Catterjune
I checked the search bar, and apparently, there was no topic about this so... One fine day, 4 monks, an Asian stereotype Timmy Turner, a Japanese tech-girl voiced by Azula/Vicky the evil babysitter, Spongebob as a brazilian surfer, and some random Texas stereotype are told they're supposed to go on an epic quest to stop the evil Montana Max from from taking all the super magical MacGuffins from all over the world. So, they take the cop from 3rd Rock From the Sun and go on a fantastic adventure. Hilarity ensues. Monks go on a quest to find the magical Shen Gong Wu, facing tougher and tougher quests and stronger and stronger villains as time goes on, always plagued by the threat of "a thousand years of evil" that's about to happen or something. Oh yeah, also whenever both good and evil sides catch a Shen Gong Wu at the same time, they gotta play a Showdown, a ridiculous and over the top kind of a game set to specific rules until one of them does whatever is necessary to win the Showdown. Western animation (it was on KidsWB ), so it's never too angsty or too complicated. Has a fair amount of comedy, as well as a good amount of action and the rare emotional moments. Typically, each season ended in an epic cliffhanger that ended up with a sucky and rushed resolution during the next season premiere. Later on, it got stupider and worse with a few ridiculous villains, but it only lasted for 3 seasons so it's not like it got too draining. Also, plenty of useless filler. Mermaid episode, Yodeling snowman episode, episode with Texas Stereotype's sister, annoying French flower episode, etc etc. For more info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xiaolin_Showdown I'd highly recommend the show. Taichi Masaki
The ending with Raymundo being the chosen one screwed everyone over. I loved it.

I was trying to avoid spoiling the series, because the ending that occurred was rather... jarring, considering we were lead to believe... something else... would occur. But yeah. Î’yakuya
This was my favorite show when I was young, it was one of the best stories than the other shows on KidsWB. I wonder what happened to it. Sure there were some lame unecessary parts, but it all turned out great for an American cartoon.
Larxene
Ah, I remember this show. It was so stupid, but yet incredibly awesome. I always hoped there would've been another season, but I guess the ending of season 3 was decent enough. There probably isn't much for them to do from that point on anyway. Dizzyness
I missed one episode of this on TV. No joke. But I was like, 6 when this show aired and I didn't know about YouTube. On that note, the first few Shen Gong Wu were the best, then they just either repeated the powers or made them terrible, like Ants in the Pants and Moon Stone Locusts (Tongue of Saiping does it better), and any travel based Shen Gong Wu (like the Silver Manta Ray and Shenga-roo) that wasnt the Golden Tiger Claws. Also, maybe if they didn't just use them in the episode they got them then dump them in a giant hole the later ones would be more interesting. I dunno. The beginning is more about the individual cheeky little Shen Gong Wu, but later on it's more about the team and the villains with less emphasis on the magic little MacGuffins. They still had Showdowns, but they fought them for Wu that they already had.

Phantom Roxas
I love how the opening post has heavy criticism but it's still a high recommendation. The show was great, easily the last good show on the channel. Rai was my favorite character, so I was satisfied with the ending.

It was like Teen Titans, in the aspect it was an American show made to look like an Anime(Or something like that) Chase Young was such a badass. But my favorite episode is probobly the one in which Omi had "masted all teh elements", and then [s]spongebob[/s]Hanibal was all "MORE POWER TO YOU, MAI ZOMBEH!!1" with his army of zombie-Jacks. such a ridiculous episode, but its pretty funney/good :3 Also, I liked the Snowman filler-episode ;-;

Catterjune
Chase Young was such a badass.
Amen to that. Always had all sorts of evil schemes, and he pretty much never lost. Even when he officially "lost", he still "won" because he furthered his evil plans. Less Chase Young and less Jack and Wuya made me sad. I didn't give a rats ass about Hannibal Roy Bean and didn't care too much for human Wuya who had her powers nerfed. Also, I missed Tubbimora, Pandabubba, Catknappe, and the Chameleon Bot. My favourite episode was the one where Jack uses the Monkey Staff and the Tongue of Saiping to summon an army of monkeys, and gradually begins to loose his humanity. I especially liked how Omi triggered the Showdown randomly by sticking a Shen Gong Wu in a banana and then catching it at the same time Jack did. Larxene
I'll definitely agree that the first two seasons were the best. The first season of course for the more originality in the Shen Gong Wu and such, as well as some of the funnier episodes. The second season had Chase Young, who was by far the coolest character in the show. But sadly, he got hardly any screentime in season 3, which was a disappointment. No one cares about some dumb old bean. He's useless without that Shen Gong Wu that makes him bigger, other than being manipulative. But if everyone KNOWS he's evil already, who the hell is gonna listen to him? I did like the series finale though, it made up for the rest of the season I guess. Catterjune
Pandabubba had such awesome episodes (He had like, what, 2? but they were still awesome)
I can only remember two off the top of my head. The one where he was first introduced and the one with Kimiko's dad.
The only time Jack actually "won", was with an army of Monkeys xD And its funny, because it was all Chase's idea.
Eh, he won a few Showdowns, though mostly he just snuck into their temple and stole them all. I think Post-Chase, he only won two more times.
One was when Wuya was using a Shen Gong Wu that could control Jack, but she did it mostly for the lulz and it apparently hurt Jack when she used it. As in, she could make him punch through a wall but like... his hand got all the pain of punching through concrete. Likewise, a second time was when for some apparent reason the monks were trying to get Jack to win against Wuya, Hannibal, and Chase. Lesser of two or three evils I guess. So at some point Kimiko uses the Treasure of the Blind Swordsman to change into Jack. It was a... rather odd Showdown over all. My favourite part was Chase at the end. "You surprised me Spicer. And I am rarely surprised... but never fooled." he leans in close to Kimiko-Jack before saying "By the way, love the perfume."
She shrunk it with the changing chopsticks. And I'm pretty sure she also mentioned she specifically created the PDA for it. Though, I'm more bugged that she could use the Conch in the thick of battle in the beginning to block and avoid stuff, yet it was useless for the second part where Hannibal and Chase were only thinking about how handsome they were. I think that bugged me about it in the episode it was first introduced too. Jack was using the Mind Reader Conch in a showdown against Omi, and he read Omi's mind which was like: "I'm gonna do a fancy backflip, land on the thing, then uppercut Jack with my left" or something, and Jack blocked it 'cause he knew it was coming. Why wasn't Omi thinking "Jack is an idiot" then plant his shoe in Jack's face? I think the only other thing that bugged me more then that was...
Grand Master Dashi, Chase Young, and Master Monk Guan were all buddies 1500 years ago. Chase gets a free pass 'cause he drank the magic soup, and so does Dashi 'cause he died. Guan however... he's still alive 1500 years later, yet he was just a regular guy, as far as we were told. Same with Chase Young when he's "good" in the series finale. What gives? Though if we assume that all 3 of them were just immortal and could live for 1500+ years, why did Dashi die? And if he didn't die and is just training in the mountains somewhere, why didn't he show up to stop Wuya in the season 1 finale?

Because the show would suck if God-tier character [X] came back and auto-killed everyone. Though in the episode with Omi freezes himself to go forward in time, only to end up seeing everyone "explode"/He used the Sands of Time to go back evenearlier then he was in before hand, we find out that Master Munk Guan can miraculously create a puzzle box out of thin air. At that time he also told Omi that "You can do a lot of things when your a Grand Master Dragon. You'll see". So somewhere in this episode they hint that Omi is Master Guan and/or just some weird off-spring of his, or something like that. Though if Guan really can do anything, its possible he just teleported back in time just to continue being all lazy-like. Either that, or trying to explain plot-holes/continuity-errors is rather difficult.
