Allright straight to the point, Do tokens count as monsters? Like if you have a card that says "This monster gains 400 ATK for every monster on your opponents side of the field" do the tokens on his/her side of the field count toward it?

To make it more specific, they count as monsters until they are removed from the field. For example, tokens would not count as monsters after they are destroyed, as they do not exist in the Graveyard.
