I have the Beta. Other then finding Reeds and Cacti more often, a ton more iron, and hearing of people finding more spawners, nothing new yet.

NOTHING YET REALLY.

IN THE BETA, YOU CAN THROW CHICKEN EGGS, AND SOMETIMES THEY SPAWN A CHICKEN. THAT CREATES CHICKEN FARMING. THERE IS ALSO SOME SECRET THING THAT HASN'T BEEN FOUND YET.

If you aren't playing with heaps of mods, you're missing out. Minecraft wouldn't be the same to me if I couldn't fly my pegasus to the top of the battle tower, use Tree Arrows to make a roof garden, fight my way down, colonize it with an army of friendly NPCs, then set up a Cave Troll lair in the basement and protect the tower from nightly raids by various NPC groups. Oh, that and playing on planetoid worlds is just amazing. And being able to carry a torch so you don't need to keep placing them (I only place torches in my main areas and Battle Towers now - makes the game much more fun).

Anyway, since the update I've been finding both Coal and Iron in much larger amounts. Also, enemies are hoarding together outside my house. D:

It's the leaf decay. I'll post here again when there's a mod to disable it/lower the lag. Until then, I've heard that the leaf decay runs differently (and with less lag) if you set your view distance to far. It might just be enough to help.

And sorry if people get angry I post here without having made an app. Nowhere in the thread did it say only members could post, and I'm just trying to be helpful but am not going to be active enough to justify signing up for the club.
