Hi.

Welcome to my 2nd challenge, I'm your amazing host Daft Innovation.

Alright, Matt is such a bro and thought up our card requirements:

"Make a card (Monster, Spell or Trap) with an effect that switchs control of an opponent's monster to your side of the field in such a balanced way that your card would not end up on the restricted/limited list."

Winner is the one who gets to 5 votes first. If it isn't achieved in 3 days, then the one with the most votes wins.

Happy voting!

This card can only be activated when your opponent controls two or more monsters and you control one or less monsters. Select 1 face-up monster your opponent controls. Take control of it until your End Phase. If the monster you controlled is destroyed by a card effect, send it to your opponent's Graveyard and inflict 500 damage to your Life Points.

Lore: This card cannot be Special Summoned. Once per turn, you can equip this card to a monster on your opponent's side of the field, OR un-equip it to Special Summon it in Attack Position. A monster equipped with this card is switched to your side of the field. The equipped monster cannot attack or be used for a Tribute. If this card has been equipped to a monster during 3 of your End Phases, destroy this card. (A monster can be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed by a card effect, destroy this card instead).

Okay I'll take the challenge DI.

Taken me a while to think up requirements but:

Make a card (Monster, Spell or Trap) with an effect that switchs control of an opponent's monster to your side of the field in such a balanced way that your card would not end up on the restricted/limited list.

I've elected for this because I reserve a special loathing for Snatch Steal and Brain Control.

Sorry bro.

That's a great requirement.

Alright, we have 24 hours from now...so let's go! Just post the card here or PM me.

daft's still new so i'll explain some stuff to you

This card can only be activated when your opponent controls two or more monsters and you control one or less monsters. Select 1 face-up monster your opponent controls. Take control of it until your End Phase. If the monster you controlled is destroyed by a card effect, send it to your opponent's Graveyard and inflict 500 damage to your Life Points

the bolded part, you don't need it, since the monster would be sent to your opponent's graveyard anyways. the ruling is that the monster goes to the owner of the card's graveyard, not the controller. even though you have control of the card, your opponent still owns it, so that part is unnecessary.

it is still op, and would at least be limited. 500lp is too small for controlling your opponent's monster without any added restrictions. there are many times in a duel where your opponent would have 2 or more monsters while you have none, so the requirements aren't that hard to meet either.

matt's card however is more original, it allows you to take control of a monster for 3 turns instead of the standard 1 you see on all those other cards. it also requires you to waste your normal summon on it, plus re-usability and added restrictions

Alright, both of these cards serve their own purpose, but I vote for Matt's because it requires a unique strategy to use. Because it is UP'd for control switching cards, that means it must serve another purpose. It can't attack or be tributed, and the monster it equips to doesn't gain anything else, so the only thing that it could be used for is Synchro (or Fusion if you are insanely lucky). I like that idea better than just stealing your opponent's strongest monster to use a beatstick.
