(I'm fine with made-up cards, I'll only have a problem if the card is overpowered)

She looked on as the dynamite was going for her card. "Oh...he's going to destroy my field spell, shame I was ready for this" as she hit the button for a face down card. I'll activate, Divine Wraith!" Force of lighting came crashing down on the dynamite, seemingly devouring it, "By discarding a card from my hand" she discarded an Archfiend Soldier as per cost. "It will stop an effect monster's effect and destroy it." The lighting started to curve and head straight for Six Samurai - Kamon.

"My turn, then." Eria said, drawing her next card, while her generator gained its fourth mana sphere. She wondered why her opponent was giving her time to set up. Still, she was ready to attack now, even though her force was getting rather impressive.

"I shift Spellweaver Guard to Defense Position, and then I activate Mana Condenser." The guard raised his shield to protect himself and a large bowl appeared behind Eria's monsters. As usual, it glowed with a faint green light. "I then activate Armory Spellweaver's effect to equip a monster on the field with an equip spell from my deck, but only until my next standby phase. I use two Mana from my Guard, and one from my generator to equip my Armory Spellweaver with United We Stand." A streak of electricity from the Generator stung Eria, as she took 500 damage for drawing Mana from the generator. "Then, Mana Condenser collects some of the used Mana in the air." A single green sphere appeared in the bowl, floating around inside of it, at which point the bowl began pulsing with energy and three metal rods rooted themselves into the ground.

"Now, Armory Spellweaver shall attack your Golem Dragon." The Spellweaver took its glowing blade, rushed towards the Golem Dragon, and threatened to destroy it.

Ruby breathed a sigh of relief and hugged Itsu again, "Ya, I know, but hey, your irrational fear could have been just a cover until you were ready to come out." She said, "I'd love to be your sister, Itsy." She said, tears welling up in her eyes as well, "So, big sis, can we celebrate my addition to your family with pizza and ice cream?" The blue haired half Scandinavian girl asked, "Plus, I left my pain pills in my room and I wanna ditch my jacket before I leave." She said, "The pills I took this morning are starting to wear off."

Shihiro watched as Kamon is struck by bolts of lightning and explodes into pixels. "In that case... go my Enforcer, attack her Infernal Queen Archfiend!" He declared. The Samurai brought his blade to his side, then charges the fiendish queen. Once within striking distance, he prepares to make a swift swing. "Let's see what else she's got...

David frowned, contemplating his available moves. This was an interesting move, he could not deny that, but how best to respond? Ultimately, he did nothing but watch as his Reloader was destroyed, and his lifepoints dropped to 2000.

LP: 2000

"During the End Phase, I activate Infernity Break! By removing one Infernity card from my graveyard while my hand is at 0, I destroy one card on the field. I choose your facedown card by removing Infernity Gun!" David said, pointing to Haseo's facedown card behind the monsters. His Infernity Destroyer floated back to him, as Haseo said, and David smirked ever so slightly as the card shattered.

"My turn!" With that, he drew a card and studied it. "I set one card facedown. Then I activate Zero-Max!"

One of David's earlier facedown cards flipped up, showing the image of a strange pink sphere. "When my hand is at 0, I select one 'Infernity' monster from my Graveyard and Special Summon it. I choose Infernity Reloader!"

The barreled monster reappeared, and from its body, a pink sphere fired out, expanding over the field for a moment. When it moved over Haseo's monsters, both exploded apart. "All monsters on the field with less ATK than the Special Summoned monster is destroyed," David explained quietly. (Lvl 1, 900/0) "As you can see, all my monsters have more than 900 ATK, but all of yours don't."

"During the turn that I activate Zero-Max, I can't battle. I can, however, activate Infernity Reloader's effect! I draw 1 card and if it's a monster, my opponent take 200 points of damage for every level star of the drawn monster. Otherwise, I take 500 points of damage." With a flick of his wrist, David drew, and Infernity Reloader's chambers turned until a bullet clicked. David peered at the drawn card and frowned.

"Trap Card, Infernity Reflector," he sighed. Once again, the reverse barrel fired, catching him in the stomach and he winced.

Shihiro felt slightly puzzled. "Why didn't she use her other set card...?" he thought. While still pondering over it, he continues his turn. "Next I'll activate the effect of Six Samurai United. If you hadn't noticed before, each time I summoned my Six Samurai monsters, it gained a Bushido counter. Now I remove these counters in order to draw two cards." He stated as he ripped two cards from his deck. He gave them a quick glance. He adds one to his hand then replaces it with another from his hand before inserting them into the spell/trap card slots. "I'll set two cards face down and end my turn." He declared as the two cards appeared face-down behind Enforcer. "Can't let my guard down it seems..."

Haseo drew his card and smiled, Now I'll summon my Synthesize Sphere and with his effect I'll bring my Air Sphere back in defense and with the two on my side of the field you can't declare and attack, and with the field the way it is I think I might be able to win next turn, but for now I'll attack your Infernity Reloader then end my turn. Haseo seemed extremely confident even with the field the way it is it seemed like he had an ace in the hole somehow.

David blinked incredulously at Haseo. With two monsters on his field and no hand and no Spells or Traps, he seemed to think he was going to win next turn? Sure, the score was 4000-1500, but David wondered whether Haseo had thought this out.

"You're...going to attack me?" David thought. Why? He should know the identity of two of my facedown cards... his eyes flicked to the one of the far left. Infernity Reflector is useless if I have no cards in my hand, and my middle card he doesn't know. The last card I set on my first turn, and he should have remembered I had it, since I gained it with Infernity Archfiend.

"I activate Infernity Force! This Trap can only be activated when my hand is at 0, and my opponent attacks an Infernity monster! The attacking monster is destroyed, and I Special Summon 1 Infernity monster from my graveyard!"

The Trap glowed and Synthesizing Sphere shattered into pixels. On David's field, a stout, gun-toting fiend appeared, laughing. (Lvl 1, 0/0) "I resurrect Infernity Avenger!" He looked over at Haseo.

"If that's all you can do, it's my victory," he warned, putting his fingers on the top of his deck in preparation to draw.

She looked at his set field for a second, then said, "It's my turn, I draw!" drawing her card. "If I remember the theories of card advantage he has it at the moment, I'm down a card and my pandemonium isn't doing anything, or has gotten me anything. For now I should focus on getting something to protect myself" she thought. "I'll activate the spell card Soul Exchange. With this card I can sacrifice your monster to summon one of my own!" She said.

The card appeared and soul like vapors started moving towards Shihiro's monster.

Shihiro gave her a smirk and thrust his hand outward. "I don't think so! I activate the quick play spell Cunning of the Six Samurai!" He declared as the spell card flips face up on the field. "With this card, so long as there is another Six Samurai monster in the graveyard, I can send one Six Samurai I control on the field to the graveyard to special summon a Six Samurai from my graveyard! And here's the funny thing, it doesn't say I have to select a different Six Samurai to special summon. So that means I can send Enforcer to the graveyard only to bring him back!" As he said this, Enforcer disappears into the card and avoids the clutches of Soul Exchange only to then reappear seconds later. "And thus this prevents my monster from being sacrificed!" Shihiro loved using Cunning of the Six Samurai judging by the unnaturally enthusiastic tone in his voice.

She was stunned by this, she didn't the think the facedown cards were going to protect his monster. Her spell card tried to get the monster but it miss and vanished.

Ryu was liking where this was going, this duel was quite exciting, even with the back and forth motions going on, it was still anyone's game. He kept a close eye on Shihiro though, he was quite good at the game, and knew what he was doing. This was the kind of opponent he liked to face, being very competitive himself he would like to duel him.

Wendy only had one thing she could do at that point, "I'll summon Shadowknight Archfiend in attack mode!" As she placed the card a cloud of smoke seemly from below the ground formed and out came her monster jumping out, (2000/1600). "The flowing hair, the sword made arm, the other made like a shield. He was made for this, with that smile that I love to see!" She said with great enthusiasm.

Ryu sulked for a second thinking, "...I still don't get this demons are adorable thing."

"I'll end my turn" she said. She looked at her hand and knew she needed to summon her monster, if she couldn't soul exchange it out she would go with plan B.

Ruby smiled and led her best friend-slash-sister out of the school towards DJ's house, getting caught up on the day's events along the way, "You seriously lost to that Brit chick?" She asked, shaking her head, "Wow, Itsy, I'm surprised, what's next, are you gonna tell me that you actually are faking your irrational fear of lesbians for fear of being shunned once you come out?" She smirked a little as she spoke and let herself into DJ's apartment building before taking the elevator up to his room floor and letting them into his room, which was, all things considered, fairly nice, two bedrooms, one bath, a living area, and a kitchen-slash-dining area. She walked through the small abode and into her room, which was rather plainly decorated since most of her stuff was still at her 'real' house. She patted the side of the bed, motioning for Itsu to sit, and took of her blazer before perusing her closet, which was almost completely full of new clothes that she hasn't worn yet, "What do you think?" She called over her shoulder, "Keep my blue tank on, or should I change into a t shirt in case it rains?"

David was stunned, to say the least. "Wha-?" was all he managed before moving all his monsters into his hand with one smooth gesture. He grimaced. Five monsters in his hand...that hurt.

"My turn, draw!" he stated, looking at the card he drew. Infernity Necromancer...another monster card! "Okay, let's see...I'll discard Infernity Destroyer to Special Summon Dark Grepher!" (Lvl 4, 1700/1600) Like before, the dark clad warrior appeared, grinning as Haseo maliciously.

"Now, I activate Grepher's effect, discarding my Infernity Archfiend to send my Infernity Beetle from my deck to the Graveyard," he continued, sliding another card from his hand and extracting a card from his deck. That left him with three cards left in his hand.

"I activate my facedown A Feather of the Phoenix! By discarding one card from my hand, I add Zero-Max to the top of my deck!" David continued, now starting to look more confident.

"I Normal Summon Infernity Avenger!" he announced, smirking a little as the gun-toting monster returned to his field. (Lvl 1, 0/0) "Now I tune my level one Infernity Avenger with my level four Dark Grepher!" The fiend laughed and leapt into the air, vanishing into a green ring shape. The dark warrior passed through the ring, fading into a pillar of four stars, through which a pillar of light shone through.

"Synchro Summon! X-Saber Wayne!" A new monster appeared, doing some sort of dramatic spin. (Lvl 5, 2100/400) "When Wayne is Synchro Summoned, I can Special Summon 1 Level four or below Warrior Type from my hand, and believe it or not, Infernity Reloader is a Warrior Type and it happens to be the only card left in my hand!"

A pulse of light, and the gunbarrel monster appeared again. (Lvl 1, 900/0)

"My hand is at 0, so I can draw 1 card with Reloader's effect! If it's a monster, you take 200 points of damage per level star. Otherwise, I take 500 points of damage. I draw, and it's a Spell, Zero-Max! I take 500 points of damage," David said quietly, bracing himself for Reloader's backfre.

LP: 1000

"I set a card, and then activate it: Zero Max! When my hand is at 0, in exchange for not battling this turn, I Special Summon one Infernity monster from my Graveyard, and destroy all monsters on the field with less ATK than it. I choose Infernity Necromancer!" Alongside his other two monsters, a robed priest-like skeleton appeared. (Lvl 3, 0/2000)

"Since Necromancer's ATK is 0, no monsters are destroyed," David explained. "I activate Necromancer's Effect! Once per turn, when my hand is at 0, I can Special Summon one Infernity monster from my Graveyard! I choose the Infernity Beetle I sent this turn!" Alongside the Necromancer, an insect appeared. (Lvl 2, 1200/0)

"I activate Beetle's effect! By Tributing it when my hand is at 0, I can Special Summon 2 more from my deck!" The Beetle shimmered, and identical insects appeared. (Lvl 2, 1200/0) x2

"I tune my Level two Infernity Beetle with my Level one Infernity Reloader, and my level five X-Saber Wayne!" David announced. Another set of rings appeared, two of them this time, and the two monsters passed through them becoming one and five stars respectively and becoming enveloped in a pillar of light.

"Synchro Summon! Infernity Death Dragon!"

A rumble sounded from the ground and a large dragon appeared, growling fiercely. Its body was gray and a powerful tail lashed behind it. Four eyes glared out from a mess of curls on its head. (Lvl 8, 3000/2400) David smirked slightly.

"Once per turn, in exchange for it not battling this turn, while my hand is at 0, Infernity Death Dragon can destroy one monster on your field, and inflict damage equal to half that monster's ATK. I cannot battle anyway due to Zero-Max, so I'll activate Infernity Death Dragon's effect to destroy your Synthesizing Sphere!"

The massive dragon roared and spat an enormous fireball at the opposing monster, blasting it apart. "Synthesizing Sphere has only 1000 ATK, but that means you're hit with 500 points of damage!" David said. He clenched his fist.

"Turn End!"

"What."

The word was delivered in the most stunned, deadpan manner possible. David stared as his monster shattered apart, his LP dropping to 0, the holograms fading away as if they never existed. He looked at his disk and then at Haseo and then back again, a look of utter incomprehension on his face.

And I thought Infernity decks got flak for insane topdecking. How the hell does that deck even function, much less win? David thought to himself, feeling frustrated beyond belief at the outcome. From turn one, he had the advantage. He had field presence, and while trailing in Lifepoints, he had a strong offense and a sizeable defense. Had he just screwed up that badly?

He replayed the duel swiftly in his head. I should have used Infernity Force back when he attacked with Transforming Sphere, but I wanted to keep Infernity Destroyer, and I had Zero Max to deal with his monsters, and Break to deal with his facedown, he thought. He had eaten his hand so quickly and all his cards were low ATK monsters, his main combo being a stall combo that didn't even work well...

David internally scowled. Had he severely underestimated his opponent, to not even deal 1000 point of damage despite massive field pressure and so many combos and plays at his disposal? Last turn, I should have tuned for Magical Android and gained 600 LP plus kept a 2400 on the field with Death Dragon. He was practicaly topdecking, there shouldn't have been any real danger, not like that...

It bugged him, that both duels that day could have been settled in his favor if he had just favored the approach of mercilessly overwhelming his opponent. Against Shihiro, he could have performed a single Synchro Summon and defeated him. Against this opponent, using Infernity Force, losing Destroyer in the process, but crushing his entire strategy and combo and reducing him to only one pathetic card on turn one, or investing in heavy hitting Synchros last turn to overwhelm would have resulted in a victory. But that wasn't the style of dueling he liked.

Well don't I look the fool. I run an aggressive burn deck with amazing synergy among the cards, and I only dealt 500 points of damage against a stall deck with no apparent win condition.

Haseo signed in relief, Oh man If my last three cards hadn't been perfect then I probably would have just been killed, I haven't had a duel like that in forever, I still don't get how you were able to summon like five monsters per turn and and support destroying my cards without using attacks. Haseo for a moment felt a dark pulse through his body something inside him was mad at how he dueled and he couldn't understand it. My deck stalls and special summons and you were destroying it, hey have you heard about Itsu? I've seen her a couple of times but I've never seen her duel.

Shihiro may have saved his monster, but he couldn't let his guard down. "Whatever monster she was trying to tribute summon... I'll have to be swift..." He though as his turn came. "My turn, draw!" He ripped the card from his deck and glanced at it briefly before adding it to his hand. He thrusts his hand over the set card. "I activate the trap card Return of the Six Samurai!" He declared as the trap card opened up. "With this I special summon The Six Samurai - Kamon from the graveyard!" The trap glowed brightly as Kamon emerged from it. "Now, Kamon, finish what you started and destroy Pandemonium!" Upon this order, Kamon lights several sticks of dynamite and throws them into the air.

Meanwhile, nearby, Minerva was spying on Itsu. He soon realized he had to do something if he were to continue spying. And he thought well. He took out a card from his pocket. It was "XIII Nobody Dusk", looking like a Dusk from Kingdom Hearts. Without a moment's hesitation, he held it out, and the monster in the picture came out, although slightly transparent. He ordered it to spy on those he was spying on, and anyone else who happens to be spying on anyone he was spying on or he himself or any other spy spying on the spies who were spying on whoever he was spying on and report back to him in one hour. And then it.....stretched and bounced from place to place? It was difficult to describe.

The Dusk was invisible and intangible, as it spied on the targets. It analyzed everything around it, including the surroundings, the targets, the clothing, and even the bath. It could probably be sensed by Duel Spirits, but they couldn't touch as it could. It was summoned from the world that resides between the World of Darkness and the entirety of the Spirit World. It continued to watch it's targets.

Wendy could only watch as the monster she took care of threw dynamite and destroyed the field spell. The Pandemonium crumbled into pieces and chunks crashing down all around, this was the only thing protecting her monsters from hurting her life points, now she would have to pay the mandatory costs for her monsters. The duel was quickly turning on her and placing favor in her opponent's hands.

David broke off his internal rant and smiled at Haseo. "Yes, good duel," he agreed, not meaning a word of it, but no one should be able to tell because his demeanor was as calm and relaxed as was his norm. "It's just one of the ways my deck works; to swarm the field and put constant pressure either through burn or battle. By emptying my hand, a number of effects use the graveyard."

He paused at the question. "Itsu, Itsu...hm, I think I know who she is, but I don't keep up to date with all the goings on. What has been said that I may have heard?"

Shihiro takes another card from his hand. "I summon The Six Samurai - Zanji in attack position!" A samurai in orange neon cybernetic armor wielding a beam bladed naginata appears on the field." He takes another card. "Then I equip Zanji with the equip spell Legendary Ebon Steed!" A black warhorse appears on the field. The fierce steed kicked up it's hooves and nayed loudly. This is where you are wrong, I'm not going to destroy your monster. "I'll activate my face down card, Dimensional Prison this card will remove from play one monster that is attacking from the game." She saved this on purpose, she wanted to hold off on this card so she could use it for a moment where it was more advantageous, with his monster equip like this it was a much better position.

Ryu liked how she played this out but thought, "She waited and baited out an attack by not activating her trap from before...still not sure I would have gone about it like that, she could have forced a direct attack and made him react to her instead of the other way around. Nice play though."
