Žäīἢ
"Samuel, keep him busy..." Zain ran out into the hall and attempted to do his shadow stalker technique, to no prevail. "D*mn" He pulled out his spellbook and searched through it. He ran to find Aege and finnaly found him in the gym. "Aege, I need you to perform this spell, now." He said pointing to the words Magical Starfield. "This will allow me to use magic again, but not in the auditorium." Zain gave Aege a serious look. "And hurry, we don't have much time......" zarkys5
Aege hung up the phone when no answer came, in fact, he was just hanging up when Zain burst into the gym. He looked at the spell Zain was pointing at and then looked up into his eyes. "I'll do my best.." Quickly getting to work, he placed the book on the floor In front of him and channeled his energy, quickly noticing the spell was of the same origin of his signature. "Magical Starfield!!!" He called out. Suddenly, Stars filled the room and formed constellations. Gemini, Pices.. They were all there. He started to feel tired, lots of his energy was fading away. He then looked over to Zain, where Neo was yelling at him. "You Idiot! That was a desperation spell! Only to be used by expert magicians! You could've killed him if he wasn't as skilled as he is!" Aege then noticed magic power flowing into Zain. "Maybe.. I... Helped a... friend.." Aege mumbled. He looked up at the stars one more time, before falling unconscious. Žäīἢ
Zain looked at Neo. "I knew it wouldn't kill him. And, fyi, I asked him to do this so I could kill the first of the Zero Sign. But, I might kill myself in doing so...Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a battle to fight." Zain walked out of the gym and looked at his shadow. "Shadow stalker." Darkness and dark lightning engulfed his blade. "Mental enhancement. Dark release." Dark red lightning surged through his sword, and his magical capabilities rose. "Kiruha better have gathered those students...."
Sweetie Belle
Kiruha ran out into the hall with Janice, Ashley, Wynn, Sarek, Mark, and Staok. She looked around for Zain, and noticed him running down the hall towards her. "Zain! Here they are!" Kiruha called out to him. She was completely off-guard, a perfect opportunity for Aghat to come up behind her and hold a blade to her neck. "Finding me won't be easy," he said as he called out his spell. "Dream Maze..." Somnus, Aghat's Elemental Spirit, expanded and covered the entire hallway. Black walls were raised, creating a maze. The walls reached all the way to the ceiling, making it impossible for Wynn to simply fly over. Aghat disappeared deep into the maze. "Zain, use the Transparency spell that Mr. Mirai taught a week ago!" said Mark, "I wasn't there, so I can't use it."
Žäīἢ
"Kiruha!" Zain yelled as Aghat took her hostage, "D*mmit!" He looked at Mark. "I will, first, you all need to attack this," he raised his sword, "so that it can aborb it and transform it into a lightning form. Then I'll release it all in one swipe, I just hope the aftershock won't kill me..." He closed eyes and calmed his mind. "Magical....starfield."All of their magic power was flowing back to them, although Zain's dropped sharply. "All attack on the count of three.....1.....2.......3! Shadow Absorb!" CrystalCyae
Asiko looked up again as she heard a loud noise, though to far away to hear. "Listening closely, she picked out the word, "Absorb!"" The voice was dimly recognized as Zain, but at the moment Asiko didn't care. Looking at the ground she noticed a small star floating, suspended in midair. "What the f***?" Asiko wondered. Getting up, she opened the door, and gasped. A small line of stars were floating in mid air. Puzzled, Asiko decided to follow the small trail. Eventually she reached the open door of the gym, the sorce of the stars, which were now gradually fading away. Asiko peeked inside, and noticed the unconcius Aege on the floor. She rushed over. "Aege! Are you OK?"
zarkys5
Neo was very busy trying to wake his friend, even resorting to poking him with his sword. But when Asiko ran into the room, Neo realized she wanted to help, so he didn't stop her when he ran over."Stupid Zain.." Neo mumbled under his breath. Aege! Are you okay? These words were floating around in Aege's head. Someone had said them. And it wasn't Neo, therefore he had to see who it was. His eyes opened slowly. When he saw Asiko, he was very curious. "Asiko..." He asked, still a bit weary due to shyness. But he quickly understood she wasn't there to hurt him. So instead, he took this opportunity to make a friend. "W-what kind of magician are you." He asked, stumbling over his words. He was totally oblivious to the fact all the walls were pitch black at the moment.
Žäīἢ
All of their attacks hit his blade at once, and were instantly absorbed and transformed into lightning. There was a light green bolt from the wind attack, a bright yellow from the light, a brown from the earth, an deep orange from the fire, a dark green from the wood, and a deep blue from the water. Zain winced as his magic power dropped sharply again, causing him to kneel one leg. He looked up, "Thanks guys, one slash from this," he motioned to his sword, "and he's a goner." He stood up. "Transparency!"
Sweetie Belle
Aghat knew that Zain would try to look through the walls, so he decided to do one thing. He muttered his spell, Dream Necromancy, and a new image appeared before Zain. As Zain looked through, what he saw was completely different. He saw Aghat stab Kiruha through the chest. He saw the body fall to the floor in a bloody mess. He saw Ahgat laugh at her and at Zain in triumph. Then he looked back at Zain. "What are you waiting for?" he taunted. Meanwhile, in another location, a royally dressed man looked at a woman who appeared to be related. "How do you think he's doing?" asked the man. "Oh, don't worry. Even if he does manage to lose, we can still send in Sine."
Žäīἢ
Zain stood there in greif. "No....No....NOOO!!!!!" Zain gripped his blade tightly. "You are dead! So f*cking dead! You hear me!?! You messed the wrong person, and that mistake will cost you your life!" He closed his eyes and slowed his breathing. "Void.....of.....shadows." The maze was engulfed in darkness, much darker than the darkness Dark Void caused, although Zain could still see perfectly. There was no light at all. Xephyr crept out of the shadows behind Aghat. Zain laughed evily, "Sick him boy..."
Sweetie Belle
Xephyr lunged at Aghat, while he was off guard. Aghat was barely able to see what was happening. The wolf bit his neck, and even tore out a piece. Aghat fell to the ground. Strangely, however, he didn't bleed. Looking at Zain, he said, "There are six more much stronger than I. You'll have no hope now..." He burst into a shadowy flame and disappeared. Everything that he created disappeared. The maze, the monsters, all of it disappeared. Kiruha's apparent corpse disappeared as well. The group walked up to the place where Aghat was, and they heard pounding on a nearby door. Another man, whose clothes were covered in stains, entered the basement of the school through the outside door. "Well, here it is. The furnace. I could easily cripple the Water magicians first, and then come in by storm." His two spirits, Hyperion and Theia, buzzed around him in sinister glee. Žäīἢ
Zain ended his Void of Shadows spell and looked down at Xephyr. "Good boy," he said patting him on the head. Zain watched Kiruha's corpse fade away. It was an illusion?!? His heart skipped a beat. That means she's still alive... He heard pounding on a nearby door and ran over to it. He tried to open it. "D*mn, locked...Kiruha, if that's you, back away from the door, I have to kick it down, I'll do it on the count of three. 1....2....3!" He kicked at the door, and it fell inward. CrystalCyae
Asiko smiled. "Good thing you're okay." She muttered. She helped Aege up. "Look, about earlier, with the threat, I wasn't going to do. I can't hold a grudge all that well, and besides, I know you were doing what you thought was right at the time, so it was all my fault." She shook her head, then looked at all the stars still floating around. Narrowing her eyes, she noticed the constellation of Pieces, Gemini, Taurus...... She frowned. "By any chance were you attempting to use Magical Starfield? If you did, you're lucky to be alive. In lots of cases, even experienced wizards/witches have fainted after performing such a draining spell...... But I reckon you did well, after all, those stars reached the dorms...." Žäīἢ
Zain ran into the room, which turned out to be a small supply closet, and immediatly hugged Kiruha. "I....I thought I lost you. He made an illusion of him killing you.....it seemed so real....I was ready to risk my life with a dangerous spell just to kill him....I'm just glad that you're alive....I don't know what I'd do if I lost you...." Zain stood there holding her, not wanting to let her go and possibly have the only person left he actually cared for taken away from him.
zarkys5
Aege managed a weak smile. He pulled himself up to a sitting position and pushed his blond and red hair out of his face. "The reason for that is most people don't notice it is a spell meant for at least a pair of magicians." He attempted to stand up, but fell to the ground due to lack of energy. "Funny thing is... I tried it by myself because I didn't trust other people. That and I don't have many human friends and I hoped to make at least one before trying, then that guy showed up..." He lowered his gaze until Neo came behind him and poked him with his sword. "I think I did end up making a friend at the end." He then looked up and stared directly into Asiko's eyes. "I'm sorry for the whole Blindfire thing.." He said in a tone of voice that only Neo had heard before. A voice of near happiness and hope.
CrystalCyae
Asiko looked thoughtful. "That I didn't know. No wonder many magicians faint after performing such a trick." Then she smiled as she heard the last things Aege said. "I forgive you for the BlindFire thing. After all, it didn't permanately blind me. And also, next time you need to perform such a deadly spell all on your own, I'll try to be there and lend a hand. After all, it's dangerous trying that spell by yourself." She beamed, and helped Aege to his feet. "Well, that worked out. Now me and Aege both have a new friend, besides our elemental spirits." She thought happily. Mugendramon
"So, that's one down; right guys?" Samuel smiled around in search of approval. Though he didn't really care. He was now sensing a powerful presence, a Fire Caster apparently. After removing Swaddo's heavy armor, he commanded the spirit to return to it. He then disappeared as unnoticed as he had come to the battle spot. Well, Swaddo. Our plans are not going as smoothly as I had originally planned. A Fire Caster won't be easy to convince. They tend to be overly emotional. So I suggest trickery. Obsessssssed with it, massster. Assss always. Don't talk to me like that, Swaddo. I can always use my Memory Shot using you. And you do remember what happens then, I take. Very well, ssssir. I'll do assss you command. They both headed for the basement. As Samuel and his Spirit soon came down to the basement. They were welcomed by the expected Fire Caster, dressed like a train driver, with two fireballs swirling around him. Those must be his Spirits. Very well. I'll just ignore them, for now. I sssssuggest you usssse your staff'ssssss Sssssymbiote, masssster. Thissss particular persssson's asssspect tellssss me he'll try to burn me. Even though I'm water. So be it. Samuel raised his staff and pointed it towards the Probable Pyromaniac. The tentacled eye in the end of the staff dropped from it to the ground at Samuel's feet. The tentacles instantly began swirling around each other, and constantly grew. The tentacle cumulations took the shape of limbs, a body, a head. In the middle of this head was the eye. The figure, always making horrendous sucking sounds, stood up in all fours, as a feral dog. It growled. "Odds are 3 on 3 now, O Fire Caster. Should we have a discussion before we engage in combat?" Samuel twisted a wicked, and at the same time expectant smile; and waited for a reply.
Sweetie Belle
"My name is Sine," said the man, "Garlen N. Sine. I am the Fire user of Zero Sign, but I suppose you already knew that." Sine continued to do things to the furnace. Finally he stopped, and turned around. A pre-battle discussion would be fine. First, I'd like you to meet my Elemental Spirits. On the left here is Hyperion," Hyperion buzzed around to be noticed, "and this is Theia." Theia did likewise. "The two continued a conversation, all to Sine's plan. The furnace had caused the basement temperature to rise to over 150[sup]o[/sup]C, higher than the boiling point of water. Sine stood smirking as he watched Samuel's discomfort.
Mugendramon
"Oh. I really hate how you Fire Users burn everything." Samuel panted, and cleared the sweat from his face. "Allow me to introduce my Elemental Spirit, Swa-" Samuel turned around, and saw Swaddo evaporating. "Well," Samuel said while lifting Swaddo's empty armor, "this was my Swaddo. But he is not your largest concern now, no. Better look at my friend here;" Samuel pointed at his Staff's horrendous form. "This is my staff. I call her Jeriga. She's a Special kind of Symbiote, which I created some centuries ago, in my dimensional prison. It is Water-Elemental right now; but its Affinity depends on what kind of magic you feed it with. When in staff form, it can augment the host's magical capabilities. When in this form, however; it can cast its own Spell. With the right stimulation, that is." Samuel generated dark-blue aura in his hand, and offered the twisted animal to sniff it. The blue force then was sucked into the creature which roared loudly. This roar had frozen the surroundings. Samuel sighed in relief. "Now that the battlefield suits me better, I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Samuel Norghal, and I'd like to join your not-so-noble cause, Zero Sign." Samuel chuckled. "Of course, I expect you would like to test me first. And it is thus that I considered appropriate to use Swaddo's magical Water and my Jergia's Magical capabilities to cast this little Spell of mine... it is actually a variation of a Spell the teachers here use. The best part of it is, it is not affected by any Cancelation Spells." Samuel motioned for Jeriga and the now reformed Swaddo to surround Sine. He then raised his Spellbook, formed a string of Water from thin air, and turned the tip black. He wrote Tri-Seal Encasement in the Book. He then chanted the Spell: "Tri-Seal Encasement!" His two followers did as well. "Tri-Seal Encasement!" "Tri-Seal Encasement!" Three beams of blue light then shot from each of the three. Two of them shot sideways to connect the shape of the triangle base. The other shot up, and met above Sine. A Giant Ice Pyramid replaced the Laser Skeleton. Frozen inside, a grin in their faces, were Sine and his Spirits.
Sweetie Belle
Sine stood inside the pyramid, also pondering what was happening above the surface. The temperature's rapid changes probably had adverse effects on the students. Either way, he created a small fireball and threw it up at the point of the pyramid. The tip was destroyed, and the walls of the pyramid tumbled and fell. Hyperion and Theia buzzed around the shattered pieces. "Well done, well done," He said, "but see if you can do the same. Tri-Seal Encasement!" Hyperion and Theia went to two opposite sides of Samuel, forming a triangle. The same trick occurred. Three red lasers shot from each one, creating a pyramidal frame. Magma filled the spaces. and hardened into rock. "Try to get out of that. If you can, you can join."
Mugendramon
OOC: What I actually meant was that the pyramid was filled with Ice, as if it were an ice cube. But it'll work just fine. And Sorry, but for some reason a part of this post is in italics and won't let me change it. After "Hydro Shot", everything should be in regular font. IC: "Is that so? Do you thin I cannot counter a Spell I myself created?" Even though Sine couldn't see it, Samuel raised his middle and index finger together, and counted towards the pyramid. Swaddo, Jeriga, to the tip. Break it. ...Even better. Impress him. Slice the whole thing in half. Assss you command, masssster. Samuel sat in one of the corners of the pyramid. Then he snapped his fingers. Jeriga's shape returned to its eye state. Swaddo picked the eye up, and placed it in the gemstone in his armor. The eyeball merged with it. Tentacles, this time black, came from the eye, and covered Swaddo, save for his eyes. The Spirit then cast: "Hydro Shot." A highly-pressured water string came from one of Swaddo's arms. As it was pointing up, the water went straight through the basement ceiling, and through the building's floors, and missed a student by inches. As he motioned his hand down, the shot sliced everything in its path. When it came across the pyramid, it slowly cut it in half. Effortlessly, yet slowly. When it was done, the Water died out. The eye jumped from Swaddo's chest, and the tentacles surrounding the Spirit swiftly changed color and shape; so that it landed in its animal form.Samuel then epically pushed both sides of the pyramid with his dark blu Aura. "Good enough for you?"
Žäīἢ
Zain pulled away from Kiruha when he saw the laser fly through the floor and jumped into a defensive stance. "What the f*ck was that?" He ran out of the room past Xephyr. "Xephyr, stay with her, protect her at all costs!" Xephyr ran into the closet and stood by Kiruha, as Zain jumped down into the small hole created by the laser that led to the basement. He looked at Sine and then at Samuel. "Now what do we have here?" He said as he got in a defensive stance and raised his sword.
Sweetie Belle
Sine looked at Zain and smiled. "Well, the boy who killed Aghat, huh? Well, Samuel, looks like you've got your first task." Sine looked at Samuel as he addressed him. "Eliminate him." Sine allowed the two to combat while he went up to the ground floor. Hyperion and Theia looked around for any Water students as he reheated the hallways. Kiruha was sitting with Xephyr near the closet. "It's getting kind of hot in here," she noted, "Really hot." She took of her coat and gloves, and piled them on the floor. She unzipped the zippers on her pant legs to allow for more air. Still, it didn't help. She tried to fan herself, but to no avail. She fell to the ground, in an overheated state.
zarkys5
Aege started to sweat. The heat was swelling up in the gym and almost getting too much. Pulling off his bandana, now drenched in sweat, he turned to Asiko. "Something is definitely wrong." Neo quickly flew over and landed on Aege's hand. "I can sense some strange fire magician in the hall."Neo told his good friend."If you can sense him, why couldn't you sense the other guy?" Aege asked, slightly annoyed. "The last guy wasn't affiliated with an element." Aege looked up at Asiko. "We need to stop him or else the Water students are in serious danger. If you let me, I can Starlight Cloak us to protect us from the heat and trick this Zero sign guy.
Mugendramon
Samuel was given an order as if he were a dog. But at this point, he thought, it didn't matter. "So I will." He turned his head to Zain. "I've been longing for a good old Swordplay. You will be fitting for that." He then motioned for Swaddo to be come the Ice Sword. Samuel put on his Spirit's armor, and grabbed the Ice Sword. He dashed towards Zain, who he clashed with. They were even at first, but then Zain's blade began to freeze, expanding from the point in which his sword touched Samuel's. He then cried at the Symbiote animal; "Jeriga, a snack!" That said, Samuel's empty hand gathered a strong blue color aura, which he tossed to Jeriga's head. The abomination absorbed it, and roared. The air became drier, as Ice Shards formed from the moisture in the air, and shot towards Zain. "Night, Swordsman."
