Btw...I don't know if anybody knows that:
• In TCG version of Storm of Ragnarok, Polar Gods will not be "Polar Gods".
e.g. Polar God King Thor --> Thor, Lord of the Aesir
Imo, the names are ruined. But "Aesir" in their name is nice.
Odin is now "Odin, Father of the Aesir".

Am I the only one who actually thinks these names aren't half bad?

They're not "half-bad", but they just don't compare.

Odin, Father of Aesir vs Polar God Sacred Emperor Odin

Oh, of course. I mean, Lord Of The Aesir doesn't compare to the simple Polar God King.
And Father doesn't sound as good as Sacred Emperor.

Hell, at least they didn't do something worse though.

But, Odis is not Sacred Emperor, he is just the allfather and leader. That is just fact, so I think the new names are better. Though a better name on Odin would be "Odin, Allfather of Aesir Family" or something like that. Cause he is most called allfather or just Odin

"Odin – King of the Norse Gods, God of poetry, battle and death. Chief god of the Aesir. Also known as the “all-father”, the “terrible one”, “one-eyed” and “father of battle”"

This is what is said about Odin on a website. That is a great explanation of him

I assumed that "Sacred Emperor" implied that Odin was the highest god - aka, the allfather/leader.

Yea, I think that they named him like that just cause he is the allfather. But still, I just think they should have named him different

And I also like Norse Mythology but that's just cause I live in Sweden and that's the country they come from. Plus Iceland and Norway, and Denmark and Finland

Meh, most people like thier own mythology. Except most Americans for obvious reasons.

True.

But still, The Norse Mythology is barely alive over here anymore, Christianity nearly killed it :(.

I personally like the OCG names a lot more than the anime names, mainly because the OCG names have more of a "flow" of some sort, plus they seem to more accurately describe the position Odin, Thor had among the Aesir gods.
(Not Loki since the name is ((right now)) very incorrect in my mind)

Odin, well, he is the ruler of both Asgard (a.k.a Heaven) and the other gods so the name fits him very good in my mind.

Thor was never acctually a lord but since he was the oldest son of Odin according to the mythology, I guess that would earn him a slightly higher position among the other gods and he does play a much bigger role in the myhology if you compare him to a lot of the other gods.

I do not agree with the OCG name at all there.
Loki is basically the personification of everything evil and father of Fenrir, Jörmungandr (Both who have been turned into cards and are used by Harald)
and Hell ( a person, not the place), who later became the ruler of Hell (the place)

Loki is bsically the Norse Mythology version of the devil, so I do not think he is worthy of the title "Lord of The Aesir"

And, if my memory is correct, Loki was even banished from Asgard at one point.

I still believe that ZONE sent the "Evil" Machine Emperors to destroy everything :/
That still fails to explain why the Tenors would use them.
Even if they are the "Good" Machine Emperors, why would they use them? Their Evil Replicas/Clones killed them, their loved ones, and the ENTIRE CITY.
