Yes.
Do you really see Hibari being eliminated this early?

I just don't see the Varia losing to one guy >.>

But you know neither of them has to be eliminated

Some team somewhere else could be

Collonello IS aiming for 3 teams you know >.>

That's true, their fight could finish without being concluded due to some interruption or they could simply go at it without destroying any watches.
I'm just betting Hibari > All of them in an actual fight. Who knows what direction the plot will take with them.
But if plot-no-jutsu doesn't save them, I think Hibari will knock out the Varia.

...how? O_o

let me remind you Squalo and the rest of the Varia have gotten much stronger since the Ring conflict...admittedly Hibari has too

But that'd be like beating all the Vongola guardians sans Tsuna together .3.

lol, all it took was one link to get the party started.

Once again, amazing work for KHR. I just wish they'd get to more action, because the suspense is KILLING ME!! Still, I guess that's just how they keep you hooked. Anywho, Hibari losing is next to impossible. The entire series up to now emphasizes that Hibari is vastly stronger than just about anyone else. Not that he can't lose. It's just that it wouldn't make much sense to have him get all involved and build suspense, only to have him lose. Plus, all I've seen from Varia is new rings. Sure, they're probably stronger, but there's no real new techniques or anything. And Xanxus doesn't even do anything.

Actually, my dear Remmy, that's not exactly true. He's always been strong and throughout the manga has gotten even stronger. It's only ever been said that he's the strongest guardian. Tsuna is stronger than him. Tsuna's superiority over Hibari (or at least future superiority) has been seen since they first meet up in the manga. Sure he still got his butt kicked but he got that punch in on Hibari easy. And that was the original dying will mode. There was then the ring conflict where Tsuna destroyed the mosca. Hibari would not have been able to defeat the mosca when it was beserk. That was blatantly stated by somebody. I don't remember who. And he probably would have lost to Emma too. I can imagine Hibari doing something to escape/plug up the dark whole but I don't know if it'd really work. Oh! And don't forget how he was owned by Daemon. Although Tsuna did have Emma hyper tag-team Hibari was dispatched just too easily. So Hibari is strong and that's been made well aware of but it's only been made aware of him being the strongest guardian.

And to the Varia rings thing, well they seem to somehow have their box animals and they actually do seem to be upgraded. And the Varia have knowledge of their future selves. And don't forget how much of a difference a better ring makes. Tsuna kicked Byakuran's ass just because he got a better ring. Although I'd still find it kind of silly if the Varia were stronger than their future selves.
