem.", she smiled.

After a good laugh Daichi took his bag back from Arashi and put it on his back. "Okay, enough joking. Lets get a move on." Wiz jumped out of his arms and in to Daichi's backpack. "You bedder not eat any of my food." Daichi said as Wiz squirmed around in the bag. After the moving stopped there was a sound coming from the bag that Daichi recognized as Wiz snoring. "And... he's asleep." Daichi laughed and started heading towards the hidden rain village. "I've never been to the rain village before. It really sucks what happened there."

"I went there once on a mission, I'll make sure to personally beat the crap out of whoever destroyed the village." Arashi said with a glare in his eyes as he walked in front of the others. "It didn't deserve to be destroyed." He remembered back when he heard stories about how the rain had been destroyed because of the ninja wars.

[Auralady]

Kinata fallowed them. "I know villages have been threatened and destryoed before but what or who could be that strong? A single ninja can't destroy a whole village...let alone level it. Not when they are against every shinobi in that village. And then there is the leader of the village too. It's......desturbing is putting it mildly." Kinata hoped they could find someone that had survived. It would help them figure out what really happened to the Hidden Rain village. Trying to change the subject and get rid of the dark feeligs that the team seemed to be surrounded in KInata looked at the others. "Well this is different. I expected a test of some sort or a challenge before our first mission." Suddenly Kinata stopped dead in her tracks, 'We're being fallowed allready?'

"Well if it makes you feel any bedder. Nobody ever said it was one person. For all we know it could have been a small army." Arashi commented. "Then again, I'm not sure if that would be a good or a bad thing." Both Arashi and Daichi stopped when they heard the ninja following them. Wiz was already on Daichi's shoulder next to his ear. Daichi nodded slightly. "Go!" Immediately Wiz jumped in to the air and transformed in the a large shuriken which Daichi grabbed. Daichi pumped the shuriken full of wind element chakra until it looked like a rasen-shuriken, but without the rasengan in the center. "Demon wind shiruken, windmill attack." Daichi hurled the shiruken in to the tree's, he new exactly where the follower was because Wiz had sensed the man's chakra.

Kinata took out a kunei and cut her palm. She placed on the ground and made a hand sign, "Summoning Jutsu!" A large sleek raven appeared and Kinata hoped on it's back, "Nura?" The bird flashed it's wings, "Wind Style! Wind Cyclone Jutsu!" Both the large funnel of air and Daichi's attack collided with the trees and six ninjas appeared. "So we have some Leaf ninja then? HEading to what was once the Rain village.", one said. "We should let them pass. I mean it wasn't there after all.", said a women smirking. "Yes but still why not have some fun? I mean only one of them seems to be a Jonin.", anouther replied. The women and other man nodded. "I'll get the one with the bird. Fire Style! Grand Fireball Jutsu!", the first man said completeing a few hand signs and the jutsu headed for the group but angled towards Kinata. Kinata responded with a jutsu of her own, "Water Style! Water Curtain!" A large wall of water sprung up infront of the team blocking the fire jutsu, "This one's mine!", said Kinata.

"K-KINATA. What the hell?!" Daichi jumped in to the trees and picked up a slightly bruised Wiz. Despite having been in the form of a shuriken Wiz had still been damaged when he got hit by the wind element technique. "Good he's okay." He then heard the sound of weapons flying through the air, without looking back he jumped to the side just before a barrage of kunai and shuriken landed where he had been standing. "Looks like there's no time to play doctor." He pulled a kunai from his weapons pouch and ran wind element chakra over it. One of the ninja jumped at Daichi with a kunai ready. When the two kunai connected Daichi's blade cut the opponents blade in half, but before he could do anything ells one of the other ninja appeared behind him and kicked him to the side. Daichi slammed in to a tree. "That hurt." Daichi jumped in to the air as one of the two ninja came at him again, he used the tree to jump away so he could have time to prepare. "You messed with the wrong leaf ninja." Wiz jumped in to the air and transformed in to a pair of Kamas attached by a long chain.

"Looks like this is gonna be our chance to get to know each other a little bedder." Arashi was already performing hand seals as one of the ninja attacked with a dragon flame technique. "Liquid Bullet!!"Arashi breathed in a large amount of chakra and then spit out 3 blasts of water in succession to extinguish the dragon and a fourth aimed straight at the opponent. The ninja jumped out of the path of the attack and landed on the ground with plenty of distance between him and Arashi. Arashi then grabbed a kunai from his weapon pouch and threw it in threw it at the attacking ninja, although the ninja was able to avoid the kunai without much problem he noticed a paper bomb attached too it at the last second. Arashi performed the tiger hand seal and the bomb went off right next to the ninja.

Kinata dodged another fireball by leaping out of the way. Unfortunetly Kinata misjudged her opponent and a kunei lodged itself in her shoulder. Nura spread her wings and cought Kinata on her back. "Not what you expected is it?", Nura said angling back towards the fight. "Well what better way to learn then from your experience and mistakes?", replied Kinata as she decited to use her hight to her advantage. "Wind Style! Wind Cyclone Jutsu!", and once again the funnel of air headed for the rouge nija who dodged it. Kinata lept off of Nura's back and headed for the ninja with a kunei out. "You'll have to do better then that kid!", laughed the ninja as he repeated his last jutsu which collided with Kinata and caused her to disappear in a puff of smoke. The real Kinata burst out of the ground behind him, "You're right." A couple of quick hand signs and lightning chakra gathered around her palm, "Lightning Realease! Paralyzing Palm!" Kinata placed her hand on the rouge ninja's shoulder, sending the lightning chakra through him. Kinata realesed him and the ninja slumped to the ground unable to move, "I did have to do better." Nura landed behind her and refolded her wings again.

Daichi faced the two opposing ninja as he held one of the Kamas by the handle in his left hand and the other one by the chain spinning in his right hand. "You're gonna die kid." One of the ninja yelled as he charged at Daichi with a Katana. Daichi threw the Kama from his right hand at the opponent in the back while blocking the katana with the Kama in his left hand. When the ninja dodge the thrown Kama Daichi grabbed the chain and pulled so that it came back and cut the ninja in the side, He then kicked the attacking ninja in to a tree before pulling on the chain again to retrieve the right Kama. "I suggest you give up before you get hurt any more." Daichi said calmly before he was interrupted by Kurei. "What are you doing? If you let them live they're just gonna come back with more people."

"Water Slicing Blade!!" Arashi held out his hand as water from the air compressed to form a sword. The opposing ninja readied a katana and they both lunged at each other, there swords collided more than a dozen times before Arashi finally reached out his arm to grab the opposing ninja by the shirt collar. "Water bullet!" Arashi began breathing in air for a point blank attack, but before he had a chance he noticed two stone slabs sprout from the ground on ether side of him and begin closing. Before he could get trapped Arashi released his captive and jumped out of the rocks path. "Who?" Arashi looked around to see one of the other ninja staring right at him. "Liquid bullet." Arashi released the attack at the new attacker only to have a rock wall rise from the ground to block the attack. "And I was beginning to think this was getting too easy."
