Family Friendly
Adventure Time. Regular Show. Scooby Doo! Mystery Incorporated. MAD. Total Drama World Tour. Johnny Test. Since the Ed, Edd, 'n' Eddy thread basically deteriorated into this. Please please please please don't be that one douche who says "DUDE CARTOON NETWORK WAS ONLY GOOD WHEN TOONAMI WAS ON" please please please. This is a discussion on the current lineup, not how tight your nostalgia goggles are strapped to your head. With that being said, discuss.
Catterjune
Regular Show.
... Is that like... the real title of a real show? On-topic: Wasn't Johnny Test canceled after it stopped being on Kids WB? If not, it really should have been. From what I've gathered from casually skimming through channels, it seems like the Fairly Odd Parents, except replace magic with his twin sisters' "science" (and I use the term science very loosely). Also, there's a talking dog. I can't say much for the rest of the garbage on CN, as I haven't even remotely tried to watch it. I think I remember seeing parts of Total Drama Island. It was mildly amusing, though not really something I could see running for more then a season... especially since (as far as I can tell from the commercials) it's the exact same characters from previous seasons. Off-topic: No love for Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated? It's by far my favourite show on CN right now and probably my favourite new Western animated series. (New as in, came out in 2010)

Catterjune
My favourite thing about the new Scooby Doo is how they stopped just having Freddy, Velma and Daphne as background props while Scooby and Shaggy do all the heavy lifting. Now like, all the characters are equally important to the plot, and they seem to be fleshing out the characters a lot more. Daphne's the lovesick girl in love with Freddy, but she can have moments of confidence like the episode with the Hex Girls. Not to mention she's no longer the "ditz" and has found the pivotal clue a bunch of times. Freddy's the oblivious idiot and by far one of my favourite characters on the show, and Velma's the snide sarcastic one who's in love with Shaggy. And Shaggy and Scooby have mostly toned down their ridiculous antics. It feels more like a parody or a homage to the originals rather then a straight up continuation, which is a refreshing breath of fresh air for a series that's been going on since 1969. The past few episodes have made Velma into a major b****, and I really don't think it's fair that the writing is trying to push us towards that mentality. She's taking the backseat to a dog, for chrissake. Oh, and the shout-outs to old episodes are really cool, like the Creeper flashback in Alice May and the reappearance of the Hex Girls. Catterjune
Uhh... on an unrelated note, can we get a quick-ish summary for some of those shows? When I hear "MAD" I think of either Spy versus Spy shorts or Mothers Against Drunk Driving, and only the first can really be a cartoon (though probably more aimed towards Adult Swim what with the way they randomly kill each other)

A new show on CN. It's about a human named Finn and his talking shape-shifting dog named Jake, going out on adventures in a magical world. In that world, pretty much they deal with bad guys and go out on quests and that stuff like adventurers do. So basically, they deliver justice to all evildoers and solve everyone's problems. Regular Show. Pretty much a bluejay and a raccoon on a wacky comedy series featuring two best friends going on a regular basis in a day filled with comedy. Scooby Doo! Mystery Incorporated. Another remade series of Scooby Doo, with more adventures of ghosts, legends, monsters, and all other sorts of things, with some certain twists and still keeping the same style of the old shows. MAD. MAD must be a cartoon series of the famous MAD TV. I watch the adult version which made me LMAO on several parts. but I guess this was fit for likes of children. Total Drama World Tour. 17 teenage contestants hosted by Chris McLaine sets off in an all around the world show doing challenges to see who wins one million dollars. they will travel from Egypt, to Germany, to Greece, to China, and to more as well. Based on previous seasons, Total Drama Island and Total Drama Action, pretty much of a wild and hilarious show. Johnny Test. An 11 year old boy with a talking dog have crazy adventures with his older twins, Susan and Mary test. Johny, always volunteers to test experiments for her sisters, and gets in trouble, but while also fighting evil that comes along the way sometimes.
Kuri
Yea the only thing I watch on CN nowadays are -Scooby Doo (since its plots are actually getting better and not as predictable >.>) -KND (Seriously? Why would I even explain why, just watch it....) -Ed Edd n Eddy (^^above) As for Sym Biotic....its graphics look ok but I'm pretty sure its just going to be a wannbe anime (and possibly be a good show but a "once in a lifetime" showing like Life and Times of Juniper Lee; imo opinion it was ok) like Ben 10 and that old show umm I think it was call MGX or something but that show ended in 2004 when all the somewhat good shows were on ALONG with toonami.....why did those parents need to complain....the kids probably read those manga which are far more graphical (Soul Eater is an example).... CN lost its right to be on TV bringing in new "comedy" and "action" shows. Its almost as equal as DisneyXD (owait)....Nick imo (Nicktoons) is the only good kids channel alive with some good comedy (along with Avatar: TLA [which is NOT an anime, but *somwhat* a wannabe anime] the place = awesome)
