[OOC= Ya know, since being left out is not my thing, you guys can feel free to incorporate me into the story ;) [sub][sub]Plus, I want to have a ship on ship battle...[/sub][/sub] ]

One giant flash later, and The Torchlight came out of Quantum Jump. Fara' leaned forward in his seat.
"What is our position?" He asked, pondering what to do next.
"We are about 56Lm inside the Hyperion system."
"Hyperion? Huh, thats a few Lm away from Ka'ar. Set course for that planet." He said, content with his decision. The engines of The Torchlight began to hum softly, as the ship began to change course. Fara' turned on the intercom.
"Attention everyone. Once we reach planet, you are all on leave. Make sure to be back on ship after 3 Solar cycles, sober, and ready to work."
The ship was within view of the planet, he remembered something. He sat up.
"Stay on course. I am going to the docking bay." He left the room, and, after a short walk, reached the bay. He caught the attention of the engineers in the room.
"Did you manage to scavenge anything from that ship we captured?" He asked, looking over their work.
"We've been lucky there," One engineer said, "So far, we have found 500 credits, a quantum engine, and this strange chip." He finished, handing the chip to Fara'. He looked over it.
"Sell the rest of the ship as scrap. I'm bringing this with me." He told them. He walked back to the captains seat, and examined the chip, as the Torchlight got closer to Ka'ar.

"What the-" Akkoro gasped as suddenly the floor gave way beneath him. He was falling all of a sudden, and Akkoro could see the floor of the spaceport maybe twenty feet begin to open beneath his feet. He would survive the drop, but I't would be nearly impossible to get back into the Star Rose. No, he could not let that happen. Akkoro began to run down the cargo hold, dodging containers left and right, as the floor grew ever more open. There- the exit! But Akkoro wasn't going to make it. The floor had almost disappeared from beneath his feet. Akkoro jumped into the air in one desperate last attempt, and was rewarded with his fingertips closing around the doorframe of the hull door. He just hung there for one precious second, calming his beating heart while trying not to looking into the void beneath. Then he took out another concussion bomb and planted it against the door, then activated it. Akkoro had just enough time to flip himself to the side of the doorway before a explosion claimed where he had been hanging before. Coolly, Akkoro swung back into the ship and found himself in a cramped hallway. And- he was not alone.

Again.

A pulsar pistol found Akkoro's hand and he pointed it and the armor-clad figure before him.

"How do you do, Lepidtra," He said, then he fired.

[OOC: If you guys are gonna make a new planet, give a brief description on what it looks like, cause I'm gonna go to one that Wuu made. But I don't know what it looks like. So I'm gonna gez.]

The Torchlight breached the atmosphere, causing flames to envelope the hull. While the shields flared, the hull immediately cooled as it left the atmosphere. Fara' looked down at the planets surface. He could see the main star port of this industrial wasteland.
"Docking procedures initiated. Bottom engines activated, full power. Engines 1 through 4 off." Various Crew members began blaring. The Torchlight made contact with the dry dock, causing the surrounding area to shudder.
"Alright, everyone. Have fun doing what you want. Remember what I said earlier." Fara' said, getting up and leaving the Bridge with the direct purpose of going to the lab. He walked through some darkly lit hallways before turning into what might be the most inconspicuous room ever. He say Dr. Onrai, a female human who is the main scientist on the Torchlight. She just noticed he had walked in.
"Hello, Captain." She sighed, obviously busy.
"Hello, Doctor. I need you for something." He said, revealing the chip from his pocket. Onrai saw it and immediately took interest. She snatched it out of his hand and started examining it.
"Its...its...hmm...I don't know what this is," She said, "Give me a few hours and I will give you my results." She finished, as Fara' was walking out of the room.

"So he got past that," Tim muttered, as the cargo drifted downwards. The move did get some attention however, and the spaceport's officials sent out a couple of shuttlecraft to contain the discharged cargo. He'd have to pay for it later, but it wasn't as though they couldn't afford it. Now, back to the matter at hand, he grabbed what seemed to be a gas mask with an oxygen supply on it, and hurried off in pursuit of the intruder.

The armour-clad figure had a weapon of it's own, and opened fire in return, but it didn't move, and so was blown apart in a spray electronics.

"He's cold-blooded then," ANNA noted, back in the main engine room, several sections away from the hold. Lepidtra seemed to shrink, as much as a suit of armour with a fixed size can shrink, at the sight of the decoy - which she had noticed this person had apparently mistaken for her - being simply shot at without a second thought. ANNA seemed to have an idea of something, and began searching through some storage units.

Tim reached the far end of the hold just in time to see the decoy being destroyed. He was caught by a surprise for a moment, but saw the electronics and was satisfied. He held a pistol and shoved it into the neck of the Alphyn.

"Don't move," he warned him, "I just want a little chat. Who are you, and why are you here?"

Fara' was checking his mission log, looking for any clues. He has been to several sectors in the galaxy, all of them in random places. And yet, he feels that the are connected some how. Just then, the intercom crackled to life.
"Captain, could you come down to the lab. I have something to show you." He heard Dr. Onrai say. He sighed and sat up, deactivating and setting down his intercom in the process. He walked down to the lab, only to find Onrai staring at a small green male figure standing on the chip. Fara' immediately took interest, fascinated by the figure.
"What is it?" Fara' asked.
"If you haven't figured it out by now, this is an AI system."
"An AI? But I've never seen this type before!"
"Neither have I." Dr. Onrai said, while examining the chip.
"Did you check the DOM (Date of Manufacturing)?" Fara' inquired.
"I did. And thats just it. It HAS no DOM. It was either hand-made or had the DOM rubbed out."
"I was hand made, if that sheds some light on the subject," The male figure said, in a stereotypical british accent, "And would you be so kind as to call me Jeremy, which is my official title?" Dr. Onrai and Fara' stood, mouths gaping.
"Well, thats a new feature." Onrai said, picking up the chip.
"Of course I can talk! Do I look like one of those brain-dead AI that do simple functions such as creating ships? I have an IQ rivaling the most intelligent scientist in the known Galaxy!" He boasted, irritated at their lack of knowledge about him.
"I'm sure you do. But for now, we have been needing an AI. Would you be interested?" Fara' asked.
"Assuming that you won't let me go if I say no, I will take up your offer." Jeremy said, sighing.
"Good to have you aboard!" Said Fara', who picked up Jeremy's base chip and walked away.
"But AI's can't go anywhere by themselves anyway..." Mumbled Dr. Onrai after they walked away.

"Alright." Akkoro raised his hands in surrender. I'll tell you what you need to know." He turned to face the human, and as he did, he dropped a metal cylinder. There was a bright flash of light as the shock grenade went off, blinding everyone around. Akkoro instinctively dropped to one knee to avoid the gunfire, then pushed his gun into Tim's side and blindly fired. He didn't stick around to see if he had actually shot the human, careening down the hallway by feel of hands and feet alone, still too blind to see around. He was getting worried. These crew members had proved a lot stronger that he had expected, and he was fast running out of weapons...There! Akkoro felt a door in his hands. He shoved it open and heard himself surrounded by the whirr of machinery. Could this be...the engineering room? Would he finally be able to get his hands on the data he wanted? Or had he gotten himself into a worse situation? Still blinded, he couldn't tell...

OoC: You decide, Time Psyduck. Has Akkoro finally reached his destination? Also, I don't mean for Akkoro's attack to have killed Tim. Just make it wound him or have him deflect it.

Tim groaned as he pulled himself upwards. Stopping a weapon blast wasn't too much of a problem, but doing it at such close range meant he still felt a good deal of the force of the blast anyway. "Where is he?" he asked into the communications device in his breathing apparatus.
"He's just gone into the second engine room," ANNA replied, "Lep and I are both in the primary room, so we're OK, but he could do a lot of damage in there."
"I'm on my way over there," Tim replied, "you two stay put."
"Understood." ANNA turned to her companion. "I'm going. He was trying to hide it, but he was injured. I'm not as important - if something happens to me, my memories are recorded, so I can come back." The Diusianx merely nodded in response. "Deactivating program. Reactivate in Engine Room 2." The hologram winked out of existence.

A second later, she reappeared, to see a strange helmeted figure in the entrance to the room. Quickly, she picked up a spare metal rod and swung it at the figures head, aiming to break the helmet.

Tim staggered up the corridor. A moment after he'd contacted the engine room, he'd done so again, to get Lepidtra to open the doors as he passed. Finding that the ship's AI had decided to go and face the intruder, he was now rushing to catch up in time.

Lars quickly understood that the Alphyn male that the human was talking about was Centaurion, and without caring about the other human he jumped into the ship. He didn't see anyone, but he could hear voices.

"Hello!?" He yelled, looking around. "Is anybody in there? I just wanted to check so that I know if anyone is going to shoot me in the back at any minute!"

As he spoke he clicked a button on his suit, which activated a device that would detect any life that came close enough. He continued to sneak through the ship.

It was a simple problem for Akkoro to fix, once he had registered the danger of the AI. Ducking the rod thrust, he thrust out his gun and fired- not at ANNA, but at the device behind her that fuzzily appeared in his fast-returning eyesight.

The hologram projector sparked and fizzled, taking the AI down with it.

Akkoro smiled. It was a good thing he had done his studying, or he would not have recognized the AI projection unit ANNA used to access various parts of the ship. Turning on his heel, he walked over to one of the engineering consoles. He quickly booted it up and hacked it in the same manner he had hacked the door. Now, here was the crucial part. Tense, Akkoro entered a small datachip into the console and stood back, waiting for the little device to do it's work; to find and copy all relevant data the Pirates wanted. All Akkoro could do now was wait for the datachip to finish working- unfortunately, waiting was one of the things Akkoro was not good at. Then, it got the best of him. Feeling jumpy, Akkoro raised a communicator to his mouth and entered a number, then said,

"Jessi, this is Centaurion. I need backup ASAP."

Elsewhere...

Jace groaned and clutched his stomach. Man, that last fire-drink had not been good to him. It was a wonder Jace had gotten out of the bar, let alone start walking back to his ship under these conditions. Groggy, grumpy and throughly sick, Jace did not pay attention to the wonders of Plutus as the transport ship slowly took him up to his docking platform. All he could concentrate on was keeping his lunch down. Hopefully Sparks was in better conditions and could help him recover- they had a big job tomorrow, the transport of a couple M'rie'au to some planet called Ka'ar. He had to be at tip-top condition for that. Jace looked out one of the transports windows and almost cried of relief. They had almost reached his platform.

ANNA reappeared alongside Lepidtra. "He got the projector," she explained, "I'm sorry...huh?" ANNA was connected to the main computer core, and was sensitive to the flow of information in and out of it. Thus someone downloading data from the computer memory banks, even if they were trying to cover their tracks, was actually rather obvious. "He's trying to download data from the computer!" she exclaimed, dashing to a nearby console, where she began to push keys, working out what he was taking and locking down similar files before they were copied.

Tim's communicator came to life. "The intruder's downloading files from our flight logs," ANNA explained, "in particular those our flights near Wild Space."
"Thanks. Are you all right?" the pilot asked.
"Yes. I couldn't do anything; I'm sorry."
"Forget it," he replied, reaching the door, which was open. He walked in and aimed his gun at the console.
"So all you wanted was flight data?" he asked, tensing his finger on the trigger, "you do realise you could have asked, don't you? It would have saved both of us a lot of time."

Lepidtra, meanwhile, had found something else - another figure, moving around in the front of the ship. She activated a wall-mounted communication unit in the same section. "Who's there?" she demanded, her voice echoing through the corridor.

Don't be naïve, Tim." Akkoro snapped, realizing how bad the situation was. "I'm not here just for the data. I'm also here to take it away from you. But before you deal with me, I suggest you deal with...him!" Akkoro pointed up on the monitor, where a figure could be seen sneaking around. It was a security feed. "That man will kill everyone on this ship. Everyone. And not with a blaster, either. He will blow this entire ship up if he has the chance." Akkoro decided to leave out the part where the Skreech was ultimately gunning for him. "I have attached another bomb to this room. I am willing to deactivate it and leave in peace with my data as long as you deal with that man. If not..." Akkoro kept his face expressionless. "I will kill us all."

"You must also tell your AI to stop locking down files."

Jessi, who were currently located in a bar in the same city, was busy drinking when she got the message.

"Oh, hello there. So the little fishman needs help. I'll give him help!" She spoke with a creepy and hoarse, but yet seductive tone. Moments later she stood outside the Star Rose and looked at the open door, and the knocked out human. "It's not like Akkoro to use violence. Oh well." She heard a message played inside the ship.

"My name is Lars, and I'm a Skreech out to capture/kill Centau-" He didn't finish the sentecne. Instead he turned aroudn to face what he thought was Akkoro, but it was the other assassin.

"You're too hasty, Lars." Jessi said, and although it couldn't be seen she was smiling. She held out her hand. "I honestly didn't expect to run into you here. Who're you after this time?"

"Centaurion!" Lars said, loudly. "And you won't stop me, Jessica!"

"Oh! I'm sorry, but I can't allow you to capture him. He's important to me!" She said, almost jokingly.

"There's only one way to settle this!" Lars said, and his suit's torso unpacked into the guitar. So did Jessi's.

"Tehe."

((A Skreech Rock Off is about to commence. Judging by the fact that the Skreech uses their music as weapons, you should be careful. I take no responsibility for the eventual destruction of the Star Rose.))

Tim paused. The situation was a dangerous one. The Skreech who was outside was now aboard, and whilst he didn't trust the person in front of him, the other intruder was even more of an unknown quantity. Certainly, both would be a problem, although at present the second intruder was outside the deadlock and so not an immediate threat. So he would simply have to deal with this one, who was claiming to have planted a bomb in the room. Judging by his words however he also wanted to remove the data from the computer core, which was something he wasn't happy about.

"You are my enemy," he told the Alphyn in front of him. "What reason do I have to trust to your judgement of this person?" Come on ANNA, he thought.
"I've copied the files I locked and conducted a hardware separation," she told him, so quietly that Tim could barely hear, let alone anyone stood any distance from him.
"Still," Tim continued, "I believe we can reach a compromise. I will detain that person here for five minutes, if you disarm your bomb and leave. ANNA," he added, "remove the lockdowns."

Lepidtra was worried. Another person had entered the ship, and being at this end Tim couldn't deal with them. It was up to her. She hit a switch, and an alarm went off in the section where those people were. This time, her voice was much more audible.
"Would all persons forward of the main hold please report their identities and purpose?"

"Actually..." Akkoro glanced at the console. "I think my situation has been resolved. One of my...friends...has shown up. Which means..." Akkoro smiled, showing off teeth filed to a point. "You've become irrelevant. I have the information I need, and I was instructed to get rid of you anyways. Goodbye, Mr. Jones." Akkoro dropped the last shock grenade he had, and then shot anyway to the door at the other end of the room. He had only closed that door behind him when the grenade went off. "Jessi," Akkoro spoke urgently into the communicator. "Take care of Lars quickly. You need to get off this ship NOW." Using the map he had memorized of the ships' layout, Akkoro guided himself back to the cargo hold. He opened it and fearlessly jumped the twenty-feet drop, landing on top a shocked Inspector. A single blast ended the poor Inspector's life and Akkoro dashed away from the Star Rose. It was only when he was at a safe distance when Akkoro pressed down on the switch in his hand. He did not see the slim, sickly human get out of a transport behind him...

"Sir?" A communications officer asked Fara'Gok hesitantly, standing, conflicted, in the doorway of Dr. Onrai's lab. She was one of the last people to remain aboard the Torchlight.

"Sir?" She asked again. "They're someone who wants to talk to you." She gestured towards a viewscreen, a typical sight to see in any starcraft room. It allowed instant ship-to-ship and ship-wide communication. It flickered on, shwoing the image of a blue-skinned Meta-Erglic standing there, regarding the three impassively.

"Captain Fara'Gok," The Meta-Erglic said ponderously. "I am Agent Halcyon, and I am here on the behalf of D'Arnot Labs. I wish to speak with you about that datachip you have there."

OoC: Yes, I am using a NPC for Agent Halcyon. Don't worry, I won't make him a full character.

OoC: DAMN!!! Sorry, man. I'm just not good with names.

IC: Agent Halcyon bowed in return. "Yes, well...we here at D'Arnot Labs believe this chip has something to do with a threat posed against the Milky Way. Several of our operatives lost their lives recovering a chip just like that, but unfortunately it was damaged and we only gained limited data from it. It was enough, however." Agent Halcyon leaned in closer. "The USF does not believe such a threat exists. Your chip may be the key to changing that, and, inevitably, saving the Milky Way. I need to access that chip. The AI on that chip might be the last chance this galaxy has for survival."

The moment Tim saw the shock grenade, he realised that this person intended to make it off the ship. That would give him a minute, possibly less, to deal with the bomb. But first to make that minute...
A field came up around Tim, cutting of sight and sound for the second or so that the shock grenade flooded the engine room. Dropping the barrier, the pilot was swift to act. "Lep, commence the Omega Protocol, 60 seconds if I don't report otherwise, seal the Rose now." He didn't wait for a response, but, knowing that the other two would make it out, it was all about - and down to - him. It took him longer than was comfortable to locate the bomb, and when he did he realised the pattern wasn't one he could disarm in time. That left him with a single option. It wasn't ideal, but it was the only one to take. He hurried over to an access hatch to one of the engines and dumped the bomb inside. "Cancel Omega Protocol and fire rocket 3, now!" he yelled, rushing out of the engine room. With a roar one of the rockets on the back of the ship came to life. One such engine would not move the ship very quickly, and with the docking clamps in place the ship merely shuddered against it's restraints, but that was not the purpose of firing the rocket. Instead, the bomb was pushed outwards, being launched out of the ship and the vents, which had opened when the engine started up.
The blast ripped the outer doors of the dock apart, and shoved the Star Rose hard against the clamps.
"There was an explosion in the dock," ANNA reported, her voice calm and even, as though nothing ever happened.
"Any damage to us?"
"Nothing significant."
"Good," Tim replied, panting, "oh, and can you put some oxygen in this section for a bit. I could do with taking this breathing kit off for a moment." Only a moment, and then to deal with those two.

(OOC: Its fine. My names are a little confusing)

Fara' looked at Jeremy.
"Did you know about this?" He asked.
Jeremy scratched his head.
"No, not really. I have limited data about a great power, but to access my main data base, I will have to be connected to a greater power source."
"Ok, then. I might find it necces-" The ship suddenly rumbled, lights flickering. Fara' turned on his intercom.
"Status report!" He yelled into it.
"We've been hit by an external force!" A voice answered. "Type-8 Photon Projector. 3 of them. From 1 source."
"Activate Main gun. Open up on the source!"
"Sir, we have approaching hostiles. 3 cruisers. Tamek-Class. Were out-gunned!" Another voice yelled. Fara' turned back to Halcyon.
"I'm sorry, but this conversation must be continued later." He said before turning off the transponder. Her turned on his other intercom.
"Tell all crew members to get come back. Turn on starboard cannons, auto fire. Buy us some time!" He yelled.

Jace stopped short, his green face showing shock. His mouth fell open as he saw the red-white alien before him. In a hoarse whisper, he said,

"Akkoro? Akkoro Kamui?"

The Alphyn stiffened and turned around slowly. Sure enough, it was Akkoro.

"Akkoro! It is you. What the hell are you doing here?" Jace made a pretense of showing joy at seeing one of his long-time-ago passenger without showing his suspicion of the man he now knew had used his ship as transport to kill a U.S.F. official.

"Jace Orionis! I'm good, my friend!" Akkoro faked a smile too, though he was regretting now that he had used Jace's ship as transport while the Daruu Centaurion Sabre had been in the shop. This could quickly get messy, if Jace saw the explosion and put two and two together...it would not be good. "It is good to see you- why don't we reacquaint at a bar sometime tomorrow?" Akkoro asked, though he had no intention of fulfilling that date. "Right now I have to-"

BOOOOMMMM!

The explosion went off and Akkoro cringed. He could not see it, but doubtless it had consumed most of the ship and Jace had seen it. And he had.

Jace gasped and Akkoro saw his hand flutter down to his gun. Reacting quickly, Akkoro snapped a karate kick and position and hit Jace in his stomach, knocking him back. Akkoro jumped over the prostrate form of Orionis and leapt over to the transport, entering it just before the doors closed. And then, the transport pulled away and Akkoro was gone. Jace got himself to his feet and saw the transport draw away, then he mentally berated himself for not shooting the Alphyn when he had the chance. "Damn." He muttered as way of showing regret, then turned back to the Star Rose. He had seen that the explosion had not claimed the ship but rather had exploded several meters away from it. But he had known who had planted it, alright. He struggled over to the craft, trying to see if everyone was okay.

"Don't worry. I am on my way." The Meta-Erglic said shortly, then signed off. A second later, a small spacecraft entered the Torchlight's line of sight, and photon missiles streaked towards the enemy ships. Clearly, this was Halcyon's vessel- and it had come to help.

Those Photon missiles harmlessly imploded when anti-missle lasers were fired.
The 12 starboard Plasma Projectors were firing at the 3 Tamek-Class cruisers, causing there shields to flare up. Fara' knew it wouldn't be long until they were right on top of him.
"How many crew members are on-baord?" Fara' asked.
"The last ones just got on-board. Should we initiate take off procedures?" A voice answered.
"Immediately! Take us to a safe distance away from them. Tell all guns to open fire when in range. Get us out of here!" The ship rumbled, activating all downward engines, propelling The Torchlight upward.
"Main engines powered. Port Cannons firing, starboard out of range." Various crew members were yelling.
"Fire all main engines! Prime quantum engines for quick jump. Random coordinates. Now!" Fara' yelled. The Torchlight leapt forward, out of sight. 3 seconds later, and they came out of the jump. Fara' sighed with relief.
"Shield strength?" He asked.
"13%. No structural damage. Were in the clear. Shield are now recharging." A crew member reported. Fara' looked at Jeremy. Then back at the comm's officer.
"Call up the lab. We need to continue our little conversation. Also, give them our own coordinates."

The small craft seen at the sight of the battle appeared shortly behind them, and then Halcyon appeared on the screen.

"Quite a jump, Captain." The Meta-Erglic said, unruffled. "You managed to fly past quadrant lines and right into the Mitiu System. Fortunately enough, it will ward off our attackers- that is, unless they have advanced tracking software like myself. However, I doubt that." A fleeting smile passed Halcyon's lips. "Now, back to business. As I said, I need to examine that disk, and urgently. We don't know when the next attack might come. I suggest you beam yourself to my ship so I can examine it. And before you ask" -Halcyon raised a finger- "It'll need to be you coming over here. My ship is outfitted with the latest technology to examine the disk with. I doubt your ship will be so equipped- and I say that modestly." Agent Halcyon's face was totally serious.

Fara' looked down, in deep thought. He looked back up.
"Well, to be perfectly honest, we have been needing an AI system. And this one knows my ship better than I do.That would technically make him a vital asset, and to vital to just give away." He looked at Jeremy. "But why don't we let him decide. Jeremy, who do you want to go with?"

(OOC: Just gimme a minute. I'm going to ask someone to make the decision for me, since if I made it, it wouldn't be fair.)

Jeremy put his hands to his chin, mimicking the motion for deep thought. He soon came out of it.
"I have made my own decision. None of you. But, since that is not an option, I am going to stay with Fara'Gok. As much fun as the other place sounds, I don't want some laboratory technicians prodding around with my circuits." Fara' shrugged.
"That was his decision. Although, if I feel that you should get Jeremy, he shall be sent. If you are desperate, you could send over the equipment?"

(OOC: Dude. Idea. maybe you should bring the equipment to my lab and have your technicians stay with me! Just an idea...)

OoC: Just wait...

Halcyon frowned. "That is not a wise choice, Captain Far'Gok." He said. "If you wish to actually understand this chip, you must come over to my ship. The technology is installed here and cannot be transported. However," He said is a defeated sort of voice, "I can come over there and do a preliminary scanning. Prepare for boarding." Halcyon's small ship moved in closer to the Torchlight, obviously wanting to dock alongside it.

"Either way is fine by me." The intercom crackled, then the ship moved upwards and docked on top of the ship. Hydraulic clamps fastened the ship to the Torchlight and the internal lift was connected to the ship so they could move out of it and into the Torchlight proper. The woman looked down and saw that four lifeforms had entered the lift, and it started moving down to the lab's floor. She reported all this to Captain Fara', feeling a strange anxiousness in her stomach. The communications officer was the daugher of a Psionic, and at times like this she often felt like she could tell what was going to happen. She turned back to her commander and started to say something about this, but then the door slid open and she could no longe find her voice. It had somehow just...disappeared. In it's place was a strange warmth, spreading up from her stomach and into her body. The officer looked down at the gun wound in her chest. For a second, she just stood there, examining the wound. And then, she fell over, dead, and the full horror could be seen in the doorway.

Halcyon stood there, flanked by three Ultgarians, all armed with pulsar rifles.

Halcyon snapped something and the Ultgarians spread out, covering Fara'Gor and the scientists with their guns. Halcyon turned on his heel and shot the door operating system, and the automatic door instantly slid shut, locking them in. Then, Halcyon turned back to the duo, a malicious smile on his face, and for the first time a black tattoo could be seen on his shoulder, the one not covered in a spiky armorplate.

"Now then." The Meta-Erglic said softly. "Let's renegotiate."
