@Black-Correct.

For Trio of DDC (or whatever they're called)

Donovyn

1: Getsuga Tensho

2: Getsuga Quake (Tensho into the ground that makes it crumble)

Creator

1: Moonstone Cannon

2: 7 second summon for PROTO (10% or less health has him in Emperor mode)

Deustodo:

1: Diamond Shotgun

2: 7 second state where he doesn't recoil from enemy attacks (still takes damage)

EDIT: 7 seconds, 10 seconds, you get the idea.

As awesome as Dissidia looks, I dunno if DEF would work that way. It'd be too simple for the complicated combos.

I think a side fighter like Street Fighter or MvC3 would work.

Specials...um

Chris

1: Last Resort Hammer

2: Thunderhammer

DL

1: Last Resort Mode (different shooting styles can switch through trigger button)

2: 7 second transformation to Yuki

El

1: Last Resort Wind Blast

2: 7 seconds with Fusoku Sword (double ATK damage)

Actually, that characters specialty is combos. Your combos don't have to get all that complicated.

Chris:

Main Weapon: Hammer

HP Attacks:

Hammerkind - Launches hammer head at opponent. Defense crush.

Electrify - Electrifies hammer. Few hits to opponent.

Spike - Adds spikes to hammer. Launches opponent upward, then slams them back down. Wall rush.

Ex Mode: Equip Ban Hammer

Extras: Launch at end of each combo.

All attacks Defense Break.

Ex Burst: Miracle.

Detail: Tap certain button until bar is fully charged. If successful, repeat with different button (both buttons electrify hammer). If Ex Burst is successful, attack with explosive hit, launching opponent out of Ex Burst screen.

Simple. Review your character. Look at your strongest attacks. Make them HP attacks. Look at your fighting style. Make up Bravery Attacks.

Ex Mode = Plot Significant change, or strongest equipped weapon.

Ex Burst = Strongest Attack or plot significant attack (that's still strong)

Basically, try to allude to your character's plot as much as possible. And be clever. :3

Jake:

Main Weapon: Twin Hook Swords

HP Attacks:

Razor Wire - Launches wire at opponent [Tilt Analogue Stick to control which area, head, shoudlers, torso, feet, it hits]. If is it missed, recoil for 10 seconds.

Onmyō Hasshi - Throws both Hook Swords, one after another. If first strike hits, second does double damage.

Seikūken - Creates a field around user, makes projectile attacks less likely to hit.

Ex Mode: Equips Both Twin Hook Swords and Razor Wire simultaniously

Extras: Razor Wire attatches when missed and used to entrap opponents.

Ex Burst: Hyakuretsu Ōkazan

Detail: Tap certain buttons as they appear on the screen until time is up. The higher the number of correct buttons hit, the stronger the attack. If Ex Burst is successful, attack appears as a hurricane of cherry blossom petals, launching the opponent out of Ex Burst screen.

I don't blame you Boss. It's my favorite anime. Well tied with Tokyo Majin. I should rewatch both sometime. Must finish Clannad Afrter story... -_-

Anyway, from the gameplay I've seen it doesn't really seem to fit with Trio of DEF's more "realistic" style. Fire Emblem doesn't either though. I'll say why.

Dissidia-Well people are jumping and flying around pretty damn maps. Getting around them with speed and ease. Basically, no gravity but that was obvious. Most fights in DEF don't even use much room. Except pretty much all of Cortez's fights that are either on jets or while falling from a skyscraper. Donovyn and Creater have also had pretty big fights. Fights between them or just Creater blowing sh*t up with PROTO. Well there's also that one with Black... But out of those few a lot of fights don't really take up or need that much space. The game demolishes physics where as DEF has been known to just occasionally bang on the wall with a hammer...sometimes really hard. Chris' normal hammer that is. The banhammer would destroy that place. The gameplay still looks good but increase gravity a bit and it should work pretty well.

Fire Emblem- Well going with all that not much space is taken up thing most fights are generally one on one in DEF. I've only played one Fire emblem game and it involved a decent amount of people versus a large amount of people. There aren't really that many times where the main characters face off against a small army or when the turn based tactics fit in with DEF that is mostly action and actually kind of lacks superior strategy and tactics. No offense. It's hard to convey something like that in writing.

Out of the two my vote is for the Dissidia style though.

Reason: It looks funner and actually seems to suit DEF's style more. Since it is action and this Ex stuff would be fun to incorporate.

Own opinion:

Actually, although I'm not a fan of the anime, Naruto has some pretty good videogames. I think some of the style from its games would suit DEF pretty well. Not the DS ones though. Those ones suck. The physics seems good and the size of the maps seem pretty good. Either the ones for the PS2 or XBox 360 would work well with DEF.

Yeah, I was thinking of Clash of Ninja too earlier.

Either that or Ultimate Ninja Storm.

I'd try a Dissidia thing, but I'm still clueless about a lot of it.

As for the Fire Emblem style, that could work for a game centered on the events during the one year timeskip.

Sonic's main weapon would be his bumping katana of course.

1: Bumping Chaos (series of unblockable combos dealing heavy damage)

2: 7/10 second transformation into SWAT Kat Sonic (can glide and use aerial combos)

Did pretty well. That's the only thing I would change.

I'll post mine, after I do something or other...

Can't have that. The battle system isn't that precise. (if only it was, though. ^_^)

Alright, s*** has been done.

Let's see...

Atman

HP Attacks - Main Weapon: Requiem Gunblade

  • Double Trouble
    • A few slashes from sword ending in strong shot from gun. Wall rush.

    [*]Slash and Burn

    • Slashes opponent upward, then fires at them while they're in the air.

    [*]Aggression

    • Strong slash from sword staggers opponent, fire some bullets, then kicks them away. Defence Crush.

    [*]Relentless Assault

    • Barrage of bullets fired at opponent, ending with one strong slash downward. Wall rush.

Ex Mode: Safety Off

  • Official Description
    • Safety is taken off Gunblade during Sword Mode, allowing use of the trigger.

    [*]Bonuses

    • Trigger [ATK]
      • Trigger is pulled during sword mode, doubling damage.

      [*]Trigger [DEF]

      • Trigger is pulled during block, staggering opponent for any attack.

    [*]Ex Burst: Payback

    • Buttons roll across the bottom of the screen. Press the appropriate button [R1 or O] in line with Atman's attacks. (Similar to Squall's Ex Burst)
    • If Ex Burst is successful, fire a few more rounds before landing explosive hit with sword.

o-o

DEF Game

Would that make Remo

a playable character during one of the plotline battles?

Well, you'd be an enemy teaming with Madara while the player controls D.L and El when they joined Akatsuki .-.

And then you'd be playable during that one fight with Status.

If it were a fighting game, it'd go like:

Remo

1: Counter (can dodge someone's special, hard to execute)

2: 7/10 second transformation with Day's mask (all hits are combo-breakers and you attack with Day's drill and Wham's light)

What about Nobuo? >: D

He'd probably be pretty fun to play with because of his style.

Hm. Dissidia gameplay only allows you to control one person at a time. However, you can summon others as Assists. So you could have El w/ DL Assist or DL w/ El Assist.

If you want, I can set up a Dissidia move set and Ex Burst for you tomorrow. ^_^

Always. XD

KHR had a videogame with a system I think would be perfect. It allowed you to pick the person you'd play as and then add two more people to your "family" that'd be assist characters. RThry'd give bonuses and help join in assist attacks.

Edit: Maybe you should wait until I finish my one shot. I'm planning on doing a few more things. But if you want to make the canon version go ahead. ^_^
