Shalltear Bloodfallen
inorite? And I thought Jose running and Grannel's summoning was good. This entire episode just blows them away. xD ...Wait, then why would Paradox be working with them if they were doing this because of Synch- *looks at ZONE and Dark Glass* ...Okay, Sin Paradox Dragon makes sense. Actually, I'm going to assume that they weren't the same person originally. But, when ZONE turned Jose into a cyborg, he probably fused Placido and Lucciano into his body while turning them into the same thing. Also, Lucciano was actually shown to be killed... I think. He was engulfed by a Grand Slaughter Cannon, so... Placido was never on-screen for his death. It just went to something else when he started firing at the Grannel. (Though it's fairly obvious that this got him killed.)
Indeed. I´m acctually slightly unshure on that point since they seem to imply that Paradox, along with the other people from Yliaster, (I assume) died (unless he also was a cyborg of some sort in the movie, I haven´t seen the movie so I do not know if they revealed anything specific regarding his origin except the future thing) A guess would be that Paradox just takes a slightly different approach, directly "stealing" the synchro monster and using it against the owner or other people, as a sin version. And I don´t get it, if Dark Glass was (seemingly) working with ZONE and the others, why is he trying to stop them now from doing what I thought they all wanted, saving the future? Possibly, José was mentioning Aporia before his death, and it seemed to get somekind of reaction from ZONE, bad or good, I don´t know. I mainly believe that José, Placido and Lucciano were all the same person since when Aporia told them about what happened to José after he survived all the chaos, it just seemed like a clear progression, Lucciano seeing his parents die right before his eyes, Placido later on losing a friend to the ME army. And José as the survivour, praying for someone to hear his voice in that wasteland and for a chance to change everything that happened. Though, the invasion would have had to go on for quite a while for my theory to make sense since it is atleast a couple of years between Lucciano and Placido. The subbed version will either way clear this upp, I´m certain. I don´t remember them showing Lucciano dying, only him having a Grand Slaughter Cannon fired towards him but never that it connected, he might have managed to dodge it.. (I will look up the episode again to confirm or deny this) Placido, yeah, the chances that he survived are slim to none since the canon was point blank and he would have had no time to run, not to mention that he attacked it instead of even attemptig to run, but still, no direct death or defined end means Konami can mess around with the fate of Placido and Lucciano for as long as they want and feel the need to. (Again, subbed will likely clear this up)
evilfusion
Only watched the opening so far of 135. I am blown away by the epicness of this all. Not reading posts here until I finish, though.
iCherry
@Lazaruz: I don't think Paradox was a cyborg in the movie... So let's see here: Dark Glass - More Synchro Monsters Paradox - Steals the Synchro Monsters and creates Corrupted Forms of them. Infinity Trio - Absorbs Synchro Monsters ... Wait, Dark Glass makes absolutely no sense here if this is right. Something probably went wrong in their motives, I guess? o_O Actually, I don't think I ever heard Zone say "Jose". I'm probably wrong, but I think he might've been calling him Aporia, meaning that Aporia was Jose from the beginning. I'm probably wrong here. Maybe he remembered stuff from Lucciano and Placido because they were already fused within him or something? We have no clue how long Jose would've been wandering for. It couldn't have been long though. They showed a Grand Slaughter Cannon going for Lucciano while he was screaming when his parents died. How could he have ran? Placido had one of those Avenging Hero Fits. There's a Trope for this, but I forgot which one.
evilfusion
OhmygodOhmygodOhmygodOhmygodOhmygodOhmygodOhmygod EPIC episode. Aporia is soooooooooooooooooooo cool! His voice is so awesome. Infinity Cubic is so epic and awesome...and there's a Wisel Attack 5. I didn't follow half the episode, especially none of the Jose segment since I only really recognize duel key words. But so much of the episode was full of epic awesomeness I might go crazy soon. *pant pant pant*

evilfusion
There's also a Grannel Top 3 (I'm pretty sure it's Top, since it had the same effect as Grannel Top, except less specific in activation). Wisel Attack 5...soooo cool. Maybe Skiel will get some of its pieces shown to power up Infinity Cubic. It also makes me wonder what cards Jose was running, or whether he really DID change decks during the fusion, since I can't imagine why a Grannel deck would have Wisel Attack 5. EPIC EPIC EPIC EPIC! *whine* A whole week until 136?! Grrr, must see subs of this!

iCherry
Actually, that was Grannel Guard 3. Jose probably added Wisel Attack 5 in his deck for the plan. But my question is, when did Placido get that? Skiel's parts will probably show up in 136. ...Calm down evil. xD @Ax: Cerberus D-Wheels are the best kind.
Exactly my point, Dark Glass is directly working against the other members instead of helping them. Now that you mentioned it, I can´t recall ZONE say "José" even once. And José only mentioned Aporia, either as something completely different or perhaps as his name. Yeah, I rewatched the episode with that scene and saw that. I must have forgotten that detail regarding his "encounter" with the Machine Emperors. One of the reasons why I suspect that Placido and Lucciano atleast, are connected somehow (besides the already known details). Placido appeared like he was already trying to avenge someone (or something) and basicaly went somewhat crazy when his friend died, also due to a Grannel (coincidence!), and he (once again) barely survived the attack. (This is pretty much judged on my initial theory that Placido,Lucciano and José allways were the same person in the beginning before they were made into what they are right now)
iCherry
Actually, Lazaruz, you could be right about them being the same person from the very beginning. Someone on Youtube said that Lucciano, Placido, and Jose could represent stages of his life. So I was wrong because I had honestly never thought of that. ><" Also, at 1:42 of Part 2 of the video I posted, ZONE says Aporia.
evilfusion
...that would be interesting if it were true. Stages of Jose's life, hm? Jose has been noted as reflecting on his life in reference to his teammates. He told Placido that Lucciano, like most children, is conceited and he remembers being like that, too. Lucciano remarked to Jose something about Jose being headstong/rash like Placido, to which Jose countered he outgrew that behavior long ago.
I think it´s setteled regarding if José presented himself as José. ZONE uses Aporia instead of José atleast two times (in part 2) while talking to José, as if he is reffering to José as Aporia. Once before José goes through the short story (Lucciano´s memori, Placido´s memory and then his memory), possibly asking why he has decided to do what he plans to. And again after José is finished telling the story. When I meantioned the "clear progression" earlier, I was acctually reffering to both how the will to do what José (Aporia?) planned to was born, and how I could see the kid Lucciano growing up into Placido and Placido eventualy turning into José, I only did not emphasize the latter enough. (a.k.a The stages of life). It wouldn´t surprise me if this turns out to be true, however, the gap of several years between Lucciano and Placido still disturbs me since the attack would have had to go on for several years (unless the ME army left and then later returned, or something like that) to cover the time it took for Lucciano to grow up into Placido. Regarding the gap between Placido and José. He could have wandered around for several years after things started to calm down for all we know. @evilfusion That is acctually why I started thinking along the lines of José, Placido and Lucciano all being the same person originaly since I thought it was suspicious things to say. Add it up with Aporia being a fusion of all three and no (on-screen) death of Placido and Lucciano, and it immediately seemed less suspicious and instead rather obvious. José must have apparently meant exactly what he said regarding his teammates then.
Ovedrive
I thought that this thread died...yay we are alive again =D. So...just some thoughts about 135: • Even duel runners merged and become one bigass duel runner • We seen Paradox and Dark Glass in "old" version (?) • Aporia is pretty cool character. • Why ZONE calls Jose "Aporia". it seems that Aporia was the "basic" or "main" villain and he was just separated in Jose, Placido and Lucciano. • Aporia has terrifying destruction power. • Yusei FLYEZZ WITH HIZ D-WHEELZ • This part of this duel was so...dynamic and so...uh... • I love the scene when Yusei activates Scarecrow and then tells the kid to run. • This episode was kinda short =(... • Everybody are pretty sweaty in this episode... Many thoughts tho =D Sub will confirm some of our guesses. EDIT If you watched 136 preview, the animation of that episode is pretty different of 135. Now Aporia looks more badass. evilfusion
It's not that the episode was short, it was that it was so crammed with epicness that time flew. The scene before the opening alone was a ton of epicness normally saved for the end of episodes. The slowest part was the Jose part, merely because I couldn't understand more than the occasional word. Further thoughts on the theory of the Emperors being one person originally: Lucciano, Placido, and Jose in 134 said "this is my memory". They only have parts of a past, it seems. evilfusion
Cubic is EVIL. Did you catch all its effects so far? 1- Has 4000 ATK. This also counters the weakness of the other Emperors, who have weak parts that can be destroyed to weaken the main Emperor. 2- Can Absorb Synchros and absorb their ATK. 3- You can discard any Wisel, Skiel, or Grannel part and give Cubic that effect...for how long, I don't know. 4- You can destroy the absorbed Synchro to burn your opponent for the Synchro's ATK.
