encapturer
[topic='222959']Domination Break! OOC topic[/topic] Before we start, note that any text in spoiler tags are events far and away from your characters. Don't reply to them, but feel free to read them to get a better idea of what's going on. That said, while everyone is in Eldwund right now, they don't *have* to be near Zack right now; the city is a big place. ********************************
"So what do you think of these?" A well dressed bald man, well into his 40's was sitting in a chair around a circular conference table. It was rather large, and could seat about 14, but there were only a total of three people sitting there, all dressed professionally. He slid a manila folder across the table towards a second man, who was on the opposite side of the table. He looked around thirty, although his hair was showing some gray. Next to him was a younger woman, whose modest suit could not hide the fact that she was very attractive. Once the folder was in his hands, the second man opened it up and spread out the four printouts inside so he could look at all of them at once. Each one had a picture of a person, and various details about them. As he looked through them, the woman next to him scooted over and glanced over the papers as well. "Those four, Harald, Nimue, Johnathan, and Michael," the bald man said, "Are all in Eldwund right now." "So?" The second man said, shrugging. "Why should I care about a few 'Released', Frank? We should take out Evan and be done with it." "You know we can't do that without causing problems for us!" The bald man, Frank, replied. "Besides, these guys are dangerous in their own right, Karl. Take a look." The next minute was spent with Karl reading over the dossiers handed to him. His eyes widened as he did so, until he finally looked up at Frank with a surprised look on his face. "Damn, if I'm not seeing things this is nuts. We've got some guy who actually went out and got Gungnir, a sorceress with the power of Amunei or Kana or someone like that, a powerful fire user who knows about us, and a gunslinger of all things." "See what I mean?" Frank said. "These guys need to be dealt with, now. And not the standard package, either, it didn't work too well on these guys." "Well, Linus Mathews is nearby. We can use his unit." "Linus? Excellent," Frank replied, taking out a cigar and smoking it. "Well with that, we best be leaving." The woman, who was quiet the entire time left the room first. Once she was outside, Karl stood up, but stopped next to Frank before leaving. "Do we have to keep meeting like this?" Karl asked. "It's so inconvenient." Frank sighed. "Until the Evan problem is fixed we have to. Don't worry, I'm close to understand how he's cheating..." Karl silently nodded and left the room, leaving Frank in the room alone. "...You can't keep doing things your way, Zack...", he muttered to himself as he stood up and placed a small crown on his head. He hated it since it made him look stupid, but it was customary for the ruler of Mercado to wear the crown in public, and Frank saw no need to try and change that when he had more pressing issues to deal with.

Evan Adarian trekked through the empty fields alone, having escaped town with a bag full of food and supplies just hours before. He hated stealing, and would rather pay with his money, but since the townspeople suddenly recognized him, he had no choice. He was wearing a heavy winter jacket, since northern Mercado was in the middle of a cold spell. He had no choice to come here now, since he read that old book back in Osalia. It had records of people changing personalities overnight, and outright becoming totally different people. The book called this "Domination", as it often had another human as a catalyst who 'dominated' that person's psyche. With his ability granted by the microchip grafted on his arm, he could sense people who were dominated, who were not dominated, and who were dominating others. Those who weren't dominated, called "released" by the book he read, were few in number, most wandering vagabonds like himself. What shocked him was that everyone else were merely dominated, with no dominators found... at all! He would comb the area once again, hoping to find some answers, and hopefully free humanity from it's enslavement.
Date: Present day, 2/27 Location: Eldwund, Osalia The city of Eldwund is one of the largest in Osalia, with almost a million citizens living within its borders. It was rather modernized as well, with towering skyscrapers, a modern public transportation system, and all the comforts of the current times. Many people carried weapons on their person, although they were rarely used. And there were enough places to hide if you wanted to be out of the public eye, if you knew where to look. One such person who definitely knew where to look made his home there: a dark-skinned young man with messy hair named Zack. Zack liked this city for all those reasons. Whenever he needed to get away, he would come back here to relax and prepare. He was now walking the streets, blending in with the crowds this sunny afternoon. He was wearing cured leather armor, but really didn't stand out; both police and hunters often wore armor in cities. His peace was interrupted, however, by blaring sirens. He turned to see what the commotion was and immediately wished he hadn't. Down the road came a stream of large armored vehicles, which were the source of the sirens. The emblems they bore indicated that they were apart of Osalia's standing army. The fact that they are here worried Zack, thinking they may have found him. The fact that they passed him by caused him to be relieved, but now he had to know where they were going...
Time Psyduck
Nimue stood at a window several stories above the street, watching the people below. The people she had rented the room from would be gone until the evening, and no-one would look so high up from the street below, and any that would almost certainly couldn't recognise her from that distance, meaning she had at least a little time before she'd have to move on again. She watched the people walking around, doing everything that ordinary people did, and remembered that she used to be like them. Well, she'd always had strange dreams and an uneasy feeling about everything, but before she'd just thought she was paranoid. Now she could tell something was wrong Someone glanced up, and she moved back into the attic room. Aside from at the window, the room's walls sloped inwards as they rose, matching the roof outside. Deciding she had stayed long enough, she grabbed the bag that contained everything she had, or at least she could be sure someone hadn't taken, sold or destroyed, and headed downstairs. The owners weren't back as she slipped out of the back door - after all, walking out of the front door of someone else's house didn't look good for someone accused of being a criminal, even if they had a reason. The alley behind the house was empty, and she slipped through the gate and set off up back towards the street. As she did, she noticed the sound of sirens, increasing in volume, approaching. Looking out, she saw a military convoy approaching. She moved back into the alley, torn between watching and getting away from them. In the end, she stayed, standing just in the alley, pulling a good impression of a young woman waiting to meet someone.
.Nu-13
Harald woke up in his cold as always house. He looked through the window. The city was lively as always. Harald went to the kitchen, made himself something to eat and turned on radio. (Do radio's exists here?) He heard something interesting... "The mysterious hammer was found near Northern Quarry. Scientist still don't know what is it exactly. They say that the hammer emites very strong energy" "What? Can it be Mjöllnir? But I thought that Dragan has it..." Harald thought. He put on clothes and went outisde. After few minuted, he was in front of Dragan's house. Harald knocked. No one answered. However, the door were open. Harald came in. He was feeling that someone is wathcing him. Harald went to Dragan's room and opened the chest where Dragan held his hammer. It was empty. "Huh? So that hammer found in quarry is really the Mjöllnir... But how did it end there?" Suddenly, Harald remembered something. "Gungir!" He dashed nack to his house. After he came there, the door were open. He quickly got to his room. Someone was there. Someone that was holding hi spear. ""You, give it back!" Harald yelled. The mysterious person dropped Gungir and escaped through window.
encapturer
((Yeah, they have radios and television. Even a primitive internet, although there aren't alot of computers around yet to take advantage of that.)) ~~~~~~~ "Does Commander Mathews actually think a criminal is living here?" A police officer, lightly armored stood with her back to a wall, speaking to her partner. The two were standing outside of a home, getting ready to break in. "Stop whining, we got a warrant for her, so obviously he has good cause. Now let's go." The other officer said. He was standing in front of the door, and was heavily armored, complete with sword and shield on his back. Without warning, he kicked down the door in front of him, shocking the people nearby. While Nimue was out in the alley blending into her surroundings, the police officers began to search the home she was renting a room out of. The lightly armored female officer began checking all of the windowsills by touching them with her ring finger, while the male, armored one sniffed around the lower floor. Eventually the policewoman came across the backdoor and touched the knob with her ring finger like she did the windowsills. It glowed blue. "This door has been recently used," she said, before slowly opening the door. "Doesn't seem like they're hiding here," the male replied, standing up tall. "They couldn't have gotten far," the policewoman replied. The armored policeman nodded, and the policewoman opened the door, letting the two out into the alley to continue their search. Noticing the gate had also been used, the pair continued forward, and while they figured they were getting closer to Nimue, their target, they had no idea how close she actually was. ~~~~~~ While the unknown person escaped through the window, soldiers closed in onto Harald's home. Of the criminals Linus Mathews was tasked to find, he was the easiest to track down, due to the fact that he owned a home. There were at least five soldiers surrounding the home, with others surely nearby. One of them took out a microphone and began shouting into it. "Harald, you are under arrest! Come out with your hands up in the air!" As he said that, another officer brought out a pair of handcuffs, designed to damper magical potential, making it simple to take even the greatest of mages into custody, as long as you can cuff them. "I repeat, you are under arrest..."
Time Psyduck
Nimue moved her hair from behind here ear, letting her hair fall over the eye. It wasn't a proper disguise, since it didn't change her appearance, and she suspected whatever was influencing everyone else would let them recognise her anyway, but it would at least stop her being recognised by people who only glanced at her casually and then instantly forgot what she looked like. She looked back down the alley at the sound of voices, to see the police coming round the corner. They're this close? she gasped. If the police were on top of her, coming from the direction she had, they were almost certainly looking for her. On the other hand, that meant the army probably wasn't out looking for her, so she slipped around the corner, onto the street itself. She set off in the directing the military convoy was approaching from, integrating herself with the crowd, keeping her head low and pulling out a handkerchief she had ready for this situation, which she kept close to her face, frequently wiping it over her eyes. .Nu-13
Harald looked through window. He saw police officers near his house. "What? You're arresting me? What have I done?" Harald yells. However, he decided to surrender himself. He came down and let himself be cuffed. Harald came along. However, he left coded message that officers didn't notice : "Brave, you must find Dragan and recover Mjöllnir at all cost. I'll contact you later." Officers put Harald in cell. He used his Odin's Eye to see where Brave is - he was in the mountains, near the police station. He tried to send hime signals - "Brave... Brave... my house... message... door..." Now, Harald could only pray for Brave to hear him...
encapturer
The trail the two police officers were following ran cold once they reached the main road; there were just too many people to shift through right now. The woman took a large radio off of her back and began speaking. "We lost sight of the suspect. Trace Magic reveals she can't be far." "Send out a tracking beacon. We'll make sure all of the officers nearby are on alert," the voice on the other side replied through the static on the radio. As commanded, the woman raised her hand up high, releasing a faint blue ball of light into the air, which vanished in seconds. The mage's partner sighed, and sheated his blade. "I guess we better go search as well, huh." ~~~~ Nimue was doing a excellent job at keeping herself concealed within the crowds. Even mages would have a tough time identifying her successfully without going through each person individually. Thus, it was stranger than usual that a young man, who was just drinking coffee just moments ago, started staring at Nimue as she approached the cafe he was sitting in front of. As she passed by her, the man stood up and pointed at her and began yelling. "That's her! She's the one who broke into my friend's house!" The man started chasing after her, while the crowd around her started to disperse. Traffic was interrupted as people started filling the streets thanks to the man's sudden scream. An officer across the street saw the commotion, and promply radioed her superiors before bringing out her sword and crossing the street towards Nimue. To top it all off, three soldiers hopped out of the leading military vehicle and approached Nimue, drawing their weapons as well. ~~~~ "So we've got one of them, and another has already been found...." After Harald was placed in his cell, the soldiers who captured him were talking about what was happening in the rest of the city. It was faint, but one could make out something about "four targets", "lost Gungir", and "Killing them" from Harald's position. Things didn't look good if they were talking about him. While the soldiers were busy speaking to themselves, a robed person wearing leather armor phased through the wall next to Harald. He looked at Harald, and took off his hood, revealing himself to be Zack; though Zack was sure that Harald didn't recognize him at this point. Zack carried two things in his hand, one was a shortsword which he used to slice the handcuffs restraining Harald in half, freeing him from his physical and magical bonds. The other was Gungir, which he then returned to his owner. "I didn't know you would just give yourself up like that," Zack said with a smug look on his face. "But you better get out of here before those soldiers kill you."
Time Psyduck
Nimue stared at the man, a look of confusion on her face. She wasn't confused, but hoped it may have caused the man to second-guess himself. It didn't work, and he got up and began to chase her, leaving her only one option: running. She pulled up the hem of her dress, and sprinted away at a speed that was surprising for a person wearing such loose clothing. Fortunately the crowd was clearing, so although there wasn't anything to slow her pursuers, there was no-one in her way either. A policeman crossed the street carrying a sword, and three of the soldiers had decided to join in as well. With her route cut off, she had to stop, and she raised her arms in a signal of surrender. "Four armed professionals against one unarmed girl? What did I ever do to deserve such treatment?" she asked, looking confused and afraid, and raising her voice to sound as young as possible. .Nu-13
"Gungir?! Who are you anyway?" The mysterious person looked familiar for Harald, but he couldn't remember who he exactly was. "Wait, so it's you who broke into my house?!" "No, it wasn't me" Zack answered. "Really? So, thanks. And now, let's get out of there!" Zack and Harald broke the door to the cell and started to run towards the exit. While they were running, Harald asked : "Do you know what the guards were talking about? They were talking something about <four targets>, <lost Gungir> and <killing them>." "Yes, I know, but I can't tell you at this point." Zack answered. They were almost in fron of the door. However, suddenly, six officers jumped out of nowhere. They had electric guns. "You're coming with us, Harald. Go back to your cell and leave Gungir on the floor." Harald didn't listen. Se raised Gungir and attempted to strike. Officer evade the attack. Other 5 shoot from their guns. Harald was finished. No, he would be finished, if not one of his abilites. He called : "Mitt liv är i fara. Jag framkallar befogenheter Norra gudar! Odin's Eye!" Harald's left eye turned completly yellow. Everything around him slowed down. He had time to evade the shots. After he was safe, Odin's Eye dissapeared. He quickly knocked out all officers, and then, he and Zack ran away. "Where are you going now?" Zack asked. "To the mountains. I must find Brave"
encapturer
Zack whistled as Harald single handedly dispatched all of the officers. He was impressive alright, though he wondered how much stronger Harald became due to his contact with Gungnir. "The mountains? To the south?" Zack replied when he heard that Harald was planning to head there. "That's... actually a good idea. Though if you are looking for someone, I'd suggest keeping the meeting brief if they aren't Released." Before Harald had a chance to reply, Zack pushed open the doors in front of him. "Be ready. We're probably going to have to fight our way through this." ~~~ Upon hearing Nimue's plea, the officer and the three soldiers were all visibly confused, wondering why they were going after a young girl like she was a hardened criminal. The police officer approached Nimue and began apologizing for his rash behavior. "Sorry about that," he said in a raspy voice. "We still need to take you in to the station to comfirm those statements. It's not far, It's actually a few houses down." As he spoke with Nimue, the soldiers went to speak with the man who accused Nimue of breaking and entering. The man still stuck with his story, but the conviction he had earlier all but vanished. Before the officer could escort Nimue to the police headquarters, the two officers who were tracking down Nimue earlier came running down the street. As soon as they spotted her, picked up the pace. "Detain her!" the swordsman officer called out, drawing his blade. She's under arrest. The officer who was with Nimue turned around, but before he could do anything, the front door of the police office flew open as Harald and Zack emerged. It was easy to see that this was a jail break, due to the fact that Harald was still wearing the broken handcuffs and the pair were brandishing their weapons. Zack looked around in the chaos and spotted Nimue. "Another one! Harald, we need her to come with us!" he said, pointing directly at Nimue. Time Psyduck
Nimue held in the sigh of relief she wanted to give when her defence actually stopped her pursuers, since it could very easily give the wrong impression and cause them to resume trying to arrest her. As the soldiers left to talk to her accuser however the police from further up the street arrived, just to complicate matters further, and called for her arrest. Those here may have been put off by her act, thinking the man who claimed she was a criminal was mistaken or had a grudge against her, but these two had been following her presumably under orders from someone higher up, and wouldn't have stopped for such a thing. At that moment the doors to the police station swung open and two men emerged. Since one of them was wearing broken handcuffs, it seemed they had been arrested. Nimue didn't give it another thought, and ran in the only direction someone wouldn't catch her within a minute - towards the office and the two men. .Nu-13
Harald saw Nimue coming towards him. "If you want, you can come with us." Harald tried to sneak behind the officers. He somehow managed to. He heard one of the officers saying "Damn, he escaped us. Tell everyone you can that dangerous prisoner escaped." "Great, now I have to hide." As Harald came to the city, he saw many police officers. He hid Gungir in his coat and put on hood. As he was passing near the policeman, they asked him "Hey, where are you going?" Harald tried to change his voice. "I'm going back to my house, I was on a walk." "Do you have any documents?" "Let me see..." Harald pretended that his searching his pockets, while he was thinking of his plan. He got an idea. "No, I don't have any now. But I have them in my house, you can come with me if you must check me." Policeman said "Ok, I'll go with you. Hey, everyone, I'm going with him. If you see Harald anywhere, contact me." Harald led the officer to Dragan's house. He found his documents and showed them to officer. "Ok, everything is good. Goodbye, and take care of yourself, a dangerous prisoner is running around the city." Harald answered "Ok, I will." Now, something happened. Something that Harald couldn't believe. Officer's radio turned on. "You were cheated. The guy you led... it was Harald" Harald couldn't say a word. Someone betrayed him... Magnet Soldier
"I'm innocent!" Gunshots fired, birds flew and a man ran from the scene. "Chase him, dont let him get away!" The leader of the Police squadren sent to get Michael Rolandson, an outcast of society, and one of the few people freed from the mind control of the government. Michael was running, shooting blindly behind him. The miracle was that every single shot hit. The police, however, missed every shot, and were falling behind. They were mostly unfit and were no chance against the agile and inhumanly fast Michael, who, as he approached the dead end at the end of the alley, jumped, and cleared the 10 foot high wall now infront of the police. They were left gobsmacked as Michael skidded out of the alleyway and into an awaiting car, it's door open. Michael had planned his route perfectly before hand just incase he was spotted, and had his car(A Mercedes Slk 55 Amg(Quite fast)) awaiting him. He skidded into it and turned the already prepared keys, and started the engine just as a police van turned round the corner into the side street, with a man holding a machine gun out of the window. The sirens were blaring so loud that Michael could barely make out the words, "PLEASE, LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE AND DROP YOUR WEAPONS, THEN WALK OUT ONTO THE STREET WITH YOUR HANDS UP!" which the man driving was shouting through the megaphone. Michael sighed and wondered how many time's people actually obeyed the warnings, then he pressed hard on the peddle and transfered some of his powers of increased speed into the car, and watched the speedometer dial spin out of control as he sped out of the street, watching the van disappear behind him. He was aware that there was a Helecopter following him, no doubt projecting news of him around the country and allowing the cops to track his movement, but Michael didn't care. He had anticipated this, and had another escape route planned. He could hear gunshots from behind him, so he lowered down his window and pointed his revolver out the window. He shot once, and heard a crash a few seconds later, signifying that he'd hit his mark. But as he'd shot, a number of other vans had appeared in front of him, blocking the road. Michael smiled as he braked, turning the wheel violently and skidding into yet another preprepared alleyway, and as he skidded out of the alleyway, he'd also lost the helecopter, but had no doubt it would soon be on his tail again, along with a number of police vans and cars, all with guns. Time Psyduck
Nimue wasn't sure about following these two people - one of them had apparently just been arrested and had escaped, judging by the broken handcuffs still on his wrists - but it was either go that way or end up the cell he'd just vacated. She wasn't sure what would happen were she at the mercy of these people who seemed incapable of being consistent in what they knew. She slipped round a corner and paused for breath. The one with the handcuffs managed to convince a police officer to go with him, but it distracted the others, giving her time to head to the next street and tail the two, until they entered a house. She dropped back to a street corner, resuming the pose of someone waiting to meet someone else, eyes alert for the police who would inevitably be looking for her. encapturer
((I apologize for the confusion in the last couple of posts. Just so that everyone is on the right page, Harald, Nimue, and 'Zack', are at Dragan's house, home to one of Harald's friends. Michael is driving around the city, already being chased by the police. And Johnathan has not been located yet, though the police are looking for him right now as well.)) The group of three was able to escape easily, thanks to Zack and Harald's sudden arrival. Utilizing the side roads, they were able to get rather far before running into a policeman, who Harald was able to deceive. Zack and Nimue followed Harald to his home, when Zack went inside and promptly knocked the officer out with the back of his shortsword before he could respond to the radio call. "Alright, we're safe for now, but the cops are still on to us," Zack said, looking out the window. He spotted Nimue waiting outside for some reason. Zack figured it was because she didn't feel comfortable around Harald and himself. "Get whatever you need from here right now, we'll need to move again, soon," he added before heading outside. The road in front of Dragan's house was relatively empty. Few cars passed by on the road, and fewer people roamed the sidewalks. He spotted Nimue hanging along the corner, looking like she was waiting for someone. Deciding to keep up the illusion, he began walking towards her, waving his hand. "Hey, girl!" he called out in a friendly manner, since he didn't know her name, after all. They didn't have much time, but Zack needed to get her out of the city, now. ~~~~ "What?" Commander Linus Mathews yelled into a radio in his car. It was a police vehicle, lent to him to help track down the criminals in the city. The police themselves, however, seemed to be having a tough time keeping up with the three criminals they already identified. "Alright then, go after them! I authorize the use of lethal force!" He wanted to capture them and interrogate them, but those criminals needed to be stopped now. The police would take care of Harald and Nimue, since they were on foot. Linus himself was nearby where Michael was last spotted, and planned to help join in the search. That search went by pretty quickly as he spotted a vehichle that matched the description of Michael's car going the other way down the road. After making a sudden U-Turn to follow after him, Linus made some hand-movements with his right hand which caused his eyes to glow green. Within the car ahead of him, he saw a white aura within, signifying that the one inside is a most-wanted criminal. Like Michael Rolandson. Turning on his sirens, Linus gave chase, but not before identifying the policemen. "This is Commander Mathews. I'm tailing suspect Michael Rolandson. Send backup now!" .Nu-13
"Ok people, we must somehow get out of the city and go to the mountain. City is full of police officers. There are only 3 of us... any ideas?" Nimue and Zack didn't say anything. It seems that they couldn't think of anything. Suddenly, Harald felt something. Brave was in danger. "Zack, you must tell me - what were the officers talking about back then?" "Well..." before he had a chance to answer, officers attack Harald and others. Harald tried to knock them out with Gungir, but they disarmed him. They put him next to the wall and put a gun next to his head. "One false move and you're finished!" Policeman said. But Harald didn't lost his hopes. After all, he still had his secret weapon... "De gamle krigsguden, kommer til meg og låne meg din makt! Rune Eye!" Harald's left eye's iris changed into a light-blue rune. Harald kicked the officer and attempted to disarm him. Policeman shooted Harald, but Rune Eye protected him, stopping the bullet in the middle of its track. Harald took Gugnir back and knocked out the officer. "Okay guys, we must get to the mountain quickly. I feel that Brave is in danger. So, once again - any ideas?"
Time Psyduck
Nimue headed over to the others, who for some reason seemed to have decided she's joined them, although she herself didn't remember doing so, at least not properly. Still, when the police attacked them again, she really had no option but to rely on them not attacking her, as she managed to stun a couple of officers with water before dealing with them by means of swift blows to more sensitive areas. "I have an idea of how to break though," she mentioned, "but it's far from subtle, and I don't know if I could make it all the way out of the city. The question is, can you run fast, and can you do so with me on your back?"
.Nu-13
Harald clearly WTF'ed. "Sure, I can run fast, but with you on my back? How much do you weigh?" Time Psyduck
Nimue nearly said something regarding the man with the spear's comment on her weight, but decided better of it, since this was not the time and place, and after all, it was a legitimate question under the circumstances. The man seemed to have come up with a plan of it's own, although it relied on a river for some reason, and to Nimue's surprise, annoyance, and amusement, at the same time, this man didn't even know if there was one close enough to use. "Don't ask me," she replied, "you're the one who lives round here, not me. And for your information, I'm at my ideal weight, in fact I might be slightly under it since I haven't been eating much recently," she added, giving in to her desire to defend herself. "It was only a last resort anyway. It's not like I want some stranger carrying me around," she grumbled to herself.

I remember that there's a river somewhere here, but it will be longer, but safer, to go there, intstead of directly to the mountain. Believe me, it's good idea." Harald said. He left decision to Nimue. He didn't have much time, so he left on his own. Maybe she'll join him, who knows. Road to the river was a side one, so there were almost no policeman there. Only 1 or 2, so he could easily sneak behind them. After few minutes, he was in front of the river. He decided to wait for Nimue. However, he still took out his Gungir, and pointed it at the river. Water flew up and formed a stream. His plan was fairly obvious from this point... or at least Harald thought that. Time Psyduck
"Who said we weren't using your plan?" Nimue grumbled as she followed Harald to the river. Whilst the man with the weapon of a god would sneak behind the policemen, the girl would launch water at them, move somewhere else, and then use the time they spent looking for the source of the water to get past where the policeman in question had been. It was probably a good job these were not the elite of the police force, although if they were they would have probably noticed Harald passing earlier. Nimue came to the river to find that the staff/spear thing he was holding could control the water, and he was forming a stream. "So your stick can control water then?" she asked. "So that's why you wanted a river." (OOC: I can't figure out what Harald's doing, let alone why. Where's this stream of water he's forming going to and from, and how big is it?) encapturer
Harald had led Nimue and Zack to a river in the city. Zack wasn't sure what Harald had in mind; perhaps he wanted to swim the entire way out? Zack wasn't sure that would work; after all, it was a long way downstream before they were out of the city. Still, it was better than sitting around doing nothing. Once there, Zack watched quietly as Harald manipulated the water with his staff. It was a cool trick, but he still had no idea what was on his mind. He was about to ask about the plan, but he spotted three policemen upstream, standing at the edge of the river. The officers haven't noticed Zack and the others, as whatever they were doing to the river held their full attention. Not wanting to bother Harald, Zack decided to inform Nimue about what he saw. "Look over there," Zack said to the girl in la low voice, pointing to the policemen upstream. "I don't think they saw us, but we'd better be careful." Zack grasped the handle of his shortsword, prepared to even kill if it meant the safety of these two. ~~~~ Upstream from where Nimue, Harald, and Zack were planning their escape, three police officers were standing next to each other with their hands over the river. Their hands glowed light blue, and starting from the area their hands were over, the river slowly began to turn to ice. At that point, the one closest to the criminals took out a radio. "We're done here," he said, and within seconds multiple police cars, and the army's armored vehicles began driving down the road nearby. After putting the radio away, the officer spoke to the other two mages with him. "We're done here, the water will freeze itself. Let's head down and help the others surround those criminal scum." ((So, yeah. Water's freezing up, and the group will be surrounded by soldiers and policemen soon.))

Pretty much any element, but only in ceratin situation. For example, I can't summon a wave in middle of the city. (OOC: I can't figure out what Harald's doing, let alone why. He looked at Zack, then at Nimue. He was hoping for them to think of something. Harald started to whisper - "Father Odin, help me..." Meanwhile, in the mountains, Brave reached the peak of mountain. There was some kind of temple there. He entered. In the middle of the chamber, there was a circle-like object. With purple rune on it. "Yes, I finally found it!" "Well, well, well, so you managed to, Brave." "Who are you?" Brave knew that he heard this voice somewhere, but he couldn't see the speaker's face
Time Psyduck
(OOC: The first question was IC - Nimue wanted to know what it did. I can just read your app, but she can't.) "It looks like we have to go with my plan then," Nimue replied as the officers closed in. She could see a few options here, however simply keeping up the water magic wouldn't work under these situations, and even if she disturbed the ground they'd still have to get out. That could wait, for now they had to put the police to one side of them. She moved to stand directly between the two men. "Stay very close boys," she told them, before closing her eyes. A gust of wind blew through the street, seeming to swirl around the legs of the trio. Nimue's eyes snapped open, a flash of light in her irises for a mere moment, as the gust swept up into a whirlwind, it's eye centred on the three of them, the winds blowing the closer officers away. "Quickly, run!" she yelled, setting off towards the mountains, the wind following her and forcing the officers to stand back.
