Gonna BUMP dis...

I found some info about Exceed Monsters on Wikia. You remember that Numbers on the Exceed Monsters (e.g. "No. 17 Revise Dragon"), well...

The Numbers Monsters are a series of monsters whose names begin with No. According to the story of Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL, there are 99 of them, but so far, only two of them are known, both of which are Exceed Monsters: "No. 39 Aspiring Emperor Hope" and "No. 17 Revise Dragon".

And...

When Astral first appears to Yuma Tsukumo in Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL, it is revealed that he is trying to retrieve his lost memories, which have transformed into the 99 "Numbers Cards." It is to this end that Astral teams up with Yuma.

I guess this is interesting...

Meh, explains it.

Wait so his Memories turned into Cards (and ugly ones too)?
And if he lost his memories, how did he remeber that his memories turned into cards?

Yeah, they turned into cards.

Lulz, idk.

Does this mean that Yuma will have to collect all 99 of them? On Wikia, it says that he already has No. 17 Revise Dragon and Ryoga (That dude with blue hair) has No. 39 Aspiring Emperor Hope.

Actually it is on the contrary, Yuma has No. 39 Aspiring Emperor Hope and Ryoga has No. 17 Revise Dragon.

I'm still deciding wether I should actually watch it for the show itself, or thief watch it to laugh at the failure they will inevitably cause.

They can't pull a 5D's twice in a row. It'd be impossible for Konami, especially since Kazuki isn't involved with this one, nor will he be involved with the final series of Yugioh.

Though, the final series will hopefully be a revisit of 5D's called "5D's Turbo". You know, the one I've been preaching about ever since the fourth series' release was confirmed.

WHY, KONAMI, WHY?! WHY CAN'T YOU CONTINUE WITH 5D'S?!

I guess I read the text wrong.

Meh, I'm going to watch Zexal.

Yeah, I hope there will be the so called "5D's Turbo".

Because...idk, I guess they simply want to do that.

No way. 5Ds was epic.

Note: After GX was announced, people said it sounded and looked stupid. I was one of those people until I gave it a shot. It got much better later on.

After 5Ds was announced, people said it sounded and looked stupid (lots of "card games on motorcycles" jokes). I was in full agreement until I gave it a shot. It is one of the most awesome shows ever.

Zexal was announced. People says it sounds and looks stupid. I agree BUT...

I think I'll be giving it a chance, thank you.

This. I'll also give a chance to Zexal.

I found some info about duels in Zexal:
In a city in the near future, in the Heartland, kids and adults are nuts about Augmented Reality Duels. Augmented Reality Duels are Duels that use D-Gazers and D-Pads, which when the two are used together, on the ground or in the sky, monsters can erupt from buildings and fight each other, it's a Super-Charged Duel!

So D-Gazer creates virtual monsters and stuff, and D-Pad is actually a D-Disk.

Well, GX is much better than 5D'S imo, in almost every aspect.

I'll give Zexal a chance, but I have no expectations whatsoever.

EDIT: So the duels will be like duels always have been then?

Imo, 5D's is the best series 'cause it features Synchros and Riding Duels and stuff...

Yes, they will be, just with adition of D-Gazers and D-Pads. Actually D-Gazers can apparently make crazy stuff (Monsters jumpin' out of buildings and stuff).

Really? I think 5D's is the best one of all the YGO series, it has better duels and a great plot.

Okey, sounds alright, but I see nothing wrong with the classic hologram thingys.

Worst plot. By far. Too complicated, and they keep change it just to make it more confusing. The duels are cool, but nah, don't really like speed duels (forgot what they're called...), I like the traditional duel-disc battles the best.

Would be really cool to see an arena duel in 5D'S.

Debatable. GX's season 3 had a disturbingly complicated plot. Season 4 was nonsensical.

5Ds was actually doing pretty good with the plot. It's complicated, but not alarmingly so.

The question is: Do you prefer plots with no basis, or plots that have a lot of substance, but is complicated as a result?

Well, tbh, I really think that the Battle City season in the original series did a fairly good job keeping the plot consistent throughout the whole season.

I'm currently watching GX season 3 or 4, not sure really... Quest for the Rainbow Dragon/Into the Shadows is both season 3 right?

EDIT: 5D'S season 2 has almost 100 episodes. Too many. Way too many.
