[color=navy]Rahl drew his second card and laughed, "I'm going out on a limb here and guessing that you and that spectator over there are both under the impression that Malicious Fiend is my Ace Monster, correct?" He asked, setting one card and activating the card he just drew, Advance Draw, "Advance Draw Releases Malicious Fiend, allowing me to Draw two cards and bring out my strongest Monster." The Evil Hero glowed a dark purple and vanished as Rahl added two cards from his Deck to his hand, smiling as he saw the second one. "Perfect." He said, triggering his face-down "First, I Activate Dark Calling, Fusing my Evil Hero Malicious Edge and my Power Giant in my Graveyard into Evil Hero Dark Gaia!" The two Monsters appeared back on the field and warped into a single humanoid Fiend clad in what could either be stone or metal.[/color]

[color=navy]"Now, whenever Dark Gaia Attacks, all your Monsters change to Attack Position." The Evil Hero slammed one hand into the ground and whips of stone wrapped around each of David's Monsters, forcing them into an offensive stance, except Guardian, who was just sort of pushed forward slightly. "Now, Dark Gaia, attack his Infernity Necromancer! Dark Catastrophe!" As soon as Dark Gaia launched his attack, Rahl activated the second card he drew with Advance Draw, "And don't think any of your face-downs can save you. I activate the Spell Card [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Hand-to-Hand_Combat"]Hand-to-Hand Combat[/url], negating all your effects until the end of the Damage Step.[/color]

Haseo felt terrible about what had happened, he had been able to dodge the rocks thrown at him but still the fact he had made a girl cry made him feel terrible and he'd probably spend the night trying to figure out how to make it up to her. Haseo decided to head back to his dorm but realized from the street signs that he for some reason had gone in the wrong direction and would need to pass through the city square to make it back to his room, he thought about calling his sister but decided that he would live more independently and would figure this out by himself.
While he was walking one of his classmates came up to him and and asked him about Itsu, he was surprised but gave the directions anyway and returned to on his route.

"Quite frankly, I knew Dark Gaia was your ace," David said with a chuckle. He tensed as his monsters shifted to Attack Position, his hand twitching at the cards he could use to stop the attack. Before he got the chance, however, Rahl activated his Spell.

"Now that's interesting, but it overlooks one key detail," he warned. "I can chain to this effect before it resolves. Then my Effect will go through before any negation things happen. I activate Chaos Burst!" One of David's facedown cards flipped up, displaying a monster emerging from the ground with great destruction.

"When you attack, I can Tribute one monster on my Field, such as Necromancer, to destroy the attacking monster," David explained. "Afterwards, you take 1000 points of damage."

Shihiro sees the ice coming. He holds up his arm with his duel disk attached and shields his face. The ice bounces of his duel disk as they impacted. "chilling..." he commented. The effect of the spell card stops Davids trap card as a block of ice forces it face down then quickly melts into a large pool of water and spills out all over the field. The water comes toward Shihiro however it only reached as high as the soles of his shoes. "Good thing I'm far enough away..." He understood now why the Evil Hero Duelist said he hated using that card.

Shihiro raised an eyebrow when he assumed that we assumed Malicious Fiend was his strongest monster. That made him realize that he had forgotten about one such monster the Evil Hero duelist had. [i]"Dark Gaia..."[/i] And sure enough, that monster was summoned. Good thing David had such a trap to deal with it upon its assault.

[color=navy]"My Ace is not a Monster card at all." Rahl said, activating his last card, "I activate Fusion Barrier. If a Fusion Monster I control would be destroyed, I can remove from play one Fusion Monster in my Graveyard to prevent its destruction for one turn." Lightning Golem appeared on the field and shoved Dark Gaia out of the way of the blast, though the backlash destroyed him and hit Rahl square in the shoulder of his flesh arm, "Unfortunately, your Trap's other effect still goes through and my Life Points still get affected." He sighed and looked at his shoulder. Blood was already starting to well up, but his dark coat hid it fairly well, "That's gonna bruise." He muttered to David, glad that he carried around a small roll of gauze on the inside pocket of his coat in case he got into a Duel.[/color]

"Unless your Fusion Barrier also restricts you from attacking in some form, Dark Gaia is still able to attack this turn, as Chaos Burst does not strictly negate the attack," David conceded, quickly doing the math. Attacking Infernity Guardian would take out 4500 Lifepoints, and Infernity Archfiend would create damage of 3900. Either outcome was the same: He only had 3400 LP left, and the effect of Hand-to-Hand Combat would still be in effect, negating his other effects until after Damage Calculation, which had not occurred at this point in the Battle. "If you are able to attack without a penalty, we can end the duel now in your victory, if you prefer not to perform a finishing blow. Otherwise, continue."

[color=navy]"It's been fun." Rahl told David with a friendly smile, "Evil Hero Dark Gaia, destroy his Infernity Archfiend. Dark Catastrophe!" Rahl's most powerful Monster blasted the Infernity to bits, but made sure to aim the blast straight up into the sky. As soon as the attack was finished, all their cards vanished and Rahl's prosthetic arm's Duel Disk folded back in on itself as he walked towards David and extended one hand to him, "Nice game." He said with a smile, "It's not every day that someone gets my Life Points down that much, I'm impressed. I'm sure if you and Rayos ever Duel, you're gonna destroy him..." [i]Unless his powers drive you into madness before you get a chance...[/i] He added mentally, though his facial expression never changed.[/color]

"Same to you," David said, accepting Rahl's hand and smiling. "Yeah, I hope so," he said, also thinking about Rayos' sadistic and violent tendencies. One by one, he removed his facedown cards from his Spell and Trap card zones, briefly showing them to Rahl, revealing their identities as 'Infernity Reflector', 'Dimension Wall', and 'Escape from the Dark Dimension', as well as the known 'Infernity Break'. The card in his hand was 'Book of Moon'.

"It was a good game," he said, more to himself than Rahl. [i]I need to make this deck faster...more direct than passive, while keeping the Burn theme.[/i]

Shihiro bobbed his eyes when The Evil Hero duelist revealed that Fusion Barrier was his true ace card. He saw why for it allowed him to save his Dark Gaia from destruction. While he saved his monster, he couldn't protect him from the damage. Shihiro admired David for admitting possible defeat. And sure enough, The Evil Hero duelist delivered the final blow, ending the duel. He was pleased that this duelist had somewhat control over his power and kept David from getting hurt. He decides to walk up to them and complement on their duel. He claps as he approaches. "That was a nice duel." He said. He looks at David. "Man you just haven't been lucky enough to score a win have you?" He laughed as he patted his shoulder. "Don't worry you'll get him next time." He turns to face the Evil Hero Duelist "As for you, I'm impressed you have enough control over your power to prevent casualties... um... your name?" He asked. "I'm Shihiro.

[color=navy]Rahl shook Shihiro's hand as well, squeezing just enough to make the Samurai Duelist's knuckles pop, "I'm Rahl." He said with a smile, "And it's not about control. I have absolutely no control over my curse, but mine's nowhere near as strong as my brother's, and, unlike him, I make a point of it to aim away from anyone if I can, and aim for the shoulder of their non-dominant arm if I can't." He shrugged and winced, clutching his wounded arm, the blood visibly against the gunmetal gray of his fingers. "I think we met at school, during the exams, right?" He asked, ignoring the pain in his arm as best he could.[/color]

Shihiro bared the pain from the handshake quite well; only making a slight grunt and eye twitch. "That's quite a grip..." He chuckled as he retracted his hand and gave a few good cracks to straiten it out. He went on to mention about encountering him and his twin during the tests earlier. "Yes we did..." He answered. "Although it wasn't the most pleasant of meetings..." He mentioned. "Speaking of which... where is your brother? I hope he's not causing any trouble..." He asked.

"Apparently not," David told Shihiro with a sad smile. "That's my third loss today. Sheesh, maybe I'm just having an off-day, or I need to take some time to tweak my deck some more. These losses did let me see some weaknesses in the strategy, so it's a start." Despite the chipper tone, David was annoyed. This loss wasn't as bad as the one against Haseo, or as close as his game with Shihiro, but he felt something was missing, something that could really improve his deck if he could just figure out where the deck's loss of balance was.

"This is... Itsu's... house." Eria stood in front of the home hunched over, since she was out of breath from having to run the entire way to the house, once she knew where it was. She thought about waiting to catch her breath to knock on the door, but decided to go now, as her being out of breath would lend some credence to her story. With her plan decided, she ran up to the door and knocked on it furiously.

"Itsu?" Eria yelled, not even waiting for someone to answer the door. "Itsu?! If you are in there please answer!"

And then the Dusk was suddenly alert. The Dusk quickly left his targets and stared at the girl, taking in every detail. He was invisible and intangible, he knew he couldn't be noticed. Even his worldly neighbors, the Duel Spirits, could only so much as sense him, and they can't even alert anyone. He decided he may as well go questioning the girl, before eliminating her. She was not a target that his master had pointed out, and thus she had no business. In fact, the Dusk knew the master's memory had completely disappeared and replaced with a fake one, but he didn't care. The master never asked HIM for the truth, did he now? [font=Courier]You shall not disturb my mission. What is your business?[/font] He transmitted into her mind, which was surprisingly large for someone like her. He assumed she would assume it was just her imagination or something, but he would have to see how she would react. He couldn't do it on the targets due to the Duel Sprits so close by, but this one would be easy.

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

Itsu sniffled. [color=#FF69B4]"Thank you, Ruby. That meant a lot to me."[/color] She then heard a pounding on her door, so she went to investigate. She opened the door to find Eria outside, but Eria was out of breath and wild-eyed. [color=#FF69B4]"Eria! What a surprise! You alright? You look a bit out of breath!"[/color] Itsu stood aside, offering for Eria to come inside. [color=#FF69B4]"Why don't you come on in? I could fix something up for you if you're hungry, or I have plenty to drink if you're thirsty! I also have a rather comfy couch. Ruby's here as well! I'm sure the three of us can find something to do!"[/color]

And the Dusk had to retreat. He was too late. But things were finally becoming interesting. He would finally have something good to report. And so he retreated back into the house. [font=Courier]Things to report on, finally I have.[/font]

When Protheus was alone again, he began thinking once more. For some reason, he summoned his Deck and looked about it. Among the cards were the Twilight One. It had the image of a black gigantic hawk. It was one of his most powerful cards. And then he summoned his Extra Deck, and took out a card, or would have, but the power from the card distorted time and Protheus ended up holding it before he took it out, because he had taken it out in the previous future. It had the image of a black phoenix, and was a Dark Synchro monster. It was called the Original Twilight One. He had never been able to summon it before, always because he either won or lost before that happened. But he had a feeling he would need to use the card someday. This was the card that finished off worlds after they have been battered by Protheus's previous army. But he had thrown his own army into space, deeming them useless. His new army was much better, although smaller. It works, however.

"There is... no time, Itsu!" Eroa replied, still crouching over. The truth was, Eria would love to just hang out, especially since this Itsu seemed friendly enough. Unfortunately, she had a mission. "It is an emergen-GAH!" Eria suddenly grabbed hold of her head and knelt down to the ground. With her memories still in a fragile state, and her unique physio-psychology, Dusk's attempt to mentally communicate with the Eria caused her to recoil with pain. Sure, it won't hurt her at all once her memories settle, but it's still painful now.

"What... was that?" Eria asked outloud to no one in particular. She was able to hear something through the sudden pain, something about disturbing some mission. [I]Sorry,[/I] she mentally thought, not sure if it'll reach whatever caused the pain. [I]I have something I must do[/I]. She then turned back to Itsu. "I am sorry, I do not know what that sudden pain was..."

The Dusk saw that the person's mind was damaged due to his attempts of communication. He observed this fact, and thought of two reasons. Reason number 1, he had somehow accidentally attacked her. Reason number 2, her mind had recently experienced something massive, and is thus fragile until recovery. The second reason was more plausible. And then he concluded that she had regained herself. That piece of information he would keep to himself, although he would still share his possible reasons, although not his answer, to the master. The master hasn't regained himself yet, and knew nothing of his history with the Dusk as they fought the three Malefic leaders and Wicked Gods themselves. He could jog the master's memory, but he felt it wasn't time yet. He was aware of her fragile state, and also analyzed what she had mentally replied to him. Something she must do. He continued to watch her, even more closely than his primary and secondary targets.

Itsu was now focused on Eria intensely. She caught the girl as she dropped to the ground, and knelt next to her, rubbing the girl's back. [color=#FF69B4]"Eria, what's wrong? What is the emergency?"[/color] Itsu looked around to see what was causing Eria so much discomfort, only to catch something out of the corner of her eye. [i][color=#FF69B4]<What the...?>[/color][/i]

Jenny and Bast were also trying to see the cause of Eria's panic, but their searching was fruitless.

Paradox watched the sun finally set, and the restrictions of the day fade away. She could now operate normally without hindrance.

Vicky and Tori, who had been waiting for this moment, suddenly lashed out at each other, dealing and blocking blows rapidly, almost too fast for anyone to keep up.

Suddenly, Shihiro was yanked into darkness by an invisible hand, and it would seem as if he just popped into thin air in the outside. Protheus was holding Shihiro's collar, and then threw him across the small space that he had created. A ball of light appeared at the time, putting light on the place. They were in an endless void, although they could see each other. They were both on a single gigantic rock. Around the rock, there were lots and lots of exclusively purple auras. Protheus looked like as though he had just stopped laughing after finding out that the joke was the truth. [color=gray]"You're supposed to be dead, destroyed like the rest of your world."[/color] He quietly said to Shihiro. [color=gray]"I thought I had recognized you. I've decided that I shall destroy you right now. If you're wondering why me, the principal is doing this, then you shall wonder for all eternity. It's time, [i]Shihiro[/i]. I should have done this a long time ago. Prepare yourself for the afterlife! We are going to Duel!"[/color] And then Protheus raised his left hand and a Duel Disk appeared in it, appearing to be made of some form of black stone.

"GWAAA!!!" Shihiro cried as he was suddenly and out of nowhere yanked from Rhal and David as well as the whole city scene and pulled into complete darkness. He then found himself in the grips of a menacing man. "What... the...?" He struggled to say while being strangled. The man then throws him to the ground. He frantically gets to his feet as a large ball of light appeared, piercing through the darkness and revealing a rock platform on which they stood upon with purple flame-like auras outlining the sides of the rock. Everything outside was just pitch black darkness. "Where the hell am I...?" His attention was then drawn to the voice of the man. His words were both chilling and confusing. [i]"What is he talking about...?"[/i] Just then a sharp stinging pain jolts in his head. He grips his head in pain as a split second image of two figures close together appeared in his mind. It was blurred and he couldn't make out any details at all. [i]"What... was that...?"[/i] He pondered on that image for a second before his attention was drawn yet again to the man. He now challenged him to a duel. Shihiro swallowed his fear and stared the man down. [i]"The same thing happened to Eria only that was a women. Who's this man...? He must be working together with her..."[/i] He thought "I don't know what kind of sick game you and that women who took Eria are playing. But if dueling you is going to get me the hell out of here, then so-be-it." He declared. He lifts up his left arm and activates his duel disk. He then goes to draw five cards. "The first turn is yours." He offered as he always did.

"Emergency..." Eria repeated while being helped back to her feet by Itsu. "Someone... kidnapped Trixie." She held her head as she said that and finally shook off the rest of the pain, allowing her to speak clearly again. "They said they were taking her to the town square... and I think I heard him mention your name, Itsu." She took a few breaths, and allowed her words to sink in. "I do not know if you will be safe here.", she added.

David blinked. "Wait, did Shihiro just take off?" he asked, looking around. Seeing no sign of the Samurai duelist, he frowned. [i]That was odd...I don't remember him saying that he was leaving. Maybe I'm just getting tired.[/i] No sooner had the thought crossed his mind, he gave a yawn, stifling it with his hand. "Sheesh, guess my day took more out of me than I thought," he told Rahl. "I'm going to head back, then, get some sleep."

[i]Still...it is odd that he disappeared like that. Sort of like those duelists after class,[/i] David mused to himself.

Protheus drew his cards. [color=gray]"My power has grown far beyond mortal comprehension. You cannot beat me. And come on now, I'm the [i]principal[/i] of your school, and you seriously don't recognize me? No matter, let's get this Duel underway, draw."[/color] And Protheus drew his next card. [color=gray]"I Summon Dark One Mu."[/color] And then a slim priest in black appeared, with a talisman with strange symbols attached to its hat which covered its face (ATK 1500). [color=gray]"When Mu is summoned and there are no monsters on my field, I can Special Summon Dark One Nu."[/color] And then a priest identical to Mu appeared, only the markings on its talisman were different (ATK 1900). [color=gray]"And when Dark One Nu is summoned and there are no cards in my graveyard, I can Special Summon Dark One Xi."[/color] And a third priest identical to the first two appeared, only with more different markings on its talisman (ATK 1300).
[color=gray]"When Dark One Xi is summoned and there are no spell or trap cards on the field, I can Special Summon Dark One Pi."[/color] And yet another priest appeared, with even more different markings on its talisman, and a bell was attacked to the top of its hat (ATK 300). [color=gray]"And when Dark One Pi is summoned and I control three other monsters.....I can Special Summon Dark One Rho."[/color] And a final priest identical to all the other ones appeared, with even more different markings on its talisman and black bird wings (ATK 2800). [color=gray]"Now I set five cards and end my turn. Can you feel my power?"[/color]

"You're the principal of my school...? Forgive me. I easily forget people if they only appear once in a blue moon... Protheus was it...? uugh!" All of a sudden, he is hit with another skull splitting headache and an image of a menacing silhouette of a monstrous army flashes in his mind for a split second. [i]"Again...?"[/i] He quickly recovers and observes Protheus' move. In one turn he swarms the entire field with monsters and sets his whole hand. Shihiro's eyes widen. [i]"All that in just one turn...!?"[/i] Protheus goes on to ask if he can feel his power. Indeed he could. Shihiro felt like his entire body was being weighed down by an unseen force. It felt uncomfortable just to stand. [i]"What's... with this guy...?"[/i] He doesn't answer Protheus and instead tries to keep a straight face as he begins his turn. Already he was in a bind: five monsters. He could easily deal with them... but his five set cards had him worried. There's one card that could help deal with them. "My turn... Draw!" He looks at the card he drew. It wasn't a card he could use right away for he goes on to add it to hand. He selects another card. "I summon The Six Samurai - Nisashi in attack position!" He declared as he slapped the card onto the disk. A green neon cybernetic armored Samurai wielding a Katana in one hand appeared on the field. He rested his other hand on his sheathed Wakazashi; ready to draw it when the time called for it. (ATK 1400)

"I then activate the spell card Double Summon! With this, I can summon again! Come, The Six Samurai - Zanji!" Another Samurai but with Orange Neon Cybernetic armor and a Naginata appears on the field. (ATK 1800)

"Now that Nisashi is accompanied by another Six Samurai, he now has the ability to attack twice!" as he said this, Nisashi unsheathed his Wakazashi. "And that's perfect for I then equip Nisashi with Fighting Spirit!" The card appears behind Nisashi and he is infused with power as a golden aura envelopes him. "For each monster you control, Nisashi gains 300 attack points! I count five monsters so that increases his attack by 1500!" (ATK 2900)

"Go, Nisashi, attack Dark One Rho!" upon his command Nisashi charges forward and comes within striking distance of Rho in seconds.
