Pokémon: Rise of Solari and Lunari(Remake)

Yes, this is a remake of my old Pokémon Fan Fic. Now that I have increased in my storytelling ability, you can now see my revamped chapters along with the previously applied characters.

[spoiler=Prologue]Many tales have been told of Legendary Pokémon that either have been awakened by a time in a prophecy, when it's injuries have been healed from being attacked millenniums ago, or if a dimensional rift opened. These were the only ways that Legendary Pokémon were awakened, until the day 2 new Pokémon, unknown to us since the day of it's prophecy, have been awakened. The great Solari, ancient Pokémon of the Sun, and Lunari, ancient Pokémon of the moon.

Around 3000 B.C., two temples lied in a desert-like area, the Temple of Solaris and the Temple of Lunaris. Both temples were contrived of special worships and specific types of Pokémon guardians.

The Temple of Solaris was contrived of worship of Solari and Fire-Type and Dragon Type Pokémon guardians, such as Dragonite, and Charizard. The Temple of Lunaris was contrived of worship of Lunari and Flying-Type and Psychic Pokémon.

These two temples had predicted that Solari and Lunari would return twice at different times through prophecy. The Temple of Solaris predicted that Solari would return in 2 specific Solar Eclipses at completely different time periods. The Temple of Lunaris predicted the same thing, but in 2 Lunar Eclipses.

The first time Solari returned was on a Solar Eclipse in 2985 B.C. A flood occurred at the moment of the Eclipse, miles back from an unnamed civilization, and a shining light appeared from the sun and landed on a sun symbol on the top of the Temple of Solaris. Solari, who looks like a combination of Charizard, Dragonite and Palkia's appearances but can speak English telepathically, walked out of the light and flew up to see the flood. Many people looked as Solari used most of his power to block the flood first and use solar energy to evaporate the water from the flood and stop the disaster. Many of the temple's people cheered for Solari as he crashed, unconscious.

Then a man named Naes Otama walked up to Solari. He touched him as many of the Pokémon cried. The tears were somehow transforming into a glowing lava-like energy that was transferred to Solari. Solari glowed orange as he began to stand up, as it is believed that the sadness, tears, and caring of the Pokémon has brought him back to life, for he was, in fact, their Savior.

Solari looked at Naes and asked, "Human, were you the one that had given more power to me?" "It wasn't just me, Solari, it was all of these magical creatures as their love for you had regained your strength," replied Naes as he saw the sun symbol on his left palm had began to glow. Solari had thanked Naes as the eclipse began to fade. As he returned to the symbol on top of the temple and said farewell, another pillar of light from the sun appeared. Solari enter the pillar and returned to his home world, just as the Solar Eclipse ended.

As Naes looked up at Solari, he saw the sun symbol on his hand began to diminish in its glow. He clenched the fist and looked at the other hand, showing a crescent moon symbol on it. "Tonight, I bring forth a prophecy that will bring forth these two and my descendant shall bring them both to an understanding." he said to himself.

Temple of Lunaris[/u]
[i]1 year later...[/i][/center]

During that night, a strange, unexplained fire happened at the moment of a Lunar Eclipse. Just like Solari, a pillar of light appeared from the moon onto the moon symbol of the temple.

Lunari walked from the pillar and saw the flames around him. Lunari has a similar appearance to Dialga, but a darker blue. Instead of glowing armor lines, they are replaced by similar yellow bars of what was seen on Regigigas, just reformed and has Navy Blue versions of Dragonite's wings. Like Solari, he could speak English telepathically, but with a higher voice compared to Solari's deep voice.

Lunari flew to the sky as he used his abilities of psychic powers to move water from a nearby river at the fire as much as possible. He then used the last of his strength to absorb the oxygen from the fire and it was put out completely and entirely. Like Solari, Lunari crashed to the ground, unconscious. And like before, Naes had appeared at the moment he used the last of his powers and walked up to him. Naes wasn't part of either temple. He lived underground by himself, coming to the surface when his parts of the prophecy have been shown and he does whatever to follow it.

Just like Solari, Naes had touched Lunari as the Pokémon began to cry and the tears began to formed energy around the both of them. Lunar energy covered Lunari as Naes let go if him and the moon symbol began to glow on his right palm. Lunari stood up as the energy began to fade. He looked down at Naes and asked, "Human, are you the one who saved my life?" "It wasn't just me, Lunari, it was all of the magical creatures as their love for you had regained your strength." replied Naes as he saw the moon symbol on hi right palm began to glow.

Like Solari, Lunari walked to a platform on top of the temple that had a moon symbol on it as the Eclipse faded and said farewell as a pillar of Light came down and returned Lunari to the moon, where supposedly his homeland is. Naes then looked at the moon symbol on his right hand and the glow had faded. he looked at both symbols and went underground.

It was his own special temple. It was hard to explain as it was too dark to see anything. But Naes knew his way around the temple since it was just one small space. Naes took his palms and placed it on a specific spot on the wall. Then the lights from the symbols created special orange and aqua colored lines of light that lead to special hieroglyphics. It showed his supposed descendant and possible friends that he has made on the special journey that he is destined to take.

Now that Naes has finished his part of the prophecy, now it is time for his descendant to bring peace to Solari and Lunari's first encounter in the next many millenniums. This is the beginning of how things will possibly end the world in the future, or make the world a better place. Maybe a third possible outcome to happen. In only a few weeks of the present time, Solari and Lunari's first encounter with the world will be nearly upon us![/spoiler][spoiler=Application]Character Name:

A boy with long, black, flowing hair at shoulder length, a red and black T-Shirt that says "Best Battler!" in graffiti form on front, dark blue skinny jeans that have been ripped slightly, and orange shoes with sky blue stripes was preparing to go to the forest to see if he can find injured Pokémon and bring them to his mom. This person was Sean Hamato, descendant of Naes Otama. His mother, Carie Hamato, was a Pokémon caretaker. When Sean found injured or sick Pokémon, he would bring it to her and see what she can do about it and how long it will take. Carie is like the Nurse Joy of the family, while Sean's father, Joshua Hamato, is a Gym Leader. Joshua left Carie when Sean was born, though, so they both don't know what town he's a Gym Leader for.

When Sean entered the forest, he began looking around. He then came across an injured Cyndaquil. It was weakly yelling out its name in attempt for calling for help and Sean came to his rescue. "Don't worry, I'll help you," Sean said to him. He slowly grabbed Cyndaquil, making sure not to scare him, and ran back to his house. "Mom, I found one!" yelled Sean. "Good, put him on the bed!" Carie said. Sean put the Cyndaquil on the bed, and Carie began to look at the damage. She saw what looked like a few bruises and and cuts. All it needed was a wrap-up in bandages and some rest. Sean sighed with relief, that it wasn't too serious, as Carie began to wrap around Cyndaquil's bruises and cuts.

Aside from helping out Pokémon nearly everyday, ever since summer vacation, Sean was having visions of what had happened so many millenniums ago. He could not understand why he is having these visions, but he will soon. Sean also is a top-notch battler when it comes to using his Pokémon. He nearly won every battle he was in. The first time Sean battled is when he had a Pikachu, much like Ash Ketchum, only Sean's Pikachu back then was shy and just wanted to make Sean happy. Now, after countless battles, he now has a Charmeleon, and a Wartortle.

Walking out of his house, backpack with him, ready to finally experience the world, a kid about 5"5', red eyes, short blond hair and a scar on his left cheek appeared before him. "Hey, Hamato!" yelled the figure. Sean stopped and looked at the figure. "Yeah?" asked Sean. "I hear you're a good battler." "So? What of it?" "I've come to disprove that." Sean smirked and put his backpack on the ground, taking out his Pokéballs that contain his Pokémon. "Let me see your experience on battling." said Sean.

Meanwhile, somewhere in the outskirts of the Sinnoh Region, a team of investigators have been researching Legendary Pokémon, learning about how each one could be captured in its own way. These investigators are known as Team Proton. Their headquarters is only a few miles away from Sinnoh where nobody can find it, as it is also in a cloaking device. The interior is of multiple labs, each researching on capture plans on one specific Legendary Pokémon. Each lab is full of computers and scientists that continuously collect data and theories on Legendary Pokémon. The one lab not built was the lab for capture of Arceus. Solari and Lunari are the newest of Legendary Pokémon, so the lab for both of them is low on data as of now. What the main focus first is the one who saved both of their lives at different times. That was Naes. But now that he is dead, these scientists are now looking for a similar energy signature to Naes. That person is Sean.

Two of those investigators, Joe Kipano and Chris Romassu, were the first to hear about Solari and Lunari. Their main goal is to capture Solari and Lunari at the moment of their reappearances and use their powers to rule over the world. If they can't do that, they will instead try to turn them against each other. The two have left in a digger to reenter Sinnoh from the underground. As they appeared in a forest, half a mile from Sinnoh's civilization, they took out energy receivers that connect with a copy of Naes's energy signature. They began to pick something up North of their destination. They began to run towards the signal. Joe and Chris then saw two people. They hid behind the trees and looked at both of them. They check both of them, and one on the left is the one they're looking for. It was Sean.

"Pikachu, I choose you!" yelled Sean as he threw his Pokéball and it opened, flashing out a creature of some sorts in a light. It then faded and showed Pikachu. "Pikachu!" Pikachu yelled. The figure smirked and said, "Let's hope he has what it takes to face me. Cubone, I choose you!" The figure threw a Pokéball of his own and came out Cubone. "Cubone, Cubone!" yelled Cubone in excitement. And the battle begins.

"Pikachu, use Quick Attack!" yelled Sean as Pikachu began to swiftly run towards Cubone. "Cubone, use Bonemerang!" yelled the figure as Cubone threw his bone at the closing-in Pikachu. "Pikachu, dodge it!" Pikachu jumped into the air to dodge the bone as it came back to Cubone. "Now, used Thunder Shock!" Then Pikachu's body glows yellow and it releases a yellow lightning bolt from its body at Cubone, shocking him and knocking him out cold.

The figure was shocked at how quickly he was defeated. "Pikachu, return!" yelled Sean as a red light emitted from his Pokéball and caused Pikachu to return into it. "C-Cubone...return." said the figure, in slight fear and shock as he had Cubone return to his Pokéball. The figure then cleared his throat and said, "Not bad. Do you ever join the Sinnoh Leagues?" "I don't have any badges as of yet, but I plan to get enough by the end of the week to enter." The figure nodded and walked away, waving. Sean waved back and began to put his Pokéballs back in his backpack.

Joe and Chris were shocked, but regained their act of confidence and believed that it was their chance to grab him and return to headquarters. Joe and Chris began to walk into Sean's field of vision as Joe slowly clapped, getting Sean's attention. "Not bad." said Joe. "Who're you?" asked Sean. "You don't need to know." said Chris. "Just come with us." "Why would I go with you?" "Because you have no choice." "W-what? What do you mean?"

"What do you mean I have no choice?" asked Sean, still in confusion. Chris lowered his head and groaned. "That's it, let's just take him and get it over with before we start doing 20 Questions!" yelled Chris as he began to viciously walk towards Sean. "Get away from me, you freaks!" Sean then began to run away. "Now, I agree with you." said Joe. "Monferno, I choose you!" Joe then took out a Pokéball and threw it. It then opened and Monferno came out. Sean jumped back and threw a Pokéball of his own. "Wartortle, I choose you!" Then Wartortle appeared. "Wartortle!" it yelled.

"Monferno, use Ember!" yelled Joe as opens its mouth and shoots bolts of fire at Sean from its mouth. "Wartortle, use Aqua Tail!" yelled Sean as Wartortle 's tail glows light blue and it spins it around, a spiral of water spiraling around it. It then flips around and hits Monferno with its tail. Monferno is knocked back, injured, but not seriously hurt. "Monferno, use Flame Wheel!" Just then, Monferno 's body becomes surrounded in fire and it starts to somersault. Monferno then rolls into Wartortle. "Dodge it!" Wartortle jumped over it and landed safely. "Now, use Water Spout!" Wartortle's body then glowed light blue, then it fires a highly concentrated blast of water at Monferno. Monferno was knocked back very far, hitting Joe, screaming in fear. They both them roll up to a tree and are both knocked out. "Wartortle, return!" Then Wartortle was sent back into his Pokéball.

"Okay, now you've done it!" yelled Chris as he clenched his fist and took out a Pokéball. "Prinplup, I choose you!" Then Prinplup appeared from the Pokéball. "Charmeleon, I choose you!" yelled Sean as he threw another Pokéball and Charmeleon came out. "Char!" yelled Charmeleon in a deep and saddening voice. Chris laughed. "You think your little fire brat can stand up to my Prinplup?" Sean smirked and made a chuckle. "Prinplup, use Bubble Beam!" Just then, the inside of Prinplup's beak glows light blue and it fires light blue bubbles at Charmeleon from its beak. "Charmeleon, use Flamethrower!" Charmeleon then released a large flame from its mouth and popped all of the bubbles, also hitting Prinplup in the process. "Now use Fire Spin!" Charmeleon then blasts Prinplup with a spiraling Flamethrower, but it spread into a ring around Prinplup and rose up above him, burning him, but not killing him. As it faded, it's shown that Prinplup has been dazed. He falls to the ground, knocked out and burned. "Charmeleon, return!" And Charmeleon returned to his Pokéball. "Prinplup, return!" And I think you know what happens already.

"Monferno...r-return..." said Joe very weakly, having Monferno return to his Pokéball. Slowly getting up, Joe began to walk towards Chris. "Don't think...you can..beat us...so easily!" "Now I'll ask again, who are you guys?" Joe and Chris then looked at each other. "Do you think we should tell him?" asked Chris. "He's going to know anyways. Might as well say it now to get it over with." The two then look back at Sean. Joe then asks, "Are you sure you want to know who we are?" "Yes! Just tell me!" "Alright..."

Then suddenly, Chris takes out a little hologram projector device and turned it on. What was shown first was the insignia for Team Proton, then it showed the inside of the headquarters, mostly the labs. Sean was amazed as to what he was seeing. "We are Team Proton, a team of special investigators that collect information on all different Legendary Pokémon." began Chris. "However, the reason is classified for ones who are not in membership." The device turned off and Chris put it away. "You, on the other hand are very special. Merely a month ago, two new Legendary Pokémon, Solari and Lunari, have been notified and researched. We still don't have any info as to their attributes, but from what we have so far, it is theorized that Solari is a Dragon Fire Type, while Lunari is a Dragon Water Type. What was also found was a special person with one orange and one blue eye with symbols of the sun and moon on their hands. His very energy signature is an exact match to yours. We now realized that he is your ancestor."

Sean was shocked at the belief. [i]Could it be true? Can I be connected to this person?[/i] thought Sean, looking at the sun and moon symbols on his arms. He was now in denial. "No, you're wrong!" he yelled in anger. "You're lying! I would never be involved in something so stupid! Ever!" Sean then ran away, tears forming in his closed eyes. [i]No, it can't be. I can't have something so fake interfere with my own life! None of this is true. It isn't! I don't believe it at all![/i] Sean continued to run as Joe and Chris stood still. "Should we go after him?" asked Joe. "We know who we have to retrieve, but our mission is to find the one with the same energy signature as the man we found out about. Let's move." Joe and Chris then run back the way they came and reentered the drilling vehicle, returning to the base a few minutes later.

Sean stopped back at his house, panting, and heard his mom call him, telling him that it's time for lunch. Sean rubbed the tears in his eyes and walked inside and ate his lunch. He then walked out again into the forest to look for more injured Pokémon. He then began to think about what Joe and Chris said to them. "I guess it makes sense with what they said." he said to himself. "But how am I supposed to know for sure? I need to know the truth and fast!" He then ran deeper into the forest to look for more information.

The prophecy of the next known Solar and Lunar Eclipses are far and very near. In the next week, Sean and two others will be going through parts of the prophecy that have been foretold and written by Naes himself to lead to the preparation of Solari and Lunari's return. There are three others that will help Sean. The first one is named Alton. Because he was mysteriously mentioned in the prophecy, he has no other choice but to help in Sean's quest of preparation, along with a boy named Ariel, and a rich mannered girl named Marian.[/spoiler][spoiler=Chapter 3: Hunger For Victory Part 1]Sean Hamato is not the only one that is prophecised to prepare for Solari and Lunari. The next person is Alton. He is 14 with short, brown hair, brown eyes, and dark tan skin. He wears alot of brown short sleeve shirts, especially blue skinny jeans. He also sometimes wears a few jeans with holes in them, but only on hot days, and sometimes cold days.

Alton was an orphan of both parents when he was 6 and lived in an adoption center for 4 years. After he moved out, he had a strange interest in Pokémon. He loved to see battles so he decided to get Pokémon of his own liking. He went to a Pokémon Center where they were given away orphan Pokémon. They were free so Alton can pick freely. The Nurse Joy there said he had to pick 3 Pokémon. That's how many he wanted anyways.

When Alton looked at the many Pokémon, he took some time thinking. When he saw the Shiny Cubone, he knew he would be the first to first of his choice. He then saw a Mamoswine, who looked at Alton cheerfully. Alton decided to pick him as his second. He looked around and didn't see what else he wanted. He then went to the Nurse Joy and said, "I can only find 2 that I would like to have." "Well, what are they?" she asked Alton. "The Mamoswine and the Cubone!" "You mean that Cubone right there?" she asked, pointing at the Shiny Cubone that Alton chose. "Yeah." "I've been waiting for someone to choose him! Since you did, you can have this Turtwig egg!" "Wow!" "And you also get this special Pichu!" Nurse Joy gave Alton the Ultra Ball with the Pichu inside. "What's so special about it?" "He can use Volt Tackle!" "Are you kidding? Awesome!" Alton had an excited look on his face. "There's more, too!" Nurse Joy went to the back and gave Alton a bag full of items. "This bag is full of items that you can use!" "Great! Thank you!" "You're welcome!" Alton got his other Pokémon in Pokéballs and he left. "Thanks for your support!" And from that point on, Alton was training his Pokémon to the fullest, feeling ready to take on the rest of the world.

When Alton turned 12, he set his mind on becoming a Pokémon Master, much like Ash Ketchum, but with different Pokémon. He began his journey by entering Kanto City. He challenged the Kanto Gym Leaders on 3-on-3 matches and won all of them within 8 months. He lost a few of them a few times and never gave up. Alton then set his journey to the Johto Regions when he turned 13. It was much harder and it took until a week before what's happening now to win all of the matches of each Gym Leader. When he won he then set his journey to Sinnoh. Of course, walking there would take 2 weeks, but he managed to make it there at the present Time Line. He has already won 2 matches of Gym Leaders. He still plans to beat all of the Sinnoh Gym Leaders and become a legend. If he does not become a champion, though, his second thought would be to become a Frontier Brain.

Today, Alton was playing with his Pichu, treating him like the dog in his life. Then the figure who battled Sean and lost walked up to Alton. "Hey, bro!" he yelled in a cheerful voice. Alton looked at the figure and made a big smile. "Oh, hey Rob!" said Alton. It turns out it was his brother Robert. You see Alton didn't last that long out on his own, so he went to his brother's house to stay there until he's old enough to take care of himself. "Here's your Cubone back." said Rob, throwing back Alton's PokéBall. Alton catches it and thanked Rob.

"So where'd you go today?" asked Alton. "I was beaten in a battle against that Hamato kid." replied Rob. "Wait, you mean Sean Hamato?" "Yeah. Did you think I was talking about his mother? Pfft." Alton rolled his eyes and asked, "So how long did the battle take?" "Uh..." Rob was stunned for a second, but nervously replied, "It...took awhile." Alton looked at Rob's expression when he said it. "You got beat in only one turn, didn't you?" Rob, now knowing he can't get away with this just replies with the truth. "Two, really." "Ooh! Tough break." "He's too good." "Maybe I can change his mind for you." "I'd rather you not. He's too difficult." "We'll see. Hm..." He smirked.

Meanwhile, in Team Proton Headquarters, Joe and Chris have been updated on info from Solari and Lunari and the people who were connected with their stories. It turns out that there were three other people with Naes; a woman named Anatola, a man named Leria, and a man named Nairam. Joe was tasked to find the one with Anatola's energy signature, while Chris was assigned to look for the one with Leria's energy signature. Taking separate flight devices, the two go into their separate directions.[/spoiler]

Appearance: Brown hair, blue eyes, blue shirt with the classic Pokeball insignia. Jeans, with two belts (one for its intended purpose, the other cuz it looks cool.), and sneakers. Mid height for his age, only very slightly tanned, and has a bookbag with his items in it. It is yellow, with only one strap hanging on his left shoulder.

Bio: He's been a Trainer for a year and a half, and still has not gotten one badge. His pokemon, Totodile and Eevee are still very loyal to him, though, because he used to help take care of Totodile at the Prof.'s Lab, and Eevee was his before he began training (pet). He has not let his failures bring him down, however. He continues train so he may one day claim the title of 'Champion'

Bio: He's been a Trainer for a year and a half, and still has not gotten one badge. His Pokémon, Totodile and Eevee are still very loyal to him, though, because he used to help take care of Totodile at the Prof.'s Lab, and Eevee was his before he began training (pet). He has not let his failures bring him down, however. He continues train so he may one day claim the title of 'Champion'

Bio: Marian comes from a well mannered rich family. Her father, unknown to Marian, was a black market dealer, catching Pokemon and sealing them for mega bucks. One day, she was playing in a nearby forest when she saw her father catch a Fearow. He stuffed it in a cage in the back of his car and drove off. Marian, bravely, had hitched a ride in the back with the Fearow. On the way, she freed it, letting it fly off. Her father arrived at a black market, and when he realized Marian was there, she realized his intentions. Marian was automatically sent back home. After telling her mother what her father did, her mother was cross and divorced from him. After that, Marian was determined to help Pokemon, the opposite of her father, and has become a reasonable trainer.
