Does anybody know how to apply a rainbow - colored effect on an image with gimp? Most helpful answer gets a rep!

Then you click the gradient tool, select a rainbow gradient, make a new layer, add the gradient and then set the layer on Overlay.
Well, that's what I mean, but can you explain which is the gradient tool? I am Greek, so I have the Greek version of gimp and the names of the tools are in Greek, there isn't a Gradient tool...
EDIT: Nevermind, found it... and you get a rep!
