A trap being set back when Team 5D's had no clue about Team New World's plan should've already reminded you. xD

The episode isn't up on Youtube, but this worked for Klavier and I. So this should work for you guys too.

Anyway, this one was completely ridiculous. It was full of back-to-back counterattacks and Aporia nearly killing Yusei several times. Jack and Crow came to explain some card effects for Yusei, which was pretty cool.
- Shooting Star reached up to 9600 ATK.
- Cubic reached up to 10300 ATK.
- Grannel Top 5(YES FIVE) can absorb a Synchro Monster for an Infinity monster.
- Aporia activated Cubic's burn effect about FOUR TIMES thanks to a trap. Thankfully, Yusei saved himself.
- Yusei currently has all three Synchro Monsters on the field, due a trap's effect that has a drawback negated by Blackfeather Dragon.
I'm an avid fangirl who happens to pay close attention to all of Yugioh in general. ...At least, 5D's and the card game.

Konami didn't make the Machine Emperors complete trash, so there's hope for Cubic. Seeing as he's a boss monster though, let's just hope he doesn't get Armityle's treatment...

Lets hope he doesn't but I have a feeling your going to have tribute the 3 Emperors to summon him or something.

Also If Konami does make Cubic like Armityle he would be much easier to summon at least.

Hm, interesting episode. Obviously, Yusei's next move is to use Blackfeather's effect to reduce Cubic's ATK to 2600. As they changed the anime's effect to the Blackfeather Counters, it should also burn for 1400 damage. Then, they'll attack.

Blackfeather's 2800 vs 2600= 200 damage.
Scar-Red's 4500 vs 2600= 1900
Shooting Star's 3300 vs 2600= 700
Burn Damage= 1400

Total: 4200. Aporia LP= 4000.

Considering how "plotty" the next episode is, I'm 99% positive the duel will end next episode, first move.

I'm pretty positive neither of them have Traps left. I'd have to watch the episode again to double check. I know YUSEI shouldn't, and he should be out of options, so if he doesn't win, he'll lose.

They do this all the time. 109/110, for example. That was a good reason, but the duel still ended the following episode. The worst offender was Rua/Ruka vs Demak. They saved his LP going to 0 for the next episode, but everything else in the duel was completed. All but his LP hitting 0. Which happened at the start of the following episode.

Verified.

Yusei had 5 Traps at the start of the episode, Aporia had 1.

Aporia attacked, Yusei activated Scrap Iron (negated) and Jack's Trap. (Yusei F/Ds: 3)

Aporia set a card (2 f/ds, no hand)

Yusei used Trap to SS Scar Red and Blackfeather. Then that Continuous Trap to boost the ATK. (1 f/d left)

Aporia used one Trap to get rid of the Synchros. Yusei destroyed his Continuous Trap to end Battle Phase. Yusei set a card. (2 f/d)

Aporia drew, discarded the only card in hand (Grannel Top 5). Yusei used one of his f/ds to negate the damage from Machinicle. Aporia used a Trap to reacquire his Synchro victims and burn Yusei somehow. (Aporia: 0 f/ds, 0 hand) (Yusei: 1 f/d, 1 Continuous)

Yusei destroyed his Continuous Trap. That turn, he used his other Trap to revive all his Synchros, costing him his cards in hand. (Yusei: 0 hand, 0 f/ds)

Well, I watch the sub usually. I don't understand MOST of what's said in Japanese, aside from a few key words or phrases that usually relate to the duel. But I can't stand how the dub butchers so much of the original. 5Ds is the first time I've ever watched the subs, though, and now I can't ever go to the dub because of how awful it is in comparison. Besides, the sub has a lot of epic moments.

Really interesting episode...OMG...Kōgeki no 10300!!!
Bruno has some really serious...and creepy face in the preview. I'm disappointed that we didn't see Sherry in the preview...
I love the scene in the preview when the sky "breaks" and Arc Cradle appears...

Bold: That is because she will appear in Ep 138 not 137.

I couldn't watch Ep 136 yet for... technical problems.

I saw it, and I didn't like what I saw very much.

More Anime logic for you.
How in the hell did Yusei summon Scar-Red and Black Feather in one turn, lose them all in the next, prevent nearly 7000 worth of burn in the same turn, them bring them all back in the third turn?!

Another fine example of Anime Logic.

At least these things get subbed, so I can at least understand what they're doing.

Also, can't wait for Sherry's return. It's been... How many episodes since she got pulled into the wormhole? And of course, she's only alive because of ZONE. ME was right. If you were caught in a wormhole without some sort of protection or way to navigate, then you would be caught inbetween the rift, and be sticking the middle of a constantly changing space-time rift, which would probably royally f*** anyone up.

Of course Sherry was protected by ZONE, we saw it at the end of the Episode when she woke up and ZONE was with her.

Simple, the law of the asspulling and illogially perfect main character.

Simple.
It was a battle of the asspulls.
Aporia is quite the worthy opponent.

Have you ever noticed that in any book or show that the Protagenist Always wins?
