Alright, I'm finished:

[spoiler=Card.......]

99600v.jpg

Lore:

Activate only while you control a "Weighted Companion Cube". Each time a "Weighted Companion Cube" you control moves to an adjacent Monster Card Zone, roll a six-sided die. If the result is a 1, 3, or 5, you can Special Summon a "Cubic Clone Token" (Machine-Type/LIGHT/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 1000) to one of your unoccupied Monster Card Zones. A Monster Card Zone with a "Cubic Clone Token" on it is treated as unoccupied. When a "Weighted Companion Cube" moves into a Monster Card Zone with a "Cubic Clone Token" on it, destroy the "Cubic Clone Token" and you can move your "Weighted Companion Cube" one additional time. When a "Cubic Clone Token" you control is destroyed, you can increase the ATK and DEF of a "Weighted Companion Cube" you control by 700. During each of your End Phases, halve the ATK and DEF of a "Weighted Companion Cube" you control. When "Weighted Companion Cube" is destroyed, you can remove this card from play to Special Summon it in face-up Defense Position on your leftmost Monster Card Zone.

Boy, that one was hard...

i haz question:

can your opponent still attack the cube of its on their side of the field?

Hmm... good question. I don't know. Let's just assume: No, they can't (except they have a card that can attack monsters on your own side of the field... does something like that exist?). They could still tribute it though... I guess I have to reword that a bit, just a second :)

Edit: Reworded, it cannot be attacked by your opponents monsters (that's not in the effect, but it should be clear), cannot be tributed for a tribute summoning (that does not include tributing for effects!) or used as a synchro material monster.

my card for the 4th round:

73464.jpg

This card can only be equipped to "Weighted Companion Cube." The Equipped Monster cannot be destroyed. If your opponent activates an effect that would destroy 1 card on your side of the field, you can discard 1 card to negate the card's effect and move the Equipped Monster to an adjacent unoccupied Monster Card Zone.

[spoiler=my card]

245354t.jpg

Lore:

Select 1 monster on the field. From the leftmost Monster Zone on whichever side the selected monster is, label the Zones 1,2,3,4,5. Roll a six-sided die once. If the result is 6, remove from play the selected monster. If the result is 1 - 5, place the selected monster in the corresponding Monster Zone you labeled. If there is already a monster in the corresponding Monster Zone, pay Life Points equal to the monster's Level x 200 and discard a number of cards equal to the result of the die roll, if you do not, remove from play the selected monster.

[spoiler=Nice job breaking it, hero!]

85968x.jpg

When this card is Normal Summoned, label the Monster Card Zones on your side of the field 1-5 from left to right, and roll a six-sided die. If the result is 1-5 and the result is an empty Monster Card Zone, you can Special Summon 1 "Weighted Companion Cube" from your hand in that zone, ignoring summoning conditions. If the result is an occupied Monster Card Zone, or if the result is 6, return this card to your Deck and draw 1 card. When a card with 0 ATK is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, you can Tribute this card to return that card to the field in the same Zone it was when it was removed. Any Effect Damage you take this turn is halved.

Alright, let's get to the results. But let me tell you first that you all accomplished the task quite well. Still, I have to kick out 3 contestants, so only the best 2 can duke it out in the finals. I will add a flavor text before the next and last task, so it could take a little longer before that's up.

Shall we?

Rowling: I like the way you tried to support the cube in an indrect way by keeping the field clean and forcing the Zones to be unoccupied, so that the Cube can use it. Unfortunately, against the great competition, that's not enough. Also destroying 2 of your opponents cards (at best) in one turn without any drawback could be a little too powerful. Again, I like the idea, but if you compare it, it's one of the weaker cards (which doesn't make it bad). You're out.

Serenity: Sorry, that one is pretty unimaginative. Not being able to destroy it may be fine, but that negation effect makes no sense. It's clear that it supports the ideal, but not in a very creative way. You're out.

Zextra: A bit of luck, a nice use of Tokens... that looks like Zextra's card :lol: It's loaded with ideas, though I personally would've named the Tokens otherwise... after the orange Speed-Gel in Portal 2, that would've made it even more authentic. And sadly it cannot really support the cube while it is on your opponent's side and therefor leaves the poor thing on it's own. Other than that, it's a great card, and well worthy of proceeding to the finals. Welcome, you're our first finalist!

And now we have a problem. Lord Smeagles card blew me away. Seriously, I love that card. Imaginative, variable, great artwork, nothing more to say, it's great. But it doesn't fit the requirements, because it said "Create a Spell or Trap Card" :( Without that limitation, I'd easily say that you should go to the finals. But even with that limitation I can't deny that card without hurting myself... so let's just imagine it could also be a Continuous Spell Card, it would work nearly the same way. You're in. And Galadrien... you're in as well. It's a solid card with nice drawbacks (maybe a bit too much, but since it also works on your opponents side of the field, that makes sense), and I really like it as well...

So yeah, I break my word once more and let 3 people proceed to the finals... I'm a stupid judge, aren't I?

You made *nouieanuigre* it. Congratulations. Now you see me. It was me the whole time. I *slg* think you knew that already. And the cake is a *jhuihgwe* of course very moist and delicious. Thank you for coming here. I will now start flooding the entire facility with neurotoxins, so that everybody can see what great of a job you did. It of course *jbhrws* won't kill you, it is just for decoration purposes. You do like the green lighting as well, do you? Please make yourself comfortable and die *uhiwesgf* enjoy your last minutes. An Aperture Science Party Associate will come and bring you the cake. Please have a seat while I configure the neurotoxins.

Well, you heard it, now it's time. This is your target:

126769119871.jpg

GLaDOS

Level 12 / Machine-Type / DARK

0 ATK / 5000 DEF

Lore:

When this card is Summoned, Special Summon 4 "Personality Core Tokens" to your side of the field in Defense Position (Machine-Type/None/Level 1/0 ATK/5000 DEF). Those Tokens cannot be removed from the field except by this card's effect. When this card would be removed from the field, destroy 1 "Personality Core Token" instead. During your End Phase, destroy 1 card your opponent controls.

Now we come to the rules... and those are no pushovers, I can tell you:

- Each Contestant can only create 1(!) card. Your card must be destroyable by card effects (for GLaDOS's last one to work, you should always asssume the worst case scenario which card she picks, but in the end it's up to you).

- You have 3 of your turns (while you start with the Standby Phase of your first one) before GLaDOS takes you all down with the neurotoxins.

- The clue: You can and should work together. That's why I originally only wanted 2 contestants in the finals, it's just easier to manage, but I think with enough time, you can do it. If you should defeat GLaDOS with team work, everybody is granted 2 Reps and 250 Points as a prize (and cake of course)! If you should defeat her on your own (your decision, maybe that's just to complicated for you), the prizes are as stated in the first post.

- You have 1 week from now on to complete the challenge.

That's all. I didn't test it, it's all up to you, but it should be doable. If you come up with a great, inventive and successful way to defeat her together, I'll give out the prize anyways. If it's dull and boring, I'll make a short deciding round to determine who's the winner, but I hope that won't be necessary. If you want to do it on your own, I'll mainly judge by creativity and success rate (if it involves luck).

I'm pretty sure there are questions, things that I didn't think about. If the case happens that someone can proove to me that this is either impossible or stupid, I have another challenge in reserve.

Good luck :)

so the 3 of us can work together to make 3 seperate cards that work together? or work by ourselves and create a single card?

justed wanted to make sure

That are basically your options, yes. If you want to act on your own, you can do that, but you can also work together :)

Alright, I was thinking something along these lines:

[spoiler=Cosmic Gem Sapphire Bipedal Android]

99600g.jpg

Lore:

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned when your opponent controls more monsters than you do. When this card is successfully Special Summoned, you can place one Sapphire Magnet Counter on each Level 6 or lower monster your opponent controls (max. 1). For each Sapphire Magnet Counter placed this way, place a Sapphire Bolt Counter on this card. Once per Battle Phase, you can remove one Sapphire Bolt Counter from this card to remove a Sapphire Magnet Counter on a monster your opponent controls. If you do, those monsters must battle. If your opponent's monster is an Effect Monster, negate its effect(s) until the end of the Damage Step. When this card destroys a monster by battle this way, you can Special Summon a "Sapphire Guard Token" (Rock-Type/LIGHT/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 600). Once per turn, when this card would be destroyed, you can flip a coin. If the result is heads, you can Tribute a "Sapphire Guard Token" instead.

Perhaps create some support for its luck effect?

ok, here's what i got

245354yi.jpg

Lore:

Once per turn, select 1 of the following effects:

- Until the End Phase. Once only, when a monster you control battles with an opponent's monster, you can switch the 2 stats used in the Damage Calculation until the End of the Damage Step.

- Until the End Phase. Once only, you can reverse the result of a coin toss.

- Until the End Phase. Once only, when a monster you control is destroyed, you can pay half your life Points to destroy 1 card your opponent controls.

If any of those effects are selected and activated. During the End Phase, you can Special Summon 1 "Disruptor Token" (Fiend-Type/EARTH/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0) to your side of the field.
