"No defense? Then, I believe a verdict is in order. First, since I just won, I think I'll answer your trivial questions." Dane turned to face Ice, and started to laugh.

"Calm down bronie, I just won. He may not respect me, but he doesn't have to. Striker, I've told you this before, I never ditched you. What I didn't tell you was that I ditched Max. When the others would never listen to you, I would defend you. I soon realized the only way to defend you was to show you how wrong you've been. Ice didn't know that, he trained me to help you without knowing."

Judge, may we hear your verdict now?" Dane turned away from Striker to the intercom, and then, a gruff voice, one that had obviously been through many years, began to speak.

"Well Edgeworth, that was probably one of your faster trials. I don't quite understand why this man spoke as if he wanted to fight you, but I've heard enough. Striker, your crimes have violated the most basic of laws. We cannot allow this to go unpunished. Unless anyone has anymore complaints, I find Striker..."

"Striker, I won. I have no reason to continue this petty fight. You need to learn I'm not someone you can bait. I'm smarter then you. Have fun with whatever punishment they give you. You shouldn't have given up so easily. I fight with words, not with weapons. The legal system is all I need."

"I had no other defense other than what I had. Also, you should of told me! You do realize what I went through." Striker knew he lost from the start. Even though he knew the tricks of Dane's trade, he didn't use them. He was better off fighting his way just to survive than get soft.

"Dane, that was fun. Didn't you have another crime you wished to prosecute me with?" Striker would rather be honest and face what he did than hiding the facts and getting slammed later.

"Well, shall we discuss it with lunch?" It is about time I start healing the wounds I have inflicted on everyone. Now that I know the truth, there is no reason to fight now. I hope Dane thinks the same way. Striker opened all his thoughts onto Dane so he could understand what he was thinking.

"Ah, now that all Edgeworth is out of me. I feel much more relaxed. Striker, that fight was never fair, and you know it. You couldn't think your way out of stealing from a grocery store. Now, if you want a fair fight, I'll be more then happy to oblige. That is, if you think a fair fight is even possible."

As Dane said this, he slowly started to melt into a gray smoke, but instead of immediately reforming, it stayed hovering in the air. When he spoke next, his voice sounded as though it was being projected from all sides of the room. "Fun is not the word to describe it. It will never be fun to submit someone who needs help under the hammer of the legal system. Now is not the time for discussing more crimes. If I wanted to do that, I would have brought it up after the guilty verdict."

The smoke began to move back into one being, slowly but surely. "Also Striker, you shouldn't lay the flattery on as thick as you did. It's never becoming of someone to do so."

"You should know how I go by know," replyed Striker. "Oh wait, you only know a small percentage about me." Striker was speaking the truth. Dane did't know everything.

"So Dane, want to take a trip down memory lane? I believe that I could use the trip." Striker needed a refresher on his past. He also thought that Dane needed one as well. This time, he kept his thoughts to himself.

"If you want to, I'll help open the door." Striker raised his hand slowly. As he did, a mysterious door appeared from the mist that surrounded him.

"Raise your hand if you want to go through the door. It needs both of us to open it."

"Striker, I'm still not sure why you insist on pulling random plot devices out of your ass and trying to get me to go along with them. I find it rather insulting that you seem to think I need to relive what I go through in my head every day. I know what happened, and their is no need for me to see it again today." The smoke Dane had become still wasn't forming completely, and he knew why.

I swear. Every time I try to use something new this s*** happens. Annoying as hell.

"Striker. Tell me this now. What would be the ultimate point of going? If I wanted to go the past, I could travel to First Earth. At least there I could make a profit with something. In memories I'm stuck with s*** I've been though. Do not want."

"What else am I supposed to do?" asked Striker as he lowered his hand. "Did you want me to dance like a fool?" Striker headed to the door that lead to the weight room so he could lift some weights.

"Anyway, would you like to join me in some strength training?" Striker's main hobby was strength training. He started do it because he needed to be fit in order to play football. His agility was improving slowly, but his endurance was 10% better than it used to be. However, that didn't mean he was better in RP fights.

"If you need me, I'll be doing Power Cleans." Striker then left Dane by himself and entered the weight room.

Wow a lot of posts since I last came here 8 |

And to put MY two cents on the blocktext posting Twig brought up. While I've learned to read it I honestly can't stand it at all, since if you do not read it carefully you are more likely to make a mistake. With spacing your works it not only makes it easier to read but look nicer.

Now I am ready for a duel 83

Eh, all that really happens here is roleplay fights anyways.

I need to reintroduce my character anyways.

The death thing was getting oooold =.=

I honestly didn't do the spacing because I mainly followed the way everyone else posted.

If you want me to do so I will.

I have no problem going against you both.

In fact I think this'll be the perfect oppertunity to have Andrew and Katie fight

What?
Why us?

Because you two haven't fought yet and I don't feel like
1.) Abandoning Fusion in the Negima Universe
2.) Having Jesse around here again for another few months/posts
3.) Lora fight again

Alright
If you want us too

Walking up and through the doors Andrew gave a very audiable sigh as he walked into the fighting ring and got ready to "duck it out" with one of Jake's friends. Looking up at him he wondered what kind of fighter this man was, he obviously wanted him to make the first move, but that normally didn't work with how Andrew fought. Yet he was not the type to give up a free shot and decided to take it. Changing into his speed form he raced across the floor and swung for a very intense punch to the upper right shoulder.

Dane had just returned to a physical form as a stranger came rushing into the room and tried to take a punch at his right shoulder. Dane quickly turned around to where a giant backpack he was wearing took the majority of the punch, but he still flew back about five feet.

"You have no respect for people do you? What an outlandish attack that was." Dane turned around and glared at the newcomer with such a look only one person could muster. Someone who's emotions where never the same. Someone who had the most powerful of masks at his disposal.

"I certainly hope that's the way you ask for a fight, not the way you try to make frie-..." Dane trailed off as he noticed that three of his precious masks had flown off the backpack, and looked at Andrew with an expression of pure anger. His wide open eyes would pierce the most hardened warriors, and he hoped this would be no exception.

"My. Masks. You sir, need to be taught a lesson. A lesson my most powerful, and my prized possession, could only teach." Reaching into the bag, Dane pulled out a bag in the shape of a heart. Four spikes protruded from each side of the point of the heart, while two more rested on top.

"Do you know what this is? This is the most powerful mask you will ever see. MAJORA, I CALL YOU." As he said this, the mask began to float into the air, and swell into size until it was just as large as a child. Then, from the back of the mask, several whips sprouted, all ready to attack the newcomer.

"Before we began, what is your name?"

Andrew had taken Dane's death glare without even flinching, it did not matter to him how someone looked upon him at any period in time. It was about then that the man he had been summoned to duel with began making a big deal about a couple, three to be percise, masks which had fallen from the backpack which earlier had been used as a makeshift shield. Then Andrew watched the Majora's mask transformed into it's first form, something he had seen when Lora was playing the Majora's Mask video game if his memoy was correct . . . and he had a photographic memory. Dane then addressed Andrew, questioning for his name.

"The title which I go by is Andrew," taking a set back he decided to put on a slight show, possibly shocking the opponent into not desiring to fight anymore so he could get back to work, and metallic tentacles sprouted from his back as he interfaced with the entire hotel's technology, "Master Key and chief engineer to Jake."

"I. Have. NEVER. Met. Someone. With. As. Little. Disrespect. To. Masks. As. YOU. Masks are amazing artifacts of power, of grace. Of mind reading even! Yet fools like you lead to the destruction of three of my masks!" Dane pointed to the first of the three masks on the floor. It was a strap on mask with a design that looked like a plumber.

"THAT MASK would allow it's wearer to gain all the agility, strength, and powers of a certain Mario Mario. THAT mask was near impossible to get. Now that the ear is chipped, it will NEVER work AGAIN. Then the one next to it, the Couple's Mask which is now split in half, would soothe the heart of anyone with inner turmoil, allowing them to see clearly. The last mask really wasn't that great, but I could have made a profit from selling it, but now it's scratched all down the side! I had gone to great lengths to get those, buuuut nooooow, you come in and destroy three of my masks. I can't believe you!" Dane ranted with the obvious distaste of Andrew in his mouth. Dane then pulled another mask out of his pocket and showed it to Andrew.

"I should use this mask too. Let you have a taste of two of the most powerful foes you would ever see! You know what, I should! Fierce Deity, I summon you!" The mask began to rise into the air, and with a bright flash of light, a tall swordsman with a twisted, double helix blade appeared. His eyes were as blank as a sheet, and his white armor glistened in the light.

"Normally I would never send these two out at the same time, they don't get along well and all that, but now's not the time to worry!" As he said this, Majora floated into the air and began to charge a blast of energy to fire at Andrew, while the Fierce Deity charged at him with his giant blade.

Striker stepped out of the weight room after a 2 hour workout. He noticed two powerful figures next to Dane and another person he had never met.

"I see that I have finished my workout at the wrong time." Striker was about to leave, but a powerful urge to stay and watch surged through him. This might get interesting. It'll give me a chance to learn the fighting style of my friend, Dane. He decided to sit in the VIP Section, since it was built by him, and watched the show while eating his favorite candy bar, Heath.

"This is getting good!"

Sorry for not posting earlier, I got sidetracked by the SoP Final Post 83
Ducking as the sword was swun towards his neck Andrew slide swiftly under the Fierce Diety's arm and stood back up with his front turned away from him. The metallic tentacles which had sprouted from his back twisted around the summoned mask's body and lifted him up and held onto him tightly. The creature could struggle but it would be nearly impossible for it to break through Andrew's hold. If it had the chance to chop of a limb it would be regrown in double; the only possible chance of escape was to be released willingly or break all of the tentacles at once. But that was going to be difficult as Andrew swung him around to use as a shield against the Majora Mask's charged beam. Even if the attack wasn't completed he leapt forward, pushing into the blast to minimized any damage he would have recieved.

Watching from the sidelines Katie didn't appear to be impressed with Dane's display of summoning. She had her arms crossed and her right foot tapped steadily.

Finally finished that eh? There's some good news.

"That's not near enough to stop the Deity Andrew. His dark power is near as strong as Majora's, if not stronger." As Dane said this, the Fierce Deity began straining against the tentacles to try and distract Andrew as Majora swung itself behind Andrew and started to swing it's own tentacles at Andrews.

As those two struggled, Dane took a step back and slowly faded out of view. Out of the shadows, his voice was amplified as if he was using a microphone. "Have faith, just have faith. He, he, heh..."

As he said this, Deity's struggling became more powerful, strong enough to slowly bend the tentacles and he began to glow with a dim light. Majora began to slash with twice as much power and twice as fast. "Andrew, Andrew, Andrew. Even if you destroy those two, I have plenty more where that came from. Masks have been my specialty for the longest time. I can't believe I never used them much before."

"Ugh, another amateur fight. Honestly Dane can you just kill one of these people already? They aren't THAT strong, are they? I bet I could handle them." Ice said as he casually walked into the room where a fight was going on. Dane had a set of masks and two of the strongest beings to ever exist on his side. On the other side were people he had never met before. Something he should have expected, he supposed. Ice took a sip of his coffee as stood against the left wall of the room and watched the battle, observing their moves.

"Something cool better happen or I'm killing Striker. I swear."

Andrew was beginning to have a hard time taking on an ever increasing struggle against the Fierce Diety all the while dodging the attacks from Majora. In fact he was being hit too often for his taste, taking too much damage, and released the Fierce Diety before transforming into another of his three forms. This form had more armor than the speed form, but was by no means bulky or would way him down. In fact it almost looked as if he had reverted back to normal and he stared down the two summoned masks. He was calculating the best course of action to take in defeating them. "The Fierce Deity would be the most troublesome in strength," he thought as his gaze shifted to the other, "However Majora's Mask has more forms and will not go down easily." A sudden gust of wind as blades sliced through Majora's tentacles erupted, ceasing only when Katie landed beside her partner. Standing up she waved the blade fan slightly with a callious look, "What are you doing waisting your time Andrew?"

And Dane I am REVIEWING it to see if I have messed up on anything. If everything turns out right I will be putting it up tonight. A freaking 13 page monster 8O

"You do realize I'm 10 feet away from you Ice," said Striker as he took a sip of his ice cold Root Beer. "Anyway, you would severely wound me, but never kill me. That is the truth." He had seen Ice fight before, and it wasn't pretty. Ice's multiple personalities would come out at once and destroy you logically, physically, and emotionally.

"Ice, to tell you the truth, I'd rather watch this fight than fight you. What do you say?" Striker hoped that Ice would say no, because he wanted to observe Dane's Mask fighting style.

"My personalities are dead, stupid. I can kill you if I want too. Letting you live and beating you down is much more fun. And besides, I can hit you from 10 feet away. Here's an example of that." And with that Ice threw his cup of coffee at Striker again as another one materialized in his hand. He smelled the familiar aroma of the coffee and took a sip, savoring the taste.

"Ah, Brew #107. My personal favorite. Anyways, I would love to fight somebody to pass the time, but you'd probably cower out of it, so I guess we'll just watch the fight." Ice turned back towards the two dueling and watched as the unknown douchebag cut off Majora's tentacles. He shook his head, laughing at the guy's futile attempts to defeat two gods.

"Really? What happened to them, especially Scar?" Scar was the main personality Ice brought out to face Striker. Scar was the master of useing the logic of others against them. Hearing that he was dead along with the other personalities broght a mix of joy and sadness to Striker.

"Mind telling me how they died. They werre apart of you, and I'm shocked that they are gone." Striker knew that Ice had to go through a tough process in order to get rid of his personalities; the same process he had to go through to get rid of War Torn. As he finished his thought, Ice's coffe hit him.

"Not cool Ice."

"They're gone. Dead. Poof. I didn't need them anymore, is the abridged version. The unabridged tale involves murders and plot twists and time travel and I REALLY don't want to get into that. It doesn't matter. I'm as strong, if not stronger than before. Honestly you've only faced the hilt of my blade, metaphorically speaking. I'd love to go into detail if you'd amuse me and actually fight with me. Re-using my attorney powers gets oh so repetitive and sometimes I just want to f*** around and try new things. I believe you'd understand that." Uttered Ice as he was finishing his 3rd cup of coffee. He frowned at the fact that it was running out, but focused back on Striker.

"So what do you say, buddy."
