However, the poison was weak and as such he didn't have much to worry about in the way of physical harm, or so he though, and calmly made his way back to the motorcycle. He couldn't help but think that there was something oddly familiar about this field...and that maybe there was something important to him specifically there, it did make sense considering that it was HE and HIS partner who had been sent out this way. He shook the thought from his mind and mounted the bike, revving the engine and motioning for Kai to get on. "The next dragon is east, we're going east." She simply looked dead ahead. She stood up. Her eyes were lifeless. She murmured something. The Mage couldnt hear it at first, but became confused after she found out. Umbriel suddenly casted an intense Flare, burning everything in the room. Umbriel walked out, casting miscellaneous spells left and right, decimating everything in her path. The Mages were powerless to stop her. She walked into the hallway and broke into the armoury, heading for the section labeled VI. The whole time she was whispering one word... Faris, now a Ninja, threw a shuriken at Umbriel, though she dodged. "Tailour, what the f*ck are you doing?!" she yelled. Faris heard what Umbriel said, and quickly realized: [i]Kefka must be controlling her somehow.[/i] Faris then turned into a White Mage with a bow and arrow. She tried casting Awaken, but Umbriel didnt even need to cast Dispel or Reflect; she was powerful enough to resist. Faris then realized to bring Umbriel back, she would have to defeat her. Agent 13 looked to Freya and then back at the Supplex members, clearly making sure that they were his targets. Agent 13 teleported in front of one and punched him in the face and back against the wall, he then teleported back to Faris. "W-we can't beat this guy!" The Supplex members said and than retreated into the confines of the building. Agent 13 looked to Freya, wanting to know what to do now. ~~~ ooc; Assuming you already went to the next one... The next dragon was in the same black looking cauldron as the first but instead of a dragon made out of pink smog it was red this time. "Answer me this question, human. Do you prefer chaos or love?" The dragon asked whichever human cared to answer... ~~~ The second vice-president chimed to his secretary. "Crystal...it's, time...bring me...him...." Vincent said and Crystal was silent and then the static went off. "The second vice president will see you now Mr. Williams; I do apologize for the wait sir. Anything and anything at all I could get you you just let me know..." Tipping his hat to her, he made his way to the Vice President. He knew this was the best way to find that fugitve that escape his grasp all these years. Infact, if this goes the way he wanted, he could also get the nessesary matreial to fix up his airship and take air once again. He still had his chocobo, Setzer, to keep him company. He said to Cid and than waved his hand to a chair; gesturing he take a seat. "As you probably have already been told, I will be issuing the command that all current Supplex member kill their cloned partners." The vice president said, taking another pause. "As you ALSO may know, some Supplex clones have already been defected and taken to some unknown location. This is where I'd like you to come in. You will be responsible for killing any and all clones that are still alive the next day AFTER the command to kill has been given; if you find that the Supplex member that was partnered with the clone is keeping them alive; you are to kill them too." For that matter, are these clones, clones of any across the Void? Because I need to know who Im hunting before I go. If any of them are, then you are in more trouble then the amount of power your president has. I have seen some of these villians across the Void, and they arent as easy to kill as a two legged Sheep." Cid looked at the VP with the most serious look he could muster. Ghoulish Posted October 19, 2010 Report Share Posted October 19, 2010 Kai immediately turned tot he cauldron, he looked at the pink like dragon, it was strange how it came out of the same spot, or he thought it was slightly strange anyway. "Hmph, the other dragon said to not choose, love, but then again he didn't like the answer "love" so then why would we get two of the exact same questions witht he exact same answers? Plus his pink, one thing associated with love is assumably the colour pink." kai thought to himself, "Agiannst the advise of the other dragon we choose love." this was a risky strategy however it did make sense if the answer was chaos then it would look like they would have to fight. Feral exclaimed, pinching his nose, he couldn't stand the smell of ash. He then turned to see Evan, asleep, "Evan? You okay man?" Feral asked worried. He got up and walked over to Evan, shaking him a bit until he woke up, if that didn't work he would sit on the bench until his teammate awoke. [i]"..."[/i] Feral's mind became silent, for some reason he couldn't think straight or be his usual cheerful self, did that marking have something to do with it? As soon as he saw his partner awake, he got up and asked if he was okay. Before Feral could respond, however, Evan's communicator went off. "Evan, you and your partner are late!" Evan still had that headache, and the sound of the voice in the device made it worse. Evan flicked his device on and said they'd be right there. "We have a new mission," he said, "We have to go back to the garage for debriefing." Evan turned and began walking outside. "Don't forget your Revolver." he said, quickly pointing to the gunblade on the floor. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ OoC2: FARIS is still at the base. FREYA is with Agent 13. You guys get their names confused a lot. Freya burst out laughing. "Hah, these guys are such wuses. Hahaha." Freya stepped forward, and thought for a moment. She then concentrated on Sight. She saw Evan and Feral heading out for a mission. She turned to Agent 13. "They're leaving. Teleport us home. When they come back we'll try to recruit them." "Greetings, Klint, Highwind. Your next task is to travel to a small, far off town named Lyon. Deliver this ring to them." he said, passing a small gold ring with flames engraved in it. "They'll know what to do with it. Here, you'll also need this." He passed Evan a potion, pheonix down, and ether. "That's a special, high powered Aether. Becareful, its experimental." "Fine, then. We'll be on our way." Evan said, walking towards his car. "Wait," the official said. "There are no roads, and the grass is thick." He gestured towards a chocobo handler... Suddenly faint steps could be heard that got louder, and louder until bam! a Black Chocobo cam rushing through the building and into the garage, Feral jumped back and landed on it and began to pet it, "Who's a good Buky? huh? Who's a good Bucky?" Faral said petting it. He had named the chocobo, Bucky, "Yeah I picked him up in secret a while back and named him Bucky!" Feral said with a wide smile. Vincent said and then stood up. "The announcement will go out tomorrow morning; begin your search then. Do let me know if you require anything for your mission." Vincent sad and then walked to the door and opened it for Cid to leave. ~~~ Agent 13 nodded his head to Freya and grabbed her left shoulder, teleporting them back to the base where they were able to spot Faris... ~~~ "Defenders of love you say? Grand!" The Dragon said, forming a heart with his body and then to his original position. "I shall answer all of your questions, please, continue." The Dragon said and then waited for the questions. It was quite visible how he un tensed and looked the creature straight in the eyes, as if to tell it that there was only one question he had any interest in asking, but then another thought crossed his mind, one that had already gone through before. He closed his eyes for a moment, as if gathering his thoughts, and asked his questions calmly. "Firstly, can you tell us where and who the being that caused this destruction is? Secondly, can you tell us just what's so special about this specific field? I mean there has to be something if a mighty and powerful sorcerer is corrupting it and we've been sent out here to find out what's going on." "He is most likely in the corner of the fields that has not been tainted yet; the southern part. As for who he is; he is Hades, God of the Underworld. This field is so important because everything and anything that dies here, stays here. By that I mean any person or living that dies here; there soul stays here, in this field, forever. Also I'll need these materials," He handed over a paper with a list of items. " and Data on a man. His name is on the top of the paper. If you know about him anything, I'll need to know." Cid started to walk out the door, when he said, " I'll need a yes whether you will agree to gather these things by the morning, or I leave, and you wont see me again." I need help" Faris yelled, turning into a Red Mage holding a Rapier. She rushed at Umbriel, but Umbriel casted a Ruinga, effectively knocking Faris back. Freya ran towards Umbriel, aiming her lance at her chest. With a glowing hand, Umbriel grabbed the lance and broke it. Freya quickly ran to the section labeled IX, but couldnt find any more lances. She quickly ran to section IV. As Faris dodged a few Thunders from Umbriel, Umbriel's arm was slashed by a flying lance. The lance was dark purple in color, with gold tips and a dark red lining. The lance suddenly rematerialized in Freya's hands, and she charged.... [Kain's Lance ;P] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Evan chuckled at Feral and his chocobo. Obviously Feral is feeling much better. Evan walked over to the handler. "Well then," he said, "Who am I riding?" The chocobo handler brought out a whistle, and blew. A golden chocobo came running. "This one's called Tifa," he said. Evan climbed on, and the official came back to give him instructions. "Head out along the edge of Eris's Forest, you should reach Restyr soon after." he said. "No problem." Feral yelled as the Garage door opened up, once it was fully opened, the chocobo raced out at an alarming speed, surprising even Feral "Woohoo!" he yelled slowing him down a bit so he wouldn't fall of Bucky. "I love CHocobo's they're so... carefree and wild!" Feral roared with happiness as he came to an equal speed to Evan, "Plus I love to race these." Feral then looked around as the Chocobo Bucky progressed forward through the grass, "Let's hope we don't get into any Rando encounters, or else Bucky will spit hellfire on them baby!" He then went back to navigating. Though mostly plains were ahead of them, he could see a faint grey-ish-green outline on the horizon. How could any mortal stand against a god and win? At the exact moment that he thought this, another memory shot through his head, this one an image of a massive being that had four massive wings jutting out of it's waist instead of legs, a massive winglike blade where it's right arm should have been, a normal human left arm, and a gigantic halo about it's head. This was surprising enough, but the most surprising thing was what he saw himself, or who he perceived as himself, doing. He saw himself wielding a massive blade, the likes of which he had not seen before, and literally tear that entity apart in a flurry of slashes and stabs. The memory faded as quickly as it had come, leaving him once more aware of where he was, and with a new found resolve. He could not remember what happen in the past hrs, only that Sephiroth was to blame...and Kindle needed to be caught and destroyed before he could lore another victim in his lies. As Edward asked the questions and the dragon andswerewd that the figure was in the southern part of the area, Kai turned to face South and stared down at the distance, it did appear that furtehr down the condition of the land was alot less sever then where they were, Kai was also more interested in listening on how they could defeat the said god. Hades, there had been many rumours of himn in greek culture especially. "Hades...;lord of the underworld." Kai smiled as he thought to himself. "Looks like i'll have to cast some judgement onto him." Final Fantasy Revolution Posted October 20, 2010 Author Report Share Posted October 20, 2010 A light whistle was suddenly sounding off throughout the building, it wasn't a continuous steam of noise but more like a pulsing whistle that reverberated in different waves and tempos. Agent 13 covered his ears whereas anyone who did not started to be lolled into a state of sedation and sleep, this would eventually overcome anyone who was still listening. A woman dressed in all black like the rest of the Agents could be seen in the left side of the armory, making the sound that would eventually calm everyone down. ~~~ The Dragon thought the question over, seeming to want to give the best answer. "Hades is an entity of pure power, there is no clear way to stop him. However, if you were to "trick" him. Maybe you could get him on you side." The Dragon said and then looked around, as if looking for Hades. "I can't say much more, The Wandering Eye knows all..." The Dragon said and then started to recede back into the ruins of the cauldron. "Remember, Southern part of the fields..." The Dragon said then completely disappeared. ~~~ ooc: Since TFM and techi haven't been posting I'm making Timothy an active NPC again. Timothy was walking up to the Second Vice Presidents door just as Cid was walking out. "Well well, if it isn't Cid, how's it going?" Timothy said and then started to go past him. Cid and Timothy were on a total of one job together, and that was back when Timothy first started and he showed him the ropes; they have not seen each other since. If th eonly way we can beat him is to trick him then maybe we can do some kind of "same team" trick or something, or We could just try to break his impenetrable status?" He walked up to the counter. "Hello, can I help you?" The shopkeeper asked. "Yes, my friend and I are passing through, and we need supplies. Can I get 2 lanterns, 2 sleeping bags, a tent, and a few potions? Oh, and a backpack to carry it all." "Yes, right away." The shopkeeper quickly gathered the supplies and passed the to Nathaniel across the counter. Nathaniel payed the man and left. [i]Good thing I was given plenty of gil for whatever I need.
