Noone have been poisoned. If someone have, it's you and the other ones that think the Japanese voices are better
[/quote]

The Japanese voices are often regarded as better since it is commonly how the character was intended to sound from the begining when the manga or anime was first made.

I personaly like dubbs because they make the voices much more distinguishable regarding accents and such for characters that are from other countries.
(And before you say anything Cherry, I do not enjoy the 4Kids dubb in the least so my mind is not poisoned :))

However, The subbs are often better since the voice is commonly more true to the character in the japanese version than in the english version.
Series like Code Geass and Hellsing OVA are exceptions in my mind since the dubb there outshines the original by far.
(Neither of them are dubbed by 4Kids :P)

Also, in dubbs, you commonly lose certain details that are removed before the dubb is released since there are often certain things that the company that handles the dubb, removes or edits in their material since they can´t show it on english television and/or the intended timeslot.
(4Kids is a prime example since they horribly butcher Yu-Gi-Oh((Original, GX and 5D´s)), series that I personaly think were never intended for kids, while they try to make it kid friendly)
