You forgot empty-ness on the left,
And the bad outcome of the end of the cannon.

The only think that doesn't depress me is the vector shapes (if they are vectors...they better not be C4Ds) themselves aren't half bad.
I rarely say this but keep trying this style.

And, can you tell me what you did except lay a gradient add a render and text with a c4d?

I started with the gradient, then put the Samus image in. I rendered it, then changed the color of it. Gave it a bit of a sharpen, then blurred the edges as they were too sharp. Added a vector, then got another part and put it in a different spot. Sharpened, then changed the colors slightly. Add the text, and then added the lighting, which didn't turn out too well. I then did some gradient maps, and some final editing.
