Blackwing-Master
Jasmine sat in her room, eyes filling with tears, looking at the last sign of James she had besides his Stardust Dragon. "Wh..."Why... She read the letter to herself again. "After months of helping Security find the missing people, I have a lead, but it's still not much. There have been multiple reports of people disappearing after dueling a man in a robe, color could not be made out. He is often found on the same street. I plan to go there tonight and duel him myself for answers. I should be fine being the head signer of now five generations and saving multiple worlds from destruction, this should be a walk in the park." But Jasmine knew the results of the duel, for she saw the ending herself, James, suffering a blast from a shadowy monster then falling into a multi-coloered pit, leaving nothing behind but his Security duel disk given to him for his help with the case, his Stardust Dragon, and Starlight Road. Jasmine looked outside for a second, trying to hold back more tears, but failed to hold them back and began crying again. James hasn't been seen or heard from in months. Jasmine was sure, if he was ok, he would have tried to contact her, but he didn't. Jack walked out of the junkyard, otherwise called the place he called home. It was around the time the near by pizza shop closed up for the night and had leftover pizzas, still warn from the fire. He normally snuck in a grabbed a few pizzas before anyone noticed he was there, and normally came out with at least enough pizza for that night. He looked to his duel disk made up of a broken hologram projecter that made all his card's look fuzzy, a gear with a calculator wired up as a life point counter, and a piece of sheet metal with cuts to fit his cards in that were hooked up to the broken hologram projecter. He was lucky he had that and a deck. The deck, just seemed to appear as if fate had given him a chance. The cards suited him well, Scraps, but came with better cards then you would suspect from cards called Scraps, including his Scrap Dragon and Scrap Twin Dragon. Premier Alexander Romanov
"Aw, bloody hell!" A female voice cried out of the junkyard as the sound of something striking a piece of metal resonated through the junkyard. A woman in her early-20s with a military-green tank top, khaki-colored fatigues, brown heavy-duty boots, welding gloves, and a pair of black goggles on top of her head clutched her foot as she attempted not to scream and curse from hurting her foot. She had just kicked the engine of a large black and grey craft that faintly resembled the stripped-down bastard offspring of a Klingon Bird of Prey and an SR-71 Blackbird made out of junk and scrap metal. The craft had a spherical cockpit at the front of a long neck section. The cockpit had a cannon battery on one side, and some sort of sensor array on the other. At the end of the tubular neck, which apparently wasn't designed for the pilot to walk through, was the main body of the ship. It had a rectangular body, two pairs of engines on either side, and a pair of stubby wings. The top, which had a fifth engine and a stabilizer, was where the woman was working. On the bottom was a ramp and a pair of cargo doors leading up into the ship. Curiously, the ramp and doors were right next to each other, but on the inside, they looked like they led to different parts of the ship. The woman finally screamed out in agony, cursing in various languages as she did so, then looked around, hoping no one had heard her. The only one who could have was Jack, and he had promised to keep her and her ship secret. She then picked up the strange screwdriver-looking device she had and started repairs again. Blackstone Dresden
Drake paused outside Jasmine's door and knocked a couple times, "Jasmine, can I come in?" He asked, testing to see if the door was locked, "I'm done with your Duel Runner, that thing's faster than Vulcan at this point. Is there anything else that needs to be repaired?" He looked down at the pizza box in his hand and hoped that she opened the door to let him in, What am I gonna do with this pizza? Can't eat it alone, Rayos doesn't really need to eat anymore, Aki is impossible to be around now that Rayos is literally inside her mind, Ilana's still broke up over Tara... And a vegetarian... Blackwing-Master
Jack finally made it to the Pizza place, hidding behind a trash can so not to be seen. After a little while, the door opened. A man with little hair on his head and a thick beard complaining about his job walked out carrying a trash can. Do or die! He snuck out from behind the trashcan and snuck in the door, it closing behind him, locking the man out by the sounds of the banging against the door. Jack ignored this, sneeking towards the kitchen and the smell of pizza. When he looked in, the only person in there had just walked into the other room. Jack tip-toe'd towards the pizza, picking up as many as he could, not noticing the person who had left just before he snuck in there was staring crossly at him. He looked up. "Um... Hi?" He jumped up and bolted towards the door he had entered through, with no sounds of the man struggling to open the door anymore. He pushed it open as ran back to the junkyard, hearing complaints behind him slowly fading away as he got further from the pizza place. Jasmine walked to her room door, opening it a bit, yelling, "Door's unlocked!" then slamming it behind her. She walked back over to the window and looked up, noticing a faintly green glowing shadow right under the moon.
Blackstone Dresden
Next time, I'm bringing something alcoholic. He thought, shaking his head and opening the door, "I come bearing gifts of pizza and chocolate." He said, shutting the door behind him and walking over to Jasmine, "Come on, you haven't eaten anything since I got here. This morning. At dawn. You've gotta be starved by now." He set the pizza box on the head of her bed and opened the lid just enough for Jasmine to see the bubbly cheese and pepperoni, "Come on, talk to me. I'm kind of an expert on disappearing siblings at this point." The Red-Eyes Duelist placed on hand on Jasmine's shoulder, barely hiding the wince that he made when he thought of Mark and Tara again.
Blackwing-Master
She looked to Drake. "Sibling?... You think... we and... well, you know... were siblings?" She decided to ignore that comment for now. "If you wan tot understand SOME of the pain I feel, read this." She handed Drake the letter, her hand shaking. She slowy walked over to the pizza box and picked the smallest piece of the box and took it, nibbling on it a little. "I was there... when he..." She began to cry again. What could have happened? WHAT?! Jack got back to the junkyard and went strait to the workshop. He waled in to see that Jenny was at work on her project again. "Hey, take a break. I got warn pizza, or at least it was warm when I got it." He set it on the nearest work bench and sat down, starting to eat a piece.
Premier Alexander Romanov
Jenny hopped down from her ship, took off her greasy, oil-stained gloves and snatched up a slice. "Mmm! Not as good as Lombardi's in it's opening year, but close. When I get this hunk of junk running again, I am going to repay you for all of the spare parts, scrap metal, supplies, and help you've given me! First stop is New York City, 1905, to the first pizzeria ever created: Lombardi's! Such a wonderful establishment!" She sat down next to Jack, placing her gloves on the table, and took another slice as she looked into his eyes with her own, which seemed to possess the paradoxical combination of youthful energy and ancient wisdom. "Where would you like to go after an original New York-style pizza pie, love? Past? Present? Future? Around Mutter's Spiral, what you Earthlings called the 'Milky Way', or around the world to somewhere you wish you'd been? Or maybe an alternate reality? A world that never was? All up to you." He plucked Jasmine's pizza slice out of her hands and placed it on top of the box and hugged Jasmine, letting her cry into his shoulder, "I do understand." Drake told her, "I may not have been around when Tara lost her mind, but I saw Mark go down fighting her with my own two eyes and I wasn't too far away when Rayos died. Time Psyduck
In the city's turbo dueling arena, Don Buchanan was dueling some guy riding a blue runner. The other duelist had Breaker the Magical Warrior (ATK 1600) whilst Don had one face-down. "Now how I'll attack directly with Breaker," he called, the warrior slicing into the black monowheel, but seeming not to phase the rider (LP: 400). "I'll end my turn with another face-down." Now, should he summon something that could beat my monster, my Mirror Force will take it out, he thought to himself. "You done, Laddie?" Don replied, "Than it's ma turn, Draw!" Perfect. "I'll start wi' ma face-dun card, Birthright. This lets me take a normal monster from ma' grave and summon it, so I'll bring back me Tuned Magician." A spellcaster, wearing white and green, emerged onto the field (ATK 1800). Don looked at the two monsters in his hand. One showed a soldier in red armour, whilst the other showed a female figure with black wings. "It's the same result, so go for it," a female voice, audible only to Don, told him. "Ah know, Lassie," he muttered. "Noo, Ah summon oot Dark Valkyria as well, and noo I'll use me speed spell Gemini Acceleration, lettin' me treat one o' me geminis as an effect monster, and I'll pick me tuned magician, making 'im a tuner monster." That monster proceeded to take up a more aggressive and dynamic pose. "An' noo I'll tune me Level 4 Tuned Magican with me Level 4 Dark Valkyria. When the power within is released, a new force will arise. Synchro Summon! Come forth, symbol of hopes, Black Brutrago!" The mage turned into four green rings, which lined up as the fairy-like creature rose into them, turning her into four points of light. A beam passed through them, before flooding the rings in a blinding light. Out of it came a large black dragon. Don spun his duel runner around to face his opponent. "Noo, I hope ye' wasn'a countin on ye' face-doon to help ye' oot," he said, "'cause Black Brutdrago's effect will destroy it - at the cost o' a gemini from me' hand. I'll send Evocator Chevalier to the grave to let Black Brutdrago take out ye' face-doon. Go, break crusher!" As Don dropped the last card from his hand to the graveyard, his dragon moved in and smashed the face-down mirror force apart with his fist. "What? No way! Now I can't win!" His opponent protested. "Tha's kinda tha point, Laddie," Don reminded him. "Noo, Black Brutdrago, take oot Breaker and the rest of his lifepoints!" The other duelist actually screamed as the dragon's flames enveloped him and his runner, (LP 0) but Don just cruised out of the stadium, not even stopping for a victory lap. He had more important things on his mind. OOC: I apologise for my absolutely awful attempt at a thick Scottish accent. Hopefully you could at least tell what I was going for. Buttercup
ooc: Time Psyduck, I guess we're SCOTTISH ACCENT BUDDIES! "Your impudence annoys McFist!" said Alex McFist as he glared down at the small child. "I'm sorry mister," said the small child. "It's just that your Duel Runner is on top of me, and I'm bleeding to death. Could you please call an ambulance or something? Please?" Alex McFist ignored the child in a hardboiled way. "You're a million years too far away to Duel the McFist, kid. Doon't even try." he said absently. "What?" said the kid faintly. "I only asked if you could stop crushing me before I go into cardiac arrest." "YOU ASK TOO MUCH KID!" said McFist, turning around and eyeing the small child with distaste. "BUT YOUR WISH IS GRANTED!" "Really?" said the small child. "Thank you!" "YES, SMALL CHILD, YOU WILL BE THE FIRST IN THIS CITY TO FACE THE BURNING WRATH OF MCFIST'S POWER DECK!" said McFist, as he drew a hand and readied his Duel Disc. "Now draw!" "I'm love to give you a duel mister," said the small child. "But I can't feel my arms." "A forfeit." said McFist, shaking his head solemnly. "How sad. This schoolyard is not a good place to find duels at all. McFist will have to take his skills elsewhere." With that, Alex stepped onto his Duel Runner and sped off onto the road. I guess I'd better confine my skills to those over ten, he thought absently. How disappointing.
Blackwing-Master
Jasmine looked up to Drake. "I... I guess you're right..." She continued crying, flashes of the day of James' disappearence flashed before her eyes. It's like a curse... She eventually stopped and picked her piece of pizza back up. "Y.. you know what? I've been crying over this evern since that day, non-stop, no breaks, just crying, whe I should be going out there and searching for James myself." She threw her crust, which had been all she left of her slice of pizza, on top of the box and grabbed a security style duel disk and attaching it to her arm. "James' security duel disk... Thanks for the pizza, and the support." She said in a much calmer voice. "You mind bringing my d-wheel here? I'm gonna need it. Jack looked to the machine then back to Jenny. "You know, I don't want to go anywhere. I'm happy were I'm at, even if it is a junkyard, that does stink a bit. But I don't care, I'm happy with the life I have. I might take you up on your offer one day, but not any time soon." He grabbed another piece of pizza.
The True Ace Attorney
Sitting on the edge at the top of the Arcadia Movement building, Maximillion looked down upon the city. "One day ," he thought, "this place will be shrouded with destruction. Though to allow this to happen we must be rid of the Signers. This would normally be of little concern but the powers that be will only rid us of the Signers through Duel Monsters. Why can't we just shoot them or burn them or maim them and be rid of them? Regardless, the search must begin." And with that, Maximillion launched himself from the roof and headed downwards. Partway, as though there were an invisible barrier, his clothes changed in midair. His Dark Signer Robes were replaced with a tshirt and trousers that looked positively generic. Even his face was rid of his marker making him look absolutely normal. As he hit the ground he defied all physics and merely stopped in a crouched position with not a single Mark upon him or the floor beneath. Standing up and walking away, Maximillion began his search for the Signers and where better to start than the Stadium. If anything, he'd find information. Time Psyduck
Don streaked through the city streets. A few people noticed and recognised one of the city's professional duelists riding about in public, and a couple even snapped photos as he passed, but the Scot ignored them all. He wasn't even certain where he was going, he just had a compulsion to go somewhere very quickly. He figured it was probably because moving at speed, weaving between slower moving traffic at a pace that was probably dangerous, seemed to be comfortable to him, and helped him think. Since James disappeared everythin just seems soo...wrong, somehoo, he mused, rolling onto a quieter street, Almost as if tha' group's given up. "Maybe you should do something about it," a winged figure, gliding alongside the runner, suggested, guessing his thoughts. "It's a fair idea, Lassie," he replied, "But I aint the man ta do it. I'm nor' close enough ta the others ta really be able to help 'em. This is somethin' I reckon they need ta deal with themselves. In tha meantime, I guess there's some things I can be doin' ta 'elp." He stopped alongside a man stood in a hood, who quickly passed him a folded piece of paper before almost fleeing. Premier Alexander Romanov
Jenny pouted at Jack's response. "Aw! I wanted to take you all sorts of cool places in the Running! You sure there isn't anywhere in space and time you wouldn't want to go to? Anything in your past you want to correct? Anything in the future you want to find out about?" Deep within the Dark Signer base, a familiar figure slinked through the shadows. She had magenta hair, pale skin, and a pink and black outfit, but her hood was up, obscuring her face and eyes. She turned to something that didn't seem to be there. "According to my calculations, the next surge we can use is in 6 minutes." She whispered. Blackwing-Master
Jack laughed a little. "You know, yes, I have made many mistakes, but none i want to fix. We change the past and screw up the future. Like if I meet myself from then. Either both ME me and past or future me would faint or we would create a time paradox that would destroy our univesre. Of coarse thats just a theory, but could be true. Anyways, if i did alter the past, it would also alter our present, for good or bad, who knowns. All I know is I don't want to leave to fix one problem and come back with twenty-five more that would have never happened if I had not left." He smile and looked to his slice of pizza, thinking about taking another bite, but not deciding that he was going to be talking to her for a bit more. "Yes, I have over thought this." Premier Alexander Romanov
Jenny started crying. "I just wanted to be nice to you! You've done so much for me, and I only wanted to repay you, you ignorant twat! Goodnight!" She grabbed the last of the pizza, picked up her gloves, and stormed out to her ship. She put the pizza down, put on her gloves, and then snapped her fingers, causing the ramp to descend. She picked the pizza back up and went into her ship, leaving the ramp down and leading into the bowels of her very strange ship.
Blackwing-Master
Jack blinked, then opened his mouth to speak, but she was already gone. I don't do this for a reward, like traveling through time, I do it because I want to, and there's not much to do around here anymore except duel, which gets really old when you duel the same people over and over again... He walked out of Jenny's work shop and walked to the top of the tallest pile of trash in the place and sat down, looking up at the moon. He looked over to his arm, the blue dragon head mark on there. I wish I knew what this ment. It seams like a cool design, and I've had it for as long as I can remeber, which isn't too much, but more information would be nice. Maybe te answer is in the past, or maybe even the future, but what i said to Jenny does still come to mind... He pulled his deck out of his home-made duel disk, pulling out his Scrap Dragon. He sighed then looked back up to the moon.

Blackstone Dresden
"It and Vulcan are parked outside." Drake told Jasmine, "I figure I'll join you this time. To see how well my modifications hold up, and offer additional assistance if you happen to need it, of course." He added with a grin, holding the door open for Jasmine after snagging himself a slice of pizza and taking a bite, chewing it once, and swallowing it, "Though, and this is just my stomach talking, I don't think there's any harm in eating the pizza first, then going out to look for James." And besides that, Drake added mentally, I haven't got any time alone with you since Rainbow Neos. Funny how dying can put my thoughts in order. At the thought of the word death, however, he saw Mark's scarred and sunken face and heard Rayos' agonized scream as he was incinerated. His cheerful face sank for a moment, but he quickly recovered and flashed Jasmine another smile before taking a second bite of pizza. "Aki, I'm dead." Rayos reminded her, "I don't want you to have to join me in the afterlife. Mainly because I don't know what's going to happen to me if you die. Will I just fade to nothingness? Will I see what life in the great beyond is like? I don't know, but I don't want to find out if the cost is losing you." The Duel Spirit placed his metal hand on his girlfriend's hip, "Please, Aki. Premier Alexander Romanov
Aki took off her hood, revealing a heavily-tattooed face and pair of black orbs with gold rings inside staring into Rayos' ectoplasmic eyes. "You have no idea how maddening it is! Ever since I've become human, I've wished to touch you with my own hands, to take in your scent, to fall asleep in your arms and wake up to hear your steady heartbeat as I rest against your chest! If I throw you in at the same time as that energy surge, there's a 33.333-repeating-% chance that you will be turned back to normal! There are also similar odds of you becoming a Dark Signer, or simply being sucked into the Underworld to suffer for all of eternity, but that's a 2-in-3 chance of you coming back if I throw you into the portal at just the right moment!" Aki thought for a moment, then realized something. Time Psyduck
Don looked at the note he had been given. The man was one of a few people who, spending quite a bit of time in areas where the dark signers were often active, he had asked to let him know of anything that seemed odd. He didn't want to pressure them, so he didn't force them to, and only asked them to pass him the information on occasion. The not wasn't really much - everything on there the authorities already knew. Still, he folded the paper and put it into his jacket pocket, before rushing off again into the evening. "What are you thinking?" the girl asked. "I was wanderin' if Jasmine was thinkin' a' tryin' to face on o' them dark signers to find out wha' happened to' James," Don admitted. At that moment, the birthmark on his arm lit up, the image of a stylised set of wings glowing in a red light. "Y...yes, I would enjoy a duel." Jack got up from the pile and jumped off it, landing on his feet then turned to Jenny and activated his duel disk. The sounds of gears clanking could be heard from his duel disk as it slowly caming into an on position. "Ladies first." She nodded and ran out to her d-wheel, hooking up the security duel disk and heading off, ignoring the fact that she left Drake back at her house with the pizza.
