Finally! This is the power Atman was hoping for! With Meltdown in effect, both of them are at their peak strength. Probably in an attempt to get him to lose sightif her, Lora was circling Atman at an almost ridiculously fast pace. Lora was fast, but Atman was still faster, and she slashed, only to be blocked by Lora's weapon. Amid the sparks, he barely saw Lora's staff reach for his stomach. He quickly moved his free hand and grabbed the butt of the staff, causing his palm to bleed. A lot. Atman grinned at the irony. "Got'cha," he said, as he lifted his foot and kicked Lora in the gut.

Lora grunted and flew back a couple feet, tumbling on the ground and skidding, but stopped in midair with her overflowing energy. Raising her head up her energy swirled into a ball and shot at Atman, breaking up into many smaller attacks as she shundoed with perfect accuracy. Appearing behind Atman she swung the staff around his neck to lock him into a chokehold as the blasts bombarded his body until she threw him high into the air, charging another more powerful blast to end the fight; the room shaking from the compressing power.

Atman suddenly realized he created, or at least provoked the arrival of, a monster. This huge blast that she sent at his could actually fatally wound him...

...pffffft. Hah. Yea. That was funny. But, seriously. If he was [i]alive[/i], it could actually kill him. At least he got to see Lora's true strength. Despite her knowing so, she's probably just short of, if not equal to, her dad. He trained her well. Now he can give her her gift. And Jake's, too, since he forgot... at least, he thought he forgot...

Just before impact, Atman teleported away. The ball of energy exploded just as Lora planned, but with no target behind it. As the smoke faded away, she would see. Soon after the smoke cleared, Atman's voice rang though the air. "Well done!"

Atman teleported in, just a few feet from Lora, and his theme song stopped playing. "You passed my expectations." Atman said, as he rubbed the back of his head. "Seriously, though, you did! You sure know how to hit a guy where it hurts."

Just before Lora would respond, he casted Curaga on the two of them, healing most of their wounds.

Feeling the healing spell cure her wounds and give back whatever stamina it could she grinned, her eyes sparking with new found energy, and stood up to her full height. Her battle aura, however, had not gone down in the least and was still swirling around her as if it was a miniature hurricane. The massive attack had her breathing heavily despite Atman's cure, but it wasn't going to stop her from continuing. Suddenly reaching out to grab Atman, all intent on crushing his skull in, a figure reached out and stopped her, his own hand completely covering the young woman's as she looked at him in anger.

"That'll be enough," he said feeling her fighting against him. Breaking free she took a small jump back and crouched down as if she was going to begin assaulting this man which only cause him to laugh. Raising his hands he left himself completely defensless if she did and merely looked at her in amusement, "Really? Are you possibly thinking of attacking [i]me[/i]?"

"Lora that is enough," her father said standing up, easing the cramps from his legs, and she stood up with a sway; her vision becoming blurry. Starting to sway even more Jake caught her from falling on the hard floor and looked at Atman, "I think you went a bit too far with having her bring up that much power."

"Oh come now [i]brother[/i]," the man said crossing his arms, "She needs to learn how to summon more of her power if she is going to be of any use."

Broken was actually starting to feel a little antzy. He had been mulling over possible fights using his stanzas and had gotten overly excited from thinking baout Stanza Twelve, the third most powerful but easily also the most fun. [i]'Man, it really is a fun one when I consider what I can do with it; but it seems the pee wee parade is over, pity'[/i] he thought to himself. This was somewhat unsettling as he actually made actions as if he was talking out loud, or to himself.

Laughing the man looked at Atman with a raised eyebrow and then turned to face him, "You obviously don't know much about Jake's family do you boy . . . sad since that'd get you killed in a fight with them. Lora has actually more power than she can handle . . . so what you did was opposite of training her you idiot. Force her too use too much and she goes into a short of animalistic berserker mode where she will kill anything within sight."

"And, if we hadn't been her to stop her she could and would have killed you . . . again despite being dead already," the man said as if it was all no big deal. While he was speaking Jake had taken Lora over to the bench and placed her gently on it, moving some of her hair out of the calm sleeping face with a look of concern on his. Pulling out his phone he flipped it open and sent a message to Katie and Andrew down below to retrieve her so they can take her back to his room. Buisness out of the way he turned to Atman as well, "Just remember not to tease her like you were doing. Jesse and I can't be around at all times . . . and the others couldn't get her in time to stop her."

"By the way," he then addressed the man, obviously the Jesse he had referred too, "I thought I told you not to come here. Last time you took out an entire five floors just for [i]fun[/i]."

"Just had a gut feeling I should be here . . . and good thing too," Jesse replied motioning with his head to Atman and Lora, "But since I'm not welcomed, I'll be going."

not like each blow was breaking bones or something . . .

And once the chance arrose he responded to his questioning, "There is a way, as you saw we can both handle her on our own when hse gets into that kind of state. It's not an impossability for someone else to do it as well, they just need to be stronger than her or beat her fast enough; as you can tell the chances of that are slim."

"As for your second question," Jake said as the door swooshed open to reveal Jesse with the two who had been summoned, a grin on his face, "Look who I ran into down the hall."

"Convienient excuse to just come back," he stated aggervated his [i]friend[/i] hadn't left yet, but didn't want to get into a physical debate about it. Watching Andrew and Katie examining Lora he returned to his conversation with Atman, "It is the same power that everyone present, save my sister, has and has had to learn to control over time. But she will learn [i]nothing[/i] from just loosing control."

It being possible to control Lora in her rage. That's... Not what Atman meant. Would it be possible for [i]Lora[/i] to control [i]herself[/i]? Or would she have to depend on others to break her out of 'Trance' forever?

More specifically, the block form of Miles Edgeworth. To anyone who ever played Minecraft, it would have been rather obvious what he had done... To others, it would be a mystery what he could do.

As he watched Atman chit-chat with the others, he pulled out a workbench and plunked it down next to him. He proceeded to smack the table and started to craft. [i]Fishing Rod maybe? No, I have one. Brand new... Spawner maybe? Skelly spawner would be fun right now. With all these people, surely someone would get hit by the arrows... Bread? Sure, I have a full stack of wheat.[/i] After he decided, he placed six stalks of wheat in stacks of two in a horizontal row, which resulted in two pieces of bread. He proceeded to destroy his workbench, and sat down to watch whatever may happen next.

Jesse began laughing as Atman asked his obsurd question. He had in fact began laughing so hard he had to hold his sides to prevent himself from doubling over. Finally stopping he looked up at Atman with a grin, "You're d*mn right she ain't human. But to say she isn't would also be a lie. In fact the truth is much more complicated, so much so that you'd never be able to understand it in a million years."

"Jesse no need to be rude," Jake stated angerly, but he had to admit despite being mean towards Atman he was right. Mulling it over in his head he tried to think of an explination that Atman could understand and finally fell back on his most convineant one he'd ever come up with, "Atman, Lora is what is known as a 'Master Key'. She is an ascended being with enormous powers and capabilities, like Jesse and myself; also including Jackie, Katie, Andrew and a couple others. We have no physical bodies per say-"

"So we create them to mingle with the likes of you," Jesse interrupted pointing a finger at Atman.

I thought you'd have to be incredibly intelligent and wise to achieve such a state." The look on Atman's face said that he believed Jake might be ascended, but Jesse....

Dude I hate to step in but....

I don't like this post. In fact I do not hesitate to say that in any rp you didn't run such a post will get you in some massive trouble.

The bold, and others under it, state that your characters are basically more powerful then everyone else, or atleast atman.

While not a godmod this is pretty much a stated intent to godmod, by citing your characters as far above the other players it pretty much translates to "yeah your never allowed to beat me" and this in turn pretty much means your godmodding

Atleast with the tier system it simply meant which characters could be considered more powerful in terms of raw strength or energy, it was easily subverted if one was cunning.

Instead we have a "yeah this random girl is super powerful cause she's jakes and all his characters are like that".

I would say it's debatable but it's essintially the equivalent of bringing a machine gun into a building, you didn't shoot the thing but it's clear that you probbaly intended to.

Any owner worth his ooc would have gotten you a warning for this.

OH and look, ascended beings with no physical bodies and can create them to live among us. How.... HUMBLE

[Fusion X. Denver]

The trees rushing past the speeding figure began to thin out. The figure in a green, blazing aura dashed through the woods, doing his best to maintain his balance. [i]Is he[/i] still [i]on my tail?[/i] He looked back, seeing his pursuer closing in behind him. The cloaked marauder reached into the black, billowing folds and withdrew a sword, firing a beam of light from the tip at his running prey. Gathering power in his legs, the green warrior jumped into the air, barely dodging the attack.

"So, you're still bent on collecting my bounty, eh Mapho?"

"I swore to bring you in ever since our first encounter, Fusion!" Mapho drew his sword back, charging light inside the blade before swinging the sword in an arc, sending a wave of light at his opponent. Fusion quickly formed his trademark fireball, expanding it into a wave and countering the light wave in a green burst seconds before impact. The explosion sent him flying down into the range of Mapho's swinging sword.

"Mapho, my bounty's been revoked for a while now! It was all a misunderstanding in the first place!" Fusion quickly halted himself in mid-air, his green aura changing color to a deep shade of red. He extended his hands forward, clasping themselves around the sides of the blade. Wrenching his arms to the right, he easily ripped the sword in two, grinning at Mapho's exasperated expression. "Come on, can't we call a truce?"

"DIE!" Mapho reached into his cloak to grab a dagger, but was not quick in doing so. Fusion quickly focused energy into his palm, condensing and changing the properties into lighting. He flipped his body right-side up behind Mapho, unleashing the stored electricity at his back. Mapho uttered a shriek, dropping to his knees as his skin simmered with a burning sensation tickling Fusion's nostrils.

Breathing a sigh of relief, Fusion landed on his feet, extinguishing the red aura surrounding him. "I'll never understand why this guy is considered as a reputable bounty hunter." He walked through the clearing, grinning at the sight of his destination looming in the distance. [i]Finally, the school I've been looking for![/i] The young upstart clenched his fist in anticipation, dashing towards the famed institution. [i]Now I can get the training I need to become stronger![/i]

Dane left the arena after he finished eating his bread. It had only made him hungrier, so he decided to raid the kitchen to find some eggs. He knew that to make it to the kitchen he would have to go through the main hall, but it didn't prepare him for what he saw. Just as he made it into the hall, a figure in green came bursting through the door. Within seconds, Dane had ran to the door. "Hey, who are you?"

However, he didn't even have to wait for an answer... As he looked at the new guest, he could guess rather easily. "Fusion? IS that you? No wonder I didn't recognize you, you look kinda rough. Not been getting enough food? Or just traveling for a while? Either way, take this."

With this, he threw Fusion a cooked porkchop. "You'll probably want to talk to [i]Jake[/i] although I wouldn't recommend it. He's giving Atman a lecture about why he sucks and how he and his family are amazing. Fun times, right?"

"It's alright Dane. I'll take it from here." Ken said as he approached the two. While not expecting Fusion, as an assistant teacher for the school Ken felt that it would be in the schools best interest to accept the newcomer.

"Come, I'll get you a room and some new clothes will be made to your specifications once everything is settled in. You begin training when you are of a healthy weight again."

I hate to say it but you don't seem to need training here.

No wait, better yet, you can't get training here.

It's not a school anymore.

Well Nexev, it's his choice. I just continue the Teacher RP even though this is more like a coliseum than anything.

If he wants to train, I'll help him train.

Of course it would be simpler if done by PM, but I digress. Let the poor kid join for kicks.
