Buttercup
Is this the best Advanced format deck of all time?
Manjoume Thunder
Most consistent - yes. Best - arguably. ReturnDAD and Chaos are up there. ... And Frog FTK.
GenzoTheHarpist
I've been doing testing with the best decks of previous formats, and I think it definitely was. If you play Chaos the way it was played in 2003-2004, when it was legal, it really doesn't have much to bring against TeleDAD.

CrabHelmet
I remember testing TeleDAD versus classic Chaos with Chaos Pudding. TeleDAD won 2-0, but Sixth Sense was activated four times and rolled three 1's and a 2, so classic Chaos (which can run Sixth Sense x3) didn't quite have the best of luck. But overall, TeleDAD really is stronger.
Azuh
I'm pretty sure when you know when the Top 16 Decks of any SJC were Tele-DAD, you know it was fairly consistent
Mehmani
The best decks of all time (ranked on ease of victory, so to speak) are TeleDAD, Frog FTK and Chaos. In that order.

The important thing is to compare the builds used when the decks were popular, not builds that were designed for use against a later meta.

[/quote] What, you think we put Sixth Sense in Chaos because it would counter TeleDAD, and Allure in TeleDAD because we thought it would counter Chaos? We ignored TCG/OCG boundaries so we could compare each deck's full version instead of forcing one or both of them to be watered down by TCG/OCG differences. GenzoTheHarpist
But that's not a realistic comparison of their effects on the meta. The question wasn't "can you build a deck in old formats that's good", it's "what was the best advanced format deck of all time". As in, a deck that people actually ran, not a retroactively built deck that doesn't reflect the realities of the time period.
