For the record, Rua/Ruka/Aki were in the anime WAY before Crow (he didn't appear until Episode 28-29 while the rest of them came in around episodes 11-13)

But then again, Yusei/Jack/Crow are childhood friends so I don't know why they get all the screentime, but at least now the twins get some time (a bit late though)

To be exactly Crow didn't appear until Ep 30, Lua and Luka until Ep 13 and Aki until Ep 14.

But their importance in the series started to decrease since the start of season 2. The reason of this? IDK.

@Tomtekorv: Agreed, Yusei should start first for once. Or let someone else finish it up. But I suppose that because he's the "main" character, he must deliver the finishing attack every time

what a terrible team, three against one, aporia is completely out number card wise, 4000 lifepoints against 12000 points and they are half dead. i know this is a happy clappy anime where friendship beats the strongest entities in exsistance, but in this instance, Evil deserves to win just out of sheer tenacity.

From the looks of it, Aporia is using some sort of Burn Lockdown deck. He has a card that inflicts 100 during the End Phase if you dont control a Machine, a card that deals 800 if you summon, I think Lock-On Laser (last card played) deals 800 damage if you set an S/T, and he has a 3200 (boosted), a 1200 that gives something piercing, and a 1600 that halves monsters' ATK/DEF.

...didn't Sherry's Soul-Binding Gate end up being a Burn lockdown card relating to Summons? I'm seeing a pattern here.

Yeah, last two duels so far (Sherry and Aporia) have been related to giving out burn damage, so might be likely that this trend might hold true for Yusei/Dark Glass when they duel.

But let's see what Asterisk has in store for us before I get any ideas.

Yeah, basically same thing like Cubic, requires 3 sacrifices (in this case, Machine Imperial Soldiers) and can absorb Synchroes like his friends from what we have so far. [It did say that the rest of the effect was unconfirmed though, so we don't know it 100% yet]

142 should give us the rest of it if there is anything.

Yeah, the two 2 used a Burn-Lockdown strategy and related to Field Spell cards so.... will Zone play a deck with a similar strategy?

If Asterisk doesn't have any bonus effects, Aporia might as well play Infinity Cubic again since basically that's what Asterisk is, just a mechanical dragon version of Cubic.

And I must be an idiot, but I just figured out why they say "Rua and Ruka" when the ending says "Lua and Luca". It's because, in the Japanese language, the consonant "L" is never pronounced, and is replaced by "R".

Of course, Burn Decks are the best antidote against team 5D's thier cards. (Seriously 1 Dimenional Barrier and they're done for.

1) He could've just killed them
2) ZONE should've just killed them
3) Aporia could've just left them alone, and they wouldn't ever figure out how to stop the planetary gear

1) If Aporia does say "Feel Dispair", or something along those lines, then he's not following what he said he would. He said that he lost Dispair, and would only use machines.
