I've finally decided to turn a childhood dream into a reality with this RP. Please join.

It is the year 200xx, and peace has been restored to the world. After the Cybeasts had been defeated, everyone went back to their normal lives, and time went on. It has been nearly another year now, and Lan Hikari has moved on to the 8th grade. Over time, however, more and more explorations of the Net have been made, revealing there to be even more areas to travel. One exploration went wrong, and the two Navis dooms the exploration were trapped inside a chamber in an area beyond the Undernet. When they reopened the chamber, a Dark Force rose up, and escaped into the rest of the Net. Now, Lan must save the world yet again, as he meets new Navis, and discovers the very edges of his abilities. Take your side in "Megaman.EXE, Legions of Darkness!"[/spoiler]

Bio: Lan Hikari is a teenage boy who loves to eat. He had a twin brother who died of a heart disease. After Lan grew up, His father, Dr. Hikari created Megaman, a Net Navi who was able to feel emotion, as he was made from data taken from Lan's dead brother, Hub. Lab made many friends after Megaman, a few of which being Mayl and Roll.EXE, Dex and Gutsman.EXE, and Yai and Glide.EXE. Lan was faced with danger after danger, stopping all sorts of viruses on the Net. He and Megaman confronted the WWW during the vets of BN 1, Stopping the Life Virus. Afterwards, he was then confronted by Grave, and first encoutered the one who would become their greatest rival ever, Forte (Bass). The original Forte transformed into Gospel, a super virus derived of bugs. Megaman and Lan stopped Gospel, and Sean, the leader of Grave, was captured. Lan then continued his life with his friends. Months later, the WWW rose up again, this time trying to revive the purge of the Net, Alpha. Forte was used by Wily, the leader of the WWW, but Lan and Megaman stopped them both. After defeating Alpha, Megaman Self-Destructed after performing a Full-Synchro with Lan, and was deleted. Later, Megaman was rebuilt, and Lan moved into 6th grade. Lan moved on from the Alpha incident, and entered in the Den Tech Tournament. Later, he entered in two more Tournaments, and was sent off to NAXA in order to fight a new evil, Nebula. Lan and Megaman fought with the Judge of Planets, Duo. After a long and greuling fight against him and Megaman's own Dark side, Duo left Earth, and gave it a future. The leader of Nebula, Dr. Regal, leapt off of the NAXA building, and went missing. After a couple of months passed, Nebula struck again, taking control of the Net. Lan teamed up with two Net-Navis, and their Net Operators, Baryll and Colonel, as well as long-time friend Chaud Blaze and Protoman. They infiltrated the Nebula Base, and fought Regal again. Lan and Megaman fought with Nebula Grey, and Megaman fought the Dark Power within himself, temporarilly transforming into Hub, Lan's brother. After the base was destroyed in a volcanic eruption, Lan was moved to Cyber City, where he made new friends. Lan was also confronted with the WWW for the last time. Lan was forced to stop the two Cyber Beasts, which nearly destroyed the Net. Megaman forced one into his memory to stop the WWW from getting it, allowing him the Beastout Ability. After defeating the Cybeasts, Colonel, and his sister, Iris, fused together to destroy the other one, which lay inside Megaman. In order to accomplish this, they self-destructed. Lan told Baryll of what had occured, and Baryll went missing. Lan moved back to ACDC Town, and graduated from Elementary School. Now, a year has passed, and Lan will once again fight another evil.
Personallity: Lan is competitive, loves to eat, and protects his friends. Whenever Lan sees something that he thinks is cruel or wrong, he fights to destroy it.

Appearenece: Neo has thick, black hair, wears a brown jacket, and a black shirt. Wears black jeans, black shoes, and wears glasses.
Bio: Neo was an orphan who was abandoned as a child. He traveled throughout the world attempting to find a purpose for his miserable life. He found his Navi, Stormman, while trying to find shelter in a blizzard he encountered in Sharo. Stormman provided a way through the blizzard, guiding him to an airport. He payed what little money he had left to travel to Netopia in search of his purpose. He found Megaman and Lan, and decided that his purpose was to help him. From then on after, he followed Lan where ever he went, providing help from the shadows, though only once, when Megaman had been taken over by the Darkpower. 
Personallity: Neo is calm, and doesn't get frightened easily. He does seem to have a short temper, though.

Lan was on the Net as he usually was, getting some data for a school assignement he was doing. Lan sighed. "Man... I remember when I had the time to go onto the Net and just have fun... Well, I knew I was gonna have to make some changes." Lan looked down at his desktop computer. "How's it coming along, Megaman?" An image of Megaman appeared on the screen. "I just finished, Lan. We should have everything that we need to finish now." Megaman replied. Lan slouched back in his chair a little. "That's great, Megaman. Thanks. Alright, Jack Out, Megaman." Lan held up his PET to his desktop, and Megaman was transferred to it. A few hours passed, and Lan had finished his assignement. "Uh... This should do." Lan piled together a few papers, and stuck them into his backpack. "Alright, it's still light out!" Lan went back over to his desktop, and pulled out his PET. "Jack in, Megaman, Execute!" Megaman transferred into the desktop. "Alright Megaman, let's go find some viruses to fight." Lan said to Megaman. Megaman agreed, and he started searching the Net. Megaman made his way to the depths of the Uranet (Undernet), and Went to the statue of the two Cybeasts. "Almost a year and a half have passed since the Cybeast incident in Cyber City..." Megaman thought. Suddenly, a few viruses appeared. They were Mettaurs, which weren't unusual in the Uranet, but were seemingly out of place. Megaman turned to face then. "Megabuster!" Megaman's arm transformed into a small cannon-like gun, and fired it at the Mettaurs. One was deleted instantly, but the other two stood strong. "Lan, I need a Battle Chip." Megaman said to Lan. LAN pulled out a small chip from a pack attatched to his waist. He put the chip into the slot on the side of the PET. "Alright Megaman, here you go! Longsword and Widesword, double slot in!" Megaman's arms became two different swords, and Megaman started swinging them at the Mettaurs. One got hit, but the other one jumped away. The one that did get hit was deleted. Now there was only one left. The Mettaur was suddenly deleted, and a sharp, white beam shot through it. A Scuttle had appeared. Lan pulled out three more battle chips, and prepared to put them in. "Megaman, be careful. That thing has a powerful aura around it. I'm sending you something to break through it." Lan put in the three chips. "Elecsword, Bamboosword, Firesword, Aquasword, Quadruple Slot In!" Megaman's arm changed once more into a glowing, rainbow sword. "Program Advanced! Element Sword!" Megaman jumped at the Scuttle, and slashed it four times. The first was deflected by the aura, the second brought down the aura, the third damaged it, and the fourth sent it flying backwards. "Alright Lan, we have it on the ropes!" Megaman said to Lan. "Alright Megaman! Now, Soul Unison, Search Soul!" Megaman changed form. Army-type armour formed around him, and his arm changed into a sniper-rifle. His head was covered by a helmet, with a scanner attached. "Target, lock on! Scope Blaster!" Megaman fired a shot at the Scuttle, and it took a direct hit. It was deleted. "Alright Lan, we did it. Nice job." Megaman said to Lan. "Alright Megaman, that's enough for now. Let's get some rest. Jack out." Lan transfered Megaman back to the PET, and went to bed.

-MEANWHILE-

Neo was watching over a small computer somewhere in a large cavern. "Have you found it yet?" Neo spoke into his PET. "No... It doesn't seem to be here. Maybe we should check Cyber City for it." A voice replied. "Well, did you find anything at all?" Neo asked. "Yes, I did. I found a few of the Darkchips that survived the purge, and remains of another Navi, although... It's powerful. I can tell that this navi beared the power of the Chaos Lord. It isn't as loose as Nebula Grey was, but it isn't so concentrated as the Darkside form... Though I can't believe that it would be him..." The voice explained. Neo pushed a button on his PET, and started to walk away. "Lets keep that data. Perhaps we can find someone who can use it later..." Neo said. A helicopter was waiting for him outside. He grabbed a ladder hanging down from it, and it carried him away. "HQ, this is Commander Neo. Returning to base. Repeat, Returning to base."

[Zextra]

Protoman was surrounded by countless viruses. "Ugh, there are so many of them, and they appeared in an instant... Why?" Chaud thought. "Well, there's no point in complaining now...Protoman, let's roll... Delta Ray Edge! Slot in!" With that, Protoman's arm was replaced with a sword with a glowing, reddish-pink aura. "Now, strike!" In an instant Protoman disappeared and reappeared leaving a pinkish V-shaped crest as the result from its attack. All the viruses on one side of him were gone. "Now, to deal with those other ones... Custom Sword, Slot In!" Chaud called, inserting another battlechip in his PET. A orange and white sword with sharp edges took the place of Protoman's other arm. "Wait for it...now, slash!" Protoman stood still, then charged into battle, slicing the viruses right up. "Alright, that's enough, Protoman. Jack out" he said, calmly. "However, I don't understand what that was all about. Maybe I should message Lan" he thought, as Protoman reappeared in his PET. "Excellent work, Protoman" he said. "Anything for you, Chaud" Protoman replied. "Protoman, I need you to send this to Lan" Chaud declared as he moved a file from his PET into the email app. "Of course" Protoman said as he disappeared.

-MEANWHILE-

Corey was walking through the raining streets, cold and weak. "What do those guys want with me?" he thought to himself. He looked into his PET, where his NetNavi, Fermata stood. "I don't think its what they want from you, but rather what they want from me" he said. "However, they do seem to want your power to be able to control me" he added. "But I don't think they're going to find us for a while" he explained. "You see, I've put a presence hider on myself. Though I may not be able to use my full powers until I remove it, they won't suspect too much as of now" he continued. "I sure hope you're right" Corey said weakly as he sat down against a telephone pole, where he closed his eyes and fell asleep.

[VGVentus]

A white Navi with black hair and green eyes watched the Netspace as E-Mail and viruses moved from point A to B, he sighed as he slowly lifted his hands up. He used to be a god of the Netspace, people worshiped him and looked to him for advice, he was a kind ruler...And yet he was punished by the NetNavi, who came and locked him away simply because he exsisted! However, he was freed from his slumber, and now he wanted revenge! The Navi clenched his fists, and below him, the Netspace crumbled, E-mails and viruses fell into a chasm of distorted data. Very few NetNavi managed to escape the distortion, and fell into the chasm, disipating!

The Navi declared alould, "Fear me NetNavi! Your time has come! I, Dex*Blank, have been freed from the dead server and now I will extract VENGANCE!!"

[Dementuo]

Neo had arrived back at his base. Something was happening. Alright... I guess I'd better check it out. Jack in, Stormman, Execute!" Inside the Net, a navi appeared. He was wearing a long golden colored cloak, and had a helmet which resembled two thunderbolts. He looked a lot like Forte, only with more electric-type armour. He also had a small pole sticking out of his arm. "Ok, Neo. I'm in. I can already see the disturbance, I'm going to- whoa!" Stormman jumped up to avoid thelarge hole that appeared. "Uh... I need to be careful... Let's see... There!" Stormman found a navi a little ways away, and he rushed to confront him.

-MEANWHILE-

Megaman had received a notification from the Net Saivors, and a letter from Chaud. Megaman read the notification first. It was about the giant hole that had appeared in the Net. Megaman forgot about the letter from Chaid for the time being. "Lan, wake up!" Lan stirred around for a minute, then got up. "Ugh... What is it, Megaman? Is it so important that you have to wake me up in the middle of the night...?" Lan asked. "Yeah, it is! Now hurry up and Jack me in! The Net is being destroyed!" Lan perked up. "What?! Alright Megaman, let's go! Jack in, Megaman, Execute!" Megaman appeared in the Net. He rushed through the eroding Net, and came to a point where he could see one navi a ways away, moving towards another navi on Megaman's other side. "I wonder what they're up to..." Megaman thought.

[VGVentus]

Dex*Blank turned towards Stormman, quickly analysing the NetNavi. "Ah! You must be the young and skilled NetNavi who comes along and tries to defeat me, beliving I'm nothing more than a mere virus...", The white Navi then chuckled, lifting his hand into the air, "...I'm nothing like a Virus!"
Dex*Blank shoved his hands into the ground, sending a large wave of distorted data in all directions...

[Serenity the Candyman]

Looking around, Steve noticed that once again that there was some strange things happening. There was no one outside for him talk to. Feeling that one day he will find someone in this town and acutually meet them seemed imposssible right now but he will one day. Heading back into his home, he pulled out his PET. "You ready, Sunstar?" he said, seeing a blank screen on his PET. Immediatly a figure of a head appeared. "Now? What happened to actually going outside?"
it said. "No one was out there. Besides, I'd rather be here." Steve said, hoping the subject would change. "Fine," said the Net Navi, "Lets do this..." "Alright Sunstar, Jack IN!, Execute!" Immediatly Sunstar was in the Netspace and looked around. "So the usual?" it said, already knowing the answer. "What do you think? Let's go and find some Viruses!" Sunstar looked around for about 5 minutes when he spotted a lone Mettaur. "Alright time for you to be deleted."Said Steve, "alright Nova Strike Blade, slot in!" Sunstar's right hand was now a beam of pure light. As soon as the Blade hit the Virus, Instead of being deleted, it was absorbed by the Blade, causing Sunstar to recover a little Stamina. "Alright, onto the Next!"

[Dementuo]

Stormman held out his hands. "Life Aura!" A purple aura surrounded him, fending off the attack. It faded shortly after. "Damn... So this must be Rauraike's incarnation, which means... This has to end quickly..." Stormman thought. "Neo, you know that to do." Stormman said to Neo. "Alright, here it comes!" Neo pulled out five battle-chips, though they were colored a dark red. "Thunder Force, Maelstrom, Bug Wave, Element Sword, Sol Shield! Full Slot in!" Immediately, Stormman's arms changed. In one, he had a sword which glowed yellow. In the other was a small cannon. He was then struck by a bolt of lightning, which formed into a green aura around him. Then, surrounding the green aura was an orange one. Lastly, a large thundercloud appeared near Dex*Blank. "Now, Maelstrom... Release!" The thundercloud let out a massive bolt of Lightning, and Stormman lunged towards Dex*Blank, sword and cannon raised.

-MEANWHILE-

Megaman was watching from afar. "Whats going on?! The net's being destroyed, and those two navis are fighting! I have to stop this, but I'm not sure what I can do..." Megaman thought.

[Serenity the Candyman]

Sunstar noticed a disturbance in the air. "Steve....Something isnt right. I suggest we head over there as soon as possible." " Good idea," siad Steve. " Maybe whatever is disturbing you might not be exactly friendly to the Net." Sunstar headed towards the direction of the disturbance and finally found 2 Navis fighting while one watched unsure what to do. "Sunstar, we can stop this fight! What ever is causing this fight is having effects on the other Navis in other areas of the Net. Find out what it is and ill activate Energy Senser. Pulling a battle-chip, Steve exclaimed" Energy Detection, slot in! Immediatly Sunstar could the make-up of all Net Navis in this area, Revealing one of those fighting was in fact a virus. "Alright," Sunstar said, " Viruses have nothing on us."

[Zextra]

Chaud looked at his PET. "It's been hours, and Lan hasn't sent a reply" Chaud thought. "Maybe they're occupied with something...nah...Lan, occupied? In the dead of night? Seems unlikely" he muttered. "Anyhow, we'd better patrol the net" Chaud said to Protoman as he pointed it at his computer. "Jack in, Protoman! Execute!" A red beam transferred from his PET to the jack-in port. Protoman appeared on the net. He was shocked to see what the net had become. "Chaud, sir! The net rapidly losing its data!" Protoman shouted as he watched two NetNavis fight. "And on top of that, there are two NetNavis with enormous power fighting in the middle of the area!" Protoman further informed. "Oh, no...Protoman! Connect into a live video chat with Lan, now!" Chaud declared. "On it" Protoman immediately replied. "Hello, Lan? It's me, Chaud. Are you on the net right now? What do we do about the destruction of the area?" he asked.

-MEANWHILE-

"Corey! Wake up!" Fermata shouted. Corey slowly opened his eyes, and took out his PET. "Huh...Fermata? What's...wrong?" he asked, coming to his senses. "There seems to be a massive fight going on in the net. You have to jack me in!" Fermata explained. Corey wiped his eyes. "Got it" he replied. He pointed his PET at the telephone booth he was near and shouted, "Jack in, Fermata! Execute!" A majestic, shining blue navi appeared in the net. "We have to calm them!" Fermata shouted. "I know! Sanctuary, Slot in! Download!" Corey shouted. Fermata let loose a glowing white energy orb and it rested itself on the ground, spreading to the battlers' feet, covering the ground around the two battlers with a blissful aura.

[VGVentus]

Dex*Blank sidestepped Stormman and fired a wave of data straight at the Navi, he staggered as Fermata's attack hit him. "...Looks like there's more of you cretins!" Dex*Blank growled, turning to Fermata, "You can calm NetNavi eh? What a useful ability...However, my hatred for you abominations is too strong!"
Dex*Blank clenched both of his hands, firing a bubble that started to distort the Net, it quickly began to expand...

[Serenity the Candyman]

"Sunstar, get ready to attack that bubble. Dual Nova Strike Blades, Speed Boost: Double Slot in!" Immediadtly the hands of Sunstar became blades on energy and Sunstar race towards the bubble. As soon as the bubble was hit by the blades, it started to glow and shrink while Sunstar was eyes where glowing as well."Now this is some potent power!" Sunstar Exclaimed as his body started to glow as well, like a star. " Great job, Now when it is fully absorbed, attack that virus with its own power!" said Steve, with the vigor of a true warrior.

[VGVentus]

Dex*Blank stopped, his eye suddenly twitched as he remembered something from his past. [i]Virus! Virus! Virus! Virus![/i], [i]No...No...NO![/i]. The white Navi almost lost his composure, he managed to keep in control and corrected the NetNavi before him, "I'm not a virus, I'm a Navi, the first I may add...How dare you patronise me...Tell me, what server did you originate from? White? Red? Black? It's not a hard question..." Dex*Blank held his arms to his side, signalling he wasn't going to attack...

[Zextra]

"Well, that's a relief" Corey thought as he saw the navi stop its assault. "Alright, Fermata...Jack out..." he called, as the shining, blue navi disappeared in a flash of white light. "Well, that's that..." he thought. "I'd better keep moving" Corey got up and started walking into the night.

-MEANWHILE-

"He's still not picking up..." Chaud thought, disappointed. "Alright, Protoman, let's get to the Navi Battle Simulator" Chaud said, sending Protoman into the BlazeQuest computer database. At that minute, digital clones of Magnetman, Searchman, and Thunderman appeared. "Ready, Protoman? Custom Sword, Slot in!" he called, sliding a Battlechip into the slot of his PET. A glowing, orange sword appeared, as it deflected a giant magnet coming from Magnetman. "Alright, Bamboosword, AquaSword, FireSword, Elecsword, Slot in! Program Advance, ElementSword!" Protoman brandished a glowing sword with a rainbow-colored aura around it, and swung a giant slash at Magnetman, who was hit by the rainbow-colored shot. It vanished. "Good work, Protoman. Now, for these other two...."
