TCG warrior
maybe nice to say about what card we're talking. For as far as I know M.B X started about mother grizzly. If I'm wrong, please tell me. Further more, you don't have to tribute to special summon a monster, only if the effect of the card you use says you have to tribute. Monster reborn is an example of a card that don't need any tribute, symbols of duty is an example of a card that need a tribute, for special summon it's about what the effect says, nothing about tributing, no tribute needed. LiAM
When Mother Grizzly is destroyed by battle, after damage is applied, he can Special Summon 1 WATER monster from his Deck (with 1500 or less ATK). Any Normal/ Tribute Summons or Sets after will require the specified amount of Tributes. He cannot Normal Summon monsters without Tribute because of that card. DeathSDelano
As long as the WATER monster has 1500 or less ATK you can SS it with mother grizzly no matter the Level because it is a Special Summon not a Normal Summon Unless the card says "This card cannot be Special Summoned"
Sotos
Of course, if it is Lv.5 or higher, but has ATK 1500 or lower, you don't need to Tribute any monsters to Summon it...

M.B X
I really dont understand what you are saying, but...Lore: When this card is sent to the Graveyard by battle, you can Special Summon 1 WATER monster with 1500 or less ATK from your Deck in face-up Attack Position.TCG Rulings:If you attack with your "Mother Grizzly" and it is destroyed as a result of battle, you may attack with the monster Special Summoned by "Mother Grizzly" before entering Main Phase 2.f your opponent controls your "Mother Grizzly" and it is destroyed as a result of battle, you get the effect of "Mother Grizzly" NOT your opponent.Since the Special Summoning occurs during the Damage Step, "Torrential Tribute", etc. cannot be used. Hope i helped :D
