@King - Wai thank you :3

Oh, here's one that's not nearly as good and detailed, since I didn't spend NEARLY as much time on it v

Meh, I've seen better.

They are pretty good, especially the hands which is difficult for most people (I only draw 3 fingers and a thumb for mine). The Body proportions need to be done better, the heads need to be measured properly, hair needs not to look like Vegeta's and I don't think Chris should be wearing Capri pants.

xD

I'm self-taught for the most part, and I used to SUCK. So I expected to be "meh" in body proportion and stuff.

Altho I must say I got a lot better with proportion after reading this one "How to draw manga" book. Especially female bodies, I got better with those. No perverted meaning, I really do mean I got better at drawing the curves.

And the fact I actually started to do a frame for my drawings helped xD

And...hands are a pain for me, but I won't say I'm bad at them when I try.

Also

[spoiler=Few months old, but...Official pre-timeskip Chris art?]

@DL

Just remember, books only help you so much. Everyone has their own style which means that the help from books is limited since they belong to another person's style.

and yes, female characters are difficult to draw. Ze Curves are difficult to draw in proportion to the Arms.

@Creator - Curves aren't that much of a problem for me anymore :3

And I really only learned how to draw a frame from that book :3

@Jake - I drew Rin (the Vocaloid) like 10 times already, in different poses. It's good to experiement with poses. And, I aim to make a style of art I can call my own. So far I can do eyes I can call my own :3 (learned eyes from Bleach, and Shakugan no Shana)

@DL

>_>

Yeah I don't get that curvey.

Also you need to work on not drawing your people so flat. Try doing various poses in front of a background, it helps make them pop out. You have to make them appear to be 3-D on a 2-D plane.

I draw people flat, but that is because it is my style AND I can still create the illusion of depth.

Yeah, that's definitely my weakness .___.

Altho I did do it differently here

[spoiler=depth ftw]

And there is epic amounts of meaning in this drawing. I wonder what it makes you guys think of/how you interpret it.

And lol, usually they don't have big chests xD But yeah, you get the curvy point.

===> Berate DL for creating 4kids

You'd proceed to do just that if it wasn't for the fact that 4kids did it better. So instead you'll just lol at his fail picture and get back to real art.

Sorry, My troll was trying to issue a command. But it does look like that picture invented 4kids.

Huh

Well in truth, it's actually AGAINST 4Kids, if you think about it.

If you notice, there's a knife and a gun in the corners. It means that no matter how much the adults shelter their children, they will one day find out about the real world, and it'll be more of a shock to them.

And there's obviously a meaning as to why several faceless adults are watching a young girl through glass. It means adults love to watch kids when it's about their entertainment, but they don't want to go through the trouble of, say, actually caring for them. Thus why the girl is sad, and she shows it too (the blocks spell out L E A V E) but the adults are blind.
