Haseo was surprised by the girls actions, even though his sister got mad she had never threatened to hurt anyone, "Sorry if I got part of it wrong but thats whats been going around school, and apparently she's been stripping girls and having her way with them, and even started a club of followers who are willing to do anything for her to play with them." Haseo realized that the rock was probably going to go at him with that last comment and he'd need some defense against it. "Um, this is a duel academy so if you want to hurt me why not with your cards instead of with violence."
(Rumor started as someone saying that Itsu stripped her with her eyes and evolved from there.)

Itsu was very upset at the nasty rumors about her, and she ran back into her house crying.

Trixie awoke to find herself with something tied tightly around her waist, and no support underneath her feet. She looked down, only to see that she was dangling from a rope several stories up. After her initial wave of panic, she discovered that she was hanging from City Hall in Crossing Square.
"Lovely view, huh?"
Trixie turned to see the sunglasses man from earlier, now hovering in the air using what appeared to be rocket boots.
"You won't get away with kidnapping me!" She threatened.
"I'm afraid you're right, but I will succeed in luring out your friend."
Trixie's eyes widened. "You're after Itsu..."
The man grinned maliciously. "Precisely."

Rahl chuckled as he drew his new card, "I discard the Level 2 Evil Hero Infernal Prodigy to Special Summon Power Giant." A thin human in vaguely bat-like armor appeared next to Black Onyx, but was encased in multicolored rocks which shattered into Power Giant, "Now, Power Giant, attack his Infernity Archfiend!" The Rock-type gripped the Archfiend by the throat and tossed it into the air. It then led its target for a moment and shot a single crystal spike at it.

"You're not worth the time it takes to get my Deck out." Ruby said, picking up a second rock and chucking it at Haseo's knees, "Now, get away from me before I aim higher." The hybrid warned, "And make sure to spread the word about Itsu. She is one hundred percent, completely straight. Got that?" She turned around and saw Itsu crying "Tomorrow, I am kicking your ass." She told Haseo, throwing the first rock at him and running after Itsu.

Power Giant... David thought. When that monster attacks, during the course of that attack, Effect Damage is negated. A troublesome card in a Burn scenario.

"I activate Infernity Inferno! By discarding up to two cards from my hand, such as these two," David said, sending the cards he held into the Graveyard, the cards being glimpsed as Infernity Destroyer and Infernity Beetle. "I then send Infernity monsters from my deck equal to the number of cards I discarded. I'll send Infernity Avenger and Infernity Necromancer!"

Once this was done, he watched as his Archfiend shattered apart at the fist of Rahl's monster.

LP: 3400

"When my hand is empty and a monster is destroyed in Battle, I can Special Summon my Infernity Avenger, and its level becomes equal to that of the destroyed monsters," David said, the gun-toting fiend materializing and cackling. (Lvl 1 -> Lvl 4, 0/0)

"Anything else?" he asked.

Rahl chuckled and snapped his fingers, causing his Trap Card, Desperado Battle to activate, "Yes, actually." He said, smirking, "I'm betting that one of your face-downs is going to revive your Archfiend so you can Synchro Summon Infernity Doom Dragon. Am I right?" He asked, "Regardless, you can't Synchro Summon from the Graveyard, so, Desperado Battle's effect activates. By reducing Power Giant's ATK by 1000 until the End Phase, he can attack once more this turn. Power Giant, Destroy his Avenger!" Rahl said as Power Giant's armor shed from his form, making him look fairly bishounen. The newly slimmed Monster repeated his attack from before, tossing Avenger into the air and sniping at it with a single crystal spike.

"I activate Infernity Force!" David replied, one of his facedowns flipping faceup. "When an 'Infernity' monster is attacked while my hand is empty, I destroy the attacking monster, and revive one 'Infernity' monster from my Graveyard. So your Power Giant will be destroyed, and my Infernity Archfiend will be revived."

David chuckled slightly. "You were on the right track with my strategy, I'll give you that much," he said. The Trap glowed, an aura surrounding Power Giant. At the same time, David's graveyard ejected his Infernity Archfiend.

Rahl snapped his fingers again and Dark Bribe activated itself, "I really don't have to explain such a common card to you, do I?" He asked as Power Giant's gem spike ripped through the aura around Infernity Avenger, causing the Monster to have to shoot yet another spike at it, "Just because the Evil Heroes I use are straight forward bruisers doesn't mean every combo I make relies on brute force like my brother." He chuckled, "On the contrary, I take a more patient approach, whittling out your Life Points if I can while countering every strategy of yours that I can."

"I hate that card," David sighed, drawing a card and watching as his Trap shattered, along with his monster. "I have no further counters to make to your move. Do you have anything to add?" he asked, looking carefully at Rahl's field in front of him. He has two monsters on the field, one with 2200 ATK, the other 2000 DEF that I can't destroy in battle except by a Synchro monster. He currently has 2 cards in his hand and no Spells or Traps. I have no monsters and am trailing by 600 Lifepoints, with one facedown card and a card in hand. However, I also have massive combo potential thanks to my filled Graveyard.

((Thanks, I probably never woulda caught that))

Rahl looked at his last card and considered his move, "Hmm, I think I'll set this card face down." He said, shrugging and leaving his last card in his hand, "That's all I've got for now. Time for you make your counterattack." The Evil Hero Duelist studied the sole card in his hand and his face down Everything's falling into place. He thought, Black Onyx, your ascension is imminent, my friend.

((If this incarnation of Rahl gets a Duel Spirit, which I'm not sure about thus far, it's going to be Black Onyx.))

Ruby sat Itsu down on the couch and wrapped her arms around her best friend-turned-sister, "It's OK, Itsy." The blue haired hybrid with a somewhat nonsensical name whispered, hugging the girl as she cried, "No one's going to believe that you're a lesbian, and anyone that does is going to have a series of unfortunate-but-non-lethal accidents until they stop."

Eria watched as the person walked away. The name 'Desna' popped into her head after he was gone, though it would have been nice to know his name while he was speaking to her. Anyway, she stopped loitering and decided to fulfill his request of luring Itsu to the square. If she remembered correctly, Trixie was a close friend of Itsu... the real Itsu, anyway. Will the false one act similarly? She wasn't sure, but it was worth a shot.

Of course, the problem was that she had no idea where the current Itsu lived. Sure she could go back to the school and look up the records, but would Itsu be home? Eria broke into a run, and turned to head towards the school. On her way, however, she ran into Haseo, one of her classmates. Perhaps he knows something...

"Excuse me! Haseo!" Eria ran up towards him, waving her hand in the air to get his attention. "Haseo, sorry to bother you," Eria said, breathing heavily. "But would you happen to know where Itsu Solace is?"

"Be very careful what you anticipate," David warned with a smile. "My turn!" With that, he drew a card and studied the field. Power Giant is a Rock type monster, and his Onyx is a fiend. If he has some sort of Fusion card permitting him to summon an Evil Hero during my turn, he can Summon out his Dark Gaia, but if he does, it'll have 3000 ATK. He only has one card facedown on the field, however, and his combo during the test required two. That said, I can't assume too much about his deck.

"I set 2 cards and activate Zero-Max!" David said, two new hologram cards appearing in front of him, one of them flipping faceup. "When my hand is at 0, I Special Summon one 'Infernity' monster from my Graveyard, and afterwards, all monsters on the field with less ATK are destroyed. I choose Infernity Destroyer! With an ATK of 2300, all of your monsters will be destroyed."

(Response? If not...)

A large bipedal fiend appeared, growling. (Lvl 6, 2300/1000) The active Zero-Max expelled a pink sphere that encompassed Rahl's field to destroy his monsters.

"During the turn I activate Zero-Max, I can't battle. Turn End," David stated.

"You think that having my Monsters in the Graveyard is going to stop me from Fusing them?" Rahl asked with a chuckle as he drew his card, "I activate Dark Calling, Fusing my Evil Hero Black Onyx in my Graveyard with the Evil Hero Black Lightning in my hand." Black Onxy reappeared on the field and was joined by a demonic Fiend made of black and gold lightning. The two were then pulled together and Fused into Evil Hero Lightning Golem, "Now, Lightning Golem's effect activates, Destroying your Destroyer, a fitting punishment for condemning him and Power Giant to the Graveyard, don't you think?" The Evil Hero Duelist asked.

((If no response...))

The immortal hybrid studied David's facial expressions and his face-downs before deciding that it wasn't worth risking an attack, "And I think I'll end my turn with that." He said with a nod.

"Fair enough," David said, wincing when his Destroyer broke apart into pixels from the Lightning Golem's electricity. Once per turn, he can costlessly destroy my monsters, he thought to himself. Even if it was to preserve his Handless Combo, it felt like it would be pointless to keep throwing out monsters one at a time. He still has a card facedown, so he's not defenseless. I still must tread carefully

"My turn!" he announced, looking at the drawn card. "I summon Infernity Reloader!" A monster with a gun-barrel body materialized before him. (Lvl 1, 900/0) "Once per turn, when my hand is at 0, I can draw 1 card from my deck. If it's a monster card, you take 200 points of damage for every level star. Otherwise, I take 500 points of damage."

Reloader rolled forward, spinning its gun barrels and focusing one end at Rahl, the other at David. The bullets in the chamber slowly turned as David drew his card. There was a click as a bullet found its way into the barrel, preparing to fire.

"Dark Grepher is level four. 800 points of damage," David announced, turning the monster card around. Reloader launched four shots at Rahl and David nodded. "Turn End."

Rahl looked at his new card, "Lightning Golem's effect activates, destroying Infernity Reloader." A bolt of lightning shot out of the sky, wrapped around Infernity Reloader, and crushed it into bits, "And then I think I'll end my turn like that, short, simple and to the point." Rahl told David, I can't risking my Golem's existence by getting arrogant and charging in. Either one of his face-downs could be designed to wipe out my Monster. It's better to just play it safe. He looked at the card in his hand and a grin flashed over his eyes, At least, until I can make use of this card, that is.

"Then it's my draw," David said, looking at the card he drew. That's the second time he passed up an opportunity to attack. Either my facedowns are worrying him or he's baiting me. "I activate Allure of Darkness! I draw 2 cards, and remove one DARK monster from my hand from play. If I don't have one to remove, I lose my hand!"

He flicked two cards smoothly from his deck. "I remove Dark Grepher from play," he announced calmly, studying his two new cards. "I set a card and summon Infernity Guardian!" Appearing before David was a monster shaped like a black shield. Where an emblem might be, a flaming skull was instead. (Lvl 4 1200/1700)

"And in that event," David reminded him. "I'll probably have up to five Spells and Traps protecting me by the time Guardian's effect is gone, assuming I don't just get one of my revival cards and lay waste to you. My turn!" he drew, looking at it, then looking up at the field. He just keeps passing his turn without attacking. Is he waiting for something?

"I activate Dark Eruption! This Spell lets me add one DARK monster with 1500 ATK or less from my Graveyard to my hand!" David announced. His graveyard ejected a card and David showed it to Rahl. "I choose Infernity Necromancer! And then I'll Summon it!" A skeletal being draped in a flowing robe appeared, and David promptly turned the card horizontal. (Lvl 3, 0/2000)

(Response? If not..)

"I activate Necromancer's effect! Once per turn, when my hand is at 0, I can Special Summon one 'Infernity' monster from my Graveyard, and I choose Infernity Avenger!" With a wave of the sorcerer's hands, a third monster appeared, grinning wickedly and brandishing its pistols. (Lvl 1, 0/0)

"I tune my level one Infernity Avenger, level four Infernity Guardian, and Level three Infernity Necromancer!" The gunslinger rose into the air, disappearing into a single ring which the others passed through, fading into four and three respective stars of light, and expanding into a pillar of white light.

"Synchro Summon: Infernity Death Dragon!" (Lvl 8, 3000/2400) David's ace monster growled at the opposing Evil Hero, its eyes glaring at its adversary.

"I activate Death Dragon's effect! Once per turn, when my hand is at 0, I destroy one opposing monster, and inflict Damage equal to half that monster's ATK! I choose your Lightning Golem! In exchange, Death Dragon cannot battle this turn."

Shihiro continued to observe the duel, with much intensity. "This Evil Hero duelist is good... mixing calculated strategies with shear brute force." He thought. He was impressed by how he countered David's attack by fusion summoning Lightning Golem. "That's gonna be troublesome..." As the turns went by, he noticed that the Evil Hero duelist was only using the effect of Lightning Golem and not attacking. "He's either being too cautious... or he's waiting for something..." Shihiro let out a light chuckle when David synchro summons Infinity Death Dragon. "Nicely done."

Rahl smirked as Infernity Death Dragon's Summoning sequence rewound itself, leaving David with his three low level Monsters, "Really? You're honestly going to try a Synchro Summon?" He asked David, snapping his fingers, which caused his final face-down to trigger, Discord, "I'm sure as a Synchro user you know all about this little thing, am I right?" He asked with a chuckle, "Thanks to my little Trap, your Dragon gets bumped back to your Extra Deck and your Monsters never leave the field. David couldn't help but frown at that. Okay, so Synchros are out this time. There should be something else I can do, however. He of course had no hand, so he looked between his three monsters before shrugging. He knew what each of his facedowns cards were, and none of them were going to help him against Discord. Without the use of Synchro monsters, Infernity Destroyer was the strongest monster in his deck, but fell short by 100 ATK of the Lightning Golem. "In that case, I just switch Guardian to defense position and end my turn," he said, looking back over at Rahl.

Rahl closed his eyes as a third card was added to his hand. He opened his eyes and looked at it, a wolfish smile arcing across his features, "I activate Lightning Golem's effect, destroying Infernity Avenger." Another bolt of lightning shot out of the sky and ripped the small gunslinger Fiend to shreds, "Now, I think I'll Activate the Spell Card Dark Fusion, Fusing Evil Hero Lightning Golem on my field with Evil Hero Malicious Edge in my hand!" His armored giant was joined by a leather clad sadistic looking Fiend with three claws shooting out just above his knuckles. The two Heroes-in-name-only then warped together into a leather clad human with blades shooting out of his hair and knuckles and two gigantic wings shooting out of his back, "Arise, Evil Hero Malicious Fiend!" He shouted, summoning out his lesser ace Monster, "Now, I'll end my turn and have my Fiend do all the work for me." "I have no reason to be concerned. Malicious Fiend's effect only occurs during the Battle Phase, so if I don't enter my Battle Phase, I won't be forced to attack," David said, drawing his card. Why did he choose to destroy Avenger as opposed to Necromancer? he wondered. Even if I destroy Discord, Necromancer has access to almost every Infernity I keep in my deck, including Avenger. So long as my hand is empty, I can revive one monster per turn. Furthermore, even though Dark Fusion gave his monster immunity from being targeted for the turn, he still chose not to attack.

David looked at the card he drew. Just how many defensive cards do I use? "I set a card! Then I activate Necromancer's effect to Special Summon Infernity Archfiend!"

The necromancer waved its arms and the robed fiend appeared yet again. (Lvl 4, 1800/1200) "It was Special Summoned when my hand was at 0, so I add one Infernity card from my deck to my hand. I'll put an end to this stalling with Infernity Break! I set a card. Turn End!"

Shihiro frowned upon the Evil Hero duelist's counter to David's Synchro monster. "Such a cowardly approach..." He thought. Shihiro believed that true duelists don't resort to using such cards to deal with your opponent's monsters. But of course he knew full well not everyone believed in such philosophy. "That's why I'm forced to use cards such as Dark Bribe..." He scoffed and stopped thinking of his idea of a perfect duel and focused on the one at hand. Now the Evil Hero Duelist revealed probably his most powerful monster, Malicious Fiend. "David's been backed into a corner... what will you do now...? Considering the situation, resorting to spell and trap cards to deal with monsters is all David can do at the moment.

David blinked, realizing too late that water was splashing at his feet. Ice cold water. He leapt back with a startled yelp and frowned. "Ugh, that was...unpleasant," he muttered.
