Time Psyduck
So I went to the RP club at uni for a taster, and got an item that could be discarded to prevent damage, similar to Hanewata and Kuriboh. I've been thinking on it, recalled an item from wargaming, and added some more, and I ended up with these. Please comment/rate/tell me what I've got wrong and all that usual stuff. Obsidian Statuette Level 1/EARTH/Rock/Effect You can discard this card to negate the attack or effect of one card your opponent controls that would inflict damage to your Life Points. This effect can be activated during either player's turn. ATK 0/DEF 0 Blood Statuette Level 1/DARK/Rock/Effect You can discard this card to reduce the DEF of 1 monster your opponent controls by 300x that monster's level. If that monster's DEF becomes 0 by this effect, that monster is destroyed. This effect can be activated during either player's turn. ATK 0/DEF 0 Gold Statuette Level 1/LIGHT/Rock/Effect You can discard this card and select 1 monster your opponent controls. Whilst this card is in your Graveyard, that monster cannot declare an attack. This effect can be activated during either player's turn. ATK 0/DEF 0 Ruby Statuate Level 1/FIRE/Rock/Effect You can discard this card to negate damage from a card effect and inflict the same amount of damage to your opponent. This effect can be activated during either player's turn. ATK 0/DEF 0 Sapphire Statuette Level 1/WATER/Rock/Effect You can discard this card to negate any battle damage from one battle you would take and inflict that damage to your opponent instead. This effect can be activated during either player's turn. ATK 0/DEF 0 Diamond Statuette Level 1/WIND/Rock/Effect If your opponent activates an effect which would destroy 1 or more cards you control, you can discard this card to negate the destruction of one of those cards. This effect can be activated during either player's turn. Tomb Hunter Level 3/EARTH/Warrior/Tuner When this card is Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon up to 2 "Statuette" monsters from your Graveyard in face-up defence position. ATK 1600/DEF 1400 Statue of Clustering Idols Level 5/EARTH/Rock/Synchro/Effect 1 Tuner + 1 or more Level 1 non-Tuner monsters. Once per turn, you can add 1 Level 1 monster from your Graveyard to your hand. You cannot Summon or discard that card this turn. This card cannot be changed from face-up Defense Position to Attack Position by card effects. ATK 0/DEF 3000 EDIT: Changed the synchro monster's name, due to similarities with an existing monster. TCG warrior
THIS REPLY IS TOTALLY WRONG, THE ONLY REASON WHY IT'S STILL HERE IS BECAUSE OTHERWISE THE NEXT COMMENT IS ABOUT A REPLY WHICH ISN'T HERE. I want you to know this: there are already statues called gaurdian statues, I'll show you an example of one: Barrier Statue of the Abyss DARK, fiend level 4 1000 ATK, 1000 DEF lore: No monsters can be Special Summoned, except for DARK monsters. Maybe change the last one a bit so that it fits with the normal gaurdian statues (since that one is really a guardian statue) Link to comment
Time Psyduck
Those are called Barrier Statues. If it's too close then I can rename the last monster so it's distinct, because it has nothing to do with the Barrier Statues. Link to comment
TCG warrior
oh, I'm sorry, I looked at yugioh.wikia.com and there the barrier statues are refered as gaurdian statues. (try searching it on that website) Link to comment
Time Psyduck
I can't find anything about barrier statues being referred to as guardian statues, although there is actually a Guardian Statue, which is rather different to mine, so I'm going to find a different name. Link to comment
TCG warrior
I think I'll leave it like this, otherwise I may say more things that don't make any sense Link to comment
