Does this conflict's arc end or is it still continuing?

It ends. It's not that long of an arc, but a good one still. After you finish it though, you'll be on the current arc, which just started not too long ago. It's a great idea for an arc, but the way it's done does not measure up to my hopes like I thought it would :/

Mkay:

Favorite Character: Enma when he's not an idiot
Least Favorite Character: [s]Lady Gaga, though she has the best name ever. [/s] Creeper who turns out to be the original Mist Guardian... what?

And you guys were right about Chrome after all... how unfortunate.

Really? The current arc's my favorite of the whole series and I'm actually on the edge of my seat waiting for a new Reborn chapter every week for once .__.
Considering your preferences Wraith, you'll be met with some good news...

It's my second favorite arc I guess, but there's some parts that could be done better. Don't get me wrong, it's got a LOT of anticipation going for it, and I love it! It's just missing something... My favorite arc remains to be the Future arc. So amazing :'D

On chapter 335, only a little less than 35 chapters to go and BOY AM I FEELING IT. But honestly, Byakuran must have been some weak-ass-sh*t, if no-good tsuna faces trouble from here on out.

Also, Favorite family: Vindice. Though I get pissed at them, I find them the most intriguing.

I just don't understand how any of this really works out. In all the other dimensions wouldn't Enma's family have won (but more specifically Daemon) since that was the only one where they actually beat Byakuran and got much stronger? Wouldn't they have still fought them at some point anyway? Wouldn't they have lost then and not exist in the future. Or at least be in prison then. So how is it in the other dimensions Byakuran had beaten them specifically if Enma and them (or more specifically Daemon) would have kickeds their asses?

This kind of logic is pretty common in manga. You watch the protagonist reach new heights and grow immensely in power to defeat the ultimate enemy, only to seem weak in comparison to another enemy who was somehow not strong enough to defeat the first ultimate enemy. It's dumb, and pretty much it's just the writers downgrading the lead character so that they can continue the series and make people reading feel like the protagonist is still growing stronger. Though as annoying as it is, it works quite often.

Edit: Also, I'm pretty sure that Enma's family growing strong relied on them getting that blood vial, which required Byakuran to be defeated. So chronologically, it does actually make sense. Enma's family didn't get strong until after Byakuran left.

Though my statement still stands.

I know about all that. It's just the way they did it that creates a hole in the plot.

Actually, no. Believe me, I already thought about that. The ceremony was held afterwards because the ninth boss knew about all that. In between those 10 years (not even) he'd still have had it at some point and that's when they would have struck, right? And based on all the stuff he had done and all that other crap it was probably about 5-7 years. And on another note, wouldn't Enma be able to kick Byakuran's ass in the future? That is, if Tsuna and them hadn't gone to the future and Enma and them had succeeded (or Deamon).

Though my statement still stands.

I'm not accusing you of saying that. And you're right. The plot hole is definitely there, but it's pretty easy to ignore if you don't think too hard about it. I still think the downgrading is what annoys me the most :/

Yeah, I know. I look past it pretty easily. And yeah, downgrading in anime is very annoying sometimes.

All this is moot because they ruined the whole series for me by trying to explain time travel. I have to ignore that whole arc now ;-;

By the way, is the Daemon arc where he takes control of Mukuro's body part of the enma family arc or the current arc?

Half a year? Well I just finished over 7 years of writing in about a week. Probably less.

Took me like a month from start to finish. [s]But that's counting days I didn't read just because or I was at my mom's and my labtop would stop responding on page 6 or so.[/s]
