That, and you could prebuild a thousand Spleef arenas, port it over to Multiplayer, play for hours, and then port the Single Player map (assuming you saved a copy) back, rinse and repeat.

Anyways, I had the most beautiful experience in Minecraft today. This game made me appreciate its simplicity, and I almost cried.

So I was digging away, when I found some lava. So I got a few buckets of water and turned it all into obsidian. But then what happened was amazing. Above me was a cave system, so I roamed around a bit. I found a lot more lava, and used its light to conserve candles, since I was running out. I then found a waterfall that extended all the way up to what looked like the mainland, but I was really far down, so I don't know. Behind the waterfall was a huge cave system room, the one where its designed where you can climb up the stone because they are in one-step increments. So I roamed around and used a lot of candles. The room eventually became a small room, about 6x6x6, and I placed a few candles in there. I then made a sign out of some of the wood I had and wrote ":D", and placed it on the back wall. I saved my game there.

The entire experience was about thirty minutes, and it was so moving for me. I literally love this game, that is how much it can emotionally move me. I just wish the music was more frequent, since the music adds another BAWW factor to the game.

Minecraft ftw. <3

I think you can. I haven't bothered with looking up more, since I wasn't able to set up the Multiplayer server, but I read somewhere that is was possible.

@Dark: Wow, that is quite a story. Minecraft can do some amazing things, we just have to find them.

Recently I decided to take a challenge in Minecraft. Instead of building a home and working on it, I have to move around each day, traveling almost all the time. So, I've done this for about two in game days, and I have to say, it isn't exactly easy. For one, tents can be a pain to make, since I don't want to waste too many materials, then I have to be able to leave some supplies at each campsite, in case I die. The largest campsite I currently have made was in a tree, so you can imagine the size of it. It's going well, but finding a good spot to set up for the night can be annoying.

That kind of sucks. Because you'll never have enough time to actually mine to find Iron and Diamond... :/

Who needs it? My biggest concern is to not be killed by hordes of enemies.

Besides, if I find surface Iron I grab it. I have a few times before.

It's kind of relaxing to just explore, instead of mine all the time. Until you realize you went in a circle and wound up back at your first campsite. >.>

Have you tried paulsoresjr.'s server tutorials yet? If it weren't for the fact that I can't foreword the port, I would have a server up by now.

I wasn't able to forward the port either, then I kind of forgot. .-.
