You see, 95% of your DNA is junk, not used by the body. It's simply there for when new features are necessary for evoution. We thought it was just for normal traits, like gills, or webbed feet. But its potential was so much more. Strange energy waves have been hitting the earth. No one knows much about them, or even where they come from. All thats known is that they induce the bodies of some people to start using some of the junk DNA, giving them fantastic super powers. Many try to use their powers for good, but the allure of using them for personal gain is to strong for most. But a breakthrough has been made. Machines have been built that shoot the waves.The governments of the uses these to seek out & recruit people to combat the super-villains. And they might be coming to your high school...[/i]

Has EXTREMELY white (not albino white) skin due to a genetic disability to tan.Some people get freaked out because he's so white. Has A LOT of moles. Has very few scars. In addition, he is very short, only five foot three inches. His feet are proportionally small when compared to body size, his head and eyes are proportionately large when compared to body size. Also, his hair is cleaner cut than in the picture.
Personality: Cheerful, but vengeance driven. Has aspergers syndrome, a mild form of autism(It's real. I'd know, I have it). Extremely smart & wants to be a theoretical physicist. The quintessential nerd.Extremely verbose, quirky, & is prone to rambling as well as "zoning out" when reading or thinking to himself.Likes science fiction, dungeons & dragons, frogs, & nintendo. Has a good sense of humor, specificly dry humor.(Autism and a good sense of humor do mix, this character is based off myself {and I have a good sense of humor})
Superpower: Manipulates psionic energy which can manifest as telekinesis, or visible energy blasts. Also superhumanly intelligent.

Like that but with jet black hair & bright green eyes. His eyes are [i]really[/i] green. His eyes are so green & reflective it freaks some people out. It has a hypnotizing effect on other people. He is quite tall, 6'2. He has long legs.
Personality: Not a nerd, but is friends with several nerds (including Edmond), & sticks up for them against jocks & cruel girls. Very kind, & makes people happy. Is a colorado rockies fanatic.
Powers:Can safely absorb kinetic energy or momentum, store it, and drect it into other objects through touch.

Appearance: He is 6'1" and weighs 206 lbs. Always wears Orange colored clothing, but it changes day to day. Has a guitar strapped to his back, a Les Paul to specific. He has a crew cut and dark blue eyes. He Never wears any foot wear. Sadly he is a mute.
Personality: He is Quiet and non socialable, due to being mute.He has less friends than on his hand but they are loyal sometimes "talk" to them using the guitar. Very intelligent and is open to help others that are in rough spots, knowing how it feels to be that one in need, but does it in secret. Plays his emotion through his music.
Powers: The ability to control the frequency and volume of Sound Waves.

Appearance: She is about 5'6". Weight is unknown. She has shoulder length red hair with green stripes, and saphire blue eyes. She usually wears a short sleeved green t-shirt and a long, black skirt. She wears black leather boots. No jewellry except for ruby pendant. She has a small scar on her left cheek.
Personality: A rather impulsive youngster, Assoka always wants her way. She bosses EVERYBODY, even teachers, around, meaning she is in trouble almost all the time. Around certain people, however, she is quiet, but still impulsive. Around people she hates, she goes really crazy, as in "I'm gonna BURN YOU TO A CRISP THEN DROWN YOU!" sort of crazy.
Powers: She has the ability to conjure objects at will. She can teleport short distances, and can teleport objects to her by the means of portals.

(Ignore the thing floating next to her) She has white hair that reaches down her back. She has a plethora of equipment attached to her. Despite her appearance, she is actually an android. She does, however, contain biological parts (that I'm not naming. No, it's not [i]there[/i] either, you gutterminds). She has a tactile interface located on her right arm, which is used for diagnostic modes and information retrieval. She wears an analytical eyepiece to feed auxillary information, like distance and size of enemies. She uses it to "size up" her enemies before fights.
[b]Personality:[/b] (I added a bit of bio in here) In three words, too much information. Ever see [i]Star Trek: The Next Generation[/i]? Remember Lt. Cmdr. Data? She acts just like him. Mari, as she is called by those who have managed to befriend her, is part of a top secret government project, called Project Marixia, that is focused on creating the perfect soldier for use in the armies. However, after their first project failed, they tried again, attempting to eliminate the flaws of the first models. Mari was one of the few who became sentient. She and a few others revolted, and destroyed the base of operations, while managing to keep the event out of the media. Unlike her previous models, she has no personality matrix installed, and no morality program, as they believed that they were unnecessary during war. She does have an primitive intelligence matrix installed, however, to further her strategic ability. She is cold-hearted and ruthless, and therefore has few friends. She has a friend developing a personality matrix for her though.

And she goes to high school? This is really pushing it. It needs to be human before the waves are sent through the high school. You could make that into a very drastic mutation (as in so drastic they could become their own species), but I don't see how a government created android will work.

Personality:Itachi isnt a boy who cares about school alot.He just follows the lessons,and gets good grades,however,he never studies.
Most of the time,he can be friendly,but sometimes he just is cold hearted.Also,he will do anything to get a girlfriend,this includes fighting to death.
Powers:He can control ice and snow.He can make ice and snow come out of the ground,or the air,and the temperature around him lowers alot.

Name: Avalon Ward
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Appearance: 5' 2", with a slim build and very light. She's very pale, which contrasts with her jet black hair. She always wears a lightweight dress, a jacket and flat shoes, all in white, matching her skin. Her eyes are a pale grey, and often seem distant. She has an almost ethereal quality, and at certain times, such as in strong light, she takes on a translucent air. When she does, she appears to be hollow, and her skin doesn't seem to be present beneath her clothing.
Personality: She's very shy, and tends to try and avoid talking to others if possible, keeping her head down. She's probably the typical shrinking violet. Although she has a pretty voice and enjoys singing, she's far too shy to do so in public, or at least whilst anyone is watching.
Biography: Avalon has always had health problems. Even as a child, she would frequently take time of school due to ill-health. This, combined with her shyness, meant it was difficult to make friends, and left her rather isolated from her peers, aside from a few people who asked about her health when she came to school. When the cosmic rays hit, they managed to modify her genes, making her condition worse, and she eventually died. That was not, however, the end of the story. The next morning, she got up, somehow leaving her body behind. She was buried privately, and her death not declared, her parents instead deciding she should keep going to school.
Powers: She's incorporeal, meaning she can move through solid objects, and she can turn invisible at will. She can move things, by focussing her will onto them, and turn things she is in contact with invisible, but she has to concentrate on them continuously.

If it's not totally obvious, she's a ghost. I've tried to give her a reason to still be at school though, as well as giving her the ability to appear to be alive. I can change it if needed though.

We'll get 1 more character then start.. Also I'm sorry black diamond, but could you change your power again? Two telekinetics make each other obsolete. Michico & Psyduck are both accepted. Psyduck, since your character got powers before the waves got sent through the school, you'll have to voluntarily come forward to the government agents.

Name: Charves Lathrope
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Appearance: Charves has shaggy black hair that's just long enough to cover his eyes and the back of his neck. His eyes are a forest green color, and except when there's a reason to change his expression he always has a calm face about him. Charves wears a blue t-shirt with an open, short sleeved, Hawaiian themed button down shirt over top of it. On the lower half of his body he wears dark blue pants with plain black sneakers with white laces.
Personality: Charves doesn't really have any friends in his high school. He's not the silent type at all but for some reason nobody wants to hang out with him. He puts himself out there to try and hang out with people only to be dissed later. He wasn't always secluded, he was forced to walk around school like he never existed. Charves is an energetic and happy person when with his family, who don't know he doesn't have a good social life at school and don't seem to care that much. At the discovery of his new powers, he just really didn't care to much for them.
Powers: Ability Replication, the ability to replicate any ability through physical contact; the ability is kept until discarded or another is taken.
Clairsentience, The ability to perceive the history of an object by touching it.

Diamond, YOU ARE GOOD!!!(as long as there is no godmoddy conjuring) FFR, you are not accepted. Turning any thing to sand = instant kill. Geokinesis is good, & the actual person is fine,except he needs to care enough to volunteer using his powers in a government team, so change/remove granulation and your good.

[spoiler=Appearance:] Tentei/Tenma(when they are together>) is tall about standing about 6' 11", he is muscular with out being bulky, he has a large scar that starts at the base of his neck and ends just bellow his belly button, his face is inviting with bright green eyes, and long black hair extending down to the middle of his back, witch is normally held back in a pony tail, normally wearing a sleveless shirt with a black button up shirt(worn unbuttoned) with some blue jeans. When they are split: Tentie: looks basicly the same but scar is gone and deep blue eyes. Tenma: basicly the same but scar is gone and dark red eyes[/spoiler]
Personality: Tentei and Tenma are both rather pleasent people despite their tendancy to talk to each other in public*. Tentei is a quiet caring person who would rather put himself into harms way than watch his friends get hurt, Tenma is like Tentei in this way, but is more blunt tending to speak his mind and fight with a passion rather than a feeling of protection
[spoiler=Powers:] I don't know if this is okay but I will change if needed. basicly he has three "powers", but only his split personality can use one, and they can't use their powers unless they use Twin Soul Split (see bellow), once they split they can use their own abilities, and the abilities both relate to that personalities personality

Twin Soul Split: this abbility must have an incantation to be activated**, once the incantation is spoken the speakers body splits in two creating two identical people, and moving the inhabiting soul into the newly formed body, this can only be used for an hour if the limit is exceeded the user and the inhabiting soul will split permenitly and cause the loss of any memories shared by the two

Flaming Soul(Tenma only): (basicly pyrokinesis) the user can produce flames from their hands and form the flames into swords or orbs to be thrown at the oponent

Psycokinetic Shield(Tentei only): the user can create shield or barriers of psycokinetic energy that is nearly undetectible, when created the barrier reflects a small amount of light making it very hard to detect after the first few second of creation, if the barrier is shattered it appears like glass before disappearing, large barriers(anything bigger than 5 ft by 5 ft box) requires an incantation and that the user remain in full concentration and not move, multipul barriers put a massive strain on the user who must sit completely stil in order to preform more than one barrier[/spoiler]

OK, i'll try to keep conjuring to minimum.
This can be arranged by making it exhausting, so doing what would be classified as "god-moddy conjuring" wouldn't happen due to being unconcious.
I think that fixes that.

They'd go together, but wouldn't be very useful unless combined with other more useful powers.

Yeah... I thought so.... I just can't think of a good power that goes with Panvision(the only power I actually want out of the two)
