The YCM War: Glitches Plot [Accepting/Started] {PG-17}

[Blake]

Black leaned back in his chair, and placed his hand on his eyes. It was making him feel at ease. "The what incidents? What the devil are you going on about Shadow?" Black took a quick peek at a clock before resuming his position. He could care less about the food, because he wanted to take a quick catnap to restore some of his vitality before the time to go arrived. "Tell us, Shadow, what are these incidents? and be snappy, I don't have all evening." Black did not mean to sound so harsh, but he was eager to get a move on. A move on to his bed.

[El Make]

[i]I can sort of see it... yes... that's it! The wall surrounding New Forum... Good, we're heading straight for the corner that'll blow... Time to send Jaden the message![/i] Tenkai pulled out his cell phone and held up a hand to block the glare of the sun. Behind him, he could hear grunts of excitement as he wrote up the notice.

"Jaden, time to light up the skies. Set distraction bombs off first, then wait 2 minutes before setting the wall bombs off. Don't mess up, the invasion rides on this! >:T"

Pocketing the cell, Tenkai began to jog towards New Forum. With the bombs going off, the gaurds should thin on this part, allowing less of a chance of being spotted. Or it could completely backfire and gaurds could line the walls. Either way, that section of wall was blowing up, and there wasn't a thing Nexus could do to stop this invasion.

[i]2 minutes should be enough for the Nexus elites to rush to the scene... Once they're there, New Forum is open for business...[/i]

[Fusion X. Denver]

Jaden opened his cell phone to see the message. "About time.." he muttered as he leaped out of the window of the abandoned house he was residing in. He had camped by the wall with the distraction bombs so he could act quickly, which he did. With careful aiming and dexterity, Jaden aimed each of the fingers on his right hand and fired a lightning bolt from each one. They detonated immediately and the wall came crashing down. Immediately after, he took off in the opposite direction.

[i]Now for the other wall, it should take me just about 2 minutes to get there, couldn't ask for better timing.[/i] The wall soon loomed in sight and he began to run electricity through his sword. When he saw the hand on his watch indicate that precisely 2 minutes had passed, he swung the blade to send an electrical wave at 2 of the 7 bombs. He fired a lightning bolt from each of his fingers once more at the remaining bombs and dove for cover. The explosions boomed and resounded throughout the next minute and Jaden texted Tenkai, "I did it lol we should get pizza to celebrate afterward xP"

[El Make]

"Test Tube Team! Come with me! Nexus Team! Head for the base! Go, go, go!" Tenkai yelled as the beginning of Verdin began to scramble over the collapsed wall, a few dead gaurds viewable under some rubble. The Verdin seemed to split in half, one going towards the center of the city, one heading into seemingly no where. Pulling out his cell phone for a record breaking time in his life, he contacted Nexev.

"Dude, where's your frikin base? Got past wall, invading New Forum as typing this. Get me your location, NAO! >O"

[i]Damn, this is it Nex... don't cross me now, or this whole plan might blow up in Verdin's face![/i]

[Ghoulish]

Hyabusa stood up as he saw the explosions in the far wall, he remained on the roof standing for a brief second he then clapped his hands together once. "Try-Hyabusa!" Suddenly the 2 other Hyabusa's appeared either side of him. Hyabusa and the other 2 then dashed towards the explosion, noticably many people on the streets were running in fear. Hyabusa ran along the street while the other 2 jumped from building to building until they reached the closest buildings to the wall. Hyabusa stopped about 100 metres away from the explosion, noticably the Verdin team appeared on the rubble of the explosion. Hyabusa stood with slight shock as he then heard the other explosion in the distance. Hyabusa turned his head. "No!" Hyabusa turned back to the carnage in front of him. Hyabusa looked at the 2 other Hyabusa's on the roof who remained hidden. He then turned back to the Verdin with clenched fists, Hyabusa intended to speak but couldn't master the ability at this time, the shock of the event ran through his body still.

[Shadow Zero]

Shadow shook his head in disappointment, although it had nothing to do with the way Black had just spoken. He had hoped that he and Andx would know at least some of what he was about to say so as to make the meeting quicker. He glanced briefly at the small and flat circular device in the middle of the table that was keeping them from being spied on by any means before hitting several keys on the screen on his right side. As he did so, causing a screen to appear in front of him in between Black and Andx along with a larger screen that was above and behind him, he began recounting some of what he had learned thus far. "Over time, large amounts of data have been 'erased' during our time here in New Forum. I only noticed something was odd because some of the things that I was looking up had an older font, which struck me as strange because we haven't used it since the fall of Old Forum. I decided to look into it, and after some effort discovered what had been happening. Fortunately the data was replaced before its being missing could cause problems for anyone, but large amounts of it were removed leaving nothing but a white space where it once was. I wasn't sure why it was happening at first, and to be honest I'm still not sure why. All I know is that between being replaced and being erased, The data was simply gone, almost as if it had never existed at all." Shadow pressed the fingers of his right hand onto the bridge of his nose, sighing again as some of the stress that he had been feeling for a while now started to show. He decided to pause for a few seconds to give Black and Andx a chance to reply, hoping that they understood what he had said thus far and would not pass if off as a mere server error, because it was not. He knew this, and it was only one part to the whole thing that was worrying him.

Edit: OOC: Sorry if this is a repeat or something, but the post I was hoping had made it on last night does not seem to have, so yeah.

[Andx]

Andx listened as Shadow explained what he had been observing as of late. Supposedly data had been getting erased and then returning with a stretch of time in which it simply didn't exist. It seemed to have been explanation that Shadow needed to get out of the way to get to his real point and Andx had followed what he'd been saying as he said in. That being the case, he wanted to have Shadow keep going as he still had the main point of their meeting to get to.
"So data is disappearing for brief periods of time. Is there some sort of significance to that? Worse things have happened while Old Forum was still around. And considering New Forum was an abrupt change, wouldn't some errors like this make sense?" Andx said.

Andx's tail was now casually wagging side to side as he spoke with Shadow. If he was thinking about doing it that meant he was getting bored, but if it was unintentional that meant he was getting into the conversation. At the moment Andx felt like a little of both. Like he was bored but the conversation had the potential to become interesting. Andx had kept the one eye that didn't have the scar over it fixed on Shadow as he spoke with him meaning he was at least taking the conversation seriously.
"So if you mean to say that these aren't simple errors that means you know something important about all of this. Feel free to continue." Andx said.

[Nexev]

Nexev sighed as he read the thing. "We are at the outside of the city, within walking distance north of the location your probbaly at if you are near the bomb site, you'll know it when you see it, it's a abandoned psychatric ward. Be great for some of your soliders ;D. Anyway, you shouldn't have too much trouble reaching us. Going to blow the power now. Make sure to win gloriously. Kay thanks bye. Love Nexev" Nexev sent back.

[Shadow Zero]

Shadow Nodded at Andx and, seeing that Black did not seem to wish to make a reply at the time, continued. "That alone may not seem like cause for concern, but there is more. Please keep in mind that what I say next may not have any connection with what was said before, but it will make sense later on." Shadow paused for a moment before continuing. "Aside from the Erasure incidents, there has also been something else that I think you both have noticed at one point or another. There are buildings in remote areas of New Forum that seem like they were cloned. The truth is that they ARE cloned." Shadow hit a few more keys and the screen behind him blipped before showing the schematics of several different types of buildings, and other buildings that looked like them. "What I found most disturbing was that the buildings could be filled with remnants of the Glitch's minions, Noobs and Trolls wielding corrupted fire who would reside within the buildings and be cloned along with them, multiplying the number of them many times over. I also found this."

Shadow pressed a single button on the screen to his right and caused an object to appear in the middle of the table, hovering about a foot above the circular object that was ensuring that the conversation Shadow was having with Black and Andx would remain private, first the framework of it composed of blue wires, and then the object itself. "This is the remains of what appears to be a concussive weapon similar to a powerful bomb. However, what it does is completely different. Instead of destroying a building, it unleashes a wave of energy that copies it perfectly, right down to whatever imperfections it may have, and place them in empty areas outside of New Forum. I had thought at first that it was a new type of technology that Test Tube Genesis was using, but upon inspecting discovered that it was not the type of style in making it that they are known for. It also has a rather interesting side effect of increasing the postage of whoever is in the vicinity. This had happened to me once before, and I didn't know what the cause of it was at the time, as well as temporarily slowing down time for any type of data that is within the blast radius, sometimes creating duplicates as well. I call it the Lag Bomb, and am convinced that it is being used to increase the number of soldiers in the Glitch's army, even though it is sealed away safely in the remains of Old Forum."

[Jake the Sage]

Jake had told Shadow that whatever information he had then he should tell it to everyone before they left. However uncharacteristically, or very characteristically depending on how you viewed it, Shadow completely disagreed with a superior officer and stated the information was 'too vital to tell anyone else'. Too had further insult to injury Shadow turned his back on Jake and headed into his room, calling for the two he had wanted to talk to along with him. Scowling as the other two went along to see what Shadow had to say Jake pulled his cloak tighter around his body and left the hallway. He knew he should at least go look for Ice and await Shadow before heading off, but at the current moment he could not think of a single [i]good[/i] reason why he had too. Ascending the stairs he came out atop the roof and let the wind blow through his short brown hair as he let out a sigh, [i]"Well this isn't going as quickly as I wnted it too . . ."[/i]

Closing his eyes Jake let the background noises fade as he displayed a talent he really wished he'd not have learned at all- patience. Now in a semimeditation state a loud pop in his ears made him wake from the self induced trance. The pop hadn't came from any noise, no he had long since learned to drown any of that out, so it had to be something else.

[i]"Sir!!!"[/i] a sudden and too loud voice boomed into existance in his brain, the voice loud and sudden enough to make him jump. Looking around he saw no one there and realized it was Nic, whom had not reported in since he had departed Nexus. Placing a finger to his temple he called out, [i]"What is the matter Nic? I would suppose you are not calling me to state you've been captured or what not . . ."[/i]

[i]"No sir!"[/i] Nic's reply came almost instantly and the tone was serious, more serious than normal. Focusing on his partner's words Jake listened, [i]"Its the walls of New Forum, sir! They've collapsed via a large explosion!"[/i]

Breaking contact for now Jake stood up and looked out into the distance, only know realizing the popping in his ears was caused most likely by the explosions shockwave; as his ears had become incresingly sensitive to air pressure during his travels. He paced only twice while trying to think of what to do at the present moment. Snapping his fingers he threw Lora into the air as she reverted back to human form, "Lora go tell Black and Andx what's happened if they haven't learned already! I'm going to head out to New Forum and give them any support I can, understand?!"

His tone was serious and calm, as if he knew the actions he was taking would lead to a favorable outcome, and Lora merely nodded her head. Turning back to the rooftop door she quickly went inside to speak with the leader of the Cirque . . . leaving Jake alone on the rooftop. Placing a finger to his temple once more he called out to Nic, [i]"Nic?"[/i]

[i]"Yes sir?!"[/i]

[i]"I want you to revert back to human form and survey the surrounding land and damage. Give me a detailed report every five minutes until I arrive, is that understood?"[/i] he instructed, knowing no matter what form he'd take it would be a good fifteen to twenty minute trip to New Forum. Replying with his usual 'yes sir' Nic and Jake broke off connection.

NOw physically and mentally alone on the rooftop Jake held his arms out parallel to his body, letting them float there as he summoned his energies. Teleportation would get him there in no time, but the drain on his body would be too much. Rocket prepultion was also an option, though the noise would most likely alert his enemies to his arrival. Settling on the best option of stealth and speed Jake crouched down and let his body reconfigure itself into that of a well known flying kaiju. Leaping off and with a single flap of his immense wings Jake bolted off towards new Forum; the sonic boom created in his afterwake ratteling the Cirque Base.

[El Make]

Tenkai stopped in his tracks as he eyed the message sent to him by Nexev, the people behind him confused about the random stoplight on such an important mission.

"Nexev you little bastard... it would have been helpful to frikin know your base was outside the city... Gah! I don't have time to go back to the entrance! Guess I'll just have to make do with what I got..." Tenkai slid his sword out of it's sheath, the dim light of New Forum casting an eerie light over it. Suddenly, the sword began to melt into a single, liquid like mass before returning to a solid state in which it had two blades, one on each end of the hilt, "The Flare Form... my most likely chance at getting outside."

Tenkai grabbed the hilt with both hands, starting to spin in counter clock wise slowly, then steadily increasing the speed. Soon, the sword was a blur, and a ring of fire began to form at the blade's tip, slowly working it's way into a mass of heat that seemed to consume the air. Tenkai stopped the spinning instantly, the ring shooting forwards and into the wall of New Forum. The ring of fire ate away at the structure, leaving a tunnel like gape in it after a few seconds. Urging his men to follow, he rushed outside and headed towards Test Tube Genesis's base that he saw ahead.

[Ghoulish]

Hyabusa remained calm while in front of the members of Verdin that had just walked through the wall. Hyabusa gave another look at the closest buildings tot he wall, hic "clone" like personnel were in deep cover and coul dnot be seen by the eye. Hyabusa stood up straight with his arms to his side. "Where is everyone..."Hyabusa thought and questioned himself and he pondered over why everyone wasn't there. Suddenly int he distance he could see Jake. Roxas had formed an alliance so no doubt he would be able to help.

[Ultimate Assassin Ninjew]

[i]So now we have more people to deal with. What a bother,[/i] Ninjew thought as Roxas began about the alliance. When Roxas stated about the conversation being private, Ninjew had to say, "Doesn't this faction need to know the issues going on, including those of an alliance? If so then why keep it private, not to mention that dog that was in here, wasn't any ordinary dog. That dog was probably a member or even Black's right hand man." He went quiet for a moment as Roxas called back his Flygon and returned it to it's capsule. "Yeah I can handle things here. Just give me a shout or a message if you need any help. I can get there in no time," he answered. Ninjew turned around and walked out of the office. He gave the suggestion, not because of being friendly, but because he knew something was probably going to happen soon if not already.

[Proto]

PROTO was currently blasting his rocket launcher at random intervals, he had no real orders, just to make as big as a explosion as possible to get some attention of Nexus, and he was not going to kill possible absorption targets.... yet. "Creator, any input on when I am to stop the destruction? I am beginning to run low one ammunition supplies. Any error with the Nexus signals?" PROTO then decided to do the resourceful choice, placing his rocket launcher aside he charged up a green blast of energy and blasted it up in the air, the POS blast exploded in mid-air, sending a large green light out into the skies, like a firework. "Protocol 786 Concluded"

[The Warden]

Broken laughed wildly as the explosions rnag out through the air. 'WHEEEE!' he cried as he ran through the front doors to the outside of the Test Tube Genesis base. The dirt clouds from the wall were wafting above the city. 'PRETTY!' he screamed loudly. Proto's POS bomb rang clear off the sky and his shildish mind grinned wildly. 'HEY NEX!' he called back into the base through the doors. 'YOU'RE MISSING A GREAT SHOW OUT HERE!' he added.

[Kazooie]

Falsetto had rushed the city with the rest of the Verdin, but noticed Tenkai had looked back and motioned for someone to follow him. Not knowing if he was meaning her, she followed anyway. "Tenkai, what are we doing? We need to be storming the city! Especially you! IF they don't see you at the invasion, they may lose faith in you!" She had always held the belief a leader should fight with their warriors, unless they wished to be branded a coward of course. "So, if we have a decent reason for this, I'd like to know before I continue away from the fight!"

[El Make]

Tenkai turned to Falsetto at the words, but quickly snapped his attention back to the Test Tube base ahead.

"I know that, but me coming to Test Tube Genesis's base is far more important than my warrior's faith in me," Tenkai said as he kept running for his target, "And besides, if this plan goes off as it should, my men will be seeing a lot of me in those walls. Once this phase is completed, we're blasting our way back into New Forum and getting dirty..."

When Tenkai had at last finished talking, he arrived at an already damaged entrance to the base of Test Tube. Slowing down into a walk, he shuffled along into the lair, kicking aside some spare machinary here and there. Soon enough, a group of Verdin crowded around the entrance, some keeping lookout, some eyeing the building, and some walking along with Tenkai.

"Alright Nexev, where the hell are you?" He called out.

[Nexev]

"Ummmm.... here? Duh." Nexev said as he walked out of the base. "Yeah, Creator heard that Cirque has orders to invade here for some reason, so we don't need some smancy ambush anymore. Sweet right?" Nexev handed El Make and Falsetto a sandwhich. "Here, it's been a long day, you probbaly need it. Anyway, let's get you some real weapons. Come on." Nexev walked away to the weapon testing area of the lab, assuming that the others will follow him.

[El Make]

"No ambush? Sucks..." Tenkai mumbled as he swallowed the gift nearly in one bite. He was pretty hungry after all. Tenkai walked towards a group of Verdin soldiers, telling them to let the others know to stay put. As he walked back to follow Nexev, he qondered what "real weapons" meant to a guy like of this breed.

[i]Probably 10 nukes strapped together in a briefcase![/i] Tenkai though sarcastically, quickly catching up to Nexev to see what lay in store for his army.

"Oh, and one question, the power still seemed to be on when I was inside New Forum... anything to say about that?"

[Sploda]

"PROTO, move to the downtown area of New Fourm and use energy weapons to destroy possible Nexus hideouts, or better yet anything that doesn't sell Jellybeans." Creator said as he came up to PROTO's side. He was after all supposed to be his tank and keep him from being killed. "Also Make sure that you leave the sandwich shop, I'm hungry and will be eating a snack." Creator then began to walk off towards downtown, knowing that PROTO would have no choice but to follow.

[Kazooie]

"Um.. Thanks." Falsetto wasn't really inclined to trust this odd odd person just yet, but took the sandwich so that she didn't appear rude. Instead of taking a bite, she listened intently to the conversation. [i]No sneak ambush? Fine by me, I don't like those kind of attacks. I'm not quiet enough half the time.[/i] "So, Nexev, was it? What exactly are these, 'real weapons' as you put it? We don't have forever, at least, that's how I've understood our predicament so far." As she said this, she followed Nexev deeper into their base, hoping for some answers, although it wasn't her place to ask.

[Ghoulish]

Hyabusa watched as the green light above the town released countless unwanted objects, one of Hyabusa's clones suddenly signaled to him to go to the down town area. Hyabusa nodded and made pursuit down town, his 2 clones, one of a smaller woman and the other of a taller man were jumping from building to building while Hyabusa ran from the streets. many people on the streets were panicking, the chaos caused from the explosions had defionately made an impact on the morale of the town. The 2 clones suddenly stopped informing Hyabusa Telepathcially that there was a big robotic like structure looking to cause chaos. Hyabusa continued onward.

[Proto]

"Very well" PROTO walked slowly down the avenue, shooting anything that he saw. "Master, aren't we supposed to just lure out the Nexus? All of this collateral damage seems quite unnecessary, and isn't our goal to take care of the civilians?" PROTO did not expect Creator to change his opinion, his statistics showed that it was highly unlikely for him to listen to a robot. He checked his power levels, it was relatively unchanged, but just to be sure.... He saw a few people walking in the wreckage...

Three loud screams were heard through the city.

PROTO felt somewhat unsure about his actions, he didn't need this much energy, but the mission required him to be at full power, it was good that he had recharged....

[Sploda]

"I thought I told you to minimize Civilian casualties... oops my bad." Creator said but noted PROTO's evolving AI. It seemed that his program was working and he would soon be able to provide PROTO with sentience. That would have to wait until the mission was complete though. Creator then fired a mini-rocket at a skyscraper, destroying it before looking at a sensor.

"Hostile life signs near by PROTO, engage defense mode."

[Aqua Girl]

A sadistic and maniacal laugh is heard from the wepons' room, "Done~ It's done. Finaly the portable Summoning divice~ "Daemon~" " Anata yells triuphantly she sudenly kicks a demi Daemon across the room. Anata hears the footsteps of people coming she puts the finishing touches on the device, awaiting their entrance.

When she hears the voices she notices but one, "Nexev~" She says happily, apon hearing that name the Demi Daemon' Hid behind Anata like a mother, who they usualy fear like a dictator. "Nexev.... Please come in..... I have finaly perfected the Portible Summoning device..... What else brings you to the wepon's lab......"
