"Right, errr...." He thought for a bit. [i]What to say to this impostor....?[/i] And then he had an idea. "Right, I was bored, and I needed someone to Duel. And just so you know, I'm the principal's brother." He then activated his Duel Disk. "So then, Mr. Kaiba, can I duel you?"

Protheus was still waiting. He had disposed of the prince Shihiro, and maybe he should go and find the magic being Eria and make it cast the devastating spell that presumably has enough power to destroy HER while it's still within his grip. But he decided against it, for the magic being may have enough energy already, but it had to be at its peak for Protheus to be sure.

The Dusk continued to watch the big-gun man, very amused by him.

Yoh saw the gun in his face and saw it charge. He backed away and said,"H-Hey! Easy there..." Right now Yoh was between a rock and a hard place...or rather, a wall and a massive gun that will blow him to bits. "T-T-There are better ways to settle stuff like this...w-w-we could talk about this. Or just text an apology..." he said trying to say something that would hopefully stop the guy from killing him. "S-Seriously...you don't wanna settle something like this with death." He looked at the others and thought, [i]Maybe it would be the best time for them to get the hell outta here. Mainly since I got 'Mr. Imma Shoot Ya' pointing his gun at me.[/i]

Desna smiled. [color=#FF4500]"Don't worry, little Neutral. You won't feel a thing. The impact of the round, combined with the plasma wake it leaves behind, will vaporize you before you can even blink. Your eyes will just start to tell your brain I fired the gun by the time your body is destroyed. This gun is that fast. So, you feeling lucky?"[/color]
Just as Desna was about to fire, a figure swooped down and landed in front of Yoh. The railgun fired, sending another shockwave hurdling to the sides of Desna, ripping through buildings as the round sped forward, but, seemingly in the same moment, there was a green flash where Yoh and the figure were, and the round tore through half of the city, destroying entire blocks on its trajectory and even tunneling through a mountain in the distance before launching into space.
When the smoke cleared, it seemed like Yoh had been obliterated, but he was still standing, along with a red-haired masked cyborg.
[color=#FF0000]"Leave him alone, Desna."[/color] Paradox ordered.
[color=#FF4500]"Well, if it isn't I-"[/color]
[color=#FF0000]"Can it. You know I don't go by that anymore."[/color] Paradox interrupted.
[color=#FF4500]"Fine, 'Paradox', but I was just having fun!"[/color] Paradox looked back at the massive destruction Desna's railgun hath wrought. [color=#FF0000]"You call destroying half of the city 'fun'?"[/color]
Desna shrugged. [color=#FF4500]"Hey. To each his own."[/color]
Paradox pulled out her Duel Disk. [color=#FF0000]"Alright. If that's how you want to play, then duel me."[/color]
Desna grinned as he reset his Duel Disk. [color=#FF4500]"That's fine with me!"[/color]

Yoh looked at the woman who stood in front of him and Densa and let out a sigh of relief. He slowly crept away and said,"Well...um thank you..whoever you are for standing there and having him not kill me. Looks like you two are busy so...I'll let you two continue and...bye!" He ran towards Shihiro and the others and then said looking back at Densa and the woman,"I'm gonna suggest that we all run outta here before their fight gets outta control." Yoh then looked back and then ran away from the square, hoping the other people would follow him. But he noticed that they weren't coming. He sighed and then walked back. "I can't just run away with you people just staying here...I don't feel like seeing anyone die."

As the smoke cleared around him Haseo began to walk out of were he had been sent not a scratch on him and an angry look in his eyes, [color=blue]That was pretty cheap, can't find a way to win so you pull a trick like that.[/color] Haseo was surprised by the blast and by how he had somehow defended himself, the swirling dark energy around him and finally become visible. He looked over to the woman who had protected the students, [color=blue]You better save Trixy, cuz it looks like I'm not going to be able to do it.[/color] Haseo's head felt like it was about to split in 2, he felt his contentiousness began to fade away as he fell to the floor the dark energy around him protected him from the fall and created a protective bubble around him.

DJ looked at the man and smiled at the offer. He activated his duel disk and dived into the man's thoughts. [i] Suspiciousness clouds this man's mind I wonder why he would be suspicious of me. Hmm well maybe this duel will reveal his true intentions. [/i] DJ thought to himself. "Well I gladly accept. WHo shall go first me or you? Also, may I ask your name?" DJ asked the man. His crystal beasts appeared beside him. "Hmm, this man is little weird. He seems to be suspicious of you DJ." Sapphire Pegasus whispered into his ear. Ruby just sat on DJ's shoulder. DJ was positive that this man couldn't see his spirits.

[i]Somehow, I know he knows I know about the truth of him, an impostor, like them all.[/i] He thought. "My name's Minerva." He said. He could sense beings surrounding the teacher which were similar to his own shadow spirits, as his brother-now-impostor had explained to him, but these were a bit different, not that he could put a finger on it, yet. "So, I suppose I'll go with the first turn, eh? Draw!" And Minerva drew his card. "Right, I set a monster, two cards, and end my turn. Let's see what you got." More information, even a little, that's what he needed right now, and he couldn't wait for the Dusk to report back.

DJ drew five cards and looked at his hand. [i] Hmm, fair start. I can make this work. [/i] DJ thought to himself. "I draw.Well I start by activating Nobleman of Crossout and I choose to destroy your facedown card. I then summon Ancient Gear Knight in Attack mode and activate "Super double summon" to gemini summon him. I will then attack you directly." DJ said as his monster rushed at Minerva. [i] Now lets see if this attack gets through. Consdiering my Knight's effect which means Minerva can't activate spell or traps when I attack with my ancient gear knight.[/i] DJ thought.

The bast subsided and Shihiro was aloud to relax. He had successfully helped Itsu, keep Eria and Ruby safe. "You guys alright?" He asked them. as they responded, he heard Desna explain the weapon he just used to Yoh and was prepared to fire again... but this time, it was aimed at Yoh. Shihiro was about to use his power to create his Katana and charge Desna to stop him when a mysterious Female descends from above and stops him. While relieved he was stopped, he couldn't help but be curious of who this women was. However, he remembered why they were here: Rescuing Trixie. He looks up to see that she was still there, and Unconscious; most likely from the blast. "We need to get Trixie out of harms ways." He said.

Yoh looked at Shihiro and said,"Well...do you need any help?" He knew he was acting like a jerk to them earlier, but right now he didn't feel like seeing anyone hurt. He deactivated his duel disk and put his deck back in his deck box. He looked at Shihiro and said,"If you need help saving your friend, then I'll be glad to help. Just tell me what to do and I'll help in anyway I can." [i]And I just hope that duel between those two girls continues until we're all gone.[/i] Yoh thought to himself. [i]Cause I rather not die today...or tomorrow...or any day for that matter.[/i]

Shihiro thought for a moment and decided that he was the only one here capable of breaking Trixie free from her chains... however he had to go in alone for he didn't want to reveal his powers for he didn't know who was truly friend or foe. He heard Yoh's offer and gave him a nod. "Well since that Psycho's already distracted, one of us may be able to slip pass and get Trixie." walks out in front and faces the group. "I'll go in and get her." He volunteered and with that, he dashes onward toward City Hall. He passes by the area where the mysterious women and the Psycho were dueling; Only hoping that the women can distract him long enough for him to save Trixie.

Yoh let Shihiro get the girl he was talking about. He looked back at the group that he left and said,"While hes gone...I'll make sure you all are safe." He looked back at the unknown woman and Densa's duel. He really hoped this would be drawn out long enough for Shihiro to get back with his friend and everyone escape from the area. He looked back at the group and said with a sigh,"Look, I'm truly sorry that I was acting like some jerk back there. I usually get like that when it comes to Duel Monsters....but right now you all are in good hands. Yoh Yuki won't let any of you get harmed or injured."

"I discard XIII Nobody U.F.O from my hand, so I take the attack, but you take the battle damage." Minerva said. He took a card from his hand and inserted it into the graveyard (Hand 2). Then a weird blue sharp being with a circle with four spikes surrounding it appeared. The Ancient Gear Knight successfully passed the monster and attacked Minerva, but it wasn't he who suffered the damage (DJ LP 2200). "Don't go careless about this now, you don't want to attack me that hard, unless you like losing in a first-turn kill." He said mockingly. "Or maybe you do, seeing as I don't have anymore U.F.O's here in my hand."

DJ smiled at Minerva's strategy, he enjoyed at rewally good challenge. DJ looked at his hand. "Hmm, maybe I won't attack but I will restore some of my lost points with Dian Keto, Cure Master." DJ said as 1000 points were restored to him. " I end my turn with a face-down." DJ said.

Ana Lucia was walking around the city searching for the duel academy. She would learn all she could if only she could remember where the damn building was. [i] Great, my first day here and im already lost. Typical. Man I really need to find the duel academy. I wonder i can ask around.[/i] she thought. Ana Lucia began to look for someone with directions.

"My turn again!" Minerva declared. "Draw!" And Minerva drew his card. He scanned his hand. He had three cards in his hand and two set cards on the field. He knew what to do. "I Summon XIII Nobody Dusk." And then an creature identical to the one currently spying on Itsu and co and enemies appeared (ATK 1300). "Now I activate my trap card, Double Nothing Summon, which allows me to Summon once more during my turn by returning a monster removed from play back to the graveyard." And then he took a card from his hand and inserted it into the S/T zone. "Now I summon XIII Nobody Creeper." And then something different appeared (ATK 700). It stood on its arms, for its legs were too short to support its weight, but overall, it was difficult to explain. "Now, then! [i]Let the wisps of Nothingness gather and turn! The Giant dead and gone, arise the body it shall be! Synchro Summon! XIII Nobody Twilight Thorn![/i]" And the two monsters floated into the sky before black wisps appeared from nowhere and began circling them, before crushing them, and then a much bigger monster fell to the ground (ATK 2600). It was about three times as big as Minerva, difficult to describe overall, and black wisps circled it from all over. "It is unaffected by your card effects and can only be destroyed by a Light or Dark monster's attack or effect. And it isn't even my trump, to tell the truth. Go, destroy Ancient Gear Knight!" And the black wisps circling the giant monster suddenly shot at the gear knight.

DJ watched as Twilight Thorn loomked over his knight. He couldn't destroy his Twilight Thorn with this trap but aqt least it will help. He pressed a button and a trap card flipped up. " I activate the trap card 'Draining Shield'. It negates your attack and damage to me and my knight along with restoring my life by your monster's attack value. Maybe you shouldn't go to hard either. Or maybe you will considering i have no more spell or traps." DJ mocked the younger man.
[i]That was close. Hmm I gotta to take it carefully from here on out. [/i] Dj thought.

"I suppose I'll just set a card and end my turn." Minerva said. He took a card from his hand and inserted it into the spell and trap zone. "I wonder what else you can do, Mr. Kaiba." He then said. [i]Yeah, if you were really Mr. Kaiba. Impostor! All of you are impostors![/i] He shouted in his own mind. [i]HAHAHAHAHA-......Hmmmm.[/i] He caught himself in that moment. [i]The truth, that's what I want to know. This duel needs to answer something....anything! Come on, Mr. Kaiba-Impostor, I want to know answers. I want them. This duel must achieve something![/i]

DJ sighed... [i] This duel is going no where i need to step it up. [/i] DJ thought. He looked at the Twilight Thorn. He knew he had to get rid of it. " My turn. I draw! I summon Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus (1800 ATK)! I now equip him with axe of despair.(2800 ATK) I lay to face downs and end my turn." DJ said. [i] That should hold him off. At least for now though. My face downs will also hold to. [/i] DJ said to himself trying to reassure his pride.

"I thank you," Eria said to Yoh, glad that he's at least on their side. She didn't recognize him from the pictures, so if her secret gets out, he wouldn't turn on her immediately, at least. As the duel continued, Eria could feel the energy emanating from Desna and 'Paradox', and they didn't even begin the duel yet. She wanted to stick around longer to gather magic, but decided against it in the end; since everyone else would probably want to get out of here as soon as possible once Trixie was safe.

Best to be sure, though. "So, will we make a run for it once Trixie is safe?" she asked the group. Especially with Ruby's broken arm, it would be best for them to get as far away from this madness once their goal was met. "It is way too dangerous here."

Yoh looked back at Eria and heard her question. He simply nodded and said,"That would be a good idea. Staying in this square with those two would be a very, very bad idea." He glanced at the strange woman and Densa about to duel. He looked towards the way Shihiro went and said,"Your friend better hurry up...cause if they stop and try and attack us...it won't be a very pretty sight." He grabbed his deck box and opened it, then pulled two cards from it. [i]And if things get out of hand...I'll just have to summon up my two ace cards to help me out.[/i] he thought as he looked at the two cards in his hand.

"My turn, draw!" Minerva said before drawing his card. "I activate my set card, Epic Draw. Whenever I draw a card during my draw phase, I can draw one more card." And so Minerva drew another card. "I summon XIII Nobody Sorcerer." And a floating priest-like thing that was difficult to describe appeared (ATK 400). "When summoned, I can draw one card from my deck for every XIII monster I control, but then I have to send half the cards I drew to the graveyard. In this case, I draw two." And he drew two cards, before sending one to the graveyard. "It seems I didn't draw my lucky card this time. Oh well, I Special Summon XIII Nobody Speeder." And a monster that somewhat resembles a small space shuttle appeared (ATK 800). "See, I can Special Summon it to the field if I control a XIII Nobody. And it can attack directly, so go, Speeder!" And the ship quickly passed the Sapphire Pegasus and pierced through DJ, kind of (DJ LP 5000). "I then switch Twilight Thorn to defense position (DEF 2000) and end my turn."

Shihiro entered the building through a broken window caused by the explosion. The main hall was a mess with debris scattered all over the room. He made is way to the door to the stairs assuming the power was out and thus the elevator was not an option. He barges into stairway the proceeds to run up the staircase. Flight after flight, he climbed until after climbing five flights, he made to the top. Shihiro took a moment to catch his breath before exiting the stairway There, just a few feet away was Trixie suspended a few inches above the roof with her back facing him. "Hey Trixie, are you alright!?!?" He shouted at her.

Trixie, rather shaken by the events, saw Shihiro. [color=#0000CD]"Do I look alright to you?!?"[/color] She snapped. [color=#0000CD]"Now get me down!"[/color]

Meanwhile, Itsu was in awe at the epic battle between the two powerhouses. They had summoned very powerful monsters, and were now duking it out. Waves of energy were constantly being unleashed as their attacks collided, and Itsu was getting fed up with the pointless and destructive displays of power. She ran towards the battlefield. [color=#FF69B4]"You two just STOP!!!"[/color] She cried out as their attacks fired again, heading straigh towards Itsu. However, Itsu held out her arms to stop the attacks, and a bright light erupted from her.

Protheus dropped his pen while writing his will. Something had just happened, and released a lot of energy. What on earth was happening?

The Dusk watched the entire battle. He was amazed by their prowess, and yet it was dull compared to the battle with the three Wicked Gods from his and Minerva's previous battle together. He watched as the primary target ran into the battlefield just as the strongest attacks were executed. [font=courier]Fool.[/font] He said into her mind as she got caught in between, and then a bright light erupted from her, somehow surprising Dusk enough to forget to keep his invisibility on. He was also very close to the battle, just staring at them at a very close range. But he wasn't worried about damage, for he was intangible.

Eria saw that Itsu was getting agitated and moved towards her to calm her down. Before she could say anything, Itsu ran off to face the two powerful beings. Eria was not amused at her sudden display of anger.

"ITSU!" Eria yelled, trying to call her back. "DO NOT BE FOOLISH!" Before she could do anything else, though, blasts of energy raced towards Itsu. Eria braced herself; things might have gotten messy, but instead a Itsu began emitting a blinding light.

"What... what is that?" Eria said to herself before having to shut her eyes due to the intense light Itsu was radiating. Eria wanted to learn the truth... she had a feeling one of the pieces would show itself here.
