Anime's Biggest Fails?

Ghoulish

Every action-based anime that uses the plot devices...

1) The power of friendship to beat a villain
2) The power of love to beat a villain
3) Belief in yourself to beat a villain.
4) Anything emotion-related to access a greater power that is required the first or every time.
5) Drawn-out plot points that should only have a minute of the show's time.
6) Something action-related is happening, then every character commentates on it.
7) A character's backstory told in detail that cuts into the middle of an action sequence.

Also YGO Capsule Monsters

That was my first though on seeing this topic, that is why 4Kids shouldn't do a series. Everytime I hear it I think of Capsule Monster Chess (as featured in YGO Season 0)

I''s and Gantz.

I''s - The pricks pulled a 4kids and cut out an entire arc, possibly two of manga just so they can have 6 episodes? WTF?! Anybody who has seen this, I suggest reading the manga.

Gantz- Oh man Gantz. This had the potential to be HUGE!! The messed it up when they got an anime to early. Now a live-action movie is coming out (With a second film in development I think?), which is completely awesome btw. Now would've been a great time to have an anime. Oh man what Gantz could've done to the anime world....instead, we get a rip-off of the Cowboy Bebop ending. (Which was played with incredibly in the abridged series which is the only form of Gantz animation anybody who has read the manga should see.)

Both anime adaptations of the Negima series.

To put it simply:

Mahou Sensei Negima! (anime): Stops before the good part, leaving only the harem aspects and cutting almost all of the fight scenes. Changed at least five major plot points.
Negima!?: Fails instantly for being an anime adaptation of a spinoff manga (Negima!? neo, which mostly sucked). Ignores all but about three things in said spinoff manga it is based off of. The opening was (usually in the Japanese version, and on occasion in the dub) one of the characters calling for help while unfitting music plays in the background. Removed the female lead's Heterochromia. Changed the hair colors for most of the cast. On top of this, it ran mostly as a Gag Dub, EVEN IN JAPAN.
