@Bold: As a fan of Synchros, I feel like I should say something.
But I won't.

The only thing they want is the Circuit's Completion, God's Location Revealed(More or less "Arc Cradle"), and a new future.

Acctually, I think its more of a future withouth Momentum they are aiming towards.

I remember Jose mentioning that Yliaster think Momentum is the Earths greatest mistake and they need to obliterate the whole city for it to dissapear (Since they failed the first time when they only destroyed the reactor and caused the Zero Reverse) and prevent whatever disaster Momentum will lead to in the future.

I do not remember them specifically saying that they want to get rid of synchros, only something along the lines that they think its a proof of mankind allways striving for more and more power and evolution.

Synchros I suppose are to be evidence of how humans strive to create new power and advancements for themselves, a mindset that led to the creation of Momentum, and the dangerous power it contains. Notably the Earthbound Gods. It's not the world itself they want to destroy. But they have to eliminate Neo Domino City because it has the worst instances of straying from fate. Also, almost everyone in the city runs or relies on Synchros, so by wiping them out, Synchros will no longer matter, either. Jose and Lucciano don't seem to really care about Synchros, but Placido, who is arrogant and vain, is the one who constantly reiterates how humans are weak and their fight with fate, represented by Synchros, leads them to their own doom.

Can't remember exactly what it was...
But, the emperors did say that Momentum was the problem. And Synchro somewhat represent why it happened... I think. I don't know how to put it. I forgot the details! ><

Also, the attitude Placido has that Synchros are a mistake of humans struggling to acheive more than they have a right to makes the use of the Machine Emperors, which easily crush Synchro users, all the more appropriate.

Noteable is Synchro monsters are formed from two (weaker) monsters for one big one. The Machine Emperors have effects that protect them from one big monster. Skiel Guard negates 1 attack. Wisel Guard intercepts one attack. Wisel Guard 3 does the same, but can do it twice. Skiel Carrier 5 negates one attack. Grannel we don't know much yet, but for now I expect one of the pieces prevents an attack or destruction once per turn.

These effects ensure the Machine Emperor survives a Synchro and then becomes incredibly strong from it.

To me, this implies that if duelists DIDN'T rely on Synchros and instead used normal powerful monsters, or Fusions, they could beat a Machine Emperor. But since "humans" rely on Synchros, they cannot beat the Machine Emperors.

So, Sherry WILL fight against Yusei. Maybe ZONE promised her to get back her father from death or something so She's now fighting for ZONE.

Yeah, you're right. They were so in love with synchros and they forgot about other monsters...I guess...
