Shihiro bobbed his eyes as he watched his monster get sucked into a dimensional rift. "Well, well... that was unexpected..." He said. He knew she might have had something to stop his attack, but he didn't expect his monster getting removed from play in the process. "Troublesome..." He looked at his hand and selected his other card in hand and inserts it into the spell/trap card slot. "I set one card face down and end my turn."

She placed her hand on her duel disk and thought about it for a second, while she had a monster she needed to force an opening. "My turn with a draw!", she drew her card and looked at it, she placed it into her hand and then pulled out her other card, before she could play it her monster started a vacuum effect on her causing her to lose LP according to her own monster's effect.

"Without pandemonium...I have to pay the cost" she said as she lost life points. (LP:3000)

"Well I'll have to play my trump card, I'll sacrifice my Shadow Knightarchfiend!" saying this her monster scattered into sparkles, "Amd summon Skull Archfiend of Lightning!" The sparkles came together but started turning into clouds rising from the ground, the clouds darkened until the lighting struck the ground together, coming from the ground was the monster she summoned. Making the growling noise he did, showing off his power by having lighting forming all around him, sparking off his body.

"He's so handsome, those muscles under those boney arms and legs, those wonderful horns, those..." "You know, you should make a move instead of praising your cards all of the time" Ryu interrupted her. She looked over and said, "Oh sorry, anyways. Skull Archfiend of Lightning attack his monster! Lightning Strike!" Skull Archfiend of Lightning formed lightning all around him and started to focus it, he was ready to make his assault. He fired off Lightning right for the Enforcer.

Shihiro closed his eye and grinned as he heard the words he wanted to hear. "So that's want you were trying to summon earlier..." He eyes shoot open and he thrusts his hand outward. "Not bad I was waiting for this moment! I activate the trap card Rising Energy!" He shouted as the trap card flips open. "I discard one card from my hand and increase Enforcer's attack power by 1500!" He discards a Shien's Footsoldier and Enforcer holds his blade with both hands in a ken-do stance as a dark red red aura.

Well I heard that she was the best duelist in the academy, and while we were dueling I overheard someone say something about her calling herself Yurihime or something and that all of the cute girls in the world belong to her. Well I guess this academy has all kinds but with a personality like that I wonder what kind of deck she plays, maybe a Maiden in Love or a Amazoness or even a Cyber Girl deck, man there are so many girl themed decks. Haseo had gotten hungry without realizing it, I'm gonna get a burger or something, you wanna come.

David raised an eyebrow. "Well, that's certainly an odder rumor than I expected," he mused, not really taking the gossip seriously. Although, he did remember some snippet of a reprimand in an earlier class that had something to do with girl fascination, although he hadn't given it much attention at the time. "Could also be Harpies," he added with a shrug. "In any case, yeah, I've still got time to kill, I'll come along."

He paused a moment to put his deck away, making a mental note to change a few troublesome cards before dueling again, and maybe devote more time to thinking over how best to tackle individual opponents. "I'm ready."

"I'm not going to let you defeat my trump card that easily, I'll activate the spell card, Book of Moon! With this card I'm going to flip your monster face down, so the boost will miss!" With this her attack would hopefully go through and defeat his monster. Her monster was her only card left, so she had to bank it surviving.

Shihiro's eyes widened as his monster was flipped face down. "What...!?" He exclaimed as his monster is struck by multiple bolts of lightning and explodes into pixels. "Such a crafty duelist..." He noticed that Wendy now had no cards in her hand and was expecting her to finish her turn shortly. "This duel is now getting good, Wendy, you are indeed a formidable opponent." He complemented. "I sure am fortunate to meet such skillful duelists." He thought.

So there are two monsters facedown and two facedown traps... or spells... Eria mused to herself as she surveyed her opponent's field. She could not do anything else this turn, however, she wondered why she used shift to protect her Golem Dragon.... is she going to summon a large dragon at some point?

Even now, Eria could feel nothing from her opponent. She says she should know her from the past, except she never really did anything. The more she tried to think about her memories, the more her head hurt, even with her absorbing the energy from the duel itself. Eria shook her head, as if she was trying to shake the pain away, while trying to look composed for her opponent's sake.

"I.... end my turn."

"My turn is over" Wendy said with only her single Skull Archfiend of Lightning to protect herself.

Ryu liked how she pulled that off. "I like her skill, she's no notice at the game. Now I want to take a chance to duel her...but it's not over yet, anything can happen and he still has every chance for a comeback...which in this game is very very possible."

Shihiro knew this was a bad situation. He looks down at his deck. "One card huh...?" He thought. He place his hand on the top of his deck. "My turn... draw!" He rips the card and was very amused by what he drew. "Heh... talk about luck...." He shows it to Wendy. "I activate the spell card Pot of Greed! I draw two cards!" He rips two cards from his deck and upon seeing them "Ok... this may sting a bit..." he thought as he took one of them and inserts into a slot. "I set one card, and end my turn."

"Well if that is all is you then I'll take care of this, draw. Skull Archfiend take my life points!" Sparkles came out from her as if it were her own life points to essentially feed her monster. (LP: 2500)

She looked at her card, "Imprisoned Queen Archfiend, this is too high level to summon, still my monster can take care of this" "Go Skull Archfiend of Lightning, attack him with Lightning Strike!" The demon prepared his lightning and shot it right at Shihiro.

Ryu started thinking about this, "Even if it doesn't protect him he had a reason, a buff seems odd at this point so his face down is relevant to the situation. She might be hasty about this, but then again with only one card in hand she most likely doesn't have a choice about this."

Shihiro braced himself as the bolts of lightning came down on him. "hhrrrehh...!" He grunted as his life points dropped. (LP: 1500) "That was a good attack... I'll make good use of that power! I activate the trap card Damage Condenser!" He declared as the trap card revealed itself. "I discard one card from my hand to special summon a monster from my deck whose attack points are equal to or less than the damage I just took!" He takes the only card in is hand: Spirit of the Six Samurai and inserts it into the graveyard slot. Upon doing so, a card pokes out of his deck and he takes it. "Now for my ace monster! Come forth Great Shogun Shien!" A pillar of flame erupts from the ground. A silhouette of a tall figure appears from within. The flames disperses and the crimson armored Shogun is revealed. "A new monster that strong?!" she said. "Well looks like I'm ending my turn."

"I'll be safe as long as this stays a stalemate, plus I'm at 2500 Life Points, with my monster's protection effect I should be able to handle this situation."

Shihiro was amused by how both their monsters are equal in attack. He looked down at his deck and wonders how he'll break the stalemate. "I'll bet on one more card..." He thought. "My turn, draw!" He rips the card from his deck and his eyes widen with surprise. "That card...!"

He chuckled. "Well Wendy, it was fun while it lasted, but it's time to end this. I activate Assault Armor!" He jams the card into the slot and the card appears on the field. "While this card I increase the attack power of Shien my 300!" and yellowish white aura envelopes as his attack power increases. (ATK 2800) "Go, Shien, attack her Skull Archfiend!" He ordered. Shien graps his katana with both hands and charges the Archfiend. He tries to retaliate with a barrage of lightning but it was to no avail for Shien resists each blow. Once Shien was within striking distance, he slices the Archfiend in two with one swift swing of his blade. "But I'm not done. When Shien destroys a monster with Assault Armor equipped I can send Assault Armor to the grave to give Shien one more attack!" As he said this, the yellowish white aura dissapears and his attack points returns to normal. "Finish this Shien!" With that Shien takes a swing of his blade at Wendy.

"My archfiend!" she yelled as her monster was sliced in half. Then she heard the effect of assault armor, she only had one card in hand and it was a monster she couldn't summon. It was clear that she was finished, she had no options left. "I'm done for." The next attack was coming for her, and she needed to prepare herself for it. The samurai came up and slammed the sword down on the her, as the smoke cleared she looked down at her duel disk and saw the number.

Shihiro let out a content sigh as the hologram of Shien faded from sight and his duel disk deactivated. He walks over to Wendy and offered his hand. "That was a good duel, Wendy." He looked over at Ryu. "I would like to duel you as well, Ryu, but it's getting late and I have something I should take care of." He said as he saw the sun setting ever further into the horizon. "See you two tomorrow at class then." With that he turns and walks away.

Wendy accepted the hand shake and stood up. "Well goodbye" she said as Shihiro left. He was a nice person, I wish I could have won that...even with my trump card I still lost.

Ryu walked up to her saying, "You know, you still did very well. You played extremely smart during that, saving your trap card for a more proper moment and you forced him into a bad position."

Wendy looked at him and said, "Well, I guess I did fine I'll see him in class tomorrow." She turned to look down a road and said, "I should get going home, my parents may not be here but I want to still keep this routine for being home on time."

"Well them I'll see you in class tomorrow, I'm gonna go looking around a city a bit longer" Ryu said.

"heh, well see ya" she said and she started walking home. Her house wasn't far from the school so she could get home easily from here.

"Well now that she's going home I should look around the city and see what going on" Ryu said as he started walking along. "That guy Shihiro...he's a better duelist than she is in some areas and plays better with speed. I'll remember his challenge, he's definantly going to be a challenge...I can't wait for that to happen."

Itsu mulled it over, and replied. "Keep the tank top. It's not going to rain tonight. I...can just feel it."

Paradox drew her card. "I activate Dark World Lightning, which allows me to destroy one of your face-down cards, which will be your only face-down Spell or Trap Card, but I will have to discard a card afterwards, in this case, Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon." She discarded the monster, and drew her cards. "I don't do anything else, ending my turn."
But as Eria was about to start her turn, a whirlwind started swirling in one of Paradox's monster zones, and, a few seconds later, it dissipated, leaving a giant dragon made from a black metal on the field. (2800 ATK)

Dusk analyzed that one unimportant comment made by the primary spying target. The primary target feels that condensation of atmospheric water vapor into drops of water will not happen. Later confirmation is needed to see if what the primary target says is true. This may be useful information in further phases of time. He then paused and continued to spy on his targets.

Meanwhile, Protheus was still thinking. But just in case the occasion came, he had summoned his deck, and was working out many strategies meant for different people, but most of them were entirely focused on countering one person, THAT one person.

((Posting to battle phase, counter at any point in post, etc.))

Eria drew her next card, then closed her eyes as she returned United We Stand to her deck and her Generator collected yet another Mana. She had a satisfied look on her face as she began her turn, even though she faced one powerful dragon as her opponent, and lost one of her contingency cards, Threatening Roar. "I would have like to have saved this for a better combination of cards, but it seems like I don't have a choice. I tribute Armory Spellweaver and Spellweaver Guard to summon Lilina - Spellweaver Master."

That single summoning caused quite the chain of events. The two spellweavers on the field vanished, but their Mana did not go with them. Instead, it was collected by the Mana Condenser. In the place of those creatures spawned Lilina, Eria's ace. She held a pearl staff and was dressed in a fancy white gown that seemed more suitable for a princess than a mage. What was even stranger was that save for the white hair and green eyes, the spellweaver was an exact duplicate of Eria wearing different clothes. Once the summoning was settled, Lilina waved her staff and four mana spheres appeared around her at her call. One came from her own effect. The other came from her mimicking Spellweaver Guard's effect.

Eria surveyed her field, before continuing. Now that the dragon hit the field, she'd have to play more carefully. "I will then remove a Mana Counter from Mana Condenser and place it on Lilina, and the Condenser replenishes itself due to it's collection abilities." Eria's side of the field was literally basking in Mana right now; her side of the field was glowing a bright luminescent green.

"I then remove 3 Mana from the field in order to activate Lilina's effect, borrowed from Armory Spellweaver, to equip her with Fairy Meteor Crush." The glow on Eria's side of the field lessened as mana left the Condenser, but besides the added card on Eria's field, nothing happened. "Finally, Lilina attacks Shield Dragon." As she said those words, Lilina waved her staff, and summoned a large meteor from the sky which came falling down towards the Shield Dragon.

As Eria took her turn, Paradox explained. "My Red-Eyes Wyvern can Special Summon a Red-Eyes monster from my Graveyard if I do not Normal Summon or Set during a turn, so I Special Summoned my Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon using my Wyvern's effect. My Wyvern is removed from play, but I can easily remedy that situation."
But Paradox had been ready, and she flipped up another face-down. "I activate Compulsory Evacuation Device, sending your Lilina back to your hand!"
Just as Lilina had started to attack, a machine erupted from the ground and encased the sorceress, dissipating the meteor that had been summoned. A few seconds later, the machine fired, sending the magician flying up thousands of feet into the air. Her card then fluttered back down to earth and landed in Eria's hand.

"Correct, this is Lilina's weakness." Eria said as she pulled a card from her hand and placed it on the field. "But I am prepared for that. I activate Spell of Grounding to counter your evacuation device."

Lilina waved her hand, and even more Mana vanished from her person. In its stead, various mystical vines appeared from the ground, tangling up the machine and causing it to malfunction. As the machine and the first set of vines vanished, a second set appeared, grabbing hold of Lilina's legs, holding the mage in place while the meteor contined down to its intended target

Although she didn't show it, internally Eria was relieved, as she just drew Spell of Grounding this turn. And hopefully, she'll be the one to deal some damage first thanks to her lucky draw.

"Well, even if it doesn't, it's getting late and it'll probably be dark before I head back here, assuming I don't just sleep at your place tonight, so a tank top isn't really too practical." Ruby reasoned, stripping off her top and throwing it in the clothes hamper in the corner of her room, revealing that she wasn't wearing anything underneath, "If you actually are into girls, now would be the time to tell me while I'm still half naked." She joked, looking through her underwear drawer and comparing her options with her t shirts, before picking out a pink shirt with a heart in the middle and a blue shirt with a diamond. "What do you think?" She asked Itsu, holding her two options above her head so the girl could see.

Shihiro's stomach started to growl; realizing he hadn't eaten yet. He scans the shops and sees a hawker stall selling steamed buns. "Those look good." He thought, trying to keep himself from salivating. He walks up to the stall and asks for two. The seller takes two fresh buns from the glass steamer and hands them to Shihiro. He pays the seller in exchange and takes the buns. He happens to see a vending machine near by and walks over to it. He inserts several coins, selects a drink and seconds later the soda dispenses from the machine. He takes the drink and indulges in the buns as he walks through the city. He soon comes upon an apartment complex were he stops in his tracks. He looks up at the building with a suspicious look. "Something feels weird..." He said as he ate the last of his second steamed bun.
