She flew inbetween the shadows of the Strange city. Her dark and transparent skin letting her blend in. Now, where is that base! She thought to herself. They had narrowed it down to this City, now all that was left to find it. The darkness of night was no problem for Titress, the only problem was not knowing where the base was. She continued down the winding street, looking for anything suspicious, when she past a familiar place. Looking behind her, there stood the dojo she used to train at. This infuriated her, but she quickly regained her cool, but she stopped for the night. With all the anger from that place, continuing to search would only get her caught. Pulling out a small device, she called on her other leaders."Darkcloud, Anandra, I am returning." With a final look down the street, she floated into the air, and in the direction of the Dark Wasteland.

Titress had it so easy. She was a small, black, easily camouflaged, pokemon. Anandra was a 20 foot long eel. White. She had to be extra careful at times like these.

Giving one last look through multiple abandoned buildings, she followed Titress into the darkness.
Once well out of view, she inhaled, and when she exhaled, a jet of water came out. The water turned into a small stream, which then turned into a wave. Riding on it, she smiled inside. She was a dark pokemon, but times like these made her love her natural element: Water.

Quickly catching up with Titress, Anandra stopped surfing, and posed a question that had been on her mind for a while,
"How is Gol doing with his training? You never tell anyone about his progress."

***

Watching the Milotic slither towards the base like that was a nightmare. It was one thing to see a black Frostlass, but to see that Milotic, with the small, dark, aura come put of the shadows, apparently looking for something...
Felicity shuddered

It was times like these where she remembered her parents' death. The disappearance of her father before she was born, the utter massacre of her her mother. Events that gave Felicity a reason to hate the Dark Legion.

It was that night that Felicity made a pact to herself. She would become a leader of Trump Card, and personally slay every single Dark Legion leader involved with that fort's siege and subsequent defeat.

It was another day in Strange City, yet to Poisoncutter, it was as critical as any other. As a member of the Trump Cards, she had an unavoiable duty to caring for the children of the city. She genuinely shuddered to think what the Dark Legion were doing with them ... if anything, the Dark Legions were one of the few things that sent genuine shudders down her spine. She was unafraid of most things, and she was always conceiting herself to be a veteran of fights. Then again, she was fighting since the age of ten, and had only been forced to stop when she was twenty; it was hard to believe that six years had come and passed without her laying her claws on another Seviper. Or another Pokemon, for that matter - only trees had suffered under her claws, regardless of whether they were real or metal.

The Zangoose strolled into the city, and as usual, ignored the funny looks other Pokemon gave her. She was expecting it after all - loosing your original and having a replacement was never an easy thing. But right now, Poisoncutter was looking for the Trump Card headquarters. She knew it was in Strange City, she knew exactly where it was, but it was making sure that nobody followed her, which was tricky.

Darkcloud was high up on a skyscrapper, he was fully hidden in the darkness as his glaring eyes were only seen. He was far to high to find the Trump Card base, there was little hope of Darkcloud finding it, so like what Titress and Anandra possibly did, he had left towards for the Dark Wasteland. As he had vanished in the shadows and left, he slowly descended off the skyscrapper and onto the ground, he had knew it would take him a while to get out of the Stange City but he didn't care since no Pokemon could see him. He had shortly exitted the Strange City. He had then contacted the others with the devices,"Titress, Anandra, I've left Strange City, I haven't found any information on the Trump Card Base as predicted, I'll be at the Dark Wasteland soon,"

Gol was sitting on the highest tower of the dark castle. It was a peaceful night there was a slight brease blowing and the moon was bright. He wondered when the leaders would be back they had been gone for a few days and he was starting to wonder where they were. The thought they might be in trouble was unlikely and titress had strictly banned leaving the castle but he had to be sure. Jumping off the castle he began to make his way across the dark wasteland and towards the canvas plains. I should be at the city by tomorrow night forgive me titress

Titress was frustrated. Yet again, the Trump Card had eluded their capture. To think that they had somehow eluded the capture of the Legion, The Leaders at that! And that damn dojo! After steaming off, she then realized Anandra had asked her a question. "Ah, Gol's doing fine. He will make a fine leader once he is taught self-control. The problem is, bringing him into battle right now would be dangerous. He would be captured in the state he's in. Anyways, have you found anything yet? The more children we capture, the more chaos we can cause." She glanced behind her one more time.

Techno had known that the Legion were going to come. He has the same feeling when Titress comes as that Weavile many years ago. Techno trusted Poison cutter to lead the children to the Cave of Whispers in Trump Card's Head Quarters. Techno knew she would make a fine leader of Trump Card some day. Though, every day when Poison cutter reported the children were safe, Techno, didn't feel right. He didn't know what that telekinetic ability meant, was it of courage, was it of guilt, or the worst: a sense of murning. When Techno was very young still, his mother told Techno a legend that if you mourn, the sorrow builds and builds and builds, until it engulfs you and you turn to the legion. Though, ever since he lost his memory of child hood except for legends and that weavile, whenever he sences Titress coming, he feels, he knows her, like from years ago, and almost every other day, he has a clear image of a dojo.

He couldn't let that feeling get to him. He knows she is the enemy, and wants to destroy us all. Sometimes, he imagines Titress turning to a Normal or Psychic type and joining Trump Card, but he knew that would never happen.

One day, Techno senses a pure soul outside of the HQ. He sends a trusted member of Trump Card to find out who it was, and Techno was in shock. "Felicity? Is that you?"

Anandra winced as she imagined Gol's last outrage. He did need some restraining sometimes. Fortunatly, Titress was pretty good at restraining Gol, as well as teaching. He would make it.

Then she answered Titress' question, "No children. It's possible, though, that Trump Card relocated all the children to their base. It is essentially their city."

"We can already spend this to our advantage, though. Trump Card is enforcing what is essentially martial law right now. The less we hold back, the less restrictive Trump Card is, potentially letting kids back to their homes." And with that, Anandra fell silent. She knew Titress enough to expect a reply, a reply that would require silence from the listeners.

***

Felicity floated in the room, shivering. "Poisoncutter overlooked me. I was in my room last night." She flashed back to late that night. The Milotic came without a sound, looked at what amounted to be straight at her, and disappearing.

"I don't know who to turn to anymore. Everyone seems to either hate me or not notice me nowadays."

Then she looked at the growing crack in her egg. How was she going to evolve if nobody loved her?

Titress smiled. Anandra was always a good person to turn to for military advice. "Genius. Then we will return to base until that time happens. Darkcloud already left, so let us get back to the castle. Hopefully, Gol isn't slacking off guard duty. Those kids can definately cause a riot." She floated down the street, beckoning to Anandra to follow her. Her mood had returned to her normal icy state. Floating away she pulled out the device again. "Darkcloud, return as quickly as possible, we have some planning to do." With a final look back, she shot of in the direction of the Wasteland.

Gol was running through the outskirts of the strange city when he heard two pokemon coming. He hid behind a trash can when they passed. A frostlass and milotic. "Oh no its titress and anandra looks like they're heading back to the wastland". Gol continued following them until he couldn't keep up with them anymore. "If only i was evolved then i would have no trouble following them titress will be furious when she finds out i left the castle". Then out of the corner of his eye he saw something that he felt was an uncontrolable anger. He ran through the tall grass until he came to a clearing at this point he was absolutly consumed with rage. He looked through the grass then wished he didn't. "No it can't be" but it was he could tell by the explosive anger that it was his family.

"Ok, Titress, I've just reached the Canvas Plains, I should be at the Wastelands soon,"Darkcloud replied on the devices as had looked around the plains,"How boring,"he had signed as he had skimmed through as much as he can see of the Canvas Plains, there wasn't much interesting about it, except just one tree. After that, Darkcloud then had decided to hover quickly towards the Dark Wastelands.

After 2 hours of hovering, Darkcloud had reached the Dark Wasteland, since he had joined the Dark Legion, he had realized how enjoyable it was. As he had stopped, he had decided to look around the Dark Wasteland before going into the Dark Castle, he had to just incase. The first milisecond he then decided not, he needed to follow orders and return to the Dark Castle, so he had jumped up and rushed towards the Dark Castle.

Titress then heard a familiar voice behind her and sighed. Of course Gol wasn't following orders. It was just so like him. As she turned around, she realized what a mess he was getting into. "Not now Gol! You still aren't strong enough!" She shouted to him. Being at a strong disadvantage to the Blaziken, there is no way she could directly intervene without being seriously injured. So with quick thinking, she got out of range of the battle, and called out for an Ominous Wind to blow him directly in her direction. Then she would give him a very long lecture when he got back to headquarters.

Gol was still enraged and had no control over his body. He tried to recover in mid air but fell and hit his head on a rock. Gol slowly lost concienceness and woke up in his training grounds. "what happened" Gol said unable to see clearly. The last thing he remembered was following Titress and Anandra and now he's here. "ah well" Gol shrugged might as well train since i'm here. He walked into a circle of punching bags and started charging a dark pulse. At full power he released it but hit only two of six bags. "I'm still dizzy I think I should wait a bit before starting training again". He walked over to a wall sat down and soon fell asleep.

Techno was on his daily routine, strolling through the city, getting reports from all who watched over the children, and he bumped into an unfamiiar pokemon. "Who are you?" asked Techo. The pokemon didn't answer. A circle of people were starting to form. "State your name and business or begone".

"My name is Siffit. I am here to give info on the enemies," the pokemon replied. With his telekinetic abilities, Techno knew Siffit was not a Dark Legion member. "What is this news you have?" asked Techno. "The Dark Legion have a secret weapon. A Combusken named Gol. He has powers almost as strong as the leader, and the leader has had decades of training. Gol has been in the Dark Legion for two years," answered Siffit mournfully. Every child in the circle shivered and some almost started to cry. "Do not worry Siffit," replied Techno with a grin," we have a secret weapon of our own!" Techno stared down at the small, grey togepi: Felicity.

Anandra was the one who had to carry Gol. Fortunately, he was unconscious during that remaining period between the Strange City and HQ. He would probably still be fighting and arguing if not for him falling unconscious on that rock.

Looking at an unconscious Gol, a thought entered her mind, "He will never be a leader. Not the path he's taking."

With that, she left Gol's little training area and moved to more important things. Like how to get to Trump Card's HQ without reinforcing the martial law status that was already on the city.

Darkcloud was in his room, it was quite high up the giant castle, he had done nothing since he had traveled back to the headquarter. Darkcloud's room was enshrouded with darkness, his bright eyes glow in the darkness allowing him to see through it. It was a reasonable size for a leader of the Dark Legion, it had an avarage size bed, with a chair beside it.

Where, could the Trump Card HQ be ? Why is it such a secret ? That is unfair, since ours is in plain sight and the Trumps have to hide theirs., Darkcloud had thought, as he was sitting on a chair, he had knew he was searching in an terrible place. Darkcloud had felt puzzled and enraged in this mystery, he had gotten up and had decided to walk around the Dark Castle and discuss about the mission with the others.

As Gol trained, Titress floated in the doorway, waiting for a proper time. When he finally fell asleep she floated over and smacked him. "You idiot! I gave you one simple task and you BLEW IT!!" She turned around and hovered over to a punching bag and blasted it with a fierce Ice Beam, knocking it into a wall and causing it to shatter into a million pieces."If you can't even follow simple orders like this, you'll never be a leader! Not to mention your anger issues." Like a shadow, she started to loom over him."So, as punishment, you are staying in this castle for all of this week. No questions asked." She then jumped up and landed in the circle of bags Gol was once standing and unleashed a Dark Pulse that ripped the bags to shreds. "Now, go do what you're supposed to be doing in the first place." She ordered calmly, then floated out of the room.

"Titress just blew a gasket"! Gol said. "Now i'm stuck here for a week and now i've got to get the training grounds fixed". Gol walked to the other side of the castle and got tools to fix the walls and the punching bags. When he was done he resumed his training. About ten minutes into his training he remembered that Titress told him to go watch the children. He quickly ran to the wing of the castle where the children lived and to his surprise they were behaving infact they were training! "Is this for real"? Gol asked himself. He heard someone walking down the hall and when he looked it was Anandra. "Hey Anandra" Gol Waved.

Anandra glanced at Gol and nodded. It was the best she could do without arms, and without making it look like he was off the hook. He wasn't. Titress didn't like it because it was against orders. Anandra didn't like it because it was the next in a long list of errors by him.

Continuing on her way, she met Darkcloud, who wanted to discuss Trump Card, something she would gladly do at the moment. She needed a little venting time anyways.

Felicity had wandered back to her room. Nobody seemed to care about her well-being, and she had just heard her leader, Techno, regard her as a secret weapon. Why in the world was she still here?
Nobody liked her here,
She couldn't go to the streets without being found,
And there was no way she was ever going to the Dark Legion.

It was hopeless.

Everyone was shocked when Techno said Felicity was our secret weapon, except for Felicity herself. Techno knew her parents, and her mom was a very powerful Togekiss, so Felicity had inherited her mother and father's power, so if trained and evolved, she would be as powerful as Techno with his psychic abilities. It was a tragedy her mother was killed when she hatched. Techno knew felicity doubted herself, and why she was the secret weapon.

"Felicity, I was a close friend of your mother's. She was almost as powerful as me." Then, Techno noticed a crack in Felicities shell. Techno knew the time was coming that Felicity will need to train. But she needed someone to love her. "Felicity, I know you're about to evolve, but you need someone to love you. I have loved you like my own since I knew about you." And Felicity's crack spred even more.

"Hello Anandra,"Darkcloud had greeted Anandra, as he had saw her when wondering around the Dark Castle,"I had searched up high on a skyscrapper during the mission at Strange City, and I had found nothing."Darkcloud had explained to Anandra as he had paused, he had forgotten what happened afterwards. He had continued to stop, until he had slightly remembered,"I had encountered no problems during the travel back to headquarters...So did you find or see anything happen at Strange City ?"Darkcloud had questioned as he was waiting for Anandra's reply.

As Titress glided down the halls, she was still thinking of ways to find the base.We could... No that won't work.. She passed several members in the hallways and the turned in to the youth hallway. All the captured children were kept in this safe environment to stay out of harms way. After all, it was a child that saved her that other day, now almost ages ago. All the younger ones were supervised at all time, while the older teenagers had to be controlled. They were smarter than the younger ones, thinking we were trying to kidnap them for devious reasons.. Whereas the ones in the middle age group weren't as rebellious as the teens, and didn't need that much supervision, so they were in the middle of that. Some of them even decided to join the cause of the Legion.

She turned a corner once again and came to the other two Leaders of the Legion. "Darkcloud, Anandra, follow me. We need to plan another raid. Just because we can't attack the Strange City doesn't mean we can slack off on our duties. Some of the islands in the Miraculous Ocean have evaded our capture. If you're not busy, please follow me to the Boardroom on the Second floor." With one last glance behind her, she saw Gol, and chose to ignore him. He wasn't going anywhere. Quickly turning around, she went quickly towards the second floor.

Anandra had barely enough time to reply to Darkcloud that she had no insanely difficult problems on the Strange City raid, when Titress came. She naturally followed her. It was a chance to get back at her father. A chance to make things right from her point of view.

While following her, she flashed back to when her mother left.
It had happened all so suddenly. She was there, nurturing the young Feebas, calling her special. Loving her. Then, she was called away by her father, who sounded so nice when he said, "Can we talk?" They retreated into a cave, two Milotics looking very sweet together. Only one came out. Her father, claiming that a sharpedo had attacked her, and he barely managed to escap-

"Idiot!" The shout became involuntarily audible, as Anandra addressed her own stupidity. It was a horrible alibi, and she was obviously very young, but she should have seen through the miserable excuse for murder.

***

"Great. One person. Try getting a kid. One child, a resident of Trump Card, to say that just like you did. I almost guarantee that it's impossible." It was nice that she knew somebody loved her, but one was never enough. Not in stories, not in songs, nowhere. One person, no matter who it was, or how powerful they were, they just never supplied enough love to complete the evolution.

The jet of water spiralled through the air, narrowly missing its target. "Not again!" Growled Sera. "I always miss!"
Sera knew, as some did not, that it was esential to train, just to make sure they had some chance of defending the Miraculous Ocean.
It was, however, rather tedious preparing for a possible invasion. "Train, train, train. All we do is train. If only something would Happen!" Sera rumbled. "Oh well, maybe something different for a change." She faced the target yet again. "This time, maybe I should give Whirlpool a shot." She leapt foward, and the spiral of water completely engulfed the target. "Yes!" She shrieked in pleasure. "And soon." She thought. "The Dark Legion will come. I know. But we'll be ready for them. The Miraculous Ocean will stay safe."

"Ok then, but which of those small islands then ?"Darkcloud had questioned, he had followed behind both Titress and Anandra. As he had walked up the stairs he had thought through about the Miraculous Ocean. Now why would they dare to fight back, they should know that they have a smaller population compared to us and we could easily squash them with power. Darkcloud had then remembered that he had once traveled to one of the islands in the Miraculous Ocean, but he didn't know what he had seen, why he had came there and how. The only disadvantage, is that they can easily escape from underwater, but then Anandra could capture them. However, could this mission be a distraction, like when we reach the island, something happens back at the Dark Wasteland...Nope, can't happen. Those on the island won't even expect us comming, well if we get a battle strategy from Titress.
