FTW (For The Wynn)
Anyway, we should kick this party off. I'll start with this question: what is your favorite genre of music? My personal favorite I would have to say is Rock/Alternative. I'm a big fan of Three Days Grace, Hinder, Paramore (since before they were famous), Papa Roach, Fall Out Boy, Finger Eleven, Evanescence, etc. The list goes on. Daft Innovation
Techno/Electropop. Something with a really good beat and maybe some good vocals will immediately get a thumbs up from me.
Kuri
Wow FTW you like every alt rock singer/band I like...but I also like this one pop techno-ish guy DJ Isaac.

[/quote] Also a good genre that I have some love for. Cascada, Owl City, etc. although I have to admit I've never heard of DJ Isaac. A lot of music I come across is mainstream and sometimes the underground bands I never hear of. If it is mainstream though I've probably heard of it. Doesn't really matter the genre, I listen to bits and pieces of it all. Rock, Classic Rock, Alternative, Punk, Pop, Country (I can almost feel the shudders now), Hip Hop, Rap, Classical, I'm an well-rounded dude. I've collected something like 5500 songs at this point, always growing.
Kuri
Yea I try to get myself well rounded up also so that I'm not addicted to the emotional-ish genre of rock. I know a really nice classic rock song its Little Lionman by Mumford and Sons its a nice song for classic support. I also listen to Jason Mraz, 5 for fighting, Daughtry, Fray, Korean pop, etc. I've probably collected 1000+ songs my entire life. Most of which I hardly hear on the radio (the really nice ones too). I would love to listen to all of them but many of the titles I have forgotten. I probably only have 10% of the songs downloaded onto my computer. DJ Isaac is sortuv underground since I just started to listen to him when my cousin told me about him. Pretty catchy music. Listen to his song: Impressed on youtube. Daft Innovation
Cascada and Owl City are great artists too. Love them. Underground music is usually never popular and might have a cult following. But I do enjoy listening to some underground rap songs and disco beats. FTW (For The Wynn)
Last spring I got to be front row to see Owl City, I even got to meet the band members. I was literally five feet in front of them for an entire concert. It was epic.

FTW (For The Wynn)
Aww, why's everyone hating on Sandman? It is what it is...although, I'm older than you guys and I grew up listening to it and much older. I could name famous groups that none of you would know only because I grew up listening to them. I've been a music junkie for a long time now
