"Well, Lorana, you can train with me if you want," Atman said loudly, breaking off from his fight with Dane. "Seeing as how it's been two pages and Dane hasn't responded, I'd say I can go ahead and fight with you. And if anything, I'll duplicate myself to fight both of you."

"Don't worry, though, I won't make twenty mes to fight you," Atman added. With that, he holstered his gunblade and walked over to the corner Lora and her father were at, without crossing the red tape. Atman wanted to fight with Lora back in his YCM RP, but didn't get a chance. Lora, and Dane, were one of the few people whose strength Atman was unsure of. But, purely out of sexism, he assumed Lora was not that strong.

"Now," Atman said, as Kain's Lance appeared in his hand, "I'll go easy on you if you wish."
Lora gave a small frown when Atman called her by the entire first name, something she only allowed family members to do, and even then she retaliates against them, but she listened none-the-less. He had explained that, since Dane didn't seem to want to train anymore, he could take up sparring with her and she was happy he gave the offer. She accepted the offer and watched as he made a lance appear in hand and speak, "I'll go easy on you if you wish."

"You'd better not," She said walking out of the red tape and moving into the center of the official training area. Getting into a fighting stance she smiled, "He better remember dad's trained me almost every single day . . . so I may not be as good as him, but I'm no push over."

"Lora, try not to kill him. I don't want to have to clean up after you AGAIN." Ken chided, watching events unfold. Even without Creator, I don't like Striker and he still can't RP properly.

Ken was watching from the edge of the room where he had just finished sparing against to upper classmen, besting them both numerous times with slight ease. He had intended to spare with Lora next, but it seems now that she is occupied.

DeathlyFiend cam to an eased position and got up from where he was sitting. A clone of DeathlyFiend appeared back to where he was sitting.

"Clone, take notes and study everything that is going to happen between these people." He had commanded.

The clone gave a slight nod signaling 'yes'. DeathlyFiend went over to the others and looked all around him for anything that could of happened to this land while he was sitting down.

Broken appeared behind Deathly, chiefly grabbing him by the ear. 'You know, when I said you had detention, I mean, NOW you have detention' he explained, though it seemed too menacing. He proceeded to drag Deathly by the ear out of the room. Before they left, he casted a glare at the clone from across the room ,causing it to explode. 'Don't try anything funny either, whilst I have you in my ear pincer, you can't do anything' he added.

He dragged Deathly all the way to a simple white room and literally hurled him in there by the ear. 'This room will nullify your abilities, and when I come back, I expect you to have written a hundred times 'I will not engage in street brawls' on the blackboard, go it?' he demanded and slammed the door shut, it locked automatically.

Atman could see Lora frown when he called her by her entire first name. Good. If he gets her mad enough, she's bound to unleash her full power in the form of rage. Then Atman could finally see just how strong she is. He readied his lance, and began crouching, building up energy in his legs. After a few seconds, he jumped high into the air (while a battle theme mysteriously started out of nowhere), almost hitting the ceiling, and began diving, lance first and aimed at Lora's face.

"Attempting to use the combat style of a Dragoon will get you killed." Ken chided. "Bounding around aimlessly trying to land a hit is pointless. Fight like a true warrior." Ken had no interest in combatants that chose flare and style over effectiveness.

The music had distracted Lora a bit as Atman leapt down at her with his lance full front. However she was not distracted for long, spinning in place like a professional dancer so that it grazed against her cheek, only leaving a shallow cut, and ducked to avoid having Atman's entire body from plowing into her. Hopping back up she wiped the blood from her cheek and thrusted both hands out in front of her, a wooden staff materializing in front of her, and gripped it tightly. Spinning it around with grace and persicion she slammed it to the ground and sent a wave of energy surrounding, pushing everything back; however it got deflected off of her father's red taped barrier, showing how massive it actually was.

With a quite sad expression on his face, DeathlyFiend asked "Am I still in detention?"

He sat staring at the walls, while tossing a knife up and down out of boredom. Nothing was happening and he was along, he could not study the battle that he had hoped to do before he ended up in her.

"There must be something that I can do, even if I cannot practice my techniques. This room has nothing that interests me. Will someone please get me out of here?" DeathlyFiend begged.

Thinking fast, Atman's hand began to glow with a mystical blue light. "Shell," he shouted, as the light spread across his person, creating a magical barrier. Shell, however, was only a tier one spell, so when Lora's wave hit, it was enough to stagger him for a moment, even enough to almost make him fall over. "Not bad," Atman said, grinning, "for a beginner." Atman knew Lora was well trained, and Lora should know that Atman knows she's well trained. Hopefully she'll take the 'beginner' comment as an insult. Regaining his bearings, Atman's hands began glowing once more, instead in a menacing red light. Sticking the lance into the ground, he began throwing multiple Fira spells at the girl.

Not letting Atman a second of comfert, after the beginners insult, she used a shundo to rapidly close the distance between them. As she moved a an astounding rate of speed she used her staff to almost slap away the magical blasts shot at her, sending them flying off course into the walls, floor and ceiling. Skidding she cursed under her breath and quickly turned her head to the right, she had overshot the shundo and got behind Atman instead of upclose like she desired. However this wasn't a bad situtation in itself, since she had his back she could use this to her advantage, and pulled the staff in front of her like a bow. Drawing an invisible arrow a beam of light formed and shot out at Atman, "Una lusis!"

Not a bad speed, she's getting angrier, Atman thought to himself, but she can definitely do better. And Lora shot the arrow of light from her staff, Atman backflipped over the arrow. (If Lora would look closely, she would see the lance previously stuck in the ground vanish.) However, he was not fast enough and the shot his tail. Ignoring the pain for now, he landed on his feet and turned to face Lora. "'Una lusis'? I can't tell if that's a failed attempt at Spanish or Latin."

Now a thought came to him. Not exactly an insult, but hopefully helpful to get Lora to raeg-mode. Antagonism. Instead of his lance, a dark sword with purple details appeared in his hands. An eerie black aura formed around it."Shooting 'light' are ya'? Then I'll shoot darkness!" With these words, he moved the sword back as if the recoil of a gun. Multiple heat-seaking balls of dark energy started flying at Lora. (If one hits it'll drag Lora back towards Atman painfully).

OoC: Dun worry, they only last about twenty seconds.

Full of boredom and annoyance, he starts banging on the door to at least get some to notice him and get him out of this place. "Please, I have learned my lesson, I will no intrude on any more fights that are not supervised, I will stop talking in both past and present tense, and I will give more time for a reaction." DeathFiend cried out, hoping for someone to open this door and finally let him out! What do I have to do that will get me out of here, that is all I wish and no one has yet to reply no me." He slid down the door and popped out his wings to play around with his knives again, until he was let free.

The heat seeking attacks seem to be going for Lora until they verr off into another direction completely. Instead of somehow just loosing track of being deflected they had found Lora when hse used another shundo to make a mad dash of an escape, but not knowing the attack'd follow her. Eyes wide she went into another shundo . . . and then another . . . and then another in an attempt to make them loose track of her. Gritting her teeth hse faced forward and shundoed right behind Atman, having the blasts tracking her all the way into it's own user. Rolling to avoid the explosion she stopped and pulled another arrow of light, aiming into the smoke, "That shouldn't have been enough to beat him, could it?"

OoC: Do me a favour and reply to the post so that I get a notification.

The smoke cleared, revealing that Atman's Shell held through the blast. But before fading back into invisibility, the magical shield clearly looked cracked, and was ready to break. And it did, as Lora's arrow of light hit him head on, and the shield exploded. Atman was knocked back, but fortunately the pain was minimal. Atman was getting annoyed. Not because Lora was a better fighter than he thought, but because her shundo is all she's been using to attack/defend. Atman gritted his teeth, then yelled. "YOU'RE NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT'S FAST!" With that, he ran at the girl in an orange-ish aura; the second of the only five buffs he knows, Haste. He ran at a speed faster than her shundo, but not by much. He can't let Haste wear off. Buffs are great, but if the same buff is used multiple times, it only gets weaker and weaker.

Casting his 'buff worry' aside, and began slashing at her with his Soul Eater.

Lora watched as Atman suddenly vanished and felt the edge of his blade cutting into her skin. She had guessed he used a technique not even her dad knew, since she had never seen it preformed, and had to think quickly of a way to stop him. Being knocked back she had covered her face, to prevent it being too heavily damaged, and remebered a trick she had learned from her father. Lowering her head she waited for the moment to strike and then lashed out with her hands, grabbing hold of Atman's blade and stopping it and it's weilder at the same time. Grinning, blood running down her hand, she clenched her fist, "Got'cha!"

He runs into the door thinking it would knock down, but when they both collided, DeathlyFiend was the one that got knocked down. Feeling woozy, he fainted with no breathe to spare. His body was just lying there on the ground, completely conscienceless. No sound came out of him or the outside, he gone out of this world and might be trapped until a breathe can finally escape from him.

"FUUUUU-" Atman said, as he was knocked back by Lora's punch. Pain was starting to catch up with him. And pain was a b¡tch. Lora was good, but something was lacking. Lora was not at her strongest yet. He had to keep going, but he didn't want to seem like a cheater by just using Curaga; this was training, not a battle to the death. But if it meant revealing Lora's true strength...

Atman didn't go for the Cure, but came up with another idea. A bardsong. But not just any bardsong. A battle-bardsong! Even if it would give Lora added strength, at least he'd gain more stamina, too. He stood up, as if unfazed from Lora's gut-punch. "Hey," he said, "you're getting kinda boring, so... Mind if I switch the tune? No? Thanks."

Even though Atman seemed to do nothing, the current battle song clearly stopped. It was then replaced by his own theme song, Meltdown (which can be found in my sig). A new weapon, his gunblade, the Requiem, appeared in his hand as the Soul Eater vanished from Lora's hand. And so, with his foot tapping, he began to speak again. "Sorry for the delay. I'm a musical kind of guy. Now... Let me... play a piece for you." Atman switched his weapon to Sword Mode, and charged, slashing, and being extra careful to look out for that trick. "It's your Requiem!"

(OoC: Lora should feel somewhat more energized with that song playing.)

Feeling a strange wave of energy flowing through her, one she did not recognize, her body seemed to desire to move on it's own. It was as if she could not stay standing still for any length of time, surely this had to be a trick from Atman, "But why would he want me to just keep moving? To wear me down?" Racing around the room at an amazing speed she kept her eyes on Atman as he changed weapons to a gunblade, something she had definately seen before, and changed it to it's sword mode before charging at her. Close enough Lora skidded to a stop, blocking the swipe with the mass of her sword which sent sparks flying through the training room, and her aura sparked to life like a wildfire. Eyes glowing with an indistinguishable desire she threw off the blade, spun around, and rapidly struck him in the stomach with the butt end of the staff, "弓スタッフ天ピアス! [Bow Staff: Heavens Pierce]"

The small pane of glass to the detention room slid down a little. 'Firstly, your previous post used present tense. Maybe you should write some lines, you know, like I told you to. Also, add 'I will not role play in the present tense unless I am role playing in the first person' as well to your hundred lines' he stated and then closed the window. A small shudder went up his spine. 'I'm getting a sense of deja...Fantasy' he hissed and vanished again.

He returned to the battle hall to see, suprise suprise, another battle it. It seemed someone was using every tired final fantasy trick from final fantasy four. 'You know Atman, usually when someone is doing the bardsong technique, they don't move or attack, as they're too busy singing'.
