[Garaa of the Desert]

[i]"Huh... what the heck is going on here?"[/i] he wondered on the ground by the pressure but was able to hold himself standing by the rock by him and when he stood up he saw almost everybody on the ground [i]"Who's doing this?"[/i] questioned Takeshi [i]"How are they doing this?"[/i] he wondered, struggling to keep himself up. Takeshi laid his arm on the rock aiming at one of the mysterious people with his plasma rifle and fired about 10 shots at her rapidly, but not doing enough damage to change the pressure back to normal but only for her to flinch and before she could look he dropped back down but having a huge dust cloud appear from how hard he hit the ground. Hoping neither one the mysteries saw him, but just so he was ready he withdrew his plasma sword and stabbed it into the ground to hide the faint glow it gave off in the light.

Alice had just managed to get to her feet when the pressure wave hit. Because she was a way back from the fight, the pressure wasn't quite as strong, and she managed to stay on her feet, although barely. Even so, she found she couldn't move, and even her arms, which, being metal, had a higher density and were thus better to push back, seemed as though they were made of lead. She looked to the source, which was the two strange people, the 'green wolf' and 'brown wolf,' as Joey had called them. [i]What they're saying...does that mean they're Joey's brother and sister?[/i] she gasped, but had little time to think on it as the boy - who, given that the girl had a plant-related power, she guessed was the brown wolf - approached her. As he did, the pressure rose, and it took most of her concentration to even stay upright.

However she heard what he said, as he touched her chin, clearly enough. Her instinct was to hit him, but the pressure meant she had barely forced her hand above her elbow before the boy jumped back to avoid electricity. Glancing that way she saw Joey, apparently furious, before she sank to her knees from the pressure just before she noticed the girl grab Selina in a vines. [i]No,[/i] she thought. She may not have been a fighter, but if there was anything she could do she would.


Zoe, heading in the other direction, felt the pressure from behind her. It wasn't the wind she seemed to generate in a rush, and it seemed somehow dangerous. She turned around and ran back towards Alice, but despite her efforts the pressure was building too much for her, and she could only watch the scene unfold, powerless to get involved.

[Joey Miles]

hikaru laughed wickidly as cerberious burned her first layer of vines. she walked over to him smiling evily as she did. "you know little boys should learn to stay down." she said as she kicked cerberious in the nuts hard. "plus you really should hurt a pretty women." she said before walking over to selina rewraping her up. "now nerocities we're almost done here and once we." before she could finish her sentence joey had a blade agianst her throat and his free hand pointed to
Zacaris glowing with energy. "how said nerocities that you have to go into your second stage to be able to fight us. it just shows how weak you are." hikaru said looking at joey. his body now had marking of electricty all over him and his eyes were glowing gold. he had a more feral look to him now as if he would kill someone just to kill them.

"it is said hikaru but it cant be helped when a dog is becoming feral." Zacaris as he shook his head at joey. he simply raised his hand and the earth swolled joey down to his waist and hikaru smiled. she pulled out a blade from her pocket and leaned down to joey. "now heres your gift nerocities for being such a bad boy." she said walking disiparing from site and reaparing right behind peter. (the ring thing is approved for this) she smiled looking at the three surprised teans before slicing peters throat with a sicking sound.
"and now the dead is done." she said disiparing agian. (if it was jason who could come back to life make it him who got killed k.)
with that both hikaru and Zacaris disipared selina with them. only one last thing was heard before they left. "your weak nerocities and you always will be." the voice said sounding complety demonic.

"Is this the end? ..." Peter tried to say with no results. Falling back heavy and hard against the ground. Blood began to pour out of him in a warm yet cold puddle that he layed in. A tear began to form in his left eye. Reaching a hand torwards Rose's foot with the last of his strength. The want of revenge, the sorrow of ending began to fade from his thoughts as the pain was no longer being felt. A cold breeze rushed through Peter's body as he said a few more words. "I...Im... s-so ...sor..." Peter was gone. His hand falling of Rose's foot as he became nothing more than a corpse.

John continued forward as he came by a girl. A slightly younger girl trying to help her friends. John gave a hand to help her up. His grin sliding into a frown. [i]"Something is not right..."[/i] The mosnter in his head began to worry.

Zoe felt the pressure lifting, just as some guy she hadn't met offered her a hand to help her up. Worn out from staying as upright as she had been, she took it and forced herself to her feet. She may have been distant from the scene, but she had seen the whole encounter, and was, although she wouldn't admit it, somewhat in shock over someone being killed and someone else being kidnapped in front of her. She swayed, which reminded her she had to retain her balance and not fall over.


With the pressure gone Alice stood properly, but that didn't seem to be much of a comfort. Selina was gone, taken by those two strange people, and another boy, who she recalled being named Peter from somewhere, was lying on the ground, his throat cut open by the mystery girl. Alice was far from a medical expert, but she was pretty sure something like that wasn't something that could be treated easily, and she could do little but watch as the boy bled out. She turned to where Joey was now buried up to his waist. He was probably one of the most powerful people in the school, if for no other reason that he had experience in fighting, and yet those two had overpowered him almost effortlessly. Whoever they were, they were very powerful, and very dangerous. And they already had one of their friends.

The animated shadows swirling around John began to fade as the mystery people got away. John's wings didn't budge the whole time, no one had seen his wings other than the man he was going to fight with before. Anger began to shake John as his eyes fell to Peter. "No..." John ran to Peter, dashing quickly to a halt as he fell to his knees near his dead little brother. "Crap, Crap,Crap!" John said as he check different points on Peter for signs of life. "Dammit!" John shouted. The animated shadows began to linger around him again slowly twirling upward then outward. His eyes were shut as he kept the tears back with very little effort needed. Sitting cross legged next to his brothers corpse, waiting for something to happen. "It is not supposed to end this way..." John said lowly, unsure if anyone had heard him. His arms folded across his chest his head bent forward.

It was hard enough as it is to withstand the pressure while using his bat as a cane and fire to propel him to keep him up but even the just barely. Being kicked in the balls did not help. It made him lose his concentration and balance. He fell to the ground with a thud. "Bi***. That's a dick move." [i]Literaly...[/i] He could only watch as Selina was kidnapped and the man that had helped Hyoma out on the first day at the assembly was killed. The two felt useless. Even after they left and the pressure was lifted Cerberus stayed lying on the ground but not because of the pain. It was all he felt like doing. That he was nothing. Eventually Hyoma gained control over the body again and stood up though nuts were still very sore. "Joey...I-I'm sorry. I was completely useless." He wasn't even able to look Joey in the eyes. Instead he just looked down, his hair covering his eyes.

Rose fell to her knees and the golem fell into the water as if it was never there, Rose grabbed Peter hand as she did tears began to flow from her eyes, but she did not make a sound. Jaspn hit the ground cursing loudly, but he calmed himself quickly he needed to stay calm he could not let his anger get the best of him, he walked slowly over to Rose and the other man sitting next to Peter's body, Jason trasformed back into his human form, he sat next to Rose putting an arm around his little sister, he had no words to comfort her pain, but he too was pained by Peter's death, but now there was nothing either of them could do Peter was lost to them forever

John sat next to Peter as two other people he reconised as some people close to Peter, came to his other side. John looked up, his hair was just like Peter's but a little longer, started to wave across his face. John and Peter looked alike, Peter wasn't in his usual frown but expresionless. John's frown resembled Peter's. John first looked to the boy, then the girl. Just about to open his mouth to say something smart. Closing his mouth quickly to prevent saying somethin stupid or hurtfull. [i]"The little girl is crying for him, John, these people are the closest thing to Peter that may be called a 'Family. That is still alive ofcourse."[/i] The monster sounded a little monotone inside John's head. John's eyes looked torwards Rose's. John then realised that those may just be the only tears shed for Peter. John began to stand up slowly.

As Slaton saw the two attackers leave the pressure lifted from the area. As he took off his armor he saw a group of people gathered around the person who died. [i]I feel bad for them, but I need to leave the beach for now.[/i] As he walked towards his car he felt weak since he hasn't had anything to eat all day. "Where is the nearest fast food place?" he said outloud as he checked out his map. After finding a place he started up his car and left the beach. Wanting to think of something else then what just happened he turned on the radio.

As the two people left the pressure subsided and Mary was able to move again. She had seen the the 2 people take Selina away and kill another person, so she was both confused and angry. Looking around she noticed Joey who seemed to be almost completely buried in the dirt. For some reason the site of him only pissed her off even more. So she got up and ran to him as fast as she could using push marks to boost her momentum. With one leap she landed square in front of joey's head. "Where is she? Where did they take Selina" She slap him hard on the left side of his face. Her anger rises and she only thinks of one thing, Severing the bonds that she's created with people. The tips of her fingers begin to glow silver and she looks at them [i]What!?! Is this a new mark !?![/i]. She scrapes her fingers onto the ground and the sliver glows switch to the ground tracing along the path that Mary created when she scraped her fingers. Having a feeling that these new marks worked liked her push mark she removed them. When she did the sliver lines cut down into the ground. She didn't know what to think and looked at her fingers then the gashes in the ground and finally at Joey and started to cry.

Jack hadn't realized how tired he was until the pressure lifted. Even though he was pissed he was just to hot and to tired, so collapsed and fell to sleep.

joey was expressionless as he let mary slap him. he didnt say anything to her he knew it was his fault that selina was gone and peter was dead. [i] i wasnt strong enough[/i] he thought quietly. [i]even in my released state i wasnt stong enough![/i] he though anger searing through him. "Damn it!" joey yelled the ground around him cracking as electricty released into the air making it heavy like it had been before. the pressure started to return to the beach but this time it wasnt as heavy only serving to make joey madder that he couldnt even make the same amount of pressure. joey pulled himself out of the ground his gold eyes watching everyone as his hair stood on ends his body changing making him look more demonic a deep growl in his throat.

Hyoma fell to the ground. Although obviously not as strong as before it was too much for him. "Joey?" [i]F***. This isn't good. Bring me out now.[/i] Hyoma's hair and eyes turned red. The pressure wasn't as bad as before but it was still a hassle. He was able to get back up with not as much effort as before but it was still a hassle. He grabbed Joey's shoulder and punched him in the face. "Listen you stupid a**hole. I was just as useless as you and going beserk isn't going to do anything. At least you weren't kicked in the groin. Now get some sense before I beat it into you." Cerberus knew that if Joey was able to create this pressure then there was no way he could possibly win but he really just didn't give a crap.

joey growled at cerberis as he punched him in the face. his hand moving faster then what was tought to be possible joey had cerberis's hand and was holding him up off the ground. "how dare a simple human touch me. do you know who i am fool." joey said in a voice not all his own. he threw cerberis into the ocean not to far out but far enough to submerge him up to his chest. "I am nerocities the demon king of lightning and no mere human should ever lay their." joeys voice suddnly became strangled as his eyes fought between gold and gray. "stop it!" he yelled lighting shooting up into thew sky as the two forces struggled within him. "you arnt stong enough you fool. the only way to win is to allow me to be in control!" the demonic voice growled. "Never! i wont become a full demon just to win a fight." joey yelled falling to the ground clutching his head in pain. "someone please help me" joey cried out electricty cyrcling him in large bands of blue light. tears fell from joeys eyes as he relised what hikaru had ment when she said he was going to be punished. this was his punishment. if his inner demon took over then he would kill all his friends. [i]i cant let it happen but i'm not strong enough to stop him[/i] joey thought as the electricty danced around his body.

John stood fully. John was never considered "Special". No one ever looked at his powers and thought they were "cool". Looking back into the past, his powers never brought anything but pain and lose. John's monster was what made him eventually grow up and adopt a serious attitude. Looking over at the stange boy, with the lightining around him. John looked down at his fist. "Can I?"
He asked himself. [i]"You sure your ready? Your body is not built for a fight with some one like that. Look at how quickly that other person disposed of Peter... In all seriousness, the best chance you'de have is to lunge at him with all you've got and pray he doesn't whip you away with one hand."[/i] John heard the monster's words. Thinking it over before turning torwards the kid. "My smooth talking wouldn't get us out of here any less damaged,aye?" John whispered to the monster in his head. [i]"Just go for it, your goal of using Peter's agony to fuel your life with some kinnd of sick happiness is gone now..."[/i] John's wings ripped threw the air were he stood. Carefull not to hit anybody, but too used to crowded situtaions, he didn't look away from the glowing boy. A grin shot across his face and opened wide to reveal a large set of thick and sharp teeth, capable of cutting anything John had needed them to. John's shadow launched up into the air and John levitated up with it. The shadow hit his body and began to form small details, like veins and facial features, the shadow that didn't hit his body began to solidize and form large heavy bones that flew inside the massive structure just in time to land inside the skin. Fur covered the giant bat that floated in the air, this pressure was felt but nothing like what was displayed before. The bat roared at the lightning boy as it lunged into him. [i]"Di-did it say Demon King?... you guys might be a little more related than I thought..."[/i] John ignored the monster's false guess, as the giant bat opened its mouth wide and bit into Johns chest as the top jaw reached up over his right shoulder and the teath pushed down on the opposite side of the boy's back.

"Joey! Calm down!" Kyosuke yelled, "We gotta help him!" He said, now unpossesed and aware of what was happening. He didn't remember anything from before. "Demon King?" Kyosuke took a few steps back "Rainer, What the hell is going on with him?" Kyosuke didn't know what happened to him, "Guys, we gotta hold him, or do something! Rainer, he's your brother, he's being possesed by something, I've seen this before!" Kyosuke said, referring to a, deep part of his past... He took a step back and two black orbs formed around his hands, "If we have to, we'll defend ourselves."

rainer shhok his head and kyo putting a hand on his sholder holding him back. "dont do anything. its joeys battle now and if he looses it then we wont be able to win anyway. besides last time something like this happened the only person able to stop him was his girlfriend." rainer said as he watched his brother knowing the pain he was going through. unlike joey rainer got along with his inner demon but that was a diffrent story.

joey watched as the boy who rushed him was shot off like a bullet charged with electricty. he felt bad for him but at the second he had bigger problems. he was starting to loose the battle and as he did the amount of electricty around him incresed now making a large cracking noise as it did. "please some one help." joey cryed tears now streaming down his face as the pain increses.

[Jake the Sage]

It had all happened so fast. First Jake had gotten into a fight with a promising enemy, only to have that man shot by another. His attention had turned on getting revenge for a stolen kill, but this person seemed more otherworldly than the last- but it did nothing more than to add to the thrills. Then it was all over, before he could land another blow onto his enemy's face they had been interrupted and his foe no longer paid any attention to him. Indeed it appeared that whatever forces had been at work to cause such a ruckus had ended, leaving only two single people continuing on with their bout- Joey and John. Joey had unleashed a furry of lightning at his opponent and seemed to have the upper hand. However despite the supposed immense voltage it appeared as if the bat form John had taken wasn't being affected at all; possibly because he wasn't grounded to anything to complete the charge? Looking around at the expressions on everyone's face Jake became . . . confused . . . and couldn't understand what everyone was so serious about Joey losing, people lose . . . so what? It soon began to irk him that everyone, or the better half of them, had looks of concern on their faces as Joey continued his electrical assault.

"Why the f*ck are you all concerned for?! If he looses then so be it!" Jake suddenly said stepping up to the group and forming an energy ball in his hands, "And if I need to prove it then you bet your d*mn asses I will!"

Thinking fast, John landed on a furry little claw and openned his mouth to sound off a sharp annoying noise that would force someone to put their hands to their ears to shut out the terrible high-pitched wail. [i]"Lets just hope that guy's hearing becomes acute when he gets like that, if so, then his ears would be in so much pain."[/i] The monster in John's head thought. [i]" Are you in here, John?... John?... Yooohooo, John!"[/i] The monster was worried that John had left him all alone. "What do you need?" John thought to the monster, Impossible to speak with his mouth letting out the terrible noise. [i]"Thank goodness, I thought you were ignoring me..."[/i] "Should I?..."

[The Final Messenger]

At that time Sin got up, eye smoking from the bullet. He walked over to Joey, he'd probabpy be the only one who wouldn't be effected by electrocution, so it worked out well for both parties. Sin didn't say anything, he just put his hand on Joey's shoulder, almost as if he was saying, "its okay, don't be sad, I'll help." Which of course was the message he was trying to send. "....my name is Sin....." Sin said. He sighed, his body was smoking from the electricity that was zapping him like hell. "....I might be able to help.... Just calm down..........." Sin added, to calm Joey down and because he actually could help Joey with his predicament.

Cerberus wasn't able to react quick enough and was thrown into the water. A few minutes later Hyoma came out of the water coughing. "Damn...he's too strong..." [i]F***...again nothing we can do.[/i] He got out of the water so he wouldn't be accidentally electrocuted. "Everybody! Stop! Th-there's nothing we can do. He's too strong...this isn't Joey." He got up in front of him not caring about the danger. "Don't attack him!" He turned into Cerberus but he didn't care how wet he was. "Or I'll slaughter you." He looked at Sin. "I don't care what the h*** you are but get away from him. He doesn't give a s*** what you say."

[The Final Messenger]

"..okay then..." Sin said, creating his scythe-hybrid. "...now where the hell is the bastard who killed me the second time....." Sin muttered to himself, looking around. He walked about the area and asked loudly, ".....who is the idiot who shot me?....." It was a generally straightfoward question, easy enough to answer at the very least. He looked at Jake, he still had a score to settle with him, but he didn't kill him. He took a breath and looked at Cerberus, ".....you seem to be a knowledgable person, do you believe in ghosts?......" Sin asked this question randomly out if nowhere, it was strange really, the question, but it was something Sin needed to know for now, if he could reveal his identity or not.

Alice had watched as Joey seemed to struggle with the idea he had been lost. Worse, however, he seemed to be fighting - and losing - some sort of demon for control of his body, or something. Electricity was crackling from his body, and when someone rushed at him they were bounced off by the electrical field. Joey was there, shouting for help, but what could she do. Joey was probably one of, if not the strongest fighter here, and unless Rainer did something....

Rainer mentioned that it had happened before, and it took Joey's girlfriend at the time to stop him.

Girlfriend...the word stuck in her head, and her face reddened.

Some guy was going on about how losing wasn't a big deal. Zoe came up behind him and slammed the flat of her sword over his his head. "Idiot!" she yelled, before dropping her voice. "Weren't you watching. Someone died, and someone else was kidnapped. Losing here mattered."


Alice clenched her fists, having worked up the courage to do something that was probably going to be painful. Cerberus was yelling at people not to fight, but that wasn't her plan. After all, she didn't know how to fight, other than some basic self defence. "Joey," she said, stepping in front of the boy to get his attention. She opened her arms, and her body and legs began to turn into metal as well. For some reason, it wasn't as painful, probably because Joey's electricity was already in her arms. "It's OK," she told him. "I know how it feels, when you've done everything you can, and more still, and yet it's still not enough. It hurts, but that's not a bad thing. Isn't that why we aim to improve?" She walked forwards to embrace the boy, fully expecting that the electricity surrounding the body would hit her - and that it would hurt. "You've already beaten what's inside you before, haven't you?" she asked. "So you can do it again."

John took a deep breath, the screach didn't work... as a matter of fact... it didn't effect anyone. Peter was laying dead near by John. The shadows unweathed and let the man standing in them out. John was going to walk near the boy and the girl, but didn't. More like couldn't. John's body was stuck standing right where the form wore away. John could say something, if he did, then he should be able to move. Opening his mouth in the middle of what the girl had to say... but didn't interupt her. He waited until the girl finished then added. "Sure, if you were stronger, Peter would be alive right now... but that makes no difference now, ... does it? ..." Then to the girl. "He is your proplem." Positive that he meant the boy with the lightning, but as John launched off and flew away, it felt like he was saying good bye to Peter.

Cerberus let Alice go past him but he didn't really know why. "Hey Hyoma, why did I do that?" [i]Isn't it obvious?[/i] He looked back to Alice who was walking torwards Joey. [i]This happened with Rainer. There was no way we could beat him but remember?[/i] "I see..." [i]Alice is the only one who can stop him now.[/i] "There has to be something we can do..." [i]Let's at least make the trip a bit easier for her...[/i] "Heh, you suicidal bastard. I can't believe I'm actually going to do this." He ran up to alice using his fire to help him along. "We'll do what we ca-" He took the hit for some electricity that was about to hit Alice. "Don't mind me. Don't complain about me. I won't be able to block all of them and in a few-" He was struck by another bolt. "I'll be knocked out...but just let me do my part. That a**hole still owes me 10 bucks."
