The matching up is something we'd have to figure out. There's three ways I think we can go about it. 1) Just let people match up and join. 2) After people get their three nominations they pick their partner in it. 3) After people get the nominations randomize the pairings to get random teams. I think we can let people get a team name. That's a pretty cool idea. Since it's pairing based and not individuals if one person in a pair is well liked yet the other is extremely hated then the well liked person can be brought down and lose too. P.S. When there's one pair remaining we can half a "Better Half" round to see which of the two is better.
Lt. Colonel Remo
I thinks it better to randomly pair the ones with nominations
Desu the Blue Nerd
Agreed. Otherwise we may get some massively OP'd pairing like Black and Cherry.
DLÂ
My ideas were 3v3 People enter in teams of 3 And decide their most popular, least popular, and in-between And we make 3 seperate polls for each pairing (3v3 = 1v1 + 1v1 + 1v1) And the teams who get 2 out of 3 victories wins and moved on to the next round AND There's no nominations: people can sign up for it. If they're not popular, they'll be eliminated quickly PLUS It'll eliminate the need for people like Pichu (nominated to troll) or Dane (nominated against his will) from being there. We can actually make it so that people join, without groups Then first round 3v3 We randomize them into teams, then randomize the team matchups Then next round, 2v2 We randomize again And the 3rd round will be 1v1 How's that? And it's only 3 rounds, but it eliminates a lot of people per round (for the first two), so it works.

Only question is, how many teams can there be put in the tourney?
DLÂ
We can figurethat out Like if 60, there'll be 20 teams of 3 30 will be left, for teams of 2 15 will be left for 1v1 One match will just have to be 1v1v1 Or we can find a multiple of 2 and 3 that can lead to an even number at the end. Fusion X. Denver
That's a lot of people... YMB2 and YMB3 took a while to get nominees and both ended up with 32 contestants. Maybe you could do another regular tourney with people signing up for it.

Fusion X. Denver
...RIGHT, I was thinking of 32 matches and got them confused. Then go with 60. Because we usually have a separate match to determine 3rd place, you can take care of that with a 3-way finale.
Lt. Colonel Remo
So...is it randomized or do you choose teams? And are we following the traditional nomination or do we do Finales version of simply signing up?
