Pokemon Gen V Card Contest (FINISHED! RESULTS ON PAGE 3)

This contest will be a little different. Make a card based on something from the fifth generation games, Pokemon Black and White. You can chose pokemon, trainers, items, areas, anything.

 

The prize will be all the points in the pot. It is 10 points to enter.

 

There will be three rounds, the details of which will be released upon the begining of each. Before the round 1 begins, there will be a sign up period for people to reserve their spots. If you do not post a card in a round, you will automatically be eliminated.

1. Make cards centering ONLY around Pokemon from the 5th generation games

2. All cards based on cities/routes have to be Field Spells

3. All items have to be either spell or traps

4. All attacks must be either spell of traps.

5. Pokemon must be monster cards.

6. No fusion/synchro monsters.

7. All YCM rules apply

Make your team. 6 monster cards, all of them have to be a 4 star (pokemon of level 38-42). All must be Pokemon exclusive to the 5th Gen (Pokemon Black & White version only).

 

Round one will end on Saturday October 16, 2010. Anyone who doesn't post their cards will be eliminated. Otherwise, the worst entry will cost the entrant to be eliminated. You have to post all 6 cards, one for each pokemon in your party.

 

 

 

 

 

[spoiler=Round 2]

 

Create a card for any trainer from the Black and White version games. Then make a card for their strongest pokemon. Trainers must be a Spell Card.

 

As the winner of round 1, HiroMax may submit two entries if he wishes. Which will give him an extra chance at winning.

 

Round 2 will end on Thursday October 21, 2010. Anyone who does not post their cards will be eliminated. If everyone posts, the worst entry will be eliminated instead. You must post two cards. One trainer of your choice from Pokemon Black or White version (gym leaders, rivals, friends, eliet 4, etc.) and that trainers most powerful pokemon as their second card.

 

 

 

 

[spoiler=Round 3]

 

Create a Field Spell card for any location of your choice, then create a continuous spell card for anything associated with that location. The continuous spell's effect must include...

 

"This card can only be activated as long as [your field spells name] remains face up on the field"

 

Gleek won round 2, so even if he has the worst card, he is unable to be eliminated. However, if he does not submit his cards, he WILL be eliminated for not competing. So as long as he participates, he is immune to elimination.

 

Round 3 will end on Thursday October 27, 2010. Anyone who does not post their cards will be eliminated. If everyone posts, the worst entry will be eliminated instead.

 

 

 

 

[spoiler=Round 4 FINAL]

 

Create any card of your choice. It must be related to Pokemon Black and White games and the fifth generation. It can be a trainer, a fifth gen pokemon, a location, event, anything.

 

Make this your best card, because only one can win. As the winner of Round 3, Zextra has the option of posting two cards, but is not required to do so.

 

Round 4 will end on Monday November 1, 2010. That's right, the day after Halloween. Those who don't post will be eliminated, and if everyone doesn't post, the final round will be redone with a 10 percent point decrease. You have only a matter of days, so hurry up and do your very best.

This card cannot be destroyed by battle, and all Battle Damage to either player from a battle involving this monster becomes 0. If this card attacks or is attacked by a non-FIRE monster, place 1 Burn Counter on that monster at the end of the Damage Step. While this card is face-up on the feild, all face-up monster with a Burn Counter cannot change its battle position and decrease its ATK by 300 points during each of your Standby Phases.

here are my pokemon, i tried to make them as close to their types and abilities. i made it so the pics were also similar tto make it seem more like a set i hope their good enough :lol:

Toss a coin and call Heads or Tails. Call it right and the original ATK of this card becomes 3000. If this card attacks or is attacked by a WATER Monster this card loses 1000 ATK during the Damage Step only.

While this card is face-up on the field, it is the only monster your opponent can select as an attack target. When this card is selected as an attack target, draw 1 card for each monster on the field. When this card is destroyed by battle, discard one card in your hand for every card on the field. This card loses 500 ATK and DEF each time it is attacked or attacks.

Once per turn, you can discard a card in your hand to increase the DEF of this card by 500 for 2 turns.. Once per turn, you can remove from play this card, until the end phase of your opponent's turn. If you do, this card can attack directly this turn.

If this card attacks or is attacked, your opponent cannot activate spell or trap cards until the damage step. If this card battles with a monster of the same level increase the ATK of this card by half the ATK of the opposing monster.

If this card is attacked by a Plant-type monster, increase the ATK of this card by 1000. Once per turn, you can decrease the ATK of this of this card by 500 to destroy one card on the field.

Once per turn, you can select one card in your graveyard. This card's name, attribute, effect, and level become that of the selected monster. If this card would be destroyed, you can remove from play the selected monster instead. When 4 monsters have been removed from play by this card's effect, remove from play this card. This card loses 500 ATK and DEF during the end phase of the turn it is summoned.

If this card is in defense mode, destroy it. If this card attacks a monster with 1000 more ATK than this card, you can change this card to a Psychic-type monster and increase this card's ATK by 1000.

here are some overly simple pokemon cards XD. Finding any good images for these is near to impossible...(or for me XD)

Once per turn, you can return this card and 1 other monster you control to Special Summon 1 Level 6 or higher Plant-Type monster in your hand. A monster Summoned by this effect cannot attack and its effect is negated until the End Phase. While this card in the Graveyard during each of your End Phases increase your Life Pionts x100 for each Plant-Type monster in your Graveyard except "Doredia - The Flower Lady".

When this card attacks a Defense Position monster destroy it without applying damage calcultions. During the End Phase, if this card is in Face-up Defense Position destory this card.

This card cannot be destroyed by battle by a WATER monster. When this card attacks monster, but does not destroy it place 1 Poison Counter on it.(Max 3) For each Poison Counter on the field decrease the ATK of all non-WATER monster's x100 for each Poison Counter on the field.

When this card destroys a monster by battle place 1 Centi Counter on this card(Max 3.). Once per turn, you can remove up to 3 Centi Counters from this card to reduce the ATK of 1 monster on the field x200 for each Centi Counter removed.

When this card is attacked at the end of the Damage Step return the attacking monster to its respected owner's Deck. When this card destroys a monster as a result of battle return that card to its respected owner's Deck instead.

When this card is attacked place 1 Thorn Counter on the attacking monster (max 3). Monsters lose 300 ATK for each Thorn Counter on them.

Lore:

If this card attacks a FIRE monster, destroy the monster immediately without applying Battle Damage. When this card is selected as an attack target, you can discard 1 Level 2 or lower monster to halve the ATK of the attacking monster. Once per turn, if this card would be destroyed by battle, you can halve its ATK instead. When this card's ATK becomes lower than 500, you can Tribute it to Special Summon a Level 4 or higher monster in your Hand.

When this card is Normal Summoned, return all other cards you control to their respective owner's hands. For each monster returned this way, Special Summon a "Rainbow Wing Token" (Rock-Type/EARTH/Level 1/ATK 500/DEF 0) in face-up Defense Position. These tokens cannot attack or be Tributed. Once per turn, you can equip a "Rainbow Wing Token" to this card to increase this card's ATK by 600. When this card would be destroyed by battle, you can Tribute a "Rainbow Wing Token" instead.

When this card is destroyed by battle, you can discard a FIRE monster to place a Molten Silk Counter on a monster your opponent controls (max. 1). During each of their Standby Phases, inflict 300 damage to the controller of a monster with a Molten Silk Counter on it. You can select a monster with a Molten Silk Counter on it as a Tribute for the Tribute Summon of a FIRE monster.
