Plot 1

The year is 2030 and the population on earth is thriving, planets are aligning and people are shooting for their goals. However, within the darkness an evil force lurks, Genesis; one of the most powerful creations known to man, his origins and biography are unknown.
King Konan, the King of the world of the Tao Wielders is holding a tournament to find the strongest possible competitor and eliminate Genesis. However, before this tournament starts King Konan wants you all to get to know each other, logically speaking this will pick out those who can objectify easily and put the task ahead of their feelings for their friends.

You are all meeting in the world of the Taoists at a building in a specific location, read my IC post carefully please.

Lee walked briskly through the hustle and bustle of the world of the Taoists, it was a peaceful yet busy race. Lee had never really been far away from home, always a happy young boy he grew up in the quiet country side where he trained in Jeet Kune Do. He headed towards the meeting point where he would meet all of his competitors for the Genesis tournament. Lee approached the building in which they would meet, it towered over him and all of a sudden the life-filled world around him became colourless and meaningless. Without a second thought he opened and made his way through the tall woodwork doors.

He then entered a room where a few of the other competitors were, he recognised none of them, this was a different experience, had he done the right thing?

"Now that you have all of your things, I guess the las thing to say is be careful, alright Ell?" Elliot's uncle said to him as the stood facing each other. A limo was awaiting to take Elliot to his destination. "Don't worry Uncle, I'll be alright. Goodbye." Those were Elliot's last words before he entered the limo. After a moment, the car took off. Elliot's uncle stood there, watching the car as it became smaller and smaller in the distance. "Master Elliot, are you sure this tournament is such a good idea?" the driver asked with an unsure tone of voice. "Don't worry, I know what I'm doing. I have to do this. I'm not going to turn back now." Elliot responded with a confident tone.

After awhile of driving, the limo finally arrived at the destination. After exchanging their goodbyes, the drive drove off. Elliot then turned and face the tall building. "...." Elliot was silent. Numerous thoughts rushed through his mind, but Elliot knew there was no going back. He knew he had to do this. Elliot then entered the building, and soon, entering a room with a group of people. Elliot saw another person standing and walked over to him. "Umm, excuse me. Is this the room for the Tournament meeting?" Elliot asked the person (Lee).

It was evening, but before it was completely dark. Puddles filled holes in the pavement. Akira stood with a women at a street corner. He didn't know her name, or at least he didn't remember. It felt like they were the only two people on Earth. Everything went by quickly. His heart raced, yet they spoke calmly. "I love you," said a voice. Akira wasn't sure whether it was his or her who spoke, but I didn't really matter. They were one and the same. Their lips touched, but never formed into a kiss. This time, she started to say something; he was sure of it. Sadness followed.
The memory faded. Forgotten. Meaningless.

Akira pulled up his left arm's sleeve. A tattoo written in a sloppy cursive handwriting read: each day you will loose more memory until it catches up to the present. then you're new memories are forgotten as soon as they are created. this is your curse.
He didn't remember who wrote the tattoo into his arm, but it was enough to bring Akira to hate that person. He rolled his sleeve back up.
After standing there for a while, thinking about nothing, Akira entered the building. The room was filled with people of all ages. They were either huddled together in small groups, chatting, or off in corners alone, with varying expressions on their faces. Fear was the most notable, the most common, even among the chatting ones.
He walked off to the side, trying not to attract attention to himself. When people stopped watching him to change their attention to the next person who walked in, Akira rolled up his right sleeve. A tattoo of a girl's head and upper body was on it. She was beautiful, and Akira wished he knew who she was.

OOC: Is this room like a waiting room or tournament hall?

Kyo, already in the tournament's main waiting room, watched as two new competitors entered the room. One of them seemed lost, while the other was in thought, before being interrupted of course 2 hours or so before, he had said his goodbyes to his sister, who pleaded him not to go through with this. But he had too, for he was doing this for her sake. He would make a better world for her, that was a promise he would never go back on. Even if that meant he would have to take out Genesis, who apparently was powerful beyond imagination. "I shouldn't be worrying so much right now, after all, these are the easy parts," Kyo said with a smile. He took out his Ipod and began listening to rock music. That always made him feel better. He leaned against the wall, looking around to see all of his competitors. He noticed there were many innocent faces. That made him wonder just how tough this tournament was going to be, but then again he had a pretty innocent face too. Kyo smirked, trying to hold back a random burst of laughter. Who knows, maybe he would make more friends than enemies.

Suddenly, the lights went out for a minute. As the lights were off, footsteps were heard in the quiet room, echoing across the entire hall. Then the lights came back on, and what appeared from the darkness was a figure with a Bloodline Curse tattoo along his left rib. Attached to his right thigh, was a sword with a white hilt and platinum blade in a crimson sheath. The figure looked at his competition and thought that this will be too easy. The figure spoke. "I am Kibuto Karanime, son of Sakura Karanime. I came to exact revenge on my mother's killer and bring peace to this world from Genesis." Kibuto smirked.

OOC: Tournament Hall I would say.

Lee turned to the boy next to himself, "Yeah, I think it is" Lee said, "Nice to meet you, my name is Lee, what's yours" Lee said with a huge grin on his face. Without waiting for a response Lee glanced around the room promptly adding speech to his body language "there's not many people here really... Huh, odd, I thought there'd be a whole lot more, with the sake of the world at this "Genesis" being's hands, I would of really thought there'd be more" Ah well, c'mon, let's meet and greet our future opponents... I never did catch your name by the way, what was it again?" Lee said striding off ahead.

Chu has traveled by boat , plane and car to get to the tournament and felt his heart pumping as he climbed out of the taxi and got ready to walk into the hall where everyone was meeting. All he could think about was what was lied ahead of him and if he was going to find out more information about the deaths of his parents when he was young , he opened the old creeky doors of the hall and walked in.

As he walked in all he could hear was talking , footsteps and lots of noise and mumbling. He walked over to the table where the drinks were placed and picked up a glass of orange juice.

Kyo was enjoying his music when the lights turned off suddenly. When they were turned back on a figure introducing himself Kibuto Karanime was standing before all of the competitors. "I'd say that was a grand entrance, but over here it could've got him killed," Kyo mumbled to himself. "Does this mean he is reckless? No way to know for sure, but if he had the guts to come in like that, he must have the strength to back it up," Kyo added. He smiled, he was curious about all his competition, but Kibuto especially caught his eye. Maybe since his mother was killed as well as Kyo's, no it wasn't that. Maybe it was just the fact that destiny wanted them to fight...yes, that was much more likely. If Kyo was to be the one to defeat Genesis, he wanted to go through Kibuto first.

"What am I thinking?" Kyo thought. "Since when did I actually want to fight? What is this feeling? It's like another part of me is being unleashed." Kyo clutched his heart in pain, but the pain subsided soon. Things were becoming very strange for him...

Before Elliot could have a chance to answer, he noticed that the lights went out for a bit and then turned back up with the arrival of a new competitor stating his name out loud. "(Well, I guess that person doesn't waste any time....)" Elliot then redirected his attention back to Lee. "Oh I appologize. Anyways, I am Elliot Rune, it's a pleasure to meet you Lee. You seem like a nice guy and someone I can communicate with. Just between you and me, it seems a bit tense in this room. I mean, some of these fighters look like they're about to kill each other. I don't know about you, but I prefer leaving the fighting for when the tournament begins." Elliot slightly joked as he stared around the room subtly. He noticed a couple of really menacing faces, but those sometimes turns out to be the weakest fighters. Elliot can also see quite a bit of calm in other fighters, suggesting they must be powerful fighters or they're just overconfident. "I also dislike killing, so if I can during this tournament, I will recluse from killing anyone. Afterall, the sly eagle doesn't kill at whim. Anyways, I can sense you have a very powerful and free-flowing Ki energy. The same could be said for several other fighters presently in this room. The competition is going to be tough...."
