"So ah'll be taking things up from 'ere," Don added, "ah draw." [i]Ah canne do much fer the moment,[/i] he thought, looking at his cards, before turning back to the field. [i]He miscalculated thar', since both o' mah monsters are weaker than Sirroco, but ah feel it's time to build up mah resources.[/i] "For noo, ah'll have Crusader of Endymion attack yer Evil Hero Reviver," he called, the armoured spellcaster leaping forwards before releasing a blast of magical energy.

"Ah'll place a card face-down and end mah turn," he finished.

Carly teared up, and started to break down. She curled up into a ball, sobbing as she dismissed her serpent mark and her cards.

Jenny's sensors started working again, and she found the source of the huon energy. She grabbed a bungee jumping cord, a harness, and lowered the ramp so she could jump out.

Aki approached Carly, and offered her a hand up, which Carly accepted. The two of them hugged, until Aki felt something sharp go into her chest.
[color=#FF0000]"Well, at least you'll die either way!"[/color]
Carly threw Aki off of the bridge, and started to make a run for it, leaving Rayos with a choice.

[color=orange]Rayos grabbed Aki with his Duel Claw and pulled her up before she fell over, letting Cici run away without a moment's hesitation, "Aki, stay with me." He said, laying his beloved down on the floor and looking at the stab wound. He pulled the knife out and ripped a strip off of Aki's top to press down on the wound, "Don't die on me," He told her, "Please, I don't want you to have to find out what the afterlife is just yet." He choked up and closed his eyes, the fire on his arm going out.[/color]

[color=navy]Ccapac just shrugged as his monsters were destroyed, "Well then, brother, it's your turn." He told Drake, chuckling, "Go on, destroy me." He taunted, a wicked gleam in his eye.[/color]

[color=red]"Dark Blade, Van'Dalgyon, do as he commands." Drake said, "Destroy him." The Dragon Knight let out a fierce battle cry as he sliced through Ccapac's face down card, an amorphous blob with Dark Signer markings, and Van'Dalgyon blasted the Immortal in the face, "I'll end my turn with a face-down Monster."[/color]

[color=navy]Ccapac drew his card and chuckled, "I'll end my turn." He told them as a dark shadow appeared in front of him, "You're up, James."[/color]

"My go, draw! I play Terraforming, allowing me to search my deck for a field spell, which is gonna be, you guessed it, Future Visions. I activate it right now!" The area was once again filled with darkness, only a few floating mirrors could be seen. "Now I play my face-down, Call of the Haunted! Now, Asilla Piscu, rise again!" A black bird appeared with orange marks that instantly became green. "Now, Asilla Piscu, I think the Signer is in for some damage, attack him directly!" The bird breather purple and green flames, engulfing the signer. "And Sirrocco, attack his Crusader." the bird flew towards the creature, slicing it in half. "I end my turn."

"No' this turn, laddie," Don cried, "ah activate mah face-doon card, Kunai with Chain." This let's me put yer immortal in Defence, cutting it's attack short." A blade attached to a chain appeared in the armoured figure's hand, who then swung it upwards and pulled the immense bird down, preventing it's beak striking the signer. "And as a bonus, I can equip it te mah Crusader, given 'im 500 more points, so yeh might wanna think again if yer' gonna attack with Sirroco."
[i]With tha' Immortal back, I guess ah'll have to rely on yea teh bring oot tha' card, Lassie. It's oor best way round that immortal and the field spell.[/i]

"Fine, but now your good as dead next turn buddy! And you can't gemini summon since thats treated as a normal summon, forcing future visions to remove it from play, and when it returns, it's back to a normal monster. You're doomed now."

Jack ran down to the ramp, watching as Jenny fell. "What is she doing? And a better question, does this thing have auto piolet?" Jack didn't think about it too long since the pain in his arm continued to pulse through his arm. "W...why is this happening?" He continued to hold his mark, gripping tighter and tighter as the pain became worse.

[i]He's right aboot that,[/i] Don thought, [i]Tha' field spell is a counter to mah entire deck. Unless I do something ah may be in trouble.[/i] "Mah turn then, and ah'll draw." [i]The lassie has the card we need, but ah dinna think she has the monsters to get it oot, and unless she's got the right card face-doon, I'd be wastin' mah time. For the moment then...[/i]
"Ah activate Future Fusion, which allows me to send Tuned Magician and Gemini Lancer from mah deck to mah graveyard. Now in two turns my Superalloy Beast Raptinus will come to my field." [i]Now, time to bait out some of those cards.[/i] "Crusader of Endymion, attack tha' other dark signer directly." Now armed, the figure swung his chained weapon towards the figure.

Aki weakly reached her hand up to feel Rayos before finally encountering his ectoplasm, and smiling. [color=#FF1493]"Promise me that you will make sure Carly sees Jack again. She may be evil, but all she wants is to see him again, much like I wanted you to be alive again."[/color] Aki closed her eyes, and her breathing gets shallower and shallower as her heart slows down.

Jenny decides to intervene, and bungee-jumps off of the ship, grabbing Aki and Rayos' Duel Claw at the bottom of her jump, then rushing back up into the ship with both in tow. The ship was now being fired upon by the Cici and the Shadow Drones below, but had its shields up.
Jenny made sure Aki was more or less stable before sh ran to the cockpit, made a few adjustments, and fired the ship up into near-earth orbit, where they would be safe.

((Sorry for the quick anti-climax but I'm kinda getting sick of this Duel, it's been going on for too long. Please, don't counter this.))

[color=navy]As Drake drew, Ccapac triggered his face-down, Earthbound Despair, "Sorry about this, James, but we have a little trouble back at the home front. I'm going to have to leave these three to you, though I'll at least beat down the harpy a little and make your life easier." He told the Hummingbird Marked Dark Signer, "Despair allows me to discard one Earthbound Immortal in my hand and have both players, in this case me and you, Jasmine, take damage equal to his ATK." Ccapac closed his eyes as his true self sprouted from the ground and slammed one fist down to him, destroying his and sending his consciousness back into Rahl, while the other fist hit Drake head on and knocked him into the air.[/color]

[color=red]"I activate Heart of the Dragon." He said after he hit the ground, "By Releasing one Dragon-type Monster on my side of the field, I can change one of the targets of one Trap Card that deals effect Damage to another player. In this case, from Jasmine to myself." Drake's Life Points hit 0 and he passed out.[/color]

[color=orange]"We'll help her together." He told Aki, his voice becoming distant as she faded away before they were rescued by a mysterious blonde. Rayos stuttered and tried to find the right question to ask, or the right thing to say before finally settling on two words. The ghost looked Jenny in the eye, unaware if she could even see him without Aki making him solid, and closed his eyes, "Help her."[/color]

Jenny drew some sort of strange gun-like device with a clear vial in it out of a drawer near the medical table Aki was on, and she placed it against Aki's arm, pulling the trigger and drawing blood. "Yes, I can see you." Jenny told Rayos, but she was busy placing the vial into a machine with a transparent chamber that was full of an amber substance. She punched a few buttons, and a blob started to form in the goo. Eventually, the blob took shape, and within a minute, a fully-grown heart was inside the goo. Jenny pulled the transparent chamber out like a drawer, reached in and grabbed the heart, and placed it near Aki.
"This is a flash-cloned heart." Jenny explained as she started surgery on Aki's heart. "It can be formed from these basic building blocks of proteins and other nutrients within minutes, as long as there's a DNA sample to use. Unfortunately, a flash-cloned human is impossible to make, and the clone only lasts a few years at best due to more rapid cellular decay, but Aki will only have the heart in for a few hours while her actual heart regenerates in a similar tank. Unlike a flash-clone, her heart needs to be carefully rebuilt." She finally extracted Aki's heart, and replaced it with the flash-cloned heart. Her real heart was placed in another tank, this one with green goo, and Jenny pressed a few buttons, starting the regeneration.
"The great thing about a flash-clone is that the heart is her original heart, so it's virtually impossible for it not to take." Jenny finishes, both in explanation and in surgery. "Don't worry. You're friend is going to be fine. She'll regain consciousness in about...10 or 15 minutes." She now turned to Rayos. "Now, tell me what you and the redhead were doing in that hole, and why your floating metal bracer is emitting so much huon energy."

[color=orange]"I have no idea what in the holy Hell huon energy is , so I'm just gonna skip that last part entirely." Rayos said, brushing Aki's hair out of her face and kissing her forehead, "As for what we're doing, well, you probably wouldn't believe me if I told you." The ghost said with a sigh, "Hell, I barely believe it myself, and I'm an..." He chuckled once, "Well, let's just say that I've lived an... interesting life, to say the least. She can explain everything to you once she wakes up, I'm feeling lightheaded and a little dizzy right now, so would you mind leaving the two of us alone?"[/color]

Jenny nodded. "By the way, we are now in geostationary orbit with the Earth. Whatever your friends back in that hole can do, they can't get almost 40,000 miles up here, or out here, if you want to get technical." She cleaned off her emergency scrubs that she had put on for the operation, and changed into her normal attire. "Now, I will give you some alone time. If you need anything, don't be afraid to ask." She exited the medical bay, and eventually found Jack. "Everything alright?"

Cici was just dumbstruck as to what had just occurred. A woman came out of the blue, stole her prey, and took them on a spaceship! A f**king spaceship!!! She had no idea how she was supposed to react to this. Or what to tell her boss.

[color=orange]"You'd be surprised by what a demon can do." He whispered as Jenny left before retreating into Aki's mind, to the small corner where her conscious mind slept. He once again morphed the small bedroom that Aki's soul was sleeping in into the grandiose mansion that he envisioned for her and laid down next to his goddess, pulling her in close to him, gently, so as not to stir her. He could wait, he decided, until she started to dream and they could be together again. He wrapped one of his arms around his lover's waist and placed the other on top of her heart, reassuring himself that there was no knife wound there before closing his eyes and listening to her heartbeat "I love you." He whispered into the depths of her soul, "I will always love you."[/color]

[color=navy]Rahl sighed and looked around, "So, we had an ex-Signer here, my brother, a current Signer that you told me was dead, and you let them both get away?" He asked, "You should have detonated the bridge, killed yourself along with her. We could use someone less... pathetic to hold Red Nova."[/color]

Cici counters. [color=#FF0000]"It doesn't matter. I stabbed Aki in the heart, and that ship didn't look too big, or at least big enough to have any sort of first-aid. I bet the three of them are cramped inside that dinky little craft! Aki should be dead by now, though it may take some time to find her soul. We should consider whether to revive her as a Dark Signer."[/color] However, Cici was distracted by Rayos and Aki's promise to help her reunite with Jack, and was secretly ecstatic! She was having a difficult time keeping in her glee, but Rahl didn't suspect anything. She honestly hoped that there was a chance for her to be forgiven for all of her sins.

[color=navy]Rahl smirked as a knife appeared in his hand, "You stabbed her in the heart so she's definitely dead?" He asked, thrusting the blade through Cici's right atrium. "Then, by that logic, you should be dead too." He twisted the knife as he ripped it out of Cici and struck her on the cheek with the flat of the blade, "Unless you can show me her corpse, never assume that she's dead." The hybrid shoved the knife through Cici's lower jaw and pierced the roof of her mouth so she couldn't speak as he calmly walked away.[/color]

Jasmine ran over to Drake. "Why! I could have made it, I had more life points!" She turned to James. "Make your move, now!"

"As you wish. Seems like you want to lose like your friend there. Draw! Asilla Piscu, Attack ther girls life points directly! Do what Rahl failed to do." The bird shot purple and green flames from it's mouth, hitting Jasmine. "Now I end my turn with a face-down card. Make your move."

"Fine, draw! I summon Harpie Lady 1. With her effect I increase the attack of all wind monsters by 300, which may not seem like a lot, but it is enough. But it will have to wait for next turn." The Harpie Lady disappeared. "Cyber harpie, attack Sirrocco the Dawn." She sliced through the bird. "And I end my turn at that."

Jack looked to Jenny. "Besides the pain in my arm, yeah, I'm fine." The pain continued to pulse through his arm. "Have any idea what this is?" He let go of his arm and a blue light resenating from his arm filled the area with a blue light. "Didn't think it was that bright, but I have been clenching ti since the pain started up."

[i]This duel has ta end quickly, or the laddie could be in trouble.[/i] "Mah turn," he added, drawing another card. [i]Thar ya are.[/i] "Noo, Ah'll summon Dark Valkyria to the field, although she'll have ta wait a turn to arrive there 'cause o' yer field spell." [i]There really isn't much I can do fer the moment, but soon things'll be in place.[/i] "That'll do fer the moment. Lassie, if ye gonna try and reach yer friend, yer gonna have ta do it soon." Dark Valkyria appeared alongside him.

[i]"You could just let her do it at her speed."[/i]

[i]"Ah canne wait all night fer her, an' I'd rather warn her I'm gettin' ready for mah move."[/i]

"No, not just her, you're both in trouble! Draw! I will just attack you, Signer, with Asilla Piscu. Go!" The bird shot Purple and Green flames from it's beak. "I will leave you with that."

"My turn, Draw!" Harpie 1 jumped out of the mirror and landed right beside Jasmine. "Now, I will just end my turn."

"It's not just the end of the turn, it's the end of the duel! Go, Mystical Space Typhoon! With this, I destroy my Call of the Haunted, also destroying Asilla Piscu. When Piscu is destroyed, it takes your monsters down with it and deals damage to you equal to the number for cards it destroys times 800." A tornado roared from the graveyard under Asilla Piscu's feet, destroying it and the bird. The bird released a small shock-wave as it disappeared, aimed at Jasmine's and Don's monsters, raising a cloud of smoke as it drew near. "Mwhahaha! Game over."

"I don't think so, I play Starlight Road! When two or more cards would be destroyed, I can activate this card and negate the destruction, as well as bring out an old friend of yours. Come out, Stardust Dragon!" A dragon could eb seen down a road of light roaring causing the shockwave to disappear. "Remember this James?"

James' head started to hurt. He clenched it, memories of his time living pouring into his head quickly, some of his summoning Stardust Dragon and evolutions of Stardust, some of him in the spirit world, and all his other memories. Whe finally opened his eyes, vision fuzzy, he had an evil grin on his face. "Go ahead, finish me off, drag me back to death! DO IT!" He knew how Jasmine and Don had seen him as a friend, thinking as long as they thought he would die if he loss, they would not defeat him.

"Death is a fitting release for those like us, Boss." A voice said from a nearby, concealed by a shadow, "Kings and demons, we all find the salvation we deserve in the end." The burnt out streetlight above the mysterious speaker flickered once and Jasmine, James, and Don were treated to a glimpse of a pair of frozen eyes before the light died once more, "Jasmine, do what you must. He'll find the peace he deserves, in Hell." The light flickered once more, and, when it finally turned back on, the figure was gone.

"Ah draw," Don declared, "and first ah get Dark Valkyria to mah field, but more than tha', it's been two turns since ah activated Future Fusion, which means Superalloy Beast Raptinus noo arrives as well." A large Dragon, seemingly composed of several very different creatures, joined the two other monsters on Don's field (ATK 2200). "Yer right James, with future visions I canne Gemini Summon mah monsters, but with Superalloy Beast Raptinus I dinne have to, because it's ability grants every Gemini Monster on the field their effects, no Normal Summon needed. So, let's get down to those effects. First, Dark Valkyria. When she gains her effect, she also gets a spell counter, letting her gain 300 more points. Now, Crusader's ability. By placing a spell counter on a monster that can have them, he gains 600 points until the end of the turn, and by placing it on Dark Valkyria she'll gain another 300. Ye dinna have a thing to defend yerself with. [i]But ah canne attack. Ah have a feelin' it has ta be Stardust that delivers the final blow, and I dinna think the lassie'd forgive me if I did attack.[/i] "Ah'll place a card face-down and end mah turn, which returns Crusader's attack to it's previous level."

"I draw!" He looked at his card. "Jasmine, go ahead finish me off, I can fool the card of death. This time I was unprepared, but next time, don't excpect a victory. Excpect worse than what happened to him." He pointed to Drake. "I end."

"Fine, this time I'll do as you please, but I will get you back one way or another. Stardust Dragon, attack! Shooting Sonic!" The dragon, tearing up from seeing it's master in his current condition, launched an attack that looked as if a cluster of stars broke down into the dragons attack. "Game over."

James took the cards off his duel disk, and started walking away. "Remember, next time, I will have more power, from the knowledge I gained from this duel." He continued walking, but went to his d-wheel, and drove off, disappearing into a vortex of darkness. "We'll meat again, Signers..." could be heard as if it was an echo. One card remained on the ground where James stood during the duel, Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind, which Jasmine picked up and put in her deck.

Aki finally opened her eyes to find herself on a table. She felt Rayos in her head, and happy to be with him, she sighed, and turned her head...
...to see a heart with a fading stab wound inside of a container full of green goo!
She felt her own chest, and found the bandages across her chest that indicated the surgery, and she panicked, getting off of the table and running out of the room naked. She wandered through the hallways of what appeared to be a ship, and eventually found a room with a view...of the Earth.
[color=#FF1493]"Where am I?"[/color] She wondered.
"The timeship [i]Awful Lot of Running[/i]." A British voice replied behind her.
Aki turned to see a cute woman in her mid-20s with blonde hair tied into a ponytail, radiant brown eyes, a green tank top, tan fatigues, brown gloves, and a pair of welding goggles.
"Hullo! The name's Jenny, your rescuer and surgeon!"
[color=#FF1493]"Where is the ship?"[/color]
"Geostationary orbit above your planet. We're 40,000 miles up, so anything that wants to get you has a LONG way to go!"
[color=#FF1493]"Was...was that my heart...in there?"[/color]
"Yes, but you currently have a cloned replacement until your original heart is healed, which should take a few hours at best."
[color=#FF1493]"...Do you have a shower and a way to remove tattoos?"[/color]
Jenny understood based on Aki's appearance. "Of course." Jenny led Aki to a bathroom, and handed her a clear vial. "Just mix this in with the liquid soap. It contains special nanogenes that will remove the ink from your skin."
Aki bowed as Jenny left. [color=#FF1493]"Thank you for saving us."[/color]
Jenny gave a thumbs-up. "It's my job. And I do it rather well."

[color=red]Drake, meanwhile, groaned in pain as blue Dark Signer tattoos started carving themselves into his flesh, killing him as he transformed. It was only Jasmine's presence that gave him the strength and will to avoid screaming. He couldn't scream. [i]Do your worst, Rayos.[/i] He thought, fighting through the pain. [i]I'm already a monster, it doesn't matter if I die...[/i] he gritted his teeth and clenched his jaw, [i]I'm a soulless, cold blooded killer, you can make yourself right at home here. I'll surrender my soul to you, my body, but spare Jasmine.[/i][/color]

[color=orange]As soon as Aki was alone in the bathroom, Rayos appeared with his arms around her waist, "You're finally going to wash your tattoos off?" He asked her, his lips centimeters away from her ear, "I was starting to warm to the idea of having a tattooed goddess to worship."[/color]

Faze kept on running and running, not stopping. And then she stopped and looked around. She was completely in the middle of nowhere. She didn't know what to do anymore. She was doomed, her fate sealed. And she just collapsed and cried. She had not the power to defeat Rahl. She would never be normal. She then got up, and took out the Dark Synchro and Tuner monster, and tore them into as many pieces as she could, but they just remade themselves. She screamed in complete frustration and then she noticed her surroundings. It was a forest. Completely broke, she set up a fire, and then burned a tree. The tree went on fire, and the fire spread to other trees. She then picked up the two, now whole again, Dark cards, before tearing them up into pieces again before scattering the pieces everywhere, hopeful that a forest fire can destroy them.

Don had to admit he'd hoped that James might find himself, but still, letting himself be defeated, even as a respite, was probably a sign that he at least had some idea of who he really was, which was a start. He watched Jasmine pick up the abandoned card where James had been stood. [i]Somehow I get the feeling ye'll be tha one te reach 'im, lassie,[/i] he thought, before turning and seeing Drake on the floor, seemingly in pain and the marks of a dark signer forming on him. [i]O' course, 'e lost![/i] the Scot thought, rushing over to where he was lying, his birthmark reacting as he approached. "Laddie.." he wasn't really sure what he could say or do, beyond watching.
